"Yeah, I know," Copernicus agreed. "I didn't know how to say it. I'm really so sorry for going behind your back like that. Hurting you and your relationship." He didn't know HOW to tell Plymouth how sorry he was. He'd beg and plead and crawl on his knees for miles. Anything.

"But I'm really happy for you. It's been good for me to see how you care about each other, because I know how good she is for you. And vice versa. I'm just sorry I had to screw up so badly to see that."

"There's no girl between us anymore," Cope insisted. "And if it's alright with you, I'd like to make up with Celandine. I didn't mean to ditch her friendship when I was trying to set limits on my friendship with her, but that's totally what I did."

He understood what Plymouth was saying, but he didn't know how to make him see that he HATED what happened between them. "Let's be mates again, ok?"

"I can't lift furniture. Look at my arms," Plymouth rolled his sleeve up. "I sale necklaces and shoelaces - not play Professional QUidditch. And for good reason." Speaking of which, Plymouth laughed, "Don't think you'll be breaking the Pros anytime soon either."

"No, I don't like flying and Quidditch much," Copernicus agreed. "You can't control yourself or your broom up there. It's so nervewracking, and everyone is staring." He shrugged. "I think it's overrated. Don't tell anyone I said that, though. They're crazy about it here."

Plymouth went in for the full frontal hug. He even put his head on Copernicus's shoulder. It was how brother's hugged. "I don't think, Perni, I know. From the Professors to the youngest ones. Must be in the water here, huh? All of them but Professor Bunbury. And Cela. And Anna."

"I wish I still had it. It was intense," Plymouth assured his brother. "It just said everything she was thinking..." It was pretty clear that Plymouth kind of liked it. Scary as it was, it was Anna. "She was kissing snowballs and putting them in my mouth. How did you miss that?? It... it was something, man."

It would have been easier to see how Anna felt if he could see the note. "How do you feel... about Anna?"

Plymouth took a deep breath and blew it out, making his puffy hair blow in the wind. "Well... I don't even know, Perni. I .. it's like .. you know magnets? One end pulls the other end and there's nothing you can do about it? There's NOTHING I can do about the way I act around her or the affect she has on me. Do you know what I mean?" Plymouth scratched his head in thought.

"I knew you'd understand," Plymouth gave Copernicus an elbow nuzzle with his elbow. "Me and CellBell were talking about it. She was kind of saying that what Anna is to me, you are to her. She was like, "Plymouth, if you climbed a tree with Anna, would you fall out because of her?" or something like that. And I would. I totally would. Right on my big puffy head."

"As for your Daddy Newell inquiry - Dunno. I'm going to let fate... be fate... I guess?"
