Barry knew arguing would have no effect so he tried something else "Look here Jack, its very simple, if he`s annoying you walk away and uh..... let me deal with him, ok? If you can do this.." Barry searched for the right phrase to presuade Jack " ..you are strong, it doesn`t take courage to hex, but to leave an enemy, that takes alot of will and determanation" there
Barry looked at Jake and said quickly "We`ll talk soon, first just please keep quiet and let Jack go"

Joanne acknowledged Jake's gesture by driving Jack's attention off of her. " Well I'm no one you should be worried about you know, but I'm sure I'm perfectly capable of getting someone here that will really worry you I think" she narrowed her eyes on him. First years are such a pain she thought "I'll see if I can find Dominic, you're house prefect" She looked at Jake a little worried but started walking in a quick pace down the corridor looking over her shoulder to make sure nothing harsh happened.

"YOU?!" Jake gasped. "That was YOU?!" Speechless, Jake scrambled for words, but he couldn't find the right ones. "Just let me go already!" he yelled at the boy, before looking round at Barry.

"Me let HIM go?!" Jake spluttered in indignation. "He's the one who won't let me go," he shook his head. Why did no-one stop to take notice of the situation.

Turning to look at Jack again, Jake tilted his head towards the girl. "See, don't like Denton, do we?" he asked, the we actually meaning you. Meh, Kayla would have been better to get hold of, because she knew about what Jack was like with Jake. But still, Dom was cool. "Now end it and Let. Me. Go."

Jack shook his head "Lies" he hissed

"Shut up" he told her "Dominic Denton" he smirked "I so want to run into the ejat" Jack glared at Jake and moved his wand up to Jake's face "Scared yet?" he asked.

Jack nodded "Me" he muttered "Nope" he smirked "I like Denton, he's nice to me" Jack grinned "Nah, this is fun" he grinned

"I`m sorry!" said Barry.
Barry drew his wand "I don`t want to hurt you Jack, but please move and let Jake through, you don`t want to land in detension do you?" asked Barry. "He hasn`t done anything, LET HIM GO" he said firmly and he wished that he didn`t have to use the wand, Denton would take too long anyway.

Looking straight into Jack's face, Jake shook his head and replaced his wand back into his pocket. "Nope," he said matter-of-factly. "Not scared... Do your worst, I don't care," he challenged.

"Well then I guess that makes two of us," Jake pointed out. "Wonder who he'd choose to believe."

Jack turned to Barry and knocked his wand to the floor with a flick of his hand "NO" he said stubbornly

Jack wondered whether he should put his wand away, he nodded as Jake put his away, then he stowed his in his pocket, he liked fair fights, Jack narrowed his eyes at Jake and put his arm against the wall "Dunno, depends, this does look bad for me" he reasoned

Barry took a second to retrive his wand, it wasn`t very difficult, and then stood straight, they were talking without wands he wasn`t going to press, but he wasn`t going to move . So he stood there watching and ready to save Jake-or Jack for that matter- from the danger of the first year.

"Just-" Jake moved to shove the boy's arm out of the way in order to leave. "Move!"

This was beginning to get ridiculous and Jake stared up at the two boys. Here he was, backed into a corner, and these guys were incredibly tall. Just wanting out, he attempted to push Jack out of the way again so he could run.

Jack watched Barry out of the corner of his eye

Jack's arm stayed where it was "I asked to talk, you want to go, fine, go, don't talk to me if you don't want to" Jack huffed as he sat on the floor feeling short now, he put his head in his hands and sighed sadly.

"Well thank MERLIN for that!" Jake exclaimed as Jack backed off. He vaguely registered Jack sitting down on the floor, and couldn't help but think Geez, what a freakin' liar... or actor... either way... it's all lies.

About to set off down the corridor, after the little incident, Jake commented, "Good acting there, mate."

Idiot, if he wanted to talk, why didn't he talk instead of push me around. Bah! I don't need acting liars like that...

Jack stood up suddenly "Don't call me a liar, I felt bad, I wanted to be a friend, but no, you had to go and start, didn't you" Jack growled quietly as he moved towards Jake slowly "Don't underestimate me Jake" Jack glared at him, still walking forwards.

Jake turned around, frowning. "I didn't call you a liar," he muttered to the boy, who was now advancing towards him. "You wanted to be a friend, you got no patience, mate, none... I don't deal with that, yeah? I don't want you near me after how you've been..."

Standing right where he was, waiting for Jack to reach him, Jake wondered exactly what Jack meant. "Underestimate?"

Jack kept walking "You did, quite blatantly" he growled "I don't have patience, no, especially when you just stand there not caring" Jack's pace was a little faster now, he was getting wound up, Jake was cruising for a bruising "Yes, I will do what I need to do" Jack told him, he pulled his wand out again as he walked, he stopped in front of Jake and pointed it at him again.

Jake shook his head, slowly. "I did not call you a liar," he repeated, his voice low. Soon, Jack was right there, wand out, looking ready to use the thing. "Why should I care?" he asked, questioning the boys statement as he turned his head slightly to the left and stared at Jack sideways a little.

"What, actually going to do it this time?" Jake asked, curious. "Go ahead, do 'what you need to do'," he quoted, standing there and waiting, not believing Jack would do anything. "I know you won't..."

Just a kid with a stick, that's all he is, Jake... a kid with a stick...

Jack smirked "You did think about it though" he then became furious "Because the world has other people in it" he answered "Yes, I am" he snarled "Depulso" he cast angrily at Jake "A stick that can hurt you" Jack smirked.

Piper was walking slowly down the hallway, she was aiming to find the stairs so she could get up to the 7th floor and to her common room. However as she turned the corner she came upon two boys who were fighting, and she recognized one of them. " Jack!" She called running up to them, her black hair flying behind her. " What is going on?" She asked looking worried.

"Didn't say it though, did I?" Jake murmured back to the boy, gazing intently at his face. He kept meaning to think more random things around this kid, but it never worked for long. "And yeah? How can I be sure tha- HURRGGHH!"

Suddenly, Jake was flung backwards along the corridor. He hit the floor with an agonising thud. "Owww..." he groaned. He could taste a little blood where the shock made him bite down on his tongue, but apart from that and being a little winded, all was good. "You total..." Git...

He made no effort to not think it that time, though he did to not say it. Lifting his head, Jake saw his wand somewhere near his feet and reached out for it.

Jack almost dropped his wand as Piper came around the corner "Nothing, yet" he smirked at Jake evilly, feeling irrationally angry

Jack lunged forward at Jake "Don't call me that" he growled as he kicked Jake's wand away and pointed his own wand at Jake's neck "I gave you a chance, you blew it"

Piper's eyes went wide as she looked at Jack as he had his wand pointed at the other kids neck. " Whoa Jack!! Stop!" She said as she did something very stupid and tried to lunge toward Jack. She managed to get her hand on it. "Jack, please. This isn't right. I don't know what he did to you, or what you heard.. but this.. this isn't the answer." She said trying to calm him down a little bit. She was trying with all her might to get the wand off the boys's neck. It wasn't working so well... Jack was amazingly strong. "Please Jack.." She begged.

Hearing footsteps, Jake struggled to find the owner of them, twisting his head round. Greeeaaatt... he thought, hearing her address Jack. Someone to take his side...

"I didn't call you anything," Jake moaned, stretching out for his own wand still, groaning when Jack kicked it away. Looking up at the boy Jake glared. "I'm not scared of you."

Freakin' nutjob!

Keeping his eye on Jack, Jake addressed the girl. "No, let him... he ain't got the guts to do anything more," he muttered bitterly, his frustrations finally coming to light. The kid had been lucky so far...

Jack gave her his wand "Fine, have it" he sighed, but he still didn't move away from Jake.

Jack grinned "Yet." he was about to leave Jake when Jake thought he was a nut job, Jack's hands immediately flew to Jake's throat, Jack tightened his grip and waited for Jake to start choking, Jack ignored anyone else, he was entirely focused on Jake, Jack glared into Jale's eyes, Jack's eyes were cold and bitter.

About to pull himself up, Jake went to reach for his wand, when he felt a hand on his throat. Another hand. And a squeeze.

"OFFFF!" Jake gasped, his own hands flying up to protect himself, feet flying up to kick the boy. He was suffocating, choking. This was sick... that boy would kill him.

Trying to take a breath, Jake panicked. He had always taken breathing for granted. "Hellppp..." he gasped out hoarsely. Staring into Jack's eye's, Jake seriously feared for his own life for the first time around Jack. And he was sleeping in the same dorm as this boy? No way...

Piper was grateful for Jack's wand, when he handed it to her.. however when Jack went for the other boys throat Piper had had enough. " Jack Stop NOW!" She yelled at him as she pried his fingers from the boys neck. "Stop.. THIS NOW!!" She yelled as she managed to get jack up off the other boy. " Jack, what is wrong with you?" She asked panting now for breath.

"Are you alright?" She asked looking at the other boy.

Reese wandered into the sixth floor corridor,sucking on a lollipop.She heard some commotion furth into the corridor and her eyes widened.She rushed her speed up a little bit until she saw Jake and Jack.The lollipop she had her mouth drop to the ground.Ohmygosh.

Reese ran over to the and tried pulling Jack off Jake. "GET OFF HIM,"she screamed.She didn't want Jake strangling Jake to death.Yeah,I know what your thinking. Reese hated Jake. And would do anything to hurt him. But,Jack was going to farrrrrr.Waaaaay too far. "JAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!" She tugged harder and harder.

Reese stopped pulling Jack,when the girl pulled him off Jake.THANK GOD.Reese ran over to Jake and pulled him in a hug. "Gosssh,are you okay?Can you breath okay?"
