Jack raised an eyebrow at her "Ruby" he shrugged, it was easy, since she was thinking her name "Why?" he asked

Ruby realised she had been thinking about her name and her eyes widened in shock he had never read her before and she was not amused, she was hoping John was alright and that she would see him soon. "what has happened to you Jack,?" she had another one for him "why are you like this you love a fight?"

Jack shook his head "Nothing, I still love a fight, but I will not fight you" he told her

Ruby looked at him and asked rather coldly "why?"

Jack frowned "I told Sak I would fight back, but I won't, I have no reason to" Jack told her

Ruby stood there wand still pointing at him and said "Sakura.....wanted you to fight me?......" she looked at him and then said "why don't you then she will find out if you don't"

Jack nodded "Because you fought her and she didn't want me to get hurt" he explained "Fine, Impedimenta" he cast at her

Ruby quickly said "Protego" and the sheild came around her she smirked at Jack and said "yes i sent a curse at her but she deserved it she was saying things about your brother, and we are an item"

Barry raced up to this level. He pointed his wand at Jack and cast the Jelly-Brain Jinx .

Jack sighed at Ruby "Don't smirk at me" he warned her "You will NEVER curse Sak and get away with it" Jack then cast the bedazzling hex "Protego" he cast against Barry's spell

Ruby said "Protego" and then looked at Jack and continued "your one to talk i just wanted her to shut up saying things about John, but YOU...broke her wrist, that is worse" she then pointed her wand at Jack and shouted the Tongue-Tying Curse at him she was so angry

"Ruby stop it now!" Sakura yelled from where she had just come up the stairs. "You're poison. What I said in the dorms came out wrong because I was so upset. My boyfriend was in the Hospital Wing but all you could think of was your loathing for him. Besides which I told you to leave it!"

Jack frowned "I didn't do that on purpose!" he yelled "Protego" he cast, watching the spell bounce off "Can't you talk without dueling?" he spat

Jack smiled "Thanks" he smiled

Ruby spun round and said "Sakura come to make sure your boyfriend finishes me off?" Ruby smirked "or have you come to watch me hex him into the next full moon?" she turned back to Jack and said "he is still the physco he was and deserves to be in ST Mungo's and as for you Sakura you don't deserve to know about Grandfather"

Ruby walked up to Sakura so they were nose to nose and said "you call me the ice woman....pfffft" she whispered in her ear and poked her "mother always said you never had a heart just like the rest of your family" she looked at Sakura and smirked

"It was the assignment" mused Barry, "You can work this out without fighting though"

Jack growled at Ruby "Don't you EVER say that" Jack pulled out his wand and his face became contorted with rage, it was scary, for other people, Jack gripped his wand so hard his hand was white "Expelliarmus" he cast "Wonder how John would feel if I broke that pretty necklace" Jack leered, as he inched closer to Ruby

Jack growled at Barry "Stay back"

Ruby quickly muttered "Protego" and the sheild came around and protected her she kept a firm grip on her wand and said "ah here is the Jack we know isn't it" when he mentioned John and her necklace that was tucked away underneath her robes she sneered at him "you would do that to someone your brother cares about?"

Jack frowned "Yes, especially anyone who insults Sak, NOW" he roared "GO" he yelled at her "BEFORE I DO SOMETHING I REGRET" he warned her

Sakura was about to respond but that last part. She'd actually felt guilty for insulting her aunt, she had contemplated. No but she hadn't done it. However she had been crushed by it, by her guilt and now. She knew that she shouldn't have trusted Ruby yet she had stupidly allowed herself to do so, she had allowed herself to think of her as another sister. No more, never again. She would see her in the deepest pits of hell first. Sakura vaguely noticed Jack threatening Ruby good, she may have defended her before but now she was fair game. Sakura was torturing herself though and the more she looked at her cousin the worse the anger bubbling inside her became.

She whirled around almost to fast for the eyes to see and started to run down the stairs. She felt so dizzy though and without warning she fell. A highpitched scream came from her throat before there was no more. She rolled down the stairs feeling nothing unconsciousness taking over. From the top of the stairs she would look dead, her hair spread around her a puddle of blood forming a halo around her head, with her arms and a leg sticking out at an odd angle.

Ruby heard a scream and turned around "Sakura" she whispered and she flew after her as she fell she found her at the bottom and screamed "JACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK"

Jack frowned as he saw Sakura fall "NO!" he ran down the stairs "NO, Sak?" he said softly into her ear "Ok, blood, not good" he muttered

Jack looked at her "Listen, stop, I am gonna run her into the hospital wing, follow along" Jack told her, he scooped Sak up in his arms, feeling stronger, he pocketed his wand and started to walk very fast

Ruby nodded and followed Jack crying as she did. She wanted to put her arms around Sakura and just say sorry but she couldn't tell her that Ruby sobbed a little more

Mariska watched with mild amusement as Cayden placed his hat on Kayla's head; While she wondered why he was so close with her, she didn't feel like chasing away Cayden the way she had Robert, with her weird insecurities and need to be the only one who got attention. And it helped that Cayden was still holding her hand and standing quite close to her even though he was being absurdly nice to Kayla. " I wouldn't know, actually." She said, again slightly amused at the way he was attempting small talk.
Mari didn't know what Kayla was referring to but she definitely didn't like the way Kayla kept referring to him in pet terms and how close she got to him. Quelling her natural cattiness and desire to have a jealous outburst, Mari bit the inside of her lip before talking again. " I don't know, don't fevers come from disease?" She said quietly, still holding Cayden's hand in a casual manner. She gave Kayla a look, wondering why it seemed that she and the Hufflepuff seemed destined to fight over boys, no matter who had laid a claim to them.

"They were upset that they found someone more intelligent and better looking." he teased with her."They really are something." he said sarcastically as she was starting to act a little weird. he looked at her after she whispered it into his ear."No. Their is something wrong with you." he told her as he took his hand back. Why was she acting this way?Chicks and their weirdness."And your a bad liar. At least i can tell when your lying." he stared at her as he was getting confused. he had a bad feeling about this either way.

He looked back at mari as she didnt know much about his small talk."You dont like quidditch then?" he was just curious. Not that he knew a lot about it himself, he just enjoyed watching it sometimes.He stared from kayla to mari as he felt a little uncomfortable. It was a bad idea to have them in the same room. He really should start listening to both of them when they said they didnt really care for each other."Not always. You can get them from just being sick. Or like chills. if your to cold or too hot for a period of time. You can get a fever. " he paused for a second as he moved his free hand to his head. Like he always did when he was a little nervious."So i heard."

Lovely. Drama. Could he possibly not stay out of it ever? Seriously was there some cosmic thing pulling towards every OUNCE of drama in the universe? He smiled and said, "Mari, Nice to meet you, formally."

He tried to ignore the tension that was brewing. He figured now would be the best time to intervene with some kind of subject to get them all to stop and talk about something else that wasnt so...dramafied.

He pondered for a moment and said, "Well I decided not to try out for the qudditch team this term. It was taking to much time away from homework last term, and if I want to be an auror after school I have to get top grades on my NEWT's. Cayden, Mari, what do you want to do after you graduate?" 'Good subject mads...no you look like a big nerd.' He thought to himself, hoping the subject change would make them all chill out.
