"Yes? Really? YES??" Plymouth did a very girl sort of jump up in the air where his legs went behind him.... It was not a moment to be proud of,but there it was. "You ARE my new favorite person, Celadine. I think I love you right now!" Plymouth went straight for itty Cela, picked her up, spun her around, gave her a quick kiss, and then put her back down.


Um. Oops? Plymouth pretended the end of his little happy fit didn't happen. He regressed into a better topic with a set of rosy red cheeks. "Kazimeriawhatever. He has like - super sonic hearing - and he over heard me asking if he was a Professor or a nursing home escapee. I personally feel that he is BOTH, at given moment.

"Alright." Cela agreed, being told that she was someones favourite person simply ran over her like water off a duck's back. She let out a helpless little eeeep as she was picked up and suddenly whirled arou... and what was that...? Celandine licked her lips thoughtfully as if trying to decide if a newly discovered candy was worth investing in.

She spent a moment or two trying to get her balance and blinked at Plymouth, noticing the blush and pressing her hands against her own cheeks as if to check for one of her own. It didn't feel like she was blushing. Cela knew she had a pretty blush... should she blush? Was she supposed to blush? She bit her lip and looked up at Plymouth from beneath her eyelashes; about the best she could do since blushing apparently wasn't going to happen.

"Kazimeriz is very nice." Celandine spoke firmly, "He knows about the shoelaces and he didn't tell me off and he even gave me points." Ahh ooops! Celandine did blush then; having realised she'd practically announced her guilt about the shoelace incident at the feast. But maybe Plymouth hadn't noticed all of the falling when the ghosts had appeared? She bit her lip harder and looked at the ground. Errrm.

OH MERLIN. Don't tell Anna, he mentally told her. Osmosis or telekinesis or whatever. Plymouth reaaaaally needed to get to Copernicus and have someone in their right mind tell him what to do.


"Um... well... I didn't even DO anything. He said that I looked like a boy that wanted points taken away - and clearly he's going blind in his old man age - and I told him that in fact, I looked like a boy that really WANTED points."

Plymouth scrubbed his knuckles against his ears and did not admit again of losing points. "He probably just likes you cause you're a girl and you're cute and have a full body brain. Reason why everyone likes you, I'm sure, me included. Why you get away with things and I don't."

Celandine had to ease her eyes up gradually to meet Plymouth's; sort of like climbing a ladder except her sight latched on to his feet, then his knees and sort of off to one side where the ear hair was dangling... somewhat absently Cela cast Diffindo again and watched as the hair spiraled to the ground. Huh. If someone went around collecting the off cuts of Plymouth's ear hair, they could knit a Gryffindor a sweater!

"Probably, you should just not talk around him." Cela advised helpfully, "though that might be hard because... well you seem to talk almost as much as I do. It's so hard having heaps to say all the time." Celandine mused for a moment before her eyes shot up to meet Plymouth's, "You might be right about all of that... but you won't tell anyone about... things will you?" Cela bit her lip hopefully.

"Umm..... well, no. Of course not. We're on the same team and you're little and cute and you saved me from that office. I wouldn't tell on you. I'd eat my own hair before I told on you. Don't be silly." Plymouth offered his hand again. "Could it be that YOU are a mixture of me AND Copernicus? Full body brain and head full of things that must come out of mouth?" Plymouth grinned and wiggled his hand. "Let's go find Copernicus."

"Same team." Celandine repeated with a bright smile. She reached to take his offered hand and then had a little dilemma as to which of her hands wanted to hold his. She solved it by transferring her wand to her other hand- so she could still diffindo pesky ear hair- meaning both of her hands would have a turn at Plymouth-hand-holding.

"A mixture only worse! Because things that must come out of mouth come from thinking too much with the parts of me that aren't my small head!" That full body brain thing was tiring! And Cela wasn't sure how much sense she was making! Exclamation mark!

"Alright," Celandine paused and finally took Plymouth's hand again, "Do you think he has candy?"

"Copernicus? I hiiiiighly doubt it. He'd probably say something like, ''it rots your teeth," or " the sugar blocks your car batteries" or something equally absurd. Poor Copernicus just doesn't know how to have fun." Plymouth totally followed her full body brain comparison.

"Remember when you asked about Cale Newell's hair? It's definitely a toupee. Animal fur, even. FYI."

Celandine shook her head a little sadly and the movement subtly changed into one of determination, "I shall educate him in the art of sugar consumption." Cela promised, wondering if she'd have to be subtle about it.

"Are you saying that you know how to have fun, Plymouth?" Cela cocked her head at him, reading between the lines that she wasn't entirely sure had even been drawn.

"Yeah?" Cela paused and her eyes boggled, "Really? How did you find that out? Did you touch it? I always kind of wanted to touch it... because its so... unique? I don't know if I have a real reason actually. Hmm. Maybe my reason is because it would annoy my brother if I touched Cale Newell's hai... toupee? Are you sure?" Cela stared at Plymouth, looking as if she were lapping up every word.

"Common room." she pointed out and added for good measure, "Copernicus?"

"Really? Girls like that?" Cale asked in confusion. It amazed him how much he still had to learn about the female species. He turned the corner, holding Anna's hand in his as he led them to the common room, and made a mental note that girls liked cards. He honestly didn't see what all the fuss was about--he, for one, could really care less if he got a card for his birthday. Hello, presents please!

Cale hugged her back and squeezed her hand with a smile. "Yeah, feelings are good. They show you aren't a robot thingymajig. Plus, I think we learned that every healthy relationship requires communcation about feelings otherwise things just combust at the Gryffindor table," he chuckled.

As they walked along, he realized that he recognized a couple of people up along the corridor a bit further--it was Cela, the nice Toussiant, as Cale liked to refer to her, and then Plymouth. Uggh. Cela, he didn't mind, but Cale wasn't exactly fond of Plymouth. Or was it Copernicus he didn't like? He couldn't keep them straight--all he knew was one of them seemed to be quite fond of Anna, and the other one convinced some little first year kid in the Magical Menagerie to tug on his hair. Apparently, his gorgeous locks looked fake to him.

"Erm, hi Cela! And Plymouth," he added, grinning politely at the two of them as Anna and him approached them. "How are you?" he asked. Be nice Newell. Technically, you have no reason to not like this bloke. It's not like he called you a prat like Clifford did.

"Yup, they do. They like cards, flowers, hugs, and kisses," Anna said, stepping up on her tippy-toes to kiss Cale on the cheek. She stepped back down on her own two feet, but continued to watch Cale as the two of them walked down the corridor. Cale was just all boy. He didn't understand cards and kisses the way Anna did, but she still loved him all the same. "So...you do think we should talk about our feelings?" Anna asked. "So if I'm upset about something that you're obviously not upset about, you don't mind talking me through it?" she asked.

Before Anna could get an answer, though, she and Cale had stumbled upon both Cela Toussaint and Plymouth Morgan, two of Anna's really good friends. She wasn't sure how Cale felt about them, but judging by the way he was currently looking at Plymouth, Anna guessed those two hadn't gotten off to the greatest start. Anna smiled politely and greeted the two just as Cale had just done. "Hey, Cela...Plymouth. How's it going?" Anna asked.

Interesting, eh? "Interesting is good..." Jake nodded, Lolcat bobbing a little on his shoulder. Well, it depended entirely what kind of interesting Lima was on about, but he'd let it slide... for now.

Jake nodded. "Sounds about right," he said. "Don't worry, I'm not entiiiiiirely stupid, I'll try being careful." Try...

Again, Jake nodded... veeeeeery slowly this time. "Yes... they do..." Kitty? What is with the majority of the female population and that word?!

Piper was wandering down the hall, lost in a day dream about Professor Dumont, she was wondering if he would ever send for her. She.. She missed him. Even more than she missed Nigel, which was... not right. Seeing as she and Nigel were supposedly going out. She hadn't even seen him this year at all. Maybe she would see him at a Quidditch game sometime.

She sighed a bit more as she ran her hand through her long black hair, and she looked around, noticing some of the other people in the corridor, she knew Lissy and Cale, but the others she didn't. So she decided to.. well make herself as small as possible and get to her common room before anyone noticed her..

Chalice walked down the hall. She almost knocked into every person there, it was ridiculous. "Sorry." she had to constantly mutter to excuse her absentmindedness. She didn't understand why she was dizzy but she decided it was her blood sugar and popped a fire dragon into her mouth before nearly running into Piper. "Sorry Piper."

I really hope i dont get that sort of education from here." he teased as he spoke it seriously. he shook his head a little as he corrected her with the whole numbers system." Your looking at it wrong. your boyfriend, your wife, of husband...whatever that person is, they dont have a number. They arent a number because they are above it. Its like how in some games they have a ratings of how things go. One being the best and ten being the worse. You know people always say that someone is a zero even though that isnt even on the scale. Im number one because he isnt on the number scale. Its how it works. " he hoped it made sense."And of course it worked. Im magic like that." he informed her. " You should know this by now." he gave her a smile as he looked like he wanted to say something but didnt. "You do know where we are going right?"

"Do you have to pick up every little mistake I make?" she asked shaking her head at him. "Oh okay so Nico, is not allowed on the list because he's already my husband...did you say?" She quirked an eyebrow at him, like she had never imagined the two of them getting married. "Okay, okay I get it. So yes you and Maddox, are at the top of my list right now." Kayla looked at Cayden for a moment, the things he came out with just made her laugh. "No, I've only been at Hogwarts for the past five years and I still can't find my way around" she remarked dryly. "Of course I know where I'm going."

he shrugged a little when she asked if he had to pick up on everything." I cant help it. maybe i enjoy busting your chops?" he eyed her as she said nico was her husband."You move faster then i do." he remarked as he looked over at her."its good you at least get something." he moved to whistle a little after he said it as he was looking around all innocent like."By next year im going to get around faster then you will." he almost snorted as she said she knew where she was going." I think Ma-" he stopped himself as it wouldnt be a good comment to add."You really dont like her do you?" He really couldnt understand it.

"Yes I've picked up on that" she remarked and rolled her eyes and then took a playful swipe at him. "How about I bust your chops?" she gave him a wink before dancing away from him before he could hit her. "I think I'll ignore that comment, Cayden Blood" she gave him a wink. "Sometimes I wish I was a guy, it doesn't seem to matter when you lot flirt and play around." Kayla stopped when he almost mentioned Mari's name and turned to stare at him contemplating his question. "It's not that I don't like her...I...I'm just jealous of the time she got to spend with Nico." The time that should have been mine she thought.

"at least you pay attention." he responded to her comment about picking up on things. about time. he snickered as she told him she was going to bust his chops." I doubt you could." he told her honestly. it took a great deal to upset him. Her hitting him like a girl and her teasing banter couldnt get near what it took."Whatever you like Miss Winters." he told her as she started to talk about how she wanted to be a guy. That was something new."I wouldnt exactly say that. We dont get away with it all the time." It was true. when she started to think about his questions he stopped walking as he waited for her answer. he couldnt help but smile at her answer. "I dont think i'll understand you females. Why would you care if she got something so little. You get him for now and for how ever long you two are together. Its kind of stupid if you ask me." he looked at her seriously as he asked," why cant you just move forward?"

Kayla raised an eyebrow at Cayden, "Perhaps not all the time but most of the time. I know for a fact that Mads is playing around with quite a few girls and they don't seem to mind" she snorted loudly. "Honestly, if he tried that on me I would hex him into the middle of next week." Forgetting that last year she had done the exact same thing to a couple of guys but it had also bitten her in the butt in the end. Kayla looked at Cayden, as is if he had grown another head. "Of course you would think it was stupid...you're a guy. I don't know it's hard to explain, he wasn't technically mine at the time but he was still in my heart and the thought of him with someone else...well I just don't like it" she took a deep breath and continued to walk down the corridor. "And besides that she didn't care how I felt she did all she could to rub into my face."

he chuckled at her comment as he shrugged."what can i say. He picks the ones who like the attention more then anything else. You just have to know what your looking for and make sure you do everything right. Its like being sneaky. You should know. your good at it." he told her as she went on about how she would hex someone." See. You have to pick the right ones." he added as he stared at her a little funny. Why was she staring at him that way. His hair wasnt that messy was it?"Okay." he said as she told him that cause he was a guy he wouldnt understand." I get the not wanting someone you care about being with someone else." he couldnt help but snicker as she added about how someone rubbed it in. It was kinda funny but at the same time he would be really upset off if they did that to someone he knew." SO its more that she rubbed it in your face then anything else. Its like im in second year and all the kids are running around." he said with sarcasm."I can understand that. Mind me saying something though?"

"Oh believe me I know how to be sneaky" she chuckled. "I did it last year with a couple of guys and you know I just ended up hurting one of them. I thought he was all for the attention and such and that he was just a player...seems I was wrong in the end. People just shouldn't mess around with other people's feelings" Kayla shrugged as she walked on but it was still going to happen regardless of what she thought. "Basically but there are other things that I don't wish to talk about" she stopped walking and looked at Cayden warily. "You're probably going to anyway, so go right ahead I'm all ears."

He listened to her story as he smiled a little. They were a lot alike. it was kind of amusing." I agree with you. people are the most fragile creatures if you ask me. you dont see centaurs doing these things." he thought about it for a second as he added," though im positive i wouldnt want to have a tail. If i had to become a creature i would say a vampire would be the best. At least your someone what human." Hopefully he didnt just freak her out a little with a subject change. Vivi was cool. He didnt see anything wrong with it at the moment.

"As you wish. If you want to later im here. Just dont drown me." he asked of her as he couldnt help but smile as she stopped and looked at him. " You look like im about to do something bad." he told her as she then said go ahead."Im not quite sure your ready for my comment." he snickered a little as he just wanted to slightly annoy her. It was fun for some reason. he liked her and everything so the annoying bit wasnt making much sense to him."I do like it when she french kisses me." he had a smug look on his face as he walked foreward.

Kayla had to laugh, he was comparing people with Centaurs. "Well who would have guessed that Cayden Blood, could actually have feelings" she wrapped her arms around herself. "Just makes me go all warm and fuzzy inside" she giggled as she dropped her arms again. "Oooh I love Vampires, the whole sucking your blood thing...way cool" she said giving him a wink.

She watched him as he contemplated telling her what he wanted and she had the feeling she was not going to particularly like it. Kayla gave him a horrified look and then placed her hands over her ears. "Ugh...Cayden, I do not want to hear this" she turned away from him. "Why would you think I would want to know that? You know how I feel about her." Kayla was very close to punching him in the face for that.

"Um...Beautiful faces often comes with feelings. it shouldnt surprise you much." he added as she put her arms around herself. He chuckled as he shook his head at her."warm and fuzzy inside." he raised one of his eye brow at her as he added,"You know what that means right?" She was in love with him. it was obvious."Your kidding right? You ...love vampires?" he was curious about this one." Go ahead. I want to know more."

he chuckled as she covered her ears." i dont know. I think its for making me fall on my butt." he explained as he shrugged a little." i wont do it again." He promised her." So more about vampires."

"Doesn't surprise me at all" she admitted with a grin. "Probably why I like you and can trust you" she raised an eyebrow at him as if to say 'I better be able to trust you.' Kayla burst out laughing...oh he was priceless. "And I was being sarcastic Cayden, I like you as a friend but that's all" she said firmly and it was true...right? "Well yeah, what's not to love about vampires. They always seem to be really sophisticated and gorgeous and I don't know, they have that whole seduction thing going on" probably because they wanted to suck your blood.

"Well I apologised for that, doesn't mean you have to tell me about what you do with her." Ewww...now she had that mental picture in her head and she tried to shake it off. "What more do you want to know? I'd love to meet one someday."
