Yeah, we have some pictures of people like Nymphadora Tonks and Cedric Diggory but thats about it. Christine grabbed the wrapper she was levitating and put it in her bag. Lets see.... favorite muggle food..... well that would be mashed potatos. I can eat them every day and not get tired of them she said with a smile on her face. Pets? Nope, I'm not an animal person. They are too much work to take care of. And my dads house..... well it looks like any old house, but the dishes clean themselves, and so do the clothes, and everything is summoned, no one has to walk to get something, and we travel through the fire place. It just great. Christine said with alot of enthusiam, she loved magic.

"I love mashed potatoes. They are the best. I like sushi as well. I love food... but you couldn't tell" he said. He knew he was skinny. He couldn't help it. Nathaniel was getting hot. He hated his robes. He took them off and shoved them in his backpack. Now he was in his jeans and a tshirt. "I just started washing everything. Since Mum left Father doesn't do much. So it's up to me to do everything." he said with a frown as his hair turned back to black.

On the floors Damian began to draw corridors and rooms he goes in his scratchbook.

Totally concentrated in his work he didn't see the potraits who watch him.

John Shook her hand ...
"You seem sad, what`s the matter?"

Via chuckled at what he had said, "Was it really me who is sad or is it you?" She smiled at John, "I've noticed it a while ago, that's why i am looking at you. And if ever you insist i am sad... it's because i missed my sister."

" So we are almost at the same situation I`m miss my big sister too ...but im also kind of home sick already...." he said with a sad smile...

The smile on Via's face faded as John gave her a wry smile. She wanted to comfort the boy. "you're a first year," she said suddenly smiling back at her. "You'll find many friends here at Hogwarts."

As they continued to walk, "You won't find friends with just a blink, you'll have to earn them as you go on with your Hogwarts' life." She breathed as she stopped by a window. She looked out of it and beamed at the beautiful scenery she had missed during the summer. "i was like you before," she told him without taking her eyes off the distance, "And i still feel that everytime. But when i think of all the friends i have made for the past two years, their kinda inspiring. And their making me feel like Hogwarts' my real home."

She turned to look at him, "I miss my sister because i just met her last summer. And i didn't want to leave her again but i know she wants me to be here." Wow, so she had started his story. She stopped herself and started asking questions about the boy. "Were you a pureblood?"

Varius Tipps, was, strange to say the least and it wasn't the fact that he knew random facts people hadn't heard of or liked to rub people's heads in welcome or even his weird narcoleptic, but not so narcoleptic episodes he occasionally took due to the fact he was simply lazy and slept even more than a newborn muggle. No, the thing that made Varius Tipps the strangest of all strange is that he wasn't even aware of his strange ways or his weird habits.

So, to add to this never-ending list of peculiar traits, he was on the seventh floor corridor starting his mission. He was going to learn the name and have a conversation with every single portrait inside the castle and doing things backward (like Varius did best) he was starting from the top and making his way down the floors, rather than the bottom working his way up. "Hello, young sir," he greeted a rather elderly man in a huge frame. He reached out to rub the picture's head before realising that the portrait was two dimensional. No worries...

Instead, he raised one solid finger and poked the man's noise gently. This wasn't received well by the portrait as he started to shout cuss words so old that it would make one think this man hadn't been in a proper human body for a good few centuries.

"Oh well... good day then," he said, quite unsure as to why this man was being so rude. What must have gotten his dress robes in a knot? He was slightly disappointed he hadn't caught the man's name, but maybe later when he had calmed down a bit.

Meredith was counting stairs. There were aloooooot here at this school! Granted she didn't get the idea till about the third floor and so had to start all over again. As she reached the seventh floor corridor she was concentrating on remembering what stair number she was on that whe wasn't paying attention to where she was going. Meredith was not the best multitasker.

Due to her lack of concentration, not to mention her still unfamiliarity with the surroundings she soon ran into something and stumbled a bit. She shook her head to get her bearings and realized she had ran into someone!

"Oh I'm so sorry! Are you ok? I didn't hurt you did I?" Oh dang, now she forgot the number.

He had discovered Gwendolyn the Gardner who was really angry at how inconsiderately placed she was 69 years ago (she would have rathered a position on the exterior of the castle to watch the green grass grow), which led to a big discussion about plants. Gwendolyn specialised in cross-breeding magical and muggle plants, did you know? Anyway, he was just about to introduce himself to Harold Schwarmypoopsicle when he was nudged off of his feet.

There had once been a superstition that you would never break a bone if you sang Harry had a little Niffler quickly before impact with the ground was made. Needless to say, Varius failed to sing the whole song in time and collided with the stone floor with no hope of being fixable afterward.

He returned to a normal stance, pleased to find no bone had been broken and turned to face his attacker! It was an older woman, likely to be a staff member, and if not, an intruder. OH NO! INTRUDERRR!

He took dueling stance and reached into his pocket pulling out a... carrot? "It may be breakable and it may be orange, but do not be deceived by the good it will do as one of your five a day! What is your purpose!? Why did you attack me with no warning!? Speakkkk fair maiden!" (Clearly, Minister Henry IV's insane vocabulary had rubbed off on him from a few portraits back).

Attack? Carrot?? Maiden? Well ok she was a maiden but she hadn't heard anyone speak like that...well ever really and not to mention using a carrot as a defense. She was tempted to take a bite of it. It did look pretty good actually.

Oh he had asked her questions. She should probably answer them. "I wasn't attacking you...young sir. I was counting stairs and not concentrating sooooo I tripped over you actually."

Meredith took the carrot and took a bite before handing it back to him. Good stuff. "I'm the nurse, you're not hurt...right?" Though this was a weird situation, he might be.

"Oh! In that case," he walked up to the woman and began rubbing her head, "I welcome you into my personal bubble. Now, what did the number come to? The stairs I mean. Such a very important mission and hopefully you successfully completed it! Information like that could be very significant one day - how many did you conclude with?"

Rubbing the dust off his arms he acted macho and masculine as if the fall hadn't humiliated him in the slightest, chewing on the carrot as if he were Bug's Bunny (and as if Bug's Bunny existed in the magical world of 'pure'bloods). "I'm fine, no sweat... or no worries... whatever you prefer. You are a nurse afterall so you must be fond of good hygiene, so I shall stick with no worries as sweat is a rather disgusting bodily function when you think about it... and it smells... nothing worse than excreting smelly liquids... and why would anyone want to use the word of a smelly bodily function in a sentence?" he was rambling, by Merlin, he was really rambling.

Merry actually gave a slight blush. "Well I was trying to remember the number and then had a mild clumsy moment," Yes, she's had way worse, "that I lost count. Oh well I'll count another day and be sure to let you know." She smiled and then the smile changed to a raised eyebrow and a curious look as the boy started rambling on about sweat stink.

"Yes, no worries will be fine. I appreciate the consideration." Merry said starting to chuckle.

Well, that was such a caring thought, "You will?" he questioned enthusiastically and excitedly. "My name is Varius Tipps, Hufflepuff, for whenever you want to send an owl to inform me of the number. I would really appreciate some insight into that fact - I like facts. I like random and unusual facts. Things that other people wouldn't really know... kind of like my own little secrets.

He smiled, unsure where to take the conversation from this point. "What brings you to this floor anyway? I thought the Hospital Wing was on the third floor... are you hear to converse and learn all the portraits' names such as I?" After knowing all the portraits he would probably move onto house elves... or find all the common rooms... or something like that.

"Nice to meet you Varius. I was actually going to ask the astronomy professor a question and figured I'd entertain myself on the way up." She told him with a laugh.

"For some reason you liking random facts doesn't surprise me. I'll definitely send you that owl. Talking to all the portraits seem like a daunting task. I wish you the best of luck."

"Astronomy, huh? One of those subjects whose exteriors shout IAMBLOODYBORINGGGGGG, but are probably incredibly fascinating," he began rocking back and forth on his feet. "Thank you for your wishes and all, and I shall keep my fingers crossed that you gain the answer you seek - but please, do not let me hold you up any longer."

He stepped to the side as if to let her pass, despite the fact the corridor was about ten times the size of him and there was no need for such a locomotive. "I need to go pick up some lunch anyway. It was very nice to meet you Nurse - I shall come see you next time I cause injury to myself... which shouldn't be too long," he noted as an afterthought before rubbing her head once more in goodbye. He made his way to the stairs that would lead him to the Great Hall (with slight intention to attempt the stair counting task the Healer had completed but forgotten).

we travel together all the time... "He explained
" i guess your right about the friends im just a bit home sick...where you from?"

Via smiled, "I see," she said, "that was a cool sister you got. But i think my sister's cool too. She just needed to spend time with her. "I'm from England. Well the countryside." Via said.

John Instantly smiled at the word countryside
" Ahhhh so we match Perfectly" he laughed
" I'm from The Ireland countryside 20 min on a broom from Dublin"
He made a stupid bow at her with a huge smile ...

Via laughed, "Matched perfectly huh," she said. "Cool. But of course we don't ride brooms to reach our house." She joked.

"no... just as a matter of measuring time ya know what i`m saying..."He smiled at her ...

Chalice walked slowly down the corridor reminissing her life and the times she has had. She twisted the ring on her thumb and noticed a few fellow Gryffindor students in the corridor too. "Hi!" Chalice said as she approached the area where they are standing.

Lima slowly but surely made her way towards the Room of Requirement. It was a bit difficult to go anywhere with your head in the clouds, and she was certainly busy at the moment. She was trying to form music in her head to go along with one of the songs that she wrote. As she worked, she whistled the tune.

What is that infernal whistling?!

Jake started down the corridor, following the noise, his eye twitching as it grew louder.

"Oh for the love of all that is small and shiny, what in the world is that NOISE?!" he yelled. Then he saw her. An older girl, alot older. And she was the whistling culprit.

Ok... maybe I won't confront the source.

"I mean to say... hi," Jake smiled his innocent yet creepy grin, as Lolcat mewed loudly from his shoulder, watching the girl intently.

She stopped suddenly on a flat note. UGH! Annoying boys. Why did someone always have to interrupt her train of thought?

Especially ones with the same mouth of Dominic Denton. Though Denton had a certain charm about him.

And as she turned around and noticed that creepy grin, she had to think that this kid was lacking that charm.

"Hi," she said frowning. She turned her gaze to his cat next. Well, at least he had a cute pet.
