Kayla looked at Mari from over Cayden's shoulder and she raised an eyebrow. "Yes they possibly can" she turned her head slightly so that she was close to Cayden's ear. "And you have to ask yourself where I would have caught such a disease?" smirking slightly she pulled back from Cayden and gave Mari a small wink. Bring it on honey!!!

"Yeah me" she teased him back. Kayla chuckled at his comment, boys really had no idea when girls got territorial. "But only you can tell" she smirked. "And I thought we were going to take a walk by the lake" she said a little louder. Which was totally not true but she didn't care, if it meant getting one up on Mari, she would so take it.

Kayla turned towards Maddox and her mouth dropped open slightly. He was talking about Quidditch...now!! When two girls were about to rip each other's eyes out. She stepped away from Cayden and closer to Mads, "Nice try" she whispered. "But this is a battle of wills and I don't intend to lose" she looked back at Mari and Cayden. Nope she wasn't winning this one!

Awesome. something else to talk about. Thank those dancing hippos troll things." My cousin is an auror. He likes it. I bet you'll enjoy it." oh great. And now it just went out the window. He had NO idea what he wanted to be."Um. I dont really know. I hadnt really thought that far ahead. I'm sort of live life as it comes sort of person." he smiled a little as he looked over at mari. Maybe she would have something more to say on it.


He looked at Kayla as he caught the wink. he stared at her as she kept flirting with him. He sighed a little as he was starting to pick up on what was going on. He wasnt going to be in their little war. "I dont know where you caught a disease. I dont carry anything." he added as he looked back at mari as he gave her a smile. He wasnt going to be used."I can only tell cause im the only intelligent one around you most of the time." He turned his attention to her as she said they were going for a walk around the lake."Maybe later." he told her as he smiled at kayla." i was thinking i would go with mari. I mean Maddox here would like to go with you. You could catch up since he's been so busy. I wouldnt mind him taking my spot." he looked over at mari as he put his arm around her and kissed her head. " You guys go ahead. Dont want to slow you down."

Shana smiled.First year. She wrinkled her nose and hiccuped.

She was in full spy mode and she was creeping silently down the corridor in search of a victim. She had gotten Jake, and that Ravenclaw and she had protected herself from Tobi she only needed to get one more person in her book. She was dressed in head to toe black with her hair in a black stocking. She was going to get someone and they weren't going to see what hit them.

Anna crept out of the Common Room and down the corridor, making sure she stayed hidden in the shadows. The second part of Defense Against the Dark Arts was going to start soon, and Anna still hadn't started the little game they were meant to be playing. Anna passed several Gryffindors in the corridors, all of whom were off-limits to hexes and jinxes when it came to this game. She needed to find a Hufflepuff, a Slytherin, or a Ravenclaw. Anna leaned up against the wall and stared all around her, trying to spot the perfect victim.

Minutes passed, and just as Anna thought she'd end up being unlucky in her little hunt, Paris Greenwood appeared. Anna watched the girl for a moment, finally determining that she, too, was on the hunt for a victim. Too bad she was about to get hexed! Anna lifted her wand, pushed herself quickly off the wall, and jumped out into the middle of the corridor. "Bogicious!" (Bat-Bogey Hex) she exclaimed, her wand pointed right at Paris.

She heard Anna before she saw her or heard her hex. She didn't have time to throw up a shield so she dove behind a suit of armor. She felt the hex whiz past her cheek.

She sent a stinging spell from between the legs of the armor. "Catch me if you can Anna." She laughed as she took off down the corridor.

Qaz walked out of the Ravenclaw Common Room just in time to see a Griffie hex a Slytherin. Well, two can play at that came. Qaz waved her wand at the Griffie, 'Impedimenta'.

Before anybody could attack her, she protected herself with a circular wave of her wand and 'Impiriano.'

Best be on my way, she thought, and ducked back in the Ravenclaw Common Room.

Anna made a slight face at Paris as she saw the Slytherin girl dart out of the way and miss the hex by mere inches. Darn. Anna had just pretty much given Paris a good opportunity to hex or jinx her in return. Knowing that, Anna lifted her wand in Paris' direction, preparing herself to cast the Shield Charm in an effort to protect herself. Sure enough, Paris was quick to cast a Stinging Spell, a move that would have taken Anna by surprise and hit her had she not been ready. "Protego!" Anna called, blocking the spell with ease. That acorn exercise in class sure had come in handy!

Anna watched as Paris took off down the corridor. "Catch you? Of course. If you say so!" Anna replied, her wand still lifted in the air. "Jelegious!" (Jelly-Legs Jinx) she called out, hoping this jinx would hit Paris for sure.

She heard Anna put up a shield charm and she turned around to see Anna give chase. "Come on Miss Prefect!" She teased. There was no way Anna was going to chase her down. Africans weren't known for their running ability for nothing. She side-stepped Anna's curse. "Nice try dahling!" She laughed as she flung a tripping jinx back at Anna.

Anna growled as Paris dodged yet another curse. "Don't 'dahling' me!" she playfully snapped back. "Pro---!" Anna started to call out, but stopped short when her wand slipped from her hand. "Argh!" She quickly dived to the ground, and clutched her wand in her right hand once again. Even though she was lying flat on the floor with no time to pull herself back up, Anna thought fast and exclaimed, "Jelfinigio!" (Jelly-Fingers). This one had to hit Paris. It just had to. As soon as the spell was casted, Anna quickly pulled herself up off the floor and watched to see what would happen.

Busted!!! Kayla could tell by the look on Cayden's face that he had worked out what she was up to and for a second she was about to apologise to him but he focused his attention back onto Mari and Kayla had to literally restrain herself from not screaming. Again!! It had happened again, where Mari had just waltzed in and taken someone that she cared about. She watched dispassionately as he kissed her and she could feel her anger mounting in great tides. They had been having fun, had they not? And SHE walks in and ruins it, Kayla was beyond reasoning...never a good sign and she decided it was probably best if she simply left right now before she did something she was seriously going to regret.

"That's okay" she said through gritted teeth. "I think I can handle making my own way to the lake...I don't need a babysitter." She took a step back away from him. "Hope you have a fun time. I'll see you later...or maybe not" she added softly as she turned on her heel and stalked away.

She skipped a few steps and looked back at Anna. "Alright then love. Keep up with me." She smiled as she turned back around. She picked up speed as they rounded a corner. She heard Anna cry out and she turned to see what happened. "I hope you are better on a broom then your feet," She giggled. She ducked under her spell and sent a hurtling hex right back at her. "Lets go slow poke!" She took off back down the corridor.

"Argggghhhhh!" Anna exclaimed, frowning at the "better on a broom" comment. "I can outrun, outlast, and out-fly you any day, Greenwood!" Anna took off running down the corridors, chasing after Paris and determined to hit her at least once before this little game ended. "Protego!" Anna called out, blocking Paris' spell while still running full-force. Since Paris was running, Anna needed another spell that would knock her right off her feet once and for all. Ahhh, the knee-reversing hex! With a wicked grin, Anna raised her wand and called out the incantation for the knee-reverser. "Take that, Greenwood!" she exclaimed.

Just as he was about to give Kayla his wonded puppy face, Cayden had to say something like that to her. Maddox quickly put his hands to his face as Kayla walked away, angry. He sighed, and put them back to his side. "You just messed up big time dude." Maddox then turned on his heel. But before leaving he waved and said, "See you around." He took off running. Hopefully he would be able to catch up with Kayla before she went into hiding.

Mariska was grateful when Cayden spoke before her because if she had had her way, she would have done something stupid. Like continue verbally baiting Kayla. A smile moved over her lips as Cadyen put his arm around her and then gave her an affectionate little kiss on her head. It pleased her somehow to know that he felt a need to make his choice known, and even more so to know that she was that choice.
Mariska turned her gaze towards Kayla again, biting her lip to keep from smiling more as she saw the other girls expression. She looked slightly murderous, Mari thought. Good thing she was leaving then, she thought to herself again. " See you then," She said politely, thinking that she had finally gotten Kayla Winters back for that time in Diagon Alley....and it was pretty awesome, if she admitted it to herself.

She heard Anna's battle cry and she put on another burst of speed as they rounded yet another corner. She was enjoying this little chase. She could be the fastest runner in Hogwarts. "You haven't caught me yet Prefect," She taunted again. She did a running cart wheel to show Anna that she wasn't going to catch her at all. At least not on her feet. She side stepped Anna's spell once again. She laughed. "Diffindo!" She said pointing at Anna's clothes. She didn't stay to see what happened as she spotted a hidden doorway behind a tapestry and she was tired of running around the castle.

"Better luck next time Anna!" She shouted before she disappeared behind a tapestry.

Qaz exited the Common Room and head for the stairs. She might be starving, but she knew enough to keep her eyes open and her wand ready, just in case....

Or not. He sighed as he watched maddox and kayla walk away. It was her fault for telling lies and then putting him in the middle of them. if she wanted to tell lies then tell them to mari when he wasnt around. And not anything that had to do with him. he didnt want to be between the war. he liked them both and he wanted to be friends with both of them. Or not. She was full of it. You didnt share information like they did and then drop them off the face of the planet. She was smarter then that.

When they had left he pulled his arm from her as he looked at her seriously." Dont do that again." he wasnt going to be the yoyo between the two. " You guys want to insult each other and drive each other nutz, leave me the hell out of it. dont use me as a way to irritate her when you guys are fighting over something that has nothing to do with me. She's my friend, i care about her. Im sorry what happened to the both of you, but im the person you both can yank around to bother the other person. Dont do it again." he looked at her as he was irked, but maybe being a little to mean. No he was doing fine.

Mariska looked up at Cayden curiously when he pulled his arm from her. She stood, calmly and quietly taking in his words and obviously agitated demeanor, and she bit her lip a bit when he was finished. " I wasn't using you," She said finally. " She started it anyway," She added lamely. " And besides that, I had to...well, I don't know let her know somehow that I wasn't just going to let her flirt with you like that in front of me." She said. " I didn't even do anything that bad," She said, starting to get a little irked herself.

"Looked like it to me." he told her honestly as she came up with she started it." Doesnt matter who started it. You know im here for you. Trust me, she isnt going to get away without me saying something. You know what she is like. That is just us being friends." he paused for a second as he then tried this again." Look i know she wasnt helping any, but if you can stand it to be around her then please dont let it bother you. I havent asked or anything but your my girlfriend. at least thats how i see it. She is dating another guy. Its simple. Its you and Me." he looked at her as he then stuck his hands into his pockets. "I Guess if you want to be my girlfriend." He looked at her as it was his backwards way of asking.

Mari let out a frustrated sigh. " I wasn't though," she said emphatically. She went silent again as Cayden chastised her again and she looked away, knowing that he was at least a little bit in the right and she in the wrong. She pressed her lips together and looked at him again when he mentioned her being his girlfriend. She really wanted to be angry at him but the way he looked standing there, with his hands in his pockets made her smile just a little tiny bit. " You know I do," she said quietly, crossing her arms in front of herself as he looked at her.

What was it with females and not admitting things? They were perfect at it. At least the ones he knew. he grinned at her as she said she wanted to."Awesome." He moved one of his hands to the back of his head as he wasnt quite sure what to do next."So erh. You want to go for that walk around the lake? Or we could just go walk where ever you want." he didnt really care where they went really. he smile a little as this was the weirdest conversation he had in a long time.

Mari rolled her eyes. Then she smiled and then reached out for Cayden's hand as they stood in an uncomfortable silence. " I think we should walk wherever our feet take us." She said, wondering why she had even let Winters get to her in the first place. " Come on, we can talk more wherever we walk to. Maybe we'll end up at the lake." She said, pulling him with her. She was glad they hadn't fought much, but she was also glad he had had the nerve to tell her she was being stupid. Sometimes she did need to be told that, and when Kayla was around, that was always going to happen.

"Alright." They were going to do this random thing. Like where ever the wind takes us sort of thing. he let her take his hand as she then yanked him with her. He would of almost tripped over his feet if it wasnt for his awesome balance." Just as long as it doesnt have to do with statues and pandas." he teased as he walked with her. he leaned over to kiss her again as he followed her.

Meredith heard Shana say the answer she suspected, first year. She smiled friendly at the girl. "Oh, okay." not the best thing she could've said, but she couldn't think of anything else. "I'm a second year myself." she added.
As Shana hiccuped again, she said "Are you sure you are okay?" Maybe it would be wise for Shana to give a quick visit to the hospital wing.. Then Meredith interrupted her own thoughts. -Right, for a hiccup.. like I've never had one before. I'm worying too much lately.
Distracted, she turned around and looked at all commotion going on. This dada thing that was going on was causing most of the noise in the corridor, as people kept attacking each other.
"Well, I'd probably better go, look for my book -before someone sends a spell ment to jinx someone else at it.
It was nice meeting and talking to you!" she said, smiling again.
She really needed to find that book..
