Sakura quickly ducked and cast Petrificus Totalus. According to her text book it was a defensive spell. And according to the Professor they could use any defensive spell they knew...

Sakura was distracted for a moment and in that moment she was hit with the curse. Now it was on. Sakura quickly cast all the jinxes and hexes allowed at him in quick succession. She was a Slytherin and she wasn't going to fight fair.

That done she helped Jack to his feet and looking abashed said "I'm so sorry. I figured what with your advantage you would know what I was about to do."
