Reese took a few deep breaths to calm herself down before looking at Anna and Cale. She felt really bad that they both just saw the not-so-good side of her.She ran her fingers through her hair then said,"I'm sorry...you guys had to see that." For goodness sake, she almost hex that first year.See,that's what happened when Reese Selena Northway gets mad. |

"Don't worry about him--I'd never judge you guys over that little brat," he said to Kayla, gesturing in the direction that Jack had just run off in. Quote:

Emiliano walked around the corridors of the school, ready to go upstairs to get some of his books when he heard some arguing. He got a bit close to see who was at the little exchange of words. Two...wait, three prefects were around, and Reese and a fellow Ravenclaw boy, and some Hufflepuff kid he didn't know at all. The kid, first year he seemed was just throwing insults to the rest and had some anger management problems. "Hey guys..." He said, walking up to the crowd and waving his hand to everyone. |

"You know you scare him right? He almost had a panic attack in the Hospital Wing when he saw you. And that was before he even knew who you really were. He still doesn't remember anything though, although I did tell him that you've been trying to help him." She sighed and looked at the girl helplessly. Making her mind up about something Sakura finally turned and followed Jack. She had an inkling as to where he was heading. However she was in no rush and walked at a leisurely pace. |
"Well then I guess shows over" said Barry, he followed Sakura and told her "Tell Jack that I`m sorry" and then he rushed away. |

William walked up the stairs to the second floor corridor not really knowing why he was wandering around at this time of day, not when he was hungry. He meant to walk to the great hall or even to his secret stash of frogs he kept in that area but found himself there instead. Aw well didn't matter he thought walking along and stopping at a weird looking suit of armor. |
Jake edged along the second floor corridor, looking shiftily around him, all the while listening to the Mission Impossible theme track playing in his head. Dun-dun-duuuh-duuuuh-dun-dun-duuuuuh-duuuuh-*key change* Unfortunately for him, Jake's idea of acting all spy-like and observant, meant he missed things that were right at the end of his nose... figuratively speaking, that is. Duh-duh-duuuuuuun... dundun... Jake crept along stealthily, hold his wand in both hands with it pointing to the ceiling, but thinking vaguelly of pink colouring pencils. |
William took out his wand, his eyes looking over the armor in front of him, wondering what would happen if he poked it. He was all alone he thought smirking evilly as he leaned against the wall, twirling the wand in his hand. Where have all the flowers gone he hummed softly to himself, wishing he knew the flower spell so he could liven this corridor up some with fancy looking flowers surrounding the armor. Wouldn't the professors just love that he wondered grinning. |
Jake was suddenly roused from his inner musical geniosity (which had progressed onto the same recurring 3 notes in the Pink Panther tune) to hear some other tune. Why I oughta! But I won't... But I will! A BADGE!!!!! ALERT ALERT! Grinning as he aimed his wand for the boy, Jake cast the stinging hex towards him. "MORSUS!" he cried out, hoping it would hit his mark, and conveniently forgetting to put his own sheild charm up. ooc: morsus = a biting, bite, also, sting, pain (latin) |
William continued to hum happily, not knowing what was coming. A small part of his brain was screaming at him in Meanie Pants voice making him shudder. He heard a noise. Turning he looked up the corridor and didn't see anything, thinking it was perhaps a ghost. Shrugging he went back to staring at the armor again. Then he heard it. Someone shouting a spell. Before he could whirl around and try to cast the shield charm to protect him he got hit with it. A stinging sensation started in his stomach and he groaned. "Ow!" he cried out turning to see a Hufflepuff boy holding his wand out. Screwing up his might he raised his wand quickly, shouting the Bat-Boogey Hex back at the boy before quickly putting up his shield, which quickly fizzed out. "Oh man." he muttered, rubbing his stomach. |
Elizabeth came out into the corridor to see two firsties battling, and heard the little Ravenclaw exclaim in pain. Darting around a corner, she glanced over again to see a well-cast Bat-Bogey Hex, but still felt the need to jump in, as someone older. She didn't like seeing people hurt. Even if it was part of DADA. Reaching around the corner with one hand, she cast a Jelly-Legs Jinx at the Huffie, figuring at least one spell should hit. Then she quickly, non-verbally, cast again. Protego! She then tried to spread her shield out enough to cover the Ravie as well, since it looked like his own shield had fizzled out. |
Jake cracked up laughing for a second. He hadn't encountered too many Ravenclaws, but they always had him laughing. "Hmmm... whaa... NUUUUU!!!!! NOT THE FACE!" Jake cried, forgetting his limited magical ability and turning to run. "It's the money-maker!" Remembering suddenly, Jake aimed his wand over his shoulder, "Pr-" He only got so far into his sheild charm, before the hex hit him. His least favourite curse. "ACK!" he gagged, feeling the horrible flapping things on his face. Looking up, Jake sent back his attempt at that jinx which made people lose their fingers. Finger-removing jinx or something. Pfft, the most it would do would be to trim the fingernails if I cast it... and I did... because I just heard me... "Protego!" Jake remembered this time, not sure if it would hold up. Aaaaaaaaaand maybe not... it was soon shattered by the Ravvie, but the jinx didn't quite... oh yes, it did. Jake threw hmself on the floor as he rebuilt his sheild and tried to crawl to shelter using only his hands. As he moved he cast a quick "MORSUS!" at this new girl. And Jake had found his favourite spell. Mwahahaha... ooc: see a few posts back for the morsus definition |
William didn't know where the spell came from but soon he saw a spell come shooting out of the bend in the corridor followed by a shield. Breathing a sigh of relief and wishing he could thank the person who had basically saved him he looked back at the huffie. He laughed gleefully as his spell hit, the flying things dancing in the boys face. His stomach didn't hurt anymore and he watched as the next spell came hurling at him. Luckily the spell the mysterious person set up blocked it and he sighed, having a feeling it would have been bad. Now he wasn't so scared anymore, now he knew he could handle himself. All he needed was a powerful one. Which one could he use? Oh right! He jabbed his wand at the huffie, his voice almost a road as he shouted the Hurling Hex at the boy, hoping it would hit. Even though it was meant from brooms, hopefully it had the same effect on humans. |

"Hey,"she said.It was probably obvious she was still angry. The tone of her voice showed it. |
hehe Zoe and Ari Elizabeth watched as her shield blocked the spell the Huffie had shot at her housemate, then the boy's reaction. Smiling a little, she contemplated staying in hiding, but saw the hex flying at the corner. So hiding wasn't worth it. Not if she was still going to have spells coming at her. Stepping around the corner, feeling a little like she was putting herself out in the open, she watched as her shield blocked the stinging hex too. Then, as she saw the Ravie boy cast a Hurling Hex, she thought quickly. Even if that hit, there was no way of knowing if it would do anything. So she quickly waved her wand again, casting a Canary Transfiguration Hex and watched it speed after the Hurling hex at the Huffie boy. Then she quickly recast her Shield Charm, not wanting to remain unprotected for long. |
thats right... i suggest you feel bad... Finally, Jake heard the words of the Hurling Hex. He knew what effect that had on brooms, and he knew he didn't want it affecting his own tiny little body. Instead of attempting the sheild charm Jake directed two knee-reversal hexes towards the Ravenclaws before bracing himself. "Y'AARRGGHHACK!!!!!" he cried out, as the hex hit and hurled him around the corridor, slamming him against walls and suits of armour and portraits. "ACK! ACK! ACK! ACK! YEEEOWWWACK!!!!!" And then, Jake slumped to the floor. It was over. One last hex flew his way, but hit the wall behind him considerably high up. Had Jake been standing, it would have hit. "Owwwcch..." he moaned. Nothing seemed broken, but Jake couldn't be sure. He moved his arms and legs and head, but nope, all was in order. He just... hurt. Ravenclaws were so evil! He thought, inconspicuously gripping his wand a little tighter. |
Mah Zoe and kristin (was hoping you'd use that spell lol) William felt like hiding behind the suit of armor as the spells kept flying. It was getting intense, too intense for him. He turned his head as a fellow raven came out from behind the bend in the corridor and he smiled his thanks to her before turning back, the shield charm still working. The saw the spell fizzle out seconds before the hex hit him and he landed on the ground groaning in agony as his knees went to the opposite side of his legs. "Ow, ow, ow ow!" He screamed, crying out as pain washed over him. This wasn't good, no wonder he had been told not to do this spell. Rolling onto his stomach and wincing slightly he watched the other hex, what he could only assume was another knee reversing hex sailed towards his housemate. Miss her, please miss her he thought hopefully as he reached for his wand. Tears sprang to his eyes as he saw the little huffie slumped against the wall. "I'm so so so sorry." he whimpered, tears on his cheeks as he tried to stand, falling quickly. "I didn't know what that spell would do, are you okay??" he exclaimed sadly, hoping he wouldn't get into trouble. |
Zoe and Ari *huggles* Elizabeth flinched a little as one of the hexes the Huffie had sent before getting throuwn around the corridor hit her housemate, but seconds later, she was relieved when her hastily put up shield blocked at least most of the hex sent at her. Managing to dodge the weakened spell, her shield charm fell as she went over to her housemate. Kneeling down, she cast a quick finite incantatem and watched as his knees went back to normal. Helping him sit up carefully, she said, "Are you okay?" Then she glanced at the Huffie slumped against the opposite wall. "Maybe I should check on him too," she wondered aloud, before standing up to go over. Casting another nonverbal shield charm as she got closer, not wanting to hadge her bets, she stopped a few feet from the boy. "You going to survive?," she asked. "Or do you think you're going to need the nurse?" She wasn't going to get close enough to determine how hurt he was, not when she could see the grip he had on his wand. |
Ana walked through the corridor when she saw one Hufflepuff against 2 Revanclaws. One of them much older than the others. She pulled out her wand and walked to her classmate. He seemed a little bad. Grabbing her wand she shouted the Jelly-Legs Jinx twice and the second right after she cast a shield "Protego!" and she maintain it trying to protect both while he recovered. |
William whimpered, his hands moving to his knees- or what used to be his knees - until the Ravenclaw girl came up and stopped the spell. He nodded smiling a bit as the pain stopped his knees going back to normal before shaking his head and wiping his tears off his face. "I'm ... okay I think." He replied, "I didn't mean to hurt him ... I thought he'd block it." he said quickly looking over to the boy slumped on the wall. He stood shakily, his legs wobbly but seemingly strong and walked with her the short distance, his wand held firmly in his hand. Casting the shielding charm on him, and glad that finally it managed to stay strong he looked down at the boy and sniffed once more. "I'm sorry man, seriously." he said shakily, trying to be strong. |

Jake groaned a little. "Stupid sheild charms..." he mumbled, stretching out. "Y'ahhhhh! That'll be a bruise in the morning..." he muttered. "I'm fine... no hospital wing..." Jake was a tad disappointed. He'd hoped to surprise them again, but the sixth year's sheild charm would have been way too strong. One day... "You win?" he asked pushing himself away from the wall and blinking a few times so he wasn't seeing stars. |
