Freya nodded to the girl, "I suppose when you don't have much concern, life is a lot more enjoyable. But I like to know what's going on. Not brush it aside like others seem to prefer doing. I don't want to get bit in the back when something decides to strike."
She popped another grape into her mouth. "I agree, that mirror has done something, just what that may be I'm not sure. I looked into it and barely saw anything, just a bunch of blurrs, but at least I'm still acting normal." Aside from giving out gifts like Mrs. Claus...right, that.

When the door appeared to Krissy she was more than a little taken aback. Taking a deep breath she entered the room to see a wide range of students having a picnic...along with the boy she wanted to avoid. "`ello... looks like I've busted up a party. sorry then." She mumbled as she turned around to escape.

Quickly looking away from Krissy, Helios cleared his throat. "..to stay and have some food. It's good stuff." He said while motioning for her to join them on the spacious rug.

Take a deep breath, boy. No time for personal troubles when there was an entire school in danger.

She looked at her housemate. "That is very pessimistic," She commented, but she knew what the girl meant. "I would like to know what going on too. I mean a student died. Thats not something that you just gloss over and tell us to be brave. We should be arming ourselves or something." she told her. "I looked into the mirror too and I am perfectly normal. I'm not tripping out like some of the professors around here." She was sure Professor Lupa was going to get sacked for kissing a student any day now.

Elizabeth laughed as Paris tried to mock her about the orange. "I didn't want to eat it with the peel on it," she pointed out with a grin. It wasn't worth it to create more tension in here, when there was so much going on elsewhere in the school.

She continued to eat, after she decided there was no reason to waste the fruit in her hand, as the rest of them discussed what was going on, or their theories about it. But her ears pricked up as the mirror was mentioned. "What exactly is the deal with that mirror?," she asked suddenly. "I mean, I saw it and all, but Professor Forrester kicked me and Ludo out of the room before I could look in it. And nobody would explain what the deal was."

Krissy flushed crimson. She couldn't bare to be rude to anyone, let alone this young man. she may as well enjoy his friendship during their remaining time at Hogwarts. She was sure he felt silly and regretted the things he had admit those weeks ago in Hogsmede. He couldn't have meant them. Turning around slowly she placed a plastic smile on her face. "Ah, well thanks then." she mumbled as she walked to the rug and had a seat. Picking up a juicy orange she took a petal and sucked it gently between her lips. "And what are we talking about?" She asked trying to put herself at ease and ignore the palpitations of her heart.

"Pessimistic, but honest." Freya said as she picked up a banana and began to unpeel it. "I still can't believe that some of the professors thought it was an okay idea for us students to just leave the library. Right after a student died, there was no way I was just strolling out of there." She took a bite of the fruit she had just opened up and swallowed. "I'm just keeping my eyes and ears on the alert, and my wand always handy. Until the staff get their act together or we find out what's going on, I'm not relaxing."

Freya turned to the other girl, she looked familiar. "I have no idea what the deal is with it. Unless it was enchanted by an outside source or something, it seems pretty normal." Well, normal was a pretty vague word to use, but whatever. "It's the Mirror of Erised from what I've been told, shows the observer their deepest desire I think."'Unless the professors all desire to act like five year olds, something is definitely up.' She took another small bite of her fruit, having forgotten what stuff like this tasted like; surviving mainly on a diet of meat and potatoes was fun, but it made fruit taste much better.

As the Slytherin girl tried to answer her question, Elizabeth looked over from her seat on the rug. It seemed there was another person who thought she looked familiar, so she tried to help out. Smiling, she said, "I'm Elizabeth, by the way. And thank you for the explanation." She laughed a little. "Maybe that was why Ludo kept trying to get me to look in it. He wanted to know what my deepest desire was." She paused as the idea of the mirror affecting the professors came up again, then nodded. "Perhaps somebody did something to the mirror, before it showed back up into the castle. I mean, everyone seemed like they couldn't figure out why it had reappeared. Maybe whoever's behind all this cast a spell on it, that influences adults, but not us students."

Freya's pale eyes darted over to the new arrival before focusing on Elizabeth again. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Elizabeth, I'm Freya." She finished off the last of her banana and tossed the peel into the fireplace, watching as it burned slowly. "I managed to look in it. But everything was really fogged up, I couldn't make much of anything." Freya nodded in agreement, "That's what I was thinking, since only the professors seem to have been affected by it. I just can't help but wonder if there is something else that we haven't realized." There was always that 'but' or 'if' that bothered Freya.

She shook her head. "No I meant I've just never seen anyone peel an orange so perfectly." She giggled. It did almost make her want an orange, but she hated oranges. "I don't know. Anna looked into it and she almost cried and I had to slap her because she got so upset." She explained, but then she felt bad about slapping her.

She had to do the extra part of her charms homework. She pulled out the posted from her bag and unrolled it. She held it up to the wall with one arm and she pulled her wand out of its holster with the other. She took a deep breath and pointed her wand at the top corner of the poster. "Adhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaeeerrrooooooo" She said as she traced the entire outline of the big poster. She was out of breath by the time she finished and she stood back huffing and catching her breath to make sure she had done it right. "Looking good," she said with a smile.



She nodded. "Yeah thats true." She commented. She didn't know what happened or the aftermath as she wasn't there and she had gotten sick right after that and didn't have a chance to gossip with anyone to figure anything out. "Well the professors are all acting funny so maybe they weren't in their right minds when this all happened and didn't use their best judgment when it happened." She offered.

Helios took a moment to stop and think, watching the flaming Pegasus circle his dish. "Death and desire. The teachers losing their wits. Who benefits?" Those sky blue eyes scanned the room. He did not like mysteries, but loved solving them.

"How are they all connected? What could be the end goal? Is this only the beginning?" So many questions, so few answers. Curiosity killed the cat, but he was a different kind of animal. This plot, like his goblet, he would get to the bottom of.

The real question was: Who was with him?

Umm..this's the place that Ella thought she could find her friend Paris. She had been here before with Jack. She knew about this pretty confidential and dark place. She walked in silence inside the bit dark room as she heard multiple voices, hushes. She patted her robes pocked once again to make sure she had the gift safely. "Paris!!" she called out, hoping to get reply from her if she was there.

Paris whirled around at the sound of the voice. She could pick that voice out of a crowd. "Ella!" She squealed running over to her bestie and jumping on her knocking them both to the ground. "Oh sorry," She giggled. She hadn't seen her in weeks. "I'm just excited to see you." She said as she stood up pulling Ella with her.

Ella was lucky, she got immediate reply from Paris..but..oh..my hypernated girl. She found herself on the ground as Paris was on top of her. "Hey.." she laughed, and gently punched on her shoulder, "I know, i should have been lil careful.." she winked and got her feets back. "Hey, guess what I've got for you?" asked, pulled her friend to the corner of the room.

Agie grinned at her bestie and pushed open the door. With a loud gasp, she said, "It's beautiful! ...As always, of course." She added with a shifty look, running over and jumping on the comfy chairs. She was happy, because it was finally her and Lyra time. And it seemed like they hadn't had Lyra and Agie time in forever!

"Soooo." She smirked, searching through the food until she found some CHOCOLATEEEEEE. "Shall we plot?"

Lyra walked in, just as she pictured it. She followed Agie at a run and jumped on the other comfy chair just as she did. "STRAWBERRIESSSSSS," she said with a BRIGHT smile as PINK and STRAWBERRIES were her favorite.

And for the question...."We definitely need to plot," she began as she took a bite of strawberry. "You know, with cleaning the pigs of Professor Morgan's placey thingy..." she paused as she looked to her bestie to see if she understood. Of course she understood, it was her BFF!

She giggled. She hadn't seen her friend since forever and she had been missing her. She almost tripped over as Ella pulled her over to a corner. She was excited to see what she had. "Um is it the answers to the Arthimancy homework by any chance?" she asked with a smirk. She was going to be burning the midnight oil in the library again about that stuff.

Agie eyed Lyra's Strawberries. Mmmmmm, they looked yummy. She grabbed a handful and shoved some strawberries and chocolate in her mouth.

She nodded to the plotting as she tried to chew the large amounts of food in her mouth. But then Lyra said something that made her quickly swallow it. Ouch! Her eyes were a little watery but her smile was shifty as ever. "It would be a shame to not clean out the pigs. I don't think professor Morgan would like that." She smirked, loving the way her bestie thought. Just like her!

Lyra's eyes widened but then she thought for a moment as it was just Agie. She didn't mind sharing her strawberries at all with her bestie. "And you know, Ms. Brandywine," Lyra began in her best MALE voice. "Respect! It is alll about respect!" She rolled her eyes and began to giggle.

"I agree! It is all about respect but you have to give it to receive it and after all his little stunts, he deserves NO respect...at the moment." She smiled an evil smile as she ate another strawberry.

"Aw..you silly.." Ella..laughed again, "It's not related to any school stuffs," she pulled out a nice gift box from her robes pocket, placed it gently on Paris's palm. "I know..i'm bit late.." she pulled her friend into a tight hug, said, "Happy Birthday Paris!!" she cooed as she planted a nice kiss on her cheek. "Now..go..unwrap your gift.." she winked, waiting for her friend's reaction.

She looked at the box in her hand totally shocked that Ella had gotten her something. She hugged Ella back. "You didn't have to get me anything," She said trying to hold in the tears a bit. She was so touched. She nodded to hold back the tears as she opened the box. It was a necklace with a pendent, it was green and it looked like a tiny dragon egg. Paris was touched beyond words as her eyes glistened with tears. "Its so beautiful Ella." she chocked out as she hugged her friend tightly again. "This means so much to me." Never before had a friend gotten her a gift. most of her friends just came to her party and had a good time but they never got her gifts and she never really expected one. She had expensive tastes and none of her friends had the sort of money she did, but this gift from Ella was so personal. It was tiny green dragon egg on a necklace. It combined two of her favorite things, dragons and jewelry.

Ella was watching her, with a smile and satisfaction on her face. Paris liked her gift. She looked extremely happy that's important and a prime thing and emotional too. She hugged back her friend, "I wanted to..Paris, you're my best friend,and I'm glad you like the gift, I'm so happy now.." she said softly, as she took the necklace from her hand, "Can I fix this to your neck? Or..you have someone special to do that?" she was started teasing her, knowing that Paris wouldn't take it wrong.

It could not be denied: Myrtle had thee best timing in the school. She also had gorgeous pigtails and a bubbly voice and several other not-so-positive character traits that we shall not mention here because Myrtle is always the best.

She also had a nose for gossip and thus she had followed her nose (and a note from some Hufflepuff) right into the Room of Requirement.

Myrtle chose to stay hidden in the shadows, observing the students wondering about a mysterious plot and giggling at their cluelessness regarding the mirror. And then the boy started asking questions.

"Teeeeeheheee you have no idea," Myrtle cackled, popping out into the light and swooping through all the picnic food arranged in the room. She backtracked and made another run-through of the food and then floated through each of the students gathered there. At least now all the food would taste like the sewage pipes she had been flooding earlier that afternoon. And maybe the sneaky students would feel guilty for not inviting her sooner AND for having food without her permission.

Paris honestly did love her gift. She was going to have to go home and show her mom. Her mom would get all mushy on her about it but for once she wouldn't care. "You're my best friend too Ella and now we have jewelry to prove it." she smiled. "Thank you so much for this. I will treasure this always." She told her. She would have to think long and hard to get Ella a equally significant gift. She giggled and a deep blush creeped up her face. "I have a special someone if you must know." she said to her. "And he so happens to be a fellow Slytherin and a fourth year," she giggled.

"Myrtle!" The boy prince snapped, obviously startled by her sudden presence.

"Myrtle, sweet, beautiful Myrtle. Do you have something interesting to say? Let's trade secrets." Helios said smoothly, locking eyes on the pig tailed apparition. Since she was dead it wouldn't hurt to kill her with kindness, right?

"Everyone has been dieing to hear from the guest of honor." Though his hair was golden, the Greek had a silver tongue.
