Amy’s expression turned from relaxed and joking to series in the matter of a few words. She looked at Jake with somber eyes. “Please don’t ever say that,” she almost whispered. She gave a half hearted smile when he mentioned she would be cheering for Slytherin. She shook her head lightly in response, “No I wouldn’t silly boy. I would be cheering for you.”

Still with her guard up and the forged smile placed on her face she gave a small sigh. “I miss it as well, but Jake do you really think we should go now,” she asked while dragging out the last word slightly.

Jake stop smiling, he knew he said something to upset her and he felt awful, he sighed while running a hand through his already messy hair, he wasnt sure exactly what he said that got her that way but it still bothered him that he did "Im sorry Amy, I didnt mean to make you upset, I was only playing around" He looked at her smile, knowing that it was just put there, but not ment "thanks, I think I would like that better then you cheering for the whole team"

Jake still notice that her smile wasnt really a happy one and he felt even worse, he really must have put his foot in his mouth to have gotten her like that. A picture of his home and family popped up in his mind and he shook to clear it ugh Im being stupid, I wouldnt lead to that he said to himself feeling all the presure of his home coming back. "ummm I didnt mean now just soon" he said. He sighed "Im sorry Amy" he looked at her and gave her a small smile.

Amy was somewhat taken back by Jakes’apologies. Wow does my bogus smile look that noticeable, she found herself thinking. She shook herself mentally trying to push off the mood that gloomed over. Then as quickly as it had came it was gone.

She raised a single finger to Jakes lips. “Shhhh,” she said gently. “Really its okay forget about it,” she said producing a genuine smile. “I am just –she faltered mid sentence- umm well.” She shrugged as she waved her hands around for a brief moment, “A little unstable…no that’s not a good word, it makes me sound crazy…ummm….well you know what I mean right.” She looked at Jake hoping that he did not think she was as crazy as she herself felt she was.

Jake felt better when he saw that Amy smile, telling him to stop. He put it in the back of his mind not really forgotten but gone for now.

Jake couldnt help but chuckle at Amy's explaination. He grabbed her hands in his stopping them from waving around. "I dont think your unstable, I think that maybe you just a bit sensitive because of everything, and your are not crazy" he thought for a second, before giving her a goofy grin "well maybe a bit, but just because your with a slytherin, and that alone is crazy" he laughed hopping that he wouldnt make her upset saying that "Im just teasing, I understand dont worry about it, but still sorry" he said rubbing her palms with his thumbs.

Amy felt her shoulders slum slightly shortly after Jake had grabbed her hands, which had made her feel relaxed. She gave a small sigh and nodded her head. “Yes I will have to agree being with a Sly is slightly crazy, but you know me, have to have a little excitement in my life.”

Amy fought the urge to place her finger back on Jakes lip, but did not want to move them from their resting spot inside of his. Instead she glanced from their hands up to Jakes eyes. “I know you are sorry and please don’t be, I just – she stopped looking around- you know what…I think it is time we move our conversation out side.” An ecstatic smiled appeared as she laced their hands and pulled him up to follow her out of the Great Hall.

Jake laughed "well thats what Im here for" he gave her a smile. He was listing to her talk when all of sudden he felt her pull him up and out of the table. Following her out of the Great Hall. "so where are we heading?" he ask her

Rian raised an eyebrow when Plymouth started waving a straw around in the air. "I shall call you Mouth then," she told him with a nod. She would rather have called him Plymm or Ply, though, just to irritate him.

She almost chocked on her drink at the name Mouth thought of for Copernicus. "Bum?" she repeated, laughing. She shook her head, grinning. Well, it was the opposite of Mouth...

"I believe the deal was that we'd let the girls decide," Copernicus said, his face gone all solemn and slightly disapproving again. He turned his head to Rian and Liz and mouthed the words 'please please not bum!' before pointing at the departing students. "Plymouth, old chap. I think it's time we explored our new home."

Giving a smile to Copernicus, Liz agrees "No we won't call you bum." Not managing to keep the blush from coming back, however.

"We should probably head up to the dorm. Do you know the way?" Liz asks.

"Righty-O, Bum. If the outside of this beast is any indication of how magnificent this place is - then count me in for some exploring." Plymouth got up and snatched an apple for later. Then, he gave each of the girls a bow in turn. "Pleasure to see you all again, and to meet some of you. I do look forward to our next meet and greet. Good day, ladies!" Plymouth clapped Copernicus on the back and lead him out of the Great Hall.

Rian nodded to Copernicus. "No Bum." she mouthed back, grinning. She sighed quietly, thinking that she should be leaving soon. "Yeah," she said, agreeing with Liz. "I need to get going too." she looked to Jenn, wondering if she'd be coming too. She was startled at Plymouth's bow, but it didn't show for long. "See you around?" she asked the two boys, knowing that she'd see Liz, Livvy, and Jenn.

Juniper squeaked in surprise as the little arms of her friend wrapped around her. “Melly! There you are,” she stated bluntly. She smiled gleefully as Melly proceeded to greet Issy. She opened her mouth to ask where the little girl had been all through the feast… and yawned instead. And really, she had a perfectly good excuse. It had been a long day, especially with her and Issy’s reunion and all. She deserved a good yawn every now and again.

“I’ve been swell,” Juniper chirped at Melly just before stifling another yawn. Alright… maybe she deserved two good yawns every now and again.

Melly chuckled at the squeak that escaped her friend's lips. She would have never thought someone as tiny as she could scare anyone, especially Juni who was bound to be used to be suddenly 'attacked' by one of her pets. Still, she couldn't ignore the fact that, Merlin knows why, elephants are scared of mice. Hmm... Did that make her a mouse? Well, if it did, then that was good. Mice had helped Cinderella.

Grinning at her friend, her smile vanished the moment Juni yawned. Twice. Oh dear, was it that late? Looking around quickly, she noticed how people were walking out of their seats and of the Great Hall. Uh oh. It looked like someone had spent far too long contemplating the cracks on the walls to actually notice the seconds ticking by. As far as she knew, it could be close to curfew by then!

"Maybe we should go," She bit her lip as she spoke to her friends. She didn't want Juni to collapse, after all.

"We don't know the way, but that's the adventure," Copernicus rose and gave them each a bow as well. "I look forward to seeing you all again, which will probably be whenever Plymouth and I admit defeat and ask for directions from the nearest equally lost student. Good evening to you lovely ladies." He followed Plymouth from the room.

Robert tilted his head on his arms to look at Elizabeth as she apologized, "It's fine. I just needed a distraction and that was the easiest to pick up." He sighed and rested his head against his arms again feeling a headache starting.

As he barely heard Elizabeth say she was leaving and felt her leave he looked up and said, "I'm leaving too. I'll see you later Ludo." Without even acknowledging Mariska he stood up and headed out of the Great Hall.

Mariska was still waiting for Ludo's response when she heard Robert suddenly speak to Ludo but not her. She looked at him with another indignant expression and then she stood up. " Ludo, I've got to go...go..deal with something." She said, and then she stood up following Robert out into the hall, determined to ask him just what in the world he thought he was doing.

Issy had been out of it. How she got out of it, she wasn't sure, because Juni and Becca were right there with her, but somehow, she slid out of focus, listening to the buzz of a gazillion of conversations around her, the scent of the foods going to her head. In a daze, she nibbled on cornish game hen and mashed potatoes with rich gravy, rolls that were soaked with melted butter, green beans with the slightest hint of spice.

It was when a small voice and a hug appeared that she jumped out of her daze.

"Melly!" she squeaked, wrapping her arms around her friend. Where had she been this whole time?! "There you are!" A squeal was emitted and she hugged the small girl tighter. It was good they were both so tiny.

Glancing over at Juni, Issy watched as her friend yawned. Twice. And she couldn't help yawning herself, feeling the contagious pull of that evil yawn. Covering my mouth, she tried to turn away so no one would see that she, too, was not immune to the evil that was a yawn. She didn't even feel tired!
