"My cousin told me about a few, Charms and Transfigurtion were her favorites. I don't know if I'd like those though. I'm looking forward to Astronomy, I love looking up at the stars at night. It has a romantic quality to it you know?" he replied, looking around, wondering if any girls' in the vicinity had heard that. That was all he needed right now. He took another bite, feeling as though he was slowly starting to enjoy his time.

Livvy laughed and gave Jenn a big fat hug. "Oh gosh.. you won't believe how much I've missed you girl. And yes, you look really different. I almost didn't recognize you there. Either that or I just haven't seen you for so long that your image has begun to fade in my mind. Either way. Hi! How have you been?" she said this all in one breath.

"Oh Kris is my brother. It's short for Kristofer. He's a right pain if you ask me, but it's only because he's my brother."

She smiled as she was talking about Kris being a pain. Copernicus knew about siblings being a pain, seeing as how he had Plymouth for a brother. They were both really nice, even though Plymouth annoyed Copernicus to death.

Speak of the devil! Well, thought of the devil. Plymouth come strutting down the isle and began to pester Copernicus already. She smiled and turned away as he gave Copernicus a noogie, and then back up at him, brushing her bangs out of her eyes.

"Well good evening there."

Chris then sat down next to Jenn. "Umm ok I guess." He told Jenn. "You?" He asked.

Jenn laughed and hugged Liv tightly. "Maybe that's the reason. Oh wow. You don't know how much I have missed you!!"she said, grinning happily at Liv. "I've been doing great. How has life been treating you?"she asked, giggling.

She shrugged. "I guess o.k. too."she said, smiling. "What horseless carraige did you ride in? Mine for some reason had leaves all in it! And it smelled."she complained playfully.

"I guess I did," Copernicus actually smiled, although it was very short-lived as he was immediately pounced upon by his step-brother.

Plymouth finally found Copernicus and marked the occasion by giving Copernicus's head a good noogie. "Hey Step Brother. You miss me? "It was too good to be true," Copernicus shooed Plymouth off of his hair. As he struggled to straighten his hair, he had to quirk a grin at Plymouth's energy. He was going to lose all his new almost-friends. "Have you met Karma, Liz, and Rian?"

"I believe I have met Miss Karma in Diagon Alley, I do believe so, yes," Plymouth nodded and then leaned around Copernicus to check out the other girls. "Hey girls. Nice to meet you both as well. Copernicus been keeping you all entertained, no doubt?" Plymouth grinned proudly and then leaned into Copernicus, "This place is huge, right?"

Livvy grinned and shrugged. "Same old same old. It likes to tease me. But I get bananas," she said, knowing that the bananas part didn't quite make sense. "So why so sad?" Livvy asked, tilting her head.

She smiled at the guy that came over. "Hi," she said, nodding her head in acknowledgement. His name was like... Chris? Or something.

Chris chuckled. "Umm I don't know. One of them, it was fine." He told Jenn.

Chris looked over at the other girl. "Hi. I am Chris." He told her.

Karma smiled and nodded at Plymouth. He had a memory like she did, and then she didn't feel as awkward if she mentioned their encounter there.

Even if Copernicus was scared of her then, and seemingly a good friend now.

"Yes, it was Diagon Alley. Leaky Cauldron? I do believe I said you were bickering like an old married couple."

Sean looked up and saw that ravenclaw had joined in the points loosing, and was winning, well loosing.. He had no idea what was going on but he didn't like it. He frowned but tried not to let anyone else see his frustration. He knew everyone would have to really try this term to just to catch up.

"Did you see the CEILING?" Copernicus let himself get caught up in the enthusiasm. "Candles floating too..." He grinned.

"And now you can see that we merely interact with each other in this way all the time," Copernicus lost most of the grin and tried to give her a solemn nod.

Jenn raised an eyebrow then laughed. "Bananas? Where did you go over break?"she asked, playfully. She shrugged. "Well, it's just, Sarah and Mariel haven't talked to me in like....well eons!"she said, sighing. "I don't know if we just well....fell apart....or if I did something wrong."she said, shrugging. "I have you atleast."she remarked, grinning.

She rolled her eyes. "Well aren't you lucky."she said sarcastically. "Already Hogwarts is trying to kill me...and without your help yet too!"she said, sighing dramatically.

"Oh right!" Plymouth giggled delightedly at Karma's recollection. "I do remember you for certain now. Wouldn't know the difference between love and bickering if it bit you on the bum, Karma." Plymouth grinned and put his arm around Copernicus's shoulder to look up with him.

Livvy smiled. "Nice to meet you Chris. I'm Livvy," she said. She complimented herself silently on how well her memory was.

Livvy raised her eyebrows back. "Bananas are everywhere, Jenn. You can't stop that now!" she said, snickering. "Oh... well they're probably just busy catching up. I mean.. Rachel and I were like THIS," she said, her two fingers crossed and showing Jenn. "And she's off doing prefect duties, ignoring me! Oh well," Livvy said, laughing and shrugged. "Geesh... say that with more excitement. Having me is an awesome thing!"

Karma watched Copernicus's amazement of the ceiling and floating candles. Sure, the ceiling thing was cool. But candles?

She made a mental note to herself to think of a nickname for him. Or to just shorten it when she spoke in a hurry.

"Yeah, uh huh, I see that smile there still."

Karma laughed when Plymouth began to talk about love biting her on the butt. Oh, how many remarks she had for that one. At least he remembered her, and she grinned.

"Oh believe me, I'd rather it not. I'm glad you remembered me, because someone else over here didn't."

Rian smirked back at Liz, then set her fork on on her plate. For some reason, she wasn't too hungry anymore. Maybe it was all the chocolate frogs she had eaten - and was going to eat - or maybe she was having too much fun.

When another boy walked over to them and messed up Copernicus' hair, called him 'step brother', and started talking about how great Hogwarts was, Rian grinned. She waved to the boy. "I'm Rian," she said cheerfully.

"Yes I am very lucky." Chris said also sarcastically. "Oh so it seems I am not the only one planning your death." He said teasing Jenn.

"Nice to met you too." He told Livvy.

She rolled her eyes. "Ok, ok. So banana's are after you now?"she asked, trying to get all of it straight. She had to admit. Liv had a point. They where probably just to busy doing stuff and such. But still....."Your right. That's probably all it is. Wait! Did you say Rachel is a prefect!? Wow.....when did that happen?"she asked, more to herself than anything. She giggled. "O.k. Want me to say it again? I shall! AT LEAST I HAVE YOU! Is that better?"she asked, taking a deep breath after just yelling that at the top of her lungs. She giggled. "You better not make me do that again."

She rolled her eyes, then raised her eyebrow. "Hmm. Seems I shall have to watch my back, and books from now on."she said, looking around like someone was about to pop out of no where and say 'BOO!' Of coarse, that wouldn't really be a big surprise, saying there are ghost in the school.

"Really, Morgan," Copernicus shook his head. "That is an entirely inappropriate way to address a lady."

Copernicus did smile at being called out, but he put out a hand to interject. "I remembered you, Miss Karma. I had trouble with your name, but I thought I'd already been forgiven for that. If you're just going to hold it against me, though..."

Karma smiled and rolled her eyes as he began to speak. She was kidding, and he better know that. She's not the one to get offended by that sort of thing. She knew that if you were a new boy, you would be flocked by new females IMMEDIATELY. She nudged him in the side when he held out his hand to begin speaking again.

"Oh come now Copernicus, I'm only joking. I'm not one to get mad easily. OR hold a grudge."

"Umm it seems you should. Becuase something will happen when you least expect it." Chris told Jenn with a sly smiled.

She smiled. She glanced towards the point glasses and clicked her teeth. "Oh... geez... looks like we're not off to such a great start are we?" she asked chuckling.

Livvy snorted at what he said to Jenn. "Ooh.. I don't like that mischievous grin of his." She grinned.

Livvy snorted and rolled her eyes. "Bananas are my friends! Get it straight Jenn!" she said, with false annoyedness. Livvy sighed. "Now we can't go do trouble. That poor girl. She's constricted by the rules now. Oh well," she said, grinning. "That's better! Good job Jenn!" Livvy said, giving her a good pat on the back.

"Hellllooooo," Plymouth liberally checked out the new addition to his buddy list. "Rian. That's a pretty name for a pretty face. Pleasure to meet you."

And then Copernicus started being Copernicus again.

Plymouth snorted and removed his arm from his stepbrother. "Oh honestly. Let's take this one to the courts, the course of Karma and Rian. Was I out of line or is my dear brother too mannerly to be real?" Plymouth was laughing and playing though, nothing serious or meant to embarrass to Copernicus (though, it would probably embarrass him anyway).

Ever so slowly, Rachel finally arrived at the table and sat herself down not far from Livvy and Jenn, although she wasn't aware of it. Her face still scrunched up as a result of her pounding head, she poured herself a big glass of water and downed it in one gulp, almost immediately feeling dizzy. Take it slower, Rach; drink it too quickly and you'll vomit. Heeding her own words, she poured herself another glass and with shaking hands, brought to her mouth and sipped. Her face was white and there was a little sweat near her hairline; her fever was rising.
