She looked over the table at the Gryffindor ghost, then saw that the Grey Lady's body had gone half-way into the table itself. Rian shuddered delicately and tutned back to her food.

As Emiliano slowly walked in the Great Hall and sat down on the chair, he felt as if it was home. And it was, ever since he stepped in Hogwarts grounds, it was going to be his home until he graduated, and that made him really happy. He showed his radiant family smile and took an apple. Slowly, he took a bite and enjoyed it, really he did.

He took a deep breath and looked around. Anyone he must know?

Elizabeth looked around as she heard the Grey lady speak again, and then glanced in the direction she had indicated. "Oh. And then she craned her neck to see whoever or whatever else was being talked about by the elegant Ravenclaw ghost.

Raising an eyebrow at his comment, she dryly said, "Ony slightly crazy enough? Okay, maybe I haven't actually seen you telling off a seventh year. But I have seen you telling off a fifth year. Who is also a prefect. So you might want to rethink that theory." But then she grinned as he said she could tell him about musicals. "Sure. Anytime. Just find me and let me know." When he pointed out how she had been playing with her bread, she glanced at the table to find out he was right. Blushing faintly, she said, "I ate some of it. And I don't know that I was really thinking about anything in particular. Just passing time."

Daphne was looking in front of her at the Gryffindor table and their ghost. She hadn't seen any ghosts around the castle, but now it seemed they had returned. Their presence made her slightly uneasy, they were dead after all, but she tried to adjust to it. Suddenly her view was obscured by a boy, who sat down directly across from her.

Realising she was gawking like an idiot, she quickly said "Hi there!" Trying to make some conversation, she looked around for a starter. "You apple looks good," she said, trying to ignore her own rumbling stomach. She was holding off of food until the feast started properly.

She stopped speaking until their exchange was done, and then realized that he had been talking about the assassination of France's Minister. She remembered Kris telling her about that, but she wasn't exactly sure of the details.

"Bless my soul! It's little Valon!" she exclaimed and floated on top of the table. "Dearest Ravenclaws, please excuse me while I greet an old friend." There was an icy chill as she passed over the table on her way to the dias where the Staff was seated.

He ate the part that was still in his mouth and spoke: "Yeah, it's really good, actually, I didn't have the chance to eat at the train, so it must be the hunger that makes me enjoy food so much now..." He said and laughed.

"So...I'm Emiliano...fifth year...and you are?" He introduced himself, showing off that smile.

She had also missed her best friend, and even though Willow was not the first person she had remembered she wanted to see, Ellie had missed her , and her incredibly sarcasm and drama: that Willow always let know how disliked it much. Haha Willow could keep saying that for the rest of her days, Ellie knew she loved drama.

Her arms folded across her chest in a self-confident way and a smirk was on her lips as she passed by the Hufflepuff table.
Merlin knew she was happy to be back to Hogwarts. Summer holidays were suffocating to Ellie. Having the spend most of the time with her twin sister was the worst thing someone could do the her.
Well, not the worst, but still.. it was pretty awful.
She wanted Quidditch tryouts to start and oddly, she also wanted certain classes to try. It seemed that this year she was feeling more competitive and determinate than she could ever remember.
But that competitively and determination would eventually start fading with the passing of the months.

“Willow ? Willloooowwww!” The brunette called, looking from side to side for her friend, but no one answered back.
The brunette raised an eyebrow inwardly, and then started to walk around the Ravenclaw table, calling her friend’s name a couple more times.
But there was no Willow in sight.
Still with her arms crossed, Ellie stopped walking as she felt her patience vanishing. “KOVAC!” Ellie called again, this time, louder..
Maaayybe a little bit to loud, since her heard her voice standing out from all the others. But to be perfectly hones, she didn’t quite care, right at that moment, she just wanted to ask Willow if she had turned deaf during the summer vacations.

Some Slytherin girl coming all the way from her table to cause what seemed to be trouble, a food fight that could potentially cost them points so early in the term, one of her best friends having a potato on her robes because of the ridiculous food fight, a ghost scolding the chaos creators. . . Willow registered none of this thing, for the fifteen year old had grown distracted since the moment she took seat in the long Ravenclaw table.

Of course, the girl quickly snapped back to reality as soon as she spotted the man who seemed to be the Headmaster stand up and deliver the usual speech.

Playing absentmindedly with one lock of hair, and turning her slightly so she could look at the new Headmaster, for the first time –and thanks to his speech—Willow realized that Professor Lainey and Professor Rae were not the only professors missing. Clark, Brooks, Hawkins, Myers and Erikson… they were all gone, too.

Giving the new professors a quick look, and thinking that one of them probably look a little too old for teaching and that the little flourished movement Bontecau had done after finishing up his speech had looked utterly ridiculous, the young Ravenclaw immediately focused on the food that overflowed the table, and just when she was about to help herself with some mashed potatoes, roast and pumpkin juice, a very familiar voice called her name repeatedly, before apparently losing her patience and shout her surname.

Naturally, Willow did not have to look up to see who was the one addressing to her in such a loud way, for after five long years of having to deal with her best friend, Willow could very easily recognize Eleanor Bluebell’s voice. And sure enough, the moment the brunette looked up from her still empty plate, Eleanor’s brown and wavy hair caught her attention at once.

Shaking her head at the girl’s poor display of manners in front of the entire Ravenclaw table, Willow rolled her forest green eyes and stood up swiftly from her seat before making her way to where best friend was still standing and calling her. "Stop being so loud, Bluebell," murmured Willow with a roll of her eyes as she used her friend's surname, before continuing, "We are not eleven-years-old anymore, remember?” Grabbing the girl's arm, Willow started to make her way back to the place where she'd been sitting just moments before, dragging Ellie with her. "Sit," she commanded, gesturing the seat in front of hers, before taking seat once again.

“Honestly, Eleanor. Have you considered the possibility of learning manners? Because you really need them,” mused Willow casually.

"Actually," Copernicus laughed nervously. "We had to leave in a hurry. We lived at the embassy and I didn't even have time to pack my own bag. I'm hoping the elves will send me my personal belongings soon."

Sara sat down at her house table, looking around and taking it all in. She was finally at Hogwarts. A place she had heard about every since she found out she was witch but she never had the opportunity to attend herself. Now she was here, she couldn't believe her eyes. Everything was just like she imagined it would be. All the students seemed to having a good time, maybe a little too good of a time with the food fight, but that's to be expected.

Now seeing the ghosts was a nice a surprise. She heard there weren't any ghosts at the school. I wonder what they're going here, she thought. This seem to be like it's going to be an interesting year.

She noticed the rather rude girl from the train on the other side of the table but decided not to cross her just yet, after all, she was older and already established at the school. If she wanted to have a good year, her instinct was to not cross her.

So instead, she just stayed silent, enjoying the delicious food.

He passed the roast potatoes over to him and nodded, "Sure go ahead. They're fantastic!" he said happily as he sipped his drink. The smell of roast touched his nose and he shivered, glancing over warily as the ghost in question left the table. "So, what class are you looking forward too the most?" He asked curiously.

"We're both 4th years," Liz replies indicating both Rian and herself." Liz says with a smile, her hair turning from a blonde to light pink, unrealizingly.

When the Grey Lady excused herself, Elizabeth found herself distractedly responding, like the ghost was a real, living, human being. "Certainly. It's always nice to go visit with old friends." She found herself wondering who exactly "little Valon" was, but since the Lady had gone toward the staff table, she figured it must have been one of the professors.

Seeing the wounded look that Elizabeth gave him, Robert instantly felt bad, "I didn't mean it like that...I was only teasing..." Hearing her words he ran his hand through his hair and sighed as he said quietly, "I'm sorry. I really was only joking."

He smiled and laughed to himself, "Well...nope I got nothing. Momentary lapse in judgment?" Seeing her grin again he grinned back glad that she was happy again. As she glanced down to her plate and blushed he smiled, "Ahh...lack of an appetite caused by boredom. Yea...don't think I've ever had that happen." He grinned and glanced toward Mariska who was talking to...Now where did he come from.

Rian about fell onto her plate when she was engulfed in a hug. "Hi Livvy!" she exclaimed happily. She scooted over slightly to make room next to her for Livvy. "Oh. Have you met Karma?" she asked. "And Coperb- Um, Copernicus?" she asked, blushing when she almost said his name wrong.

Miss Rian? Hmm. She'd never had a boy call her that. She dismissed it and nodded. "Liz and I are both fourth years," she told the boy. "And yep, I've met Karma," she said, smiling and waving once to the girl.

"Actually," Copernicus laughed nervously. "We had to leave in a hurry. We lived at the embassy and I didn't even have time to pack my own bag. I'm hoping the elves will send me my personal belongings soon."

She watched him talk to the other girls, and smiled as he introduced her to the others. When he turned back to her, she gave him a ponderous look.

"That must stink. But, why did you have to leave so soon?"

Karma smiled and waved her hand at the two girls. It was always nice to meet new people, even if they had interrupted slightly.

Daphne felt chilled as the Grey Lady drifted away from their table. She really loved her gown, it was quite elegant. If she lived during the Lady's time, she would have the most beautiful dresses.

She adjusted her headband, pulling her red hair back out of her face. Returning her attention back to the Emiliano, she straightened up her posture. "Pleasure to meet you, Emiliano. I'm Daphne, sixth year."

Her eyes moved towards the other tables and the floating ghosts. She felt strange being able to see through them. "Ghosts... Can you believe it?" she breathed. "Have you ever seen one before?"
