Ravenclaw House Table Welcome to Hogwarts! |
Becca was one of the first to enter the Great Hall and her eyes shot up to the Staff Table. Hm. Not much going on yet. She was very anxious to see who the new Headmaster or Headmistress was... and who, of course, would be taking Lainey's position as History of Magic professor. She took short, quick strides down the aisle of two tables, the Ravenclaw table on her right, and she sat down not TOO close to the Staff Table, but enough that she would be able to pick out specific features on the professors' faces. She sat with her body turned towards the Staff Table, watching the doors closely for the new faces to enter. Becca hoped they would present themselves well. First impressions were everything. |
Walking into the Great Hall, Liz takes it all in with a smile. It's great to be back she says to herself and heads over to the Ravenclaw table and sits down. |
Leeroy walked over to his new house table. None of his new friends had been sorted into the same house as him. Nobody at the table looked like they were his age. He smiled feebly and sat down. His stomach growled and he realized how hungry he was. |
Karma basically skipped into the Great Hall once the doors opened up for her. She was very excited to be back at school, and even though her robes weren't perfect (and never were) she was happy. A new year, new classes, new people - and she hoped that it would go well. She walked around to find her usual spot and was glad to see that it wasn't taken. That problem had come around before, and that's why she had two spots. Somewhere around the middle of the table, she placed herself down on the bench carefully in case someone had messed with it. She fixed her tie, made sure her hair was in that messy, infamous ponytail, and waited to see who all would join her. |
Lasca gave a huge smile when the hat shouted out Ravenclaw. She hopped down from the stool and took a seat at the table. She didn't see anyone she knew but there were people still filing in from the carriages. I guess the boats get here first. Shrugging her shoulders, she went to watching everyone around her. |
Rian looked around her as she walked over to the Ravenclaw table. She brushed her hair out of her face, slightly aggitated, as she looked for someone she knew. Seeing no one, she sat down toward the middle of the table. While waiting for the food to show up, she popped a chocolate frog into her mouth and kept looking around. |
A lot taller, but still as shy as she's always been, she spots Rian down the table. Standing up Liz heads over to her. Coming up behind her, she covers Rian's eyes. "Guess who?" she says quietly with a grin. |

"Is this seat taken?" He asked, approaching a girl that looked to be about his age. |
And so here it was at last. Copernicus had paused in the doorway before getting jostled in the general direction of the Ravenclaw table, where he couldn't avoid sitting down between strangers. At least people were still trickling in, so he could sit near the middle of the table without anyone too close just yet. He seated himself and wondered just where the heck Plymouth had gotten himself to. He'd never shown up on the train. |
Glancing up, Liz notices a boy close to her age sit down a little ways away. He looks kind of cute... she thought to herself. I wonder who he is, maybe Rian knows... |
Karma looked up at the flow of people coming into the Great Hall, and was thankful that she had gotten her seat just in time. That blonde haired boy looked familiar. She would never forget a face, that was sure. But the name, that was the hard part for her. He had a brother, and they bickered like an old married couple... Ahh. Copernicus. He was the witty one. "Hello Copernicus," she said. "Long time no see. How was the rest of summer?" |

Still standing at five feet four inches, the fifth year had not changed one bit since the last time she'd set a foot inside the Hogwarts castle. In truth, she looked exactly the same; not one inch taller, and certainly not one inch shorter either. Perhaps the only and practically insiginificant difference was that her dark chocolate hair was slightly longer than it used to be, and that her cheeks were a little bit tan due to all the sun she had soaked up during the summer. And how she missed the summer. But there was no point on complaining how ridiculously quickly it had past, for she was in Hogwarts again. And she would be there for the next nine months. Flipping one dark lock of hair to the back, Willow strolled down the great hall a little bit pompous, smugness radiating from every inch of her entire body. She had been waiting for this moment for a long time; people finally would know who the new Quidditch Captain was. She would make sure of that. Yes, she could be a huge show off. Now, Willow could only hope that she would not turn out to be one lousy captain. Ryan would probably assassin her if that happened. Whenever it is that she would see him again, that is. Taking seat around the middle of the long Ravenclaw table, her forest green eyes scanned the obviously delicious food --she didn't need to taste it in order to know it was good-- carefully, before deciding after a couple of moments that she felt like having roast and mashed potatoes. Quickly but carefully, the fifth year helped herself with her food, and then poured some pumpkin juice in her goblet before taking a sip. |

Like always, the ceiling was flooded with levitating candles. He was back. After a ride on the Hogwarts Express, Ludo entered the Great Hall and sat at the Ravenclaw House table as usual. Returning students were still flooding into the Hall with him. First years would enter soon enough. Ludo thought back to his experience under the Sorting Hat. He sat on the bench, Liz or Mari having not yet arrived, and stared longingly at his empty plate. His stomach growled as though it were annoyed. "Food will come soon enough. Just relax...you're back, Ludo." The thought felt pleasant in his mind. |

"It's Karma," she said, tucking some hair behind her ear. "I didn't want to seem too forward though, so forgive me. After all, it was only one meet and greet at the Leaky, I think. I'm not sure." |
Robert walked into the Great Hall with a smile on his face. The train ride had been...relatively peaceful and now he's finally back to the one place he loved. Sighing he sat down at the Ravenclaw table and looked around for Elizabeth or Mariska. He looked around the familiar hall and at the chattering students and a feel of content swelled through him. Maybe this year won't be so bad after all. |

Ludo turned his attention to the Staff Table at the head of the Hall. Professors were trickling in, taking there seats. Some he'd seen before, such as Vindictus, Head of Ravenclaw House, others Ludo guessed were new. His eyes flicked to a rather large man that sat at the end of the table. But there was Madame Kohan and Ludo smiled, it was always nice visiting with her. Waiting for other Ravenclaws to take their seats, Ludo's stomach growled again. He looked back at the Staff Table because he new the feast wouldn't begin til after the Headmistress' speech. Unfortunately, her seat was not yet occupied...he'd have to wait a bit longer. "Wonder where she could be?" he thought. |
Daphne entered the Great Hall, beaming ear to ear. She had been looking forward to seeing the castle again, and was really eager for the feast to begin. Her stomach rumbled as it reminder her of a missed lunch, done in anticipation of the meal to come. Instinctively, she turned and walked right to her table, barely noticing the others, she wanted to be around Ravenclaws right now. Sitting down, she adjusted her robes. She always felt strange getting back into them after a summer holiday. She looked at her empty plate longingly, but knew there was so much to come before the food. She would just have to wait. She looked around her for a familiar face, but didn't mind the sea of new ones. "Good to be back," she said aloud to no in particular. |

Rian uncovered her own eyes too see for herself. "Hey Liz," she laughed, patting the bench next to her, inviting her cousin to sit down. Rian took a quick look at the Staff table, waiting for the Headmistress to make her speech. Then she remembered that there would be a new Headmistress/Headmaster this year. She bit her lip and turned back to her own table, looking around at all the students that had come in. There were so many that she hadn't met yet. |
