"Sort of." Cela answered uncomfortably, indicating that Evolette should read the letter and the article.

Cela cringed a bit at the word dating, chewing her lip nervously. "A little bit before the quill came out I guess..."

"I like Cale's sideburns." Celandine said, watching Camira laugh, an expression of mild alarm on her face.

"Everything?" Cela chewed her lip, "Well... I... actually... spend more time with Copernicus than with Plymouth. I... don't really know what to do... after the poem and... " Cela looked at the picture in the quill and back up between the two slytherins, "Thats what he was doing... reading me a poem he wrote. Anna was there." Cela sniffed, "I was asking her about kissing and Maddox showed up and got really mad. Then after Maddox left I came back and Plymouth found me and read me the poem. Then Copernicus and Barry showed up and it was all very scary so I went and did some homework." Cela informed them.

"I like his sideburns too." Evolette agreed, smiling at Celandine. She brought her attention back to the more important topic on hand however. "Wow." she blinked, trying to take in everything that the girl had just said.

"I really should actually read the Quill, shouldn't I?" she asked, chuckling. She'd not know about any of this at all. "So, have you two only kissed the one time then?" she asked curiously.

Hmmm...that was a bit strange. Why did she spend more time with Copernicus, whoever the heck that was. And Maddox got mad? Why? Looked like drama was destined to follow around all who were Toussaints.

"Why exactly did Maddox get mad?" It didn't seem like him at all. He was usually so laid back and care free.

She grinned at Evee when she asked the question Camira had been wondering about herself. It appeared that she too thought now was not the time for subtlety.

"Only the one time and he kissed me." Cela stressed , "I told him it was a waste of a first kiss and made him promise to do it better next time." Celandine had yet to learn the art of catering to the male ego.

"Maddox got mad for the same reason Nicholai would." Cela answered before launching into a wordvomit, "I think he might beat Plymouth up, especially now that its in the Quill. Which Is soooo annoying! And do you know who wrote that?! My best friend! Garret!" Cela continued without taking a breath or realising she'd claimed Garret as her bestie, "And then he said that he wanted more guy friends! And my other friend, Barry... he wants me to talk about Plymouth and he's been acting all weird." Cela made a face, "You both know lots about boys right? And both of you have kissed a whole bunch of them, right? Are they all like that?" Cela waved her hands around in frustration as she spoke, "And how do you know what a good kiss is supposed to be like?"

Celandine looked between the two of them before adding, "Oh... I have your letters."

"But why was it a waste?" Evolette asked quickly, before even allowing herself to process the rest of the information that the poor girl was spilling. "I for one think it was adorable, and better than my first kiss, which was a dare." she added.

Chewing on her lip, Evolette tried desperately to follow Celandine's train of thought, but she kept getting distracted. "Okay, first off, someone needs to tell Maddox to cool it. Either you, or one of us, either way, it's got to be done. You can't have a broken boyfriend, they're not as easily refundable as everything else."

Kissed a lot of boys? That was a bit of an understatement. In fact, Evolette would probably be ashamed of the amount of boys she'd kissed if she actually cared. "Are they all like what?" she asked, "Weird?" A chuckle arose as she nodded, "Yes, pretty much, all guys are weird."

"Kissing is something that you need to practice at." Evolette said, wincing as the words came out of her mouth, if Nicholai ever heard her telling his sister that she needed to practice kissing, he would not be pleased. "Eventually, you will just know what's good and what's bad." she shrugged, "Then, of course, the way you actually feel about the boy you are kissing could change the whole experience entirely." She looked over at Camira, hoping that she would have some input too. Evolette did not want to be held solely responsible for corrupting Celandine.

"Letters?" she asked, sort of glad for the subject change. Ohhh. Letters from Nicholai?

Camira just blinked a bit. Oh dear. They were going to have this conversation. Nico was going to murder her if he ever found out. Which he wouldn’t, but still.

She let Evee go first. She was not taking the initial blame. Besides, now she oculd aregue that the damage had already been done. If Nico ever found out. Which he wouldn’t. But still. “Erm, well, I definitely agree with Evolette about Maddox. If you’d like, I can talk to him for you. I hold a certain amount of…sway with him”, she said hastily, clearing her throat. So awkward.

“As for the….kissing”, she cringed slightly at the word. This is why she’d never had siblings. “I think Evolette covered it pretty well. Sometimes even a good kisser can seem bland if the feelings are there and conversely, a so-so kisser can seem really great if you really like them.” She paused for a minute then. She hadn’t really kissed that many guys, had she? She tried counting in her head. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,…..okay, nevermind.

“And are all boys, weird? Yes. In different ways, but they’re all pretty weird and almost impossible to understand. But we do hold a certain power over them and if you learn to utilize that, it’ll make things much easier”, she said seriously. And then realized she probably shouldn’t have said something like that. Eh…oops?

She looked at Evolette and gave her a look. A ‘this is a bad idea’ look. Because really, it was. But it was done so that was that.

"It was a waste because I didn't expect it and it was too short." Celandine responded, twisting her hair around her finger, "And I have to be good at everything I do- its kind of a Toussaint thing," Cela told them- as if they didn't know, "and I didn't get a chance to tell if I was good or not. But... I think I'll like it quite a bit if I do it as much as you both do."

Celandine smiled brightly when Evolette and Camira both said they'd take care of Maddox... though there was another consideration, "Kayla didn't seem too happy either." Cela hinted, still playing with her hair.

Cela reached for a her journal and a quill, dutifully taking notes on what the two Slytherin girls had to say about kissing.

"A certain power? Like... how they do anything I ask when I do this?" Celandine immediately pulled the face that had managed to get Maddox into wearing an oversized rat costume; her dark brown eyes welling up slightly and shining puppy-like. Her lip pouted and quivered the tiniest amount and she shrunk in on herself, looking small and vulnerable.

She relaxed and straightened up; the contrast immediate and somewhat alarming. "Do they all write poetry?" Cela asked, tapping the quill against the table, wondering if it was something she could expect more of.

"Oh... letters." Cela reached into her bag, pulled out a huge stack and rifled through them until she found one for Camira and one for Evolette.

"But... you both have to promise that you won't tell Nicholai and if he finds out, then you will do your bestest to make it all go away." If anyone could distract Nicholai from being overprotective of her, it would be these two.

Cela placed each letter on the table and waited for them to promise before relinqushing the now.... 2 month old letters.

As Bonnie walked towards the nearly empty Ravenclaw table, she wished she was still in her warm bed in which she slept like a log last night! Dreamily, she took a seat on her own for she had not yet spotted anyone she knew. As she ate her fresh croissant, her thoughts wandered to what she would do with her Sunday. Being a typical Ravenclaw, she thought it best to do some studying before she relaxed. And anyway, how could she relax with work on her mind? But first of all, she wanted to write a letter to her parents as she had wanted to for a few days now...

Evolette watched, amused as Celandine pulled the sweetest little pout. Not as good as hers, and it did need perfecting, but it was very, very impressive. "That's good." she said, praising the younger girl. "Trust me, it's very hard for a male to deny you whatever you want after a good pout. Except maybe for your brother." she added with a chuckle. However, Evolette could recall quite a few times that even the great Nicholai Toussaint himself had fallen pray to her pout.

"Do they all write poetry?" she repeated, wrinkling her nose. "Hardly. I've never had a boyfriend who wrote me poetry. An admirer or two, however." Glancing at Camira, she wondered if her answer to that question would be any different.

Ohhh. A letter! Evolette reached for the letter, but paused upon hearing Celandine's condition. She'd already made a promise to Nicholai to look out for his sister, but she supposed that she could juggle two promises. "Promise." she agreed.

Camira smiled and nodded at Cela. The girl was smart. “Exactly. Just practice that pout and you’re golden”, she said cheerfully. Oh, the pout was brilliant. She’d gotten her way 99% of the time with the help of the pout. Of course, where the pout was not enough, there was the seductive smile and whisper combination. Yes, she’d gotten Will to neglect a battered first year because of that combo, er, not that she was particularly proud of that. At any rate, Cela didn’t need to learn that yet, at least not from Camira. Nope, she was not taking the fall for that one.

Poetry? “I don’t think so. I knew one guy who wrote poetry, but that was it”, she said, blinking a bit. It seemed so foreign. Guys writing poetry.

Oh! The letter! Eeeep. She nodded enthusiastically at Cela’s condition. “I promise.” She meant it too. She knew Nico could have a temper. And Cela was getting older. She needed some independence.

"Okay. practice the pout." Celandine repeated, making a note in her book (which was beginning to resemble a self-help book for teenage girls. If she published it she'd probably make a small fortune).

"So that makes Plymouth pretty special then." Cela mused, "Oh... except Kayla said that Nico wrote her something." Celandine made a little face before smiling at both girls as they promised to help her out.

Ha!

Take that, Nicholai Toussaint!

Walking over to the Ravenclaw table, determined to eat something before meeting Rian. She had a hard time swallowing anything that she put on her plate. Why are boys so difficult!!! she thought to herself.

Evolette looked down at the letter, folding it into her pocket for safe keeping. She was dieing to read it, but she couldn't open it in front of Celandine, there was bound to be something in there about her.

"Have you read these?" Evolette asked, arching her eyebrow in interest. She knew that if she were the one to pass along the letters, she would have read them, probably to see if anyone's was better than hers.

"Well, I should get going." she said, tucking her hair behind her ear, "It's my best friend's birthday." she offered, as her reason to leave.

"Thanks for the letter Cela, and have fun with that boyfriend. If you need some more help, feel free to ask." she nudged the younger girl's arm lightly and winked. Then turned to Camira, "See you around." she added, jumping up from the table and making her way out of the Great Hall.

Qaz was starving. A big breakfast was in order. Let's see, oatmeal, bacon, ham and eggs...and some orange juice..a muffin. That should get her through most of the day. She put some bacon and ham in a container for her cat...a little yoghurt in a tiny container for her baby Jarvey and a couple apples in her bag for later. That should abouot do it. Lots of work to do.

Amelia walked into the Great Hall, unusually silent. She glanced around and saw some other people. She walked over, and though about saying something to the person nearest her, but decided against it. I'm such a chicken. Can't even talk to someone. She pulled over a dish, and mindlessly piled what was on it onto her plate, and started eating, without even noticing what it was. I wonder what’s wrong with Amanda. She’s been off ever since the Bamboo Forest, when we were discussing the last times we fought. Amelia felt very out of place without her best friend sitting next to her.

Ludo arrived in the Great Hall for an early breakfast. He'd had quite a bit of trouble sleeping last night. By the time he'd actually gotten up, his stomach was screaming at him.
"Probably since you ddin't eat a thing after that Hurling Hex." he thought.

He took a seat at the Ravenclaw table and fixed a bowl of cereal and several pieces of toast before waiting for the owl post to arrive.

Aggie desperately needed help with some homework. She was completely lost on her muggle studies homework and since Tobi wasn’t the most patient with her when it came to muggle studies, she was searching for Sho. Sho, despite a few failed attempts at hiding laughter from her silly questions, had the patience of a saint.

She walked up to the Claw table, fiddling with her satchel strap and scanned the table. She didn’t recognize a single person sitting there. Cale’s dark head of hair was missing, so was the cranky Ravenclaw girl that was usually with him and Sho. Sho of course, was MIA – purely because she needed his help.

“Excuse me,” she asked a young man eating his cereal. “You haven’t seen Sho around have you?”

Ludo had a spoonfull of cereal halfway to his mouth when an older Gryffindor girl spoke up behind him. Somewhat surprised he turned in his seat. "Oh hello." He scanned the Ravenclaw table for her missing student.

"No, sorry I haven't. I'll let you know if I see him." He said with a smile.

Curses and fungus roots. Aggie thought to herself as the young man answered her question with an answer she hadn't been hoping to hear. Now she would probably have to ask Tobi-I-have-no-patience-for-your-silly-muggle-questions-Avalon for help with her muggle studies homework.

"Oh," she said unable to keep the disappointment from her voice. "If you could just tell him I'm looking for him." Wait, he doesn't know you. "Sorry," her brow creased a little. "That Aggie's looking for him. It'd be a help."

Amanda walked into the Great Hall, wiping her eyes once more. She still couldn't believe she had been so stupid. She hadn't meant to make Amelia feel bad, and she was still upset, remembering the last time she had fought with Max, and what happened with her Mum and Dad. She saw Amelia sitting at the Ravenclaw House Table and sat down next to her. "Hey lovie. What are you- Ohmygosh! Are you eating vegetables?!" Amanda said, incredulous.

Amelia looked up at Amanda, then down at her plate. "Oh. My. Goodness. EW! I though something tasted weird!" She stared, appalled, down at ther plate of that gross healthy stuff. "Take it. Get it away. Please!" She suddered. Now, how did i actually manage to eat those?!

Amelia turned to her best friend. "So. What been up lately? You've seemed a little down. You normally tell me everything. Whats up?" Mentally, she said to her self Good job. No beating around the bush. Just get it out there. Now i just hope shes not mad... She looked at her friend and rasied her eyebrows.

Plymouth twirled his fork around his and in his noodles. "WELL," he started, "I'm bored. I need entertainment. I need a banana split. I need something to do."

"They say that talking to yourself is the first sign of insanity," Copernicus slid onto the bench across from Plymouth. "So... that's something new to look forward to."

"MAYBE - I'm a psychic. Divination genius. Maybe my noodle formation TOLD me you'd be showing up and I was talking to you." Maybe. Unlikely, but maybe. "Where you been, Pernipie?"

"Around," he filled his plate. "Listen. I have... girl issues. Can you be serious for a minute?" This was a terrrrrrible idea.
