Nia was just about to peruse some of the other yummy food on offer, when suddenly everything went dark. Bother. The voice was not at all like Theo's (crybaby-still-stumbling-over-some-words) and it didn't sound like that John person she met the other day. Which meant it could only be one other boy.

"Elan!" Nia exclaimed, half triumphantly since she was 99% sure she was correct, and half excited. She hadn't got to see him yet since arriving at the castle. "What brings you to the Ravenclaw table?" She giggled, trying to reach for her fork as her stomach gave a loud grumble. "And more importantly, could I see my lunch please?"

He heard some excitement in her voice as she spoke his name (which was a good thing, because Nia was a wonderful girl). He took away his hands and quickly apoplogized to her. "Of course, seeing the food to the mouth is important I suppose." He sat down next to her and answered her other question with a question. "Gee, I don't know. I wonder what would bring me, Elan, a Huffie to the Ravenclaw table?" He grinned a big grin in her direction and picked up a chicken wing.

Nia laughed as everything became light again. "It is if you'd rather not see the both of us covered in my lunch, plus the fact that my growling stomach is getting rather annoying. Its been going since halfway through the last class." As if to back up her point, Nia's stomach rumbled once more. She tilted her head and shrugged. "See?!"

Nia frowned and scratched her forehead at Elan's reply. "I really don't know. You've got me on that one! Gah, and my Ravvie brains too..." Her eyes twinkled, as she looked to her plate and ate a forkful of peas. Good job she didn't have to attempt eating those blind. "Maybe we have better food?"

He laughed as she joked with him. "Yes, I see your point. It is important to maintain proper table etiquette if one is to remain clean throughout the meal." Hearing the rumbling of her stomach. "Is that you? I had rather thought one of the small creatures had gotten loose from the grounds and was wandering the table in search of prey."

He winked at her. "That can't be it. All the food is the same at each table. So, I suppose I'm not here for the greater quality food." he nudged her gently as he watched her eat the peas, which seemed rather difficult with the fork she was holding.

"Indeed. And I very much do." She giggled. "Of course its me! Can you see any small creatures?" She scanned the table with her eyes, partly to check that there actually weren't any small animals, and partly to see what else would complement her chicken nicely. "I certainly can't. So the conclusion is that it is indeed me making at growling noises. Or at least my stomach." And with that, she duly fed the stomach before it made everyone in the hall stare at her.

"Really? Oh. You really have got me stumped." Her turquoise eyes twinkled, as her mouth turned into a pout. "Please do tell me why you have appeared at the Claws table in that case?" And with that he nudged her, peas from her fork bouncing nicely back onto the plate. And some on the table. And a couple on the floor. Bother. Determined not to get caught out again, she started to stab them one at a time, until the fork was full before attempting to eat them.

Theo was hungry. And he wanted someone to sit next to. He glanced around the room before settling on the Ravenclaw Table. He spotted his younger sister with Elan. He would go and sit by them.

He giggled, "Nia peed on the table. And the floor." He laughed as she picked them all back up again. "Mummy has told you not to pea on the floor."

Nia was waiting for Elan's reason, when she heard giggling. A certain twin brother's giggling. Of all the timing that he could have picked, Theo managed to chose this. Gah. She was ready to wring his neck, or hex him or something, but knew that now was not the time with Elan there. Stupid annoying brother. She stabbed her peas harder. He was going to ruin it.

Instead she faked a laugh, and flicked back her hair as if she didn't mind her brother being there in the slightest. Which she most definitely did. Maybe she could try and encourage him to go elsewhere - she wanted to talk to catch up with Elan properly, and not with silly giggling from behind her.

"Hello Theo," she said, giving him an annoyed look that Elan couldn't see. "So, erm, nice of you to join us." She looked at Elan doubtfully. She was sure he hadn't come to the Ravenclaw table to talk to her brother.

Elan was smiling as she came back at his response to her questions. He watched in horror as his little nudge caused a pea shower over the table and onto the floor when he heard Theo address Nia.

She put on a good show that she wasn't upset, but a look flashed over her eyes at the sound of his voice which let him know differently.

Elan looked at Theo. "You thought it would be better to share a meal with us than with your Slytherin comrades?" he asked Theo.

Theo smiled at his sister, "Hello Nia. I wanted to come eat dinner with you." He pushed her bag off the seat next to her and sat down. He began shovelling mashed potato on his plate. He then poured a glass of milk.

"I don't have any friends in Slytherin. I have some in Hufflepuff and Gryffindor though. Oh and there is Mr Clifford and Miss Evangeline. But I think they are only nice to me because they are Prefects. So I came to sit with my little sister."

Nia gave Elan a crooked grin as he looked in horror at her peas going everywhere. "Don't worry," she said with a chuckle. "I can get more you know."

"Great," Nia said, with a roll of her eyes aimed directly at Theo. Just what she wanted, her brother definitely joining them. She looked in shock as he had the cheek to push her bag off the seat and as a result tipped her homework and books everywhere. Along with her blue fluffy diary. Bending down to pick up her things, and smuggle the diary away before Theo could notice it, she hissed in her brother's ear. "Was that completely necessary? Idiot."

After resurfacing from under the table, glad that Theo hadn't also managed to wreck her favourite quill with his stupid antics, Nia heard what she assumed was in her favour. At Elan's words, a smirk spread across Nia's face. Why indeed was Crybaby not with the Slytherins? Why ever would he chose her company? It was well known that Theo didn't exactly like his sister. His answer was somewhat disappointing though.

"You do...what about Paris? And I'm sure there must be some from the Quidditch team last year. Or you could see if your crush Angel Lyra is about. I'm sure she'd love your company." She was trying to refrain from scowling. He'd had the cheek to come and sit here with his 'little sister'. Meh. She was not little, especially compared to him. And he'd come over purely to annoy her when she was having a lovely conversation with Elan. Should she ignore Theo? Or would that seem rude?

"So, Elan, you never did tell me your reason..." Nia asked, slightly turning her back on her brother. Enough to hopefully give him the clue he was not wanted here, but not enough to appear rude.

Mmm. The sweet smell of food! Rian strode happily into the Great Hall, turning automatically for the Ravenclaw table. She hummed quietly to herself as she looked around for others that she knew. Seeing no one, she shrugged to herself and sat down on an empty seat about a quarter of the way down the table.

She looked at the food in front of her, deciding what to eat. She decided on something small; a glass of water and bowl of soup. She took her bag off her shoulder, set the two books she was holding on the seat next to her, and started getting herself the food.

Karma skipped into the hallway even though her bag was heavy. It was a good day, and she was in a good mood. YAY!

She looked to her side and saw Emiliano, which only put her in a better mood. She enjoyed his company, and sat down at the table, immediately pouring herself some pumpkin juice.

"Ahh," she said, after taking a drink. "Refreshing."

She pushed the bag on the floor so she wouldn't kick it. The last thing she needed was the ink bottle to break.

"Where would you like to go after this?"

Emiliano could notice Karma's great mood during the day. That sure made him happy and his mood to lighten up a bit more. He smiled wide as he sat down beside her and then took the orange juice jar to serve some in a cup.

He took a great gulp and then cleaned the little whiskers left after drinking it.

"You decide...though, I'm quite interested in the Lake..." He wondered how was it and if the books said the truth about it. How peacefull, and amazing it was.

Karma watched Emiliano for a moment before replying. Yess, the lake was good. But there were a lot of people there sometimes. Maybe it would be better if it was someplace quieter.

Nahh. He wanted to go there. So she would go along with it.

"Alright. The lake it is then. What did you want to do there, just relax?"

Emiliano let out a wide smile when Karma accepted to go to the lake. "Yes, just relax and enjoy what's left of this summer..." He told her, looking outside the windows and still see that shining sun up in the sky, though surrounded by clouds, a sign that autumn was nearby.

"But...I can go anywhere you want...really..." He also wanted to please Karma, he enjoyed her company a lot.

"Actually," Karma said, rolling up her sleeves. "I think the lake sounds good. I need to get back my tan before the sun fades."

She laughed, hoping that Emiliano knew she was kidding. It was so nice outside, why let the day go to waste? That was exciting - she had been dying to go outside all day. And now she had the chance to do it.

After downing the rest of her drink, she scooted her bag closer to her so she could reach it.

"Let me know when you're ready. I'm excited."

Emiliano let out a light chuckle and smiled at Karma when he noticed the joke inside her words. "Yes, you do need to work on that tan a bit...." He responded with a joke as well.

When he finished drinking his juice, he stood up and took his backpack immediately. "I'm finished...and ready..." He told her, as he put his hand in his pocket and reached for the little toy ball he was always playing with. He thought about bouncing it, but after some little embarrassing moments in front of Karma, he held it inside and waited to be at the lake.

In one swift and graceful movement, Karma was out of her seat with her bag on her shoulder. She took Emiliano's arm and smiled.

"Alright. Let's go!"

She could have skipped out of the hall if it hadn't have been for the boy she was connected to.

That sure took him by surprise. Karma's arm holding on to his? Whoa...

Emiliano nodded and smiled back at her, walking towards the Great Hall entrance and outside, to the great and peaceful place the lake, as said as books, was.

Toshi entered the Great Hall, sitting down at the Ravvie house table and put loads of potatoes and sauerkraut on his plate. He also poured himself a glass of juice and looked around at his fellow Ravenclaws.
Eager to find new friends, he asked:
"Hey people, how`re you doing?"

Rian looked up as she heard someone address the students at the Ravenclaw table as 'people'. She smiled, recognizing the boy that had said it. She couldn't remember his name, but she knew she'd seen him before.

"Hey," she greeted, smiling. "What's up?" she raised an eyebrow slightly, fighting the urge to laugh.

He smiled happily as a girl responded to his question.
"Aah, hi!", he said and gulped down the potatoe he was chewing on.
"Nothing much, I´m just a bit exhausted, done loads of homework just now...And you?"

Rian looked down and shook her head. How random. She looked back up when he asked her a question. "Um, Lunch," she said with a laugh. "And chocolate frogs..." she added, pulling a couple out of her bag. "Want one?" she offered, not wanting to be rude.

Toshi beamed at her as she offered him a frog.
"Thank you! That`s great! If you want to share!"
He smiled.
Ravvies are really nice, I´m lucky to be in this house!

Livvy walked towards the Ravenclaw Table with her books and sat down next to Rian and Toshi. "Hey Rian. Toshi! I haven't seen you since summer! How've you been?" Livvy asked, grinning and gave the boy a small hug and began to put food on her plate.
