"Oh." She... gave him a real picture? "Awww.... CellBell... I didn't mean - it was a ..." Oh who cares. He had a picture! And he was keeping it for forever! "I'll be sure to leave this out for Santa so that he doesn't leave me anything." Plymouth laughed and hopped up.


"A walk you ask, a walk I shall deliver." Plymouth grabbed a roll for each hand for the road. He usually talked to much at the table to eat much, and today was no different.

"Yay." Celandine responded quietly, standing up and cramming the last of the cauldron cake into her mouth without taking a moment to consider it wasn't really good manners. Meh. She didn't care. For good measure she swallowed and picked up another cauldron cake.

"Where shall we go?"

Cela didn't have the warmest of clothes on, but really she hardly cared, it was just neat that she could spend time with Plym. She smiled brightly at him and brushed the crumbs off her shirt.

Plymouth pulled out his list of things that he had prepared to do with Cela. "Um... well. According to the list, we should head to the lake." Plymouth put a roll in his mouth and grabbed another for that hand. If they were going outside, he needed to pack on some fat to keep warm. She had the right idea - his brilliant girlfriend - already stuffing down cakes.

They were brain sharing. How sweet.


And off to the lake they went.

Qaz was starving, so she loaded her plate. Chicken..some in a container for her tabby, HiJinx. Mac and Cheese, how Muggle of them. Some fruit. and little yoghurt for her baby Jarvey, Chaos. Some vegies, because she should, not because she liked them. Now, a nice quiet meal.

Still sleepy, Lethe tried to fight her grogginess. She walked down to the Great Hall and went on to the Ravenclaw House table. As she was hungry, she immediately sat down on one of the empty chairs then grabbed a piece--or no, two pieces of toast and munched it with her mouth wide open. Although aware of people staring at her, she didn't worry--besides she "enjoyed" eating in that kind of way.

The letter in his hand, William entered the great hall, walking straight to his table with no expression on his face. He so did not want to do this but he had no choice. not if he wanted to keep the points he had already earned back. Stopping at his normal spot he looked around, gulping as he saw the students sitting and chatting happily away, no idea that they'd find out where the points went.

Grabbing the pumpkin juice flask he sighed and filled his goblet up, downing it in seconds. Taking another deep breath he closed his eyes, his hand tightening on the letter. Why did it have to be here of all places he wondered his blue eyes drifting over the many bodies. Okay Will, you can do this. It's like a band-aid, pull it off quickly and walk away, you can do this. he thought to himself, looking down at the inconspicuous letter.

Clearing his throat he began. "To my Fellow Ravenclaw students. There's no doubt you have noticed many points missing from our House Glass and there's a very good reason why this is so. For some reason I felt the need to express myself to a professor, Kazimeririz to be honest and I went too far. Instead of apologizing like I know I should have I rambled, speaking of things I knew I shouldn't have.

This is not what makes me a Ravenclaw, although right now I feel I don't belong but I'll get to that. I apologize for speaking like I did to him, and I now know giving away my position is the WRONG thing to do. I tell you this only because that's exactly what I did when speaking to professor Kazimerirz and I paid the price. I was disrespectful and inconsiderate. I ask for your forgiveness though I do not deserve it. I know know self preserverence is the most important thing one can learn, and telling someone you're afraiad of them is not how to go about it.

I do not know why I spoke in such a rude manner to him, when I was doing it I was not thinking about my fellow students and the out come. I do not deserve your forgiveness, do not give it to me. I do not deserve to..." he trailed off, his voice growing thick with emotion. "I do not deserve to be here at Hogwarts if I continue this way. I will do no good, only bad if I continue to disrespect you all, and I speak to the Gryffindors Slytherins and Hufflepuffs when I say this. I am the lowest of the low, the mud that you walk on."

He took a deep breath, his letter almost finished. He was shaking now, on the verge of tears but he would not cry here not when everyone was now looking at him.

"I wish to formally apologize to Professor Kazimeriz. He is trying to teach us about defense, not how to walk up to a respected professor and tell them you're not afraid of them. Professor, I hope you can forgive me for my actions, and I give you my word as a Ravenclaw and as a student of your class that I will NEVER do so again. I'd also like to apologize to all the other professors, for I have disrespected you all as a whole.

At the time I wasn't thinking of the repercussions of my actions, I was only thinking, wrongly I now know, of how happy I was to have learned so much in just one class. I know now this is not the way a Ravenclaw acts. If I could switch Houses right now, I do not know here I would put myself, for my actions would disrespect every House.

In closing, I've learned to not speak in a rude way to a highly respected professor. I also learned to keep my mouth closed and not say how unfair something is when I get into trouble. I also know that my House is for those who are wise and true, not those who speak out at random times and forget their brains at the door.

I'm sorry for everything." He finished, shaking even harder than before as he sat down, his eyes brimming with unshed tears. That was much harder than he had thought and he hoped he hadn't made professor Kazimeriz any madder at him than he already was. Now all he had to do was put this letter in the Ravenclaw Bullion board and hope that one day they'd forgive him.

Natka sat down at the Ravenclaw table, staring at the food around her with unseeing eyes. Her mind wasn't really focusing on the delicacies the House Elves so beautifully presented, all she could think about was her bed and how much she wished she could go back to her dormitory and just sleep. For some unfathomable reason, she was tired constantly these past few days.

The fact that she had nobody to confide in did not help, of course. Oh, she had friends, or rather people she talked to, but there was no one who was always there for her, nobody she could trust no matter what.

And simply writing letters to everyone back home was not the same, no matter how much she would like to pretend that it was.

Lizzie's eyes widened as she walked past the Ravenclaw table on her way to get some lunch. Natka! she called, giving her friend a tight hug from behind. How are you? I haven't seen you like forever!! With happy eyes she quickly sat down next to Natasha, examining her first friend with curious eyes. Wow, are you tired? she asked friendly, realising that Natka's eyes seemed to have a hard time staying open.

Natka was shaken from her reverie by a familia voice exclaiming right by her ear.

"Lizzie!" she grinned at her friend. Lizzie always seemed to appear when the young Ravenclaw was feeling most down and lonely - like now. Natka guessed that the time of the year, the weather combined with the workload and all that, wasn't helping her mood.

She was more than glad to have met Lizzie in this case.

"Yeah, I am," she sheeplishly replied. "I haven't been getting much sleep lately, either because I have to work, or I simply can't fall asleep and I'm stuck tossing and turning for half the night."

"How are you though? And everyone else?" she asked. "I don't seem to have been running into you much in lessons or anything much recently, it does seem like forever," she agreed with a small smile.

Grinning at her friend she said It's great to see you Natka! It's been so long.. Lizzie was in quite a happy mood today, but no one else seemed to feel the same way. That's so odd, you know. Everyone's so tired these days she told Natka as she grabbed an empty cup of pumpkin juice near by and tasted it. So what have you been up to lately? Anything fun happened? She worried a bit about her friend. They didn't spend much time together, though they had fun when they did, and Lizzie always had the feeling that Natka was a bit lonely. It's ok that I join you for lunch right? she asked with a wide smile.

"Are you kidding?" Natka's smile brightened, and she felt her spirits life slightly at the thought of having someone close to talk to finally.

Not that she didn't appreciate her solitude - Natka had always been a rather independant child, and now teenager. She didn't mind being alone at times, but it did get tiresome if she was forced to be alone too much, too often, just caught up in her books and studies.

"Nah, you know, just work and lessons and listening to all the gossip..." the Ravenclaw replied, referring to the horrifying incident in the Library.

"And you?" she asked, anticipiating a detailed answer. Lizzie always had a lot going on in her life.

Lizzie's face turned serious for a second when Natka, as everyone else, mentioned gossip which at once made her think about the poor firstie boy. Oh did you too hear about what happened in the library? That poor firstie..

She was quiet for just a short moment, thinking, then smiled a bit again and said I know, studies takes a lot of time.. Well I've had a crazy term so far. Realising she hadn't talked to Natka since term started, Lizzie went through everything at top speed. So I'm still dating Chris, as I told you at Florean's she giggled. He's so sweet, best boyfriend in the world. And I've met some new friends, inkluding a guy named Jesse who's really nice. And then a friend of my family started this year. He's a third year, Marcus, but he's been homeschooled.

Taking a deep breath she suddenly remembered something and her eyes widened slightly. Oh and I almost forgot, I had amnesia for a week or so just a while ago... It was terrible, I kept forgetting stuff and I was sitting in the hospital wing for so long and yet I kept forgetting why I was there.. My friend Chalice was there with me, and I recall now afterwards that I didn't recognize her once in a while.. It was freaky, I kinda passed out a lot.

Grinning at Natka, hoping she'd heard it all without getting confused, Lizzie laughed a bit and added And I'm still rambling and babbling, as you can tell. My biggest weakness...

"It's not a weakness, it's a strangth if anything. proves you have a way with words," Natka grinned back at her.

"Good to hear about Chris. And yeah, I heard about the boy..." she trailed off, frowning at that terrible incident.

"Wait... what? You had amnesia?" she asked incredulously. "How did that happen? It didn't have any permanent effect on you, did it? You're OK now?"

"We relaly haven't seen each other for too long," natka had a sip of her orange juice. "We should definitely try to make our conversations more frequent," she added with a hopeful smile. "It's good having a friend like you, you know."

Aww Lizzie said and hugged Natka tightly. I'm glad I have you too. She truly was, Natka had been her very first friend on Hogwarts Express, and she felt like a safe haven. Like meeting an old friend, their friendship never changing no matter how long time they were apart.

Lizzie's grin got bigger as she said No I'm alright now. I'm not completely sure, cause as I said it was amnesia, but I think I fainted and then I can't remember much.. I have a few glimps from the hospital wing, with Chris running into the room after hearing about me... she giggled at the memory. And it was all very scary. It was like.. she tried to find the right words for it. Imagine someone walking behind you and erasing your tracks.. I could remember what happened just a few seconds ago, but one minute... I was lost. I remember that I couldn't recall how I got to the hospital wing, I wasn't sure what was outside the doors. She shuddered and then smiled weakly. I have no memory of what caused it though.

She pulled herself together, trying not to remember the look on Chris face when she'd said Who are you? as he arrived to see if she was ok. That memory was something the amnesia could have gladly taken. Yeah so I got some potion eventually, and then Chalice told me I freaked out a bit. But here I am, healthy as a horse. Rolling her eyes she added But I have kind of a hard time remembering some things still. Had to work for days to get the right name to fit with the right professor again...

Taking a bite of the chicken that was served for lunch, Lizzie chewed and smiled, then swallowed and said Yes I really think we should! I hardly see you around anywhere. Where are you often to be found? she asked with a grin.

Natka listened to her friend's story with wide eyes. Her vivid description on the amnesia was anything but pleasant.

"That must have been so hard on you, and everyone around you," she commented. "I'm so sorry I wasn't there, I had no idea..."

In reality, Natka suspected she had been too drawn into her books to pay attention too much to what was going on around her, in the so called 'real-world'. she vowed she would change this - living solely on fine print was not healthy.

"Where can I be found? Well, the Library is always a good place to start..." she replied with a grin. "Or my dorm, I often have peace and quiet there. And you?"

Lizzie nodded thoughtfully, remembering and recalling. Yeah it was pretty terrifying. But of course you couldn't know about it sweetie she quickly answered Natka. It wouldn't really have made such a big difference anyway, I was all dizzy and somewhere between conscious and unconscious the entire time... She shrudded again.

I would have guess on the library Lizzie grinned. You truly are a book worm, aren't you? Well I haven't been there since the boy... She cleared her throat, eyeing Natka, then changed and said Well I don't think I'd be let inside your dorm. First, I dunno where the Ravenclaw common room is. Second, I don't know the password. And third, I would probably get caught by some older ravvie student and thrown out at once.. She shook her head, laughing quietly. Well when I'm not in the dorm or the common room, I like to spend time by the lake, or I walk along the pathways.. But now that it's so cold outside I prefer to stay inside. I'm usually in here or in class.. or sometimes I visit the room of requirement too.

"It's a niusance sometimes, isn't it? The fact they don't allow students from different houses into other common rooms," natka sighed regretfully. "I mean, I guess it makes sense, but it's annoying when you have friends in other houses and you barely get to see them."

She stared out the window for a moment.

"Yeah, I like going outside too, but you're right, of course, it really is too cold right now," Natka agreed. "And of course I'm a bookworm, I haven't been sorted into Ravenclaw for nothing," she joked.

Lizzie grinned as she thoughtfully studied her fork, lost in thought for a moment. Yes it is a bit sad really. They should have some kind of common common room, if you understand what I mean? Like, one that's open to everyone in the school. But I guess that's really what this she gestured around the great hall is for. I'm glad they don't force us to eat at our own house tables though.

yeah I've always wondered about that. Should I be brave because I'm in gryffindor? She shrugged with a smile. But it is true thought that ravenclaws are kinda smart.

"I think the Sorting Hat just sees through to your personality, to what you are at that moment and what sort of person you could become in the future, and places you in the adequate house according to that," Natka said. "And, of course there's the case of some students desperately not wanting to be in one of the four houses. You know, like that thing with Harry Potter? When he was being sorted, he was whispering "not Slytherin, not Slytherin," under his breath, and even though the Hat had been considering to put him there, he ended up in Gryffindor instead."

Lizzie looked surprized at Natka. I didn't know that! I read some about him earlier, there was some book dedicated to him that I found in the library, but that part wasn't in it I think. Interesting. But I guess it all depends on how you are.. She smiled and twisted a strand of her hair between her fingers. So what did you do during the break? she asked, reffering to the week off school that she'd been away skiing.

"Oh, I went home," Natka smiled back. "We went to the mountains for four days, I tried snowboarding... and I've still got bruises to prove it," she laughed. "But it was fun, and it was good to see my parents again after such a long while," she added. It was true; she had missed them quite a lot.

And although she did enjoy the snow and the mountains, she could truthfully say she was glad to be back. Because, really, there was only so much time you could spend on the slopes and not get a bit bored with them. At least, in Natka's eyes.

Lizzie smiled excitedly at Natka. Wow, I tried snowboarding too! And I've got about a million bruises too so I know what you're talking about she laughed. I had my brother help me, thought he rarely even speaks to me any more. He said I suck at it but I think I did pretty ok. at least I stood all the way down. No matter it was the easiest pist, I didn't fall at all the last two times. She had enjoyed it quite a bit, showing John that she wasn't just a little 12-year-old barbie doll.

Did I tell you about John, my brother? He used to be such a wonderful brother, but now he's turning criminal and stuff. She made a face and drank some pumpkin juice. He's haning out with weird people. Well, there's not much I can do really. Just let mum and dad handle it.

She decided to change the subject, and instead grinned at Natka. So how are you doing on the boyfriend side of life? she giggled.

Natka blushed slightly, choosing to take a careful bite of her toast and taking the shelter of her curtain of hair which this action offered.

"Nothing, I guess," she replied, still feeling a bit strange discussing this.

She relaly wasn't that comfortable around guys, or talking about them much. Although, if she were to be honest with herself, she supposed that with Lizzie such conversations would be filled iwth more colour and humour than she could have imagined.

"Criminal?" she asked, referring to John. "Wow, I wouldn't have thought anyone in your family would be so... hardcore?" she wondered at her own choice of words there.

Lizzie giggled slightly at Natka's surprized expression when she mentioned John. Yeah neither would I. But apparently he's more... hardcore.. than I thought.

While speaking she wondered about Natka's shy way to react to talking about boys. She could clearly tell this wasn't the girl's favourite subject. She decided to leave the subject, but first just added I can tell you don't wanna talk about this, which is just fine with me. Just think about this; last term I didn't know a single guy, I never spoke to anyone except my closest girl friends. This term... tada! I have Chris, and two of my best friends are boys. Jesse and Marcus are great people, I'm sure you'd get along just fine with them. So, don't lose hope lovey she smiled friendly, then dropped it.

Hey you know what I think we need? I think we need to do something fun. This lunchtable is much too quiet and slow, we should go do something fun! She watched Natka eagerly, hoping that the girl didn't get her wrong and think that she was boring and slow. What I mean is, we could totally have this conversation in, let say, the room of requirement? Something exciting always happens there. Or just walk around the castle.. What do you think? She grabbed an apple nearby and waited for Natka to respond.

Natka just smiled gratefully in response to Lizzie's comment concerning boys, and her understanding for Natka's shyness.

"Hmm..." she looked around, seeing what Lizzie meant about the lunchtable being too slow and quiet. "Yeah, the Room of Requirement sounds like a good idea," she replied with a grin, hoping that hanging out with Lizzie more would bring her out from her recent low moods.

She was almost certian it would - after all, this was Lizzie she was with.
