| | |  Professor Truebridge's Office
The first thing you notice about this office is the exceptionally large desk, which, if you look closer; seems to have unusual scuffmarks on its surface. Perhaps it serves a less mundane purpose than simply a desk? A large and comfortable looking chair sits behind it; obviously this is Ethan’s chair though you will rarely find him sitting in it.
Three smaller, yet no less comfortable looking chairs are arranged facing the desk, ready for any visiting students to take a seat. While waiting you might notice a large bookcase along one wall; though there are no books on it. Instead it is brimming with photo frames. Pictures of Ethan in his days as a student at WADA, one of him as a thirteen year old in Slytherin robes, a selection of him a few years ago with various dragons in the background, one of him on a muggle sailing ship, another on stage dressed in tights and holding a skull and one of him in Egypt working with curse breakers. An old looking gramophone sits on the bookcase with a selection of records stacked haphazardly to one side, various eras of music are represented; of both the wizarding and the muggle variety. On the walls his OWL and NEWT results are proudly displayed alongside certificates proclaiming his knowledge and familiarity with various Dragon breeds.
A large basket sits in one corner, and a slight snoring sound can often be heard coming from this direction where Ethan’s chihuahua puppy makes its bed.
The walls and ceiling are blue for reasons Truebridge hasn’t discovered, but he is content with the décor for now.
But where is the professor? | |

"Oh, uh, thanks..." she fumbled with the stack, almost dropping a few on the floor. This she had not expected. Looking down she noticed they had been signed. Akwardly pushing her sunglasses up to the top of her head, Miranda began to read the writing. It was indeed Professor Truebridge's autograph.
She snorted. Talk about being conceited. Did he actually go around handing these out?
Her head snapped up when the professor started to talk about the music. Miranda's eyes widened at the sight of the West Side Story record. Her mother sang those tunes at home from time to time.
"Um, I haven't heard those others Chim..something... she stammered. Maybe she should just take the whole stack and herself back to the Yearbook headquarters "I don't know sir, you pick!" she grinned akwardly "I went to school with one of the band members." Ethan noted, putting down the Chimaeras album and deciding on West Side Story. He placed it on the player and the opening bars of 'I feel pretty' began to play. ...Bom Bom Bom!
"Will those pictures be sufficient? I feel I've had enough pictures taken of me to last a lifetime." He turned around and looked at the young Hufflepuff, seeing her push her glasses back, which reminded him he needed new ones. Quote:

Kayla moved inside the office and gave Miranda a bright smile before turning her gaze to Professor Truebridge. "I'm sorry to interrupt" she looked at the pictures and raised an eyebrow. "I know I was supposed to come and see you about this ages ago but I've been...er busy. But I was wondering if I could still borrow that book on Dragons?"
Funny, for as long as she can remember she had always wanted to be a curse breaker and now all of a sudden she was starting to think of the different options. Thanks to Professor Kazimeriz and Professor Morgan, she looked around Professor Truebridge's office and it really was rather impressive...except for the music. "Did you really know one of The Chimaeras'?"

I have several depending on the field of research you are most interested in. Or would you prefer a more generic volume to begin with?" Ethan checked the time and frowned slightly, he'd have to go soon, it wouldn't do to be late for a duel with Kazimeriz.
"Ah, yes I really did. From my days at WADA."

"Oh I am sorry Professor, I seem to be keeping you from something. I can come back another time, if that's better for you?" She started to hedge towards the door but she couldn't help from commenting, "That is so cool. The lead singer was totally hot and the guitarist wasn't half bad either!" Oh was that something she should be saying to a Professor? "Uh...well their album 'The Witching Hour' was their best by far." Okay maybe she should leave now before she made more of an idiot of herself.

Ethan opened his desk drawer and took out his gloves, pulling them on. Where was his jacket? Hmm. Why was it that all his things were going missing? Tom Ford sunglasses... three pairs now, Tommy Hilfiger Jacket.. at least he had his wand, he'd be needing Loretta. He took out said wand and a polishing kit and began cleaning and polishing the wood.
"They were fairly popular." Ethan agreed with a shrug. It was awkward, considering he knew them, but at least Kayla was a Chimaera fangirl and not one of his. He held his wand up to the light and frowned at it for a moment before continuing to prepare his wand.

Ethan shook his head and put his wand polishing things away. Of course he wasn't eager, would anyone be eager to duel someone they considered to be their mentor? A man who had taught him so much of what he knew? He had accepted because he could not see anyway out of it without embarassing Alessia and making himself out to be whiny and ridiculous in the process. What had he been supposed to say? Alessia Lupa you scare me and you destroyed my cheese man while attempting to coerce me into taking you out for pie? Zan liked Alessia well enough, but she was frightening!
None of this showed on his face however and he checked himself over again before holstering his wand and nodding at Miranda, "If you'd like to join us you are welcome, but otherwise would you mind shutting the door once you have chosen a picture? I shall be in the dueling arena if anyone has need of me."
Truebridge turned to Kayla and followed her through the door.
"So we can stop in and get that book for you from the gallery."

She hoped the bandmembers weren't as dangerous as the beast. Maybe it was time to leave, she did not want to listen to the musical incase Truebridge decided to fill the room with those tunes. Oh no He had indeed put on the West Side Story record. Miranda's eyes grew wide and in an effort to block out the music, she did what she did best. Talk. "Uh, yes these pictures will be really good thankyou very much Mr. Truebridge I'm going to go now thankyou for your time" Miranda rambled as she stumbled too the door. Right then, there came a knock on the door and without pausing, Miranda rushed out the door almost knocking into the Hufflepuff prefect. "Oh sorry, ok bye now!" she called and dissapeared from view.
