Upon entering through the heavy wooden door, you step into a large, brightly lit room. The walls are painted in a warm, chocolate brown, broken up by sheer white curtains while the plain wood floor is accented with a stark white rug. A sweet fragrance reminiscent of autumn leaves lingers here as a surprising draft comes through the open window.
Off to the side sits a large mahogany desk lined with pictures. Behind her desk, the wall is obscured entirely by floor to ceiling bookshelves. Her Meritorious Service awards from St. Mungo’s hang on the adjacent wall surrounded by family photos. Next to her desk stands Vincent’s cage, though you’ll seldom find him inside.
From her desk, Professor Morgan can easily see the sunset and this is where you will find her going over her lesson plans. The small fireplace on the opposite wall is surrounded by oversized, cream colored leather chairs with beautiful soft, tiffany blue pillows.
Everything about this tranquil space seems to draw you to it. Don’t fight it. Come inside and relax for awhile. Just remember to knock first.
Iliana was feeling in the best of moods. So far she had already meet a handful of the nicest students and they seemed to just keep getting nicer. "Let me see how to explain it." she said, thinking for a moment before speaking again. "Well, it was my love for teaching that brought me to Beauxbatons and Arithmancy was just a bonus. Its a subject that I've always loved. But nothing could ever really compare to Magical Creatures as far as I was concerned and so when Hogwarts had this position open, I couldn't possibly refuse." she explained. "What about you, young man?" she asked, trying to remember if she had caught his name. "What do you like about Magical Creatures?"
Barry was shocked by her next question. That was a tough one. He had never actually attended COMC apart from that year mr chicken bone guy was teaching and he hadn`t liked the subject. He was giving it a second chance now and he said "What I really like about COMC is........ the fact that it helps you be observent to everything around you".
Then he saw as Domnic again approached this hut "He`s fast" he muttered
Cam nodded his head after she asked if he had a love for animals ever since birth. It was too bad the family never really had a pet other than spiders and ants around the house back at home. His thoughts were interrupted by a person knocking at the door. Turning back to his attention at the professor he held up his cage for the pygmy puffs and gave her a nervous look. He really didn't know what to say. How do I explain this clearly...
"I'm Cameron Karsten, and I'm a first year here. And yeah, I guess I had a liking to animals since I was a child." He glanced to the orange, white, and green pygmy puffs. "I have a question too. My pygmy puffs, I don't know what to feed 'em! The only thing I have seen one eat was a spider."
She probably knew the answer to the question. Professor Morgan was a professor.
"Well Mr. Karsten, its lovely to meet you. I thought that might have been the case." she said, with a wink. She peered inside the small cage as he lifted it up and said, "Well with pygmy puffs, you certainly can't go wrong with spiders. They'll eat just about anything though, so feel free to give them any scraps of food or whatnot that you can salvage from the dining hall. They don't need much, as small as they are, and eventually you will learn what each of them likes the best."

Dominic was a tad startled when the voice that beckoned him to enter was not Brooks' voice at all. Sure he should have known from the feast that there was a new Creatures Professor, but the fifth year had quite a number on his mind since then.
Opening the door, he took notice of the quaintly decorated office; not at all what he would imagine someone involved with creatures to decorate their office as. Everything about it was welcoming and friendly. Except for one thing - actually several things. They were in the name of several students lingering and chatting, which meant a couple of choices: 1) Come back later 2) muffliato again or 3) Make the professor kick everyone out.
"Um. Hello Professor... ?" Oh yes, Dominic had evidently not remembered her name, but my was she pretty looking. Uhm, right... back on topic. "My name is Dominic Denton, a Fifth year Hufflepuff, and well," he gulped glancing nervously around again. "Do you think it'd be too much trouble to have a moment alone with you?"

Anything? Was she serious? He was trying to make them eat all sorts of food in the summer but it didn't seem to make them any happier at all. Or it was because his pygmy puffs were just too picky on their food. So little but so picky! He eyed his pets and raised an eyebrow. That prankster shop really needed to get some more disciplined pygmy puffs before trying to sell them.
There were delicious food in the Dining Hall so he could go experiment there later. Later though. He still had a few to say to Professor Morgan. A yellow puffball-ish thingy sat on her shoulder.
"Is that a pygmy puff? But it do--," he was interrupted by the sound of the door opening. Cam turned around to see who it was but could only manage to open his mouth in horror. Dominic Denton.

What. Was. He. Doing. Here!? Deeep breaths. Heeehuuuuheeehuuuheeee. But really what was the guy doing here? He was almost about to mentally barf after thinking that Dominic would think about Care of Magical Creatures. No, no, no, no! The name "Dominic Denton" and "care" would never, ever go together. That was just plain... disgusting! The little boy's eyes started to glare like crazy at him.
"Yoouuuuuuu." He made his voice a whisper so only the meanie could hear it. Why would he need some alone time with Professor Morgan?

A third year Ravenclaw knocked at the Professor's door. She was anxious about what she is about to expect. She didn't have CoMC classes before. This was her first time. She is feeling nervous, yet excited. Will Professor Morgan be nice? She wondered. There are tons of questions running through her head.
She then waited patiently for the Professor to open her door.

Via walked out of the castle to find herself on the ground of Hogwarts for the first time since they arrived. She better check on the new Professor for their care of Magical creatures. Well, she still remember the first care of magical creature they had at Belle's. She saw a girl, probably the same year as she was standing outside the door. The girl had already knocked and Via wasn't going to knock again. She waited there with the girl. glancing around, Via smiled. She was out again and it felt nice.

"Thank you" he said. Then hegot up as people started piling in "That means its time for me to be going now. It was nice meeting you professer and I hoped you think good of me Barry Weasley. Goodbye" he said and with that he left the hut towards somewhere else in the grounds

She decided to ask. "Mr. Denton, I would be happy to set an appointment for you to come back when I'm less busy...or is there something that we can discuss right now?" she asked.

I rescued him from the Snidget Reservation that I worked for when he was just a baby." she explained. "In fact, Mr. Karsten if after a week or so, you notice that you are still having trouble getting them to eat properly, just bring them back to me and I will give them a thorough examination."

When Professor Morgan, heard yet another knock at the door, she looked over at the Hufflepuff Prefect and gave him an apologetic look. She wasn't lost. No matter what ANYONE said. NOT LOST.
Weeelll... Maybe just a teeny bit displaced. Wandering up to the a rather cute little hut infront of her, Poppy gave it a sideways look. It looked quite innocent. Maybe it was the CoMC teacher's hut.
That was probably right. Walking right up to the door, she knocked twice, took a step backwards... And almost fell into the mud.
Whoo, that was close.

While waiting for the Professor to respond - hopefully with some answers as to how he could possibly empty a room, Dominic mistakenly let his golden eyes wander to who was in the room. Thankfully one boy - Barry Weasley Ravenclaw - left the office, but that wasn't of Dominic's main concern. Oh no, it was the sound of coldness and 'Youuuuu', which caused chills to run up the fifth year's spine. Cameron; stupid first year tempered boy he had met in Diagon Alley.
Taking a deep breath in, the fifth year did what he knew best. He nodded curtly at the boy before turning back to face the prettiful Professor Morgan.

Except that was the sound of not one - not two - but THREE knocks at the door. It seemed that everyone wanted to meet this new professor, as she was quite popular. But Dominic was determined to follow the bidding of the ancient one. No first year was going to stand in his way of Hufflepuff Pride.
"Well, Professor Morgan," the fifth year began in his normal tone, before taking a seat in front of her desk and leaning forward to whisper to her. "An appointment for a later time might be necessary, but I suppose there is no harm in you reading this yourself." He continued thoughtfully; after all, he was just supposed to share the sonnet with each individual professor... how he did this, was his own creativity, right?
"It's just a little something I wrote... to erm... welcome you to Hogwarts," he nodded briefly, before uttering an imperturbable charm on the parchment he removed from his robe pocket, so that only Professor Morgan could read it. Handing it to the Magical Creatures Professor, he awaited her response...
SPOILER!!: Yes, that's right, you kiddles charries can't see this... bwaha, fifth year is fun cause you know all these charms!
When disgraced in the eyes of Kaz
And beneath my bravery I weep,
With deaf ears and my tearless cries,
And looking up to the dias, curse my sleep;
To wish upon me one more chance,
Featuring all whom make least,
Desire in us all to dance,
With that let us contend with deist
Yet these thoughts, I find myself despising,
How I think with glee and then to you,
Like climbing these endless stairs and always arising,
But from the clouds to the grounds, and then the loo
For no matter how much pride or wealth I bring,
That I scorn to be as half as worthy as you kings.

The thing wasn't a pygmy puff? Snidget. Snidget. Cam was sure he read something about that in Quidditch through the Ages. Some sort of flying creature or something. He continued listening to her about how she once had a pink pygmy puff and it seemed to have a healthy diet. If that was true then how come his pygmy puffs didn't want to eat anything?! Skimming through one of those creature books could possibly help.
He went closer to her desk, juuuust to observe the little snidget.

Whenever he would face the guy every now and then, glare. Glare. Glare. Cam opened his mouth again in surprise when the boy took out his wand. Was Dominic going to hurt Professor Morgan? Not on his watch! He would have tackled that guy right to the floor if she wasn't in the room. Denton handed her a parchment and he was just dying to know what had written inside of it.
He really wasn't observing Vincent but would take a glance at the parchment every few seconds. In fear of possibly getting caught he took a few steps back and tried to memorize those two lines that were in it. More of like... a poem, he didn't know for sure.
Hm... why would he give her a parchment with a small poem on it? AHA! Cam knew it all of a sudden, it was so clear. Dominic liiiked Professor Morgan and he cast like a love spell on her and gave her a love poem! Yes, that was it. He must tell everybody! Everybody!
"Byee Professor Morgan. Nice meeting you! And you too Vincent," he said before leaving the hut.

Professor Morgan heard yet another knock at her door and smiled. It was such a treat being able to meet all of these new students. She certainly didn't get a welcome like this when she started at Beauxbatons. "Come in, come in. Its open." she called out.

"Well my door is certainly always open for you, Mr. Denton." she said as she took the piece of parchment she was handed. "What is wonderful gesture!" she exclaimed, tickled pink that he would think of such a thing. She quickly read over the poem and tried to control her facial expression from revealing the sudden confusion that she felt. The poem sounded so sad, so defeated. Not like a 'Welcome' at all. When she was finished reading, she sat it down on her desk and looked him in the eyes. "Mr. Denton, that was a beautiful poem. Thank you so much for sharing it with me." Having said that, she pulled out a small piece of parchment of her own and picked up her quill. Then she scribbled a quick note and handed it over with his poem.

She couldn't put her finger on what it was but she had the strongest feeling that something was going on with Dominic. If only she could figure it out.

Hearing someone shifting over by Professor Morgan's desk, Dominic looked over towards the little evil first year boy, attempting to decipher what he was up to. That was when something - though unclear to the fifth year - dawned on the boy as he suddenly had the urge to leave. And quickly too.
Eying the boy cautiously as he dashed from the hut, Dominic shook it off and turned back towards Morgan. He would have to figure out what firstie evil boy was up to later...

Iliana gave Cameron a questioning look as he stood up beside her desk. "Something the matter, Cameron?" she asked, holding the poem just out of his point of view. She smirked at him and then waved as he turned to leave. "Goodbye. Lovely meeting you as well."
Smiling proudly upon hearing her greeting, Dominic couldn't help but allow the warmth to radiate through him. She certainly did have a way to make students, even those who weren't entirely bookworms, feel welcomed. But his smile quickly faded when her expression of excitement turned quickly to one of ... confusion!? Disappointment!? Oh noes! This wasn't how things were supposed to work out at all.
Gulping nervously, he nodded and offered a fake smile towards her when she agreed to it being a 'beautiful poem', but her tone said there was more.
Collecting the poem and the note that she had written and handed with his own parchment, Dominic's eyes narrowed as he read her neat cursive handwriting. She knew; that was it! He was doomed for and if he stuck around then perhaps she would see him an unfit prefect... And turn him into the Headmaster. NO! He couldn't let her do that! He would have to leave, as there was no choice. No other way... He had to finish the task he was assigned.
"No Professor Morgan, that will be all," the fifth year told her, attempting to speak in a relatively calm tone. Or at least one to be perceived as such. "Thank you for your time and I should be off now. See you in your lesson," he smiled politely towards her as he rose and left her hut. Two more professors on the grounds - he could do this!

Via heard a voice coming form the inside say the door's open and they could get in. She smiled. It was the voice of the new Professor. Via opened the door and peered at the room. Oh, There were a lot of students inside. The Professor had been welcomed by lot of students now. Via just entered as a higher student left the cabin. She glanced around her. This was her first time inside professor's place. "Good day Professor Morgan," Via greeted. "i was just wandering around and i decided to come and welcome you at Hogwarts." She smiled at the professor although she was still feeling a bit shy for she haven't done this before.

Entering with the girl just behind her some moments ago, she had a look around the room then grinned. "This would be an interesting year", she muttered. "Oh..Nice day to you, Professor Morgan", she greeted her new teacher with a smile.

She then glanced back at the girl that was behind her a while back. The girl wasn't familiar to her at all. She was completely new company. Although, she had seen the girl once, she didn't have a chance to know her. Curious about the girl, she smiled at her then said, "Uhm..Hello, I'm Angela, by the way, Angela Blaize. Uhm..what is your name? Is it your first time to be in this class?.." She waited for the girl's response.

Via saw the girl smiled at her and so she smiled back. She was a new face to her. Then the girl introduced herself, "Hello. I'm Vivianne," Via said beaming at the Angela. She shook her head when she asked her if it's er first time in Care of Magical creatures class. "No actually," she answered, "I've had it since first year back at Belles."

"Hmmm." Via said, "It's a great subject. You'll really have a hands on experience with different creatures." It wasn't her best subject but she enjoys it.

Feeling the sense of urgency in young Dominic actions, Iliana decided not to press the issue further. He was old enough to decide for himself whether or not he needed someone to talk to. That being said, she would have to remember to keep a watchful eye on this one. Just in case. "Alright Mr. Denton, if you really must go..." she started. "Thank you once again for the poem and have a lovely day." she called out to him as he left.

"Yes, Professor Morgan," Via said politely. "I am Vivianne Nat. A third year Gryffindor. And i will definitely attend your class, Professor."
She was really looking forward to outdoor classes. "I wasn't planning to stay for long Professor," she said. "It was definitely nice to see you in person before we actually begin our lessons." She was in a hurry to go back to the castle again and she didn't know why. "I guess i'll just see you at your class, Professor Morgan." She smiled at her. Via just hoped she'll do good in her class...

"Very nice to meet you, Miss Nat. I myself was a Gryffindor during my time here at Hogwarts. Truth be told, so was my entire family." she told her, proudly. "Well, I will see you soon then. Goodbye."

It was nice to know she was in Gryffindor before. Does that tells that Gryffies are her favourite? Via didn't thought so. She was fair enough by her looks. She'll be a lovely Professor, she thought. "Thank You, Professor. I'll go ahead."
Waving goodbye at Angela, Via opened the door leading to the grounds and left the hut. She headed back to the castle.
Noticing that Professor Morgan was finally free, Candi sprung on the opportunity to introduce herself. "Hello, I'm Candi Clodfelter," She said enthusiastically shaking her hand, " I can't wait until your class begins, I have always have a special spot in my heart for animals." She announced, " I have a cat named Kai upstairs, she is beautiful really, I hope I can introduce you to her sometime."

Iliana couldn't help but giggle at the exuberant Hufflepuff as she bounded up towards the door. She was adorably energetic and was the first student to actually shake her hand. "Well hello there Miss Clodfelter, its so nice to meet you!" she said with a smile. "Please come inside and make yourself comfortable."
Noticing that Vincent was starting to get restless again, Iliana lifted him off of her shoulder and set him on her desk. She laid out a few more seeds in front of him and pat him on his tiny head. "You sit here and stay put." she said, taking a seat nearby and turning to face the girl once again. "So dear, tell me about your kitty. Have you had her long?" she asked.
Ross walked down towards care of magical creatures with a hole in his heart and he thought the only way that he could heal it a little bit is going to see if there was anything he could do for his favourite class care of magical creatures but he was still missing Astrid. Knocking on the door he sighed waiting for it to be answered by the new teacher Professor Morgan.
