"Excuse me, one moment." She said, hearing another knock at the door. "Come in, the door open." she called out. |
Ross jumped out of his daze and walked in "Hello miss" he said "My name is ross" |
"Nice to meet you, Ross. I'm Professor Morgan. Please make yourself comfortable." She said, motioning toward the big, comfy chair next to her. "How can I help you today?" she asked. |
Ross decided that he should listen to this teacher so walking over to the comfy chair he looked around the room and noticed various things stationed around it "Well i am here to offer my help on anything that needs done" Ross said as he made himself comfortable on the chair that he was now sitting on. |
Out of the corner of her eye, Iliana saw that Vincent was finished with his treat. She whistled at him and smiled as he flew back over and perched on her shoulder. "Well Ross, I really don't have anything that needs done at the moment." she said, touched by the offer. "But I will definitely come find you whenever something comes up. Thank you." she said. "Tell me, do you plan to attend my lessons?" |
"Of course" Ross said truthfully "Care of magical creatures is my favourite lesson. |
William wandered around outside, wondering where he should begin his homework. he hated working inside, so stuffy and drafty yet out here, the sun was somewhat shining, the fresh air was clearing his rattled brain and he was on a mission of sorts. After listening to the ramblings of his cousin in one of her long winded letters to him he figured the best place to start would be here at the CoMC class. Of course, it would help if he could properly articulate his wording in a way that wouldn't seem redundant. Sighing he stopped at the door, his feet shuffling slightly as he prepared himself for his first confrontation with the professor. Hopefully she would be able to help him, if not then he'd have to go back into the strange ghost filled castle and try his luck elsewhere. Knocking a few times on the door he leaned back against his heels and waited for admittance. As he waited he dug inside his pockets looking for the lone chocolate frog he always kept there when he got nervous or shy - which was always. Unwrapping it he put the discarded wrapper in his pocket and popped the frog into his mouth, chewing quickly in case he was allowed in within seconds. |

"Kai is amazing!" Candi said exuberantly," I have had him since our last break, I went on a vacation to Hawaii with my family and found him there. I was walking along the beach when I saw him. He was only about 6 weeks old and my theory is that he lost his family. I took him to vet and surprisingly he was in perfect health! I named him Kai because it means Ocean in Hawaiian. He hasn't left my side since that fateful day and is a spoiled rotten little prince. Do you have any pets?" |

Chris walked across the grounds to the Care of magical crearures profeessor's hut. he knocked waiting for a reply |

The door opened just as he finished chewing. With a warm slightly shy smile William entered the hut and nodded at the others. "I thought I'd introduce myself and see if perhaps you could help me. I'm William Cullack by the way." He said in a small voice. He was always nervous around authority figures. "You see, I got this card in History of Magic, but I can't seem to find any information on it." He held it out, showing the name, Lord Stoddard Withers. "I figured you could give me a clue as to what he did. All I know is that he breed flying horses and that he died in 1769." He stopped, hoping he wouldn't get into trouble for asking another professor for help. Second guessing was his way of trying to calm himself, but he was in too much now, there was no stopping him. "I guess what I'm trying to ask is, is there anything you know about him?" He asked, his blue eyes pleading with her. |

Chris walked into the hut after he was called in. "Hello Professor Morgan, Im Chris Potter." Chris smiled as he walked across the room and shook her hand. "I was just wondering do youo think we might have an animal hospital on the grounds this year?" he smiled as he tried to remember the details. "Um you know where we could go and help the magcial creatures and such." |
"There's so many reasons I can't choose one," muttered Daphne as they finally arrived. The murmurs of visitors warned her to stay back but the initial intention had been to meet the Professor. Sweeping a golden glance at Celandine, Daphne sighed. "Should we knock? Or silently slip in...?" Why did she just whisper that conspiratorially? And what was with this sudden shifty mood? |

"We knock of course," Celandine responded, using Daffneee's hand to knock politely on the door, her voice at a regulated tone and yet loud enough to be heard within, "What kind of saddles do you think are better?" Cela asked Daphne curiously, "I read a few books on the subject of saddle care and it got me thinking that probably the saddles here haven't been conditioned in a while. And Daphne it was a good idea you had about coming down here because we can help condition the saddles and learn more about saddle care in the process. You are so smart Daaaaffneee!" Cela chattered. |
Daphne stared incredulously at her fist as it knocked on the heavy wooden door with the aid of Celandine. "What are you doing?" she asked more her own hand than Cel. Then turning her head, it was Cel's face turn to be stared in disbelief. "I beg your pardon?" If Daphne didn't know any better, somehow she was being placed as the person responsible for this entire shenanigan. "Yes, I am smart but what are you trying to--," muttered the blond trailing off, waving her captured fist from side to side. "Do..you...mind--returning my hand that is." Personal space being personal after all. And wait a minute--what about conditioning--Had she just been tricked into doing manual labor?! "I'm sorry...what?" squeaked Daphne in a panic. Oh. No. No. She didn't use her hands for such things. Daphne had Davis to take care of such things. |

Cela let go of Daphne's hand after giving it a comforting and almost apologetic squeeze, "I'm going to need someone who is good at following instructions and smart to read from the books while I condition the saddles." Cela added helpfully. Sheesh. Slytherins were so much easier to work with. "Daphne your hair looks almost as nice as mine today." Cela added thoughtfully before knocking politely on the door again and stepping back behind her Gryffindor friend. |

Daphne gawked at Celandine's backside with a mixture of shock and disbelief. The nerve! Her hair would beat anyone's any day! She would have gone on to proclaim so if the Care of Magical Creatures didn't prove to be so efficient and had immediately ushered them inside. Not willing to be the only one without manners, the Gryffindor girl placed a hand on Cel's back and stepped inside with her. "Good day, Professor," chirped Daphne glancing sideways at the Ravenclaw friend. "We are here to..." she paused, trying to find a suitable way of approaching things but quickly gave up. "Inquire about saddles." Miss Hopton sighed, slightly leaning into Cel. It couldn't be helped. Daphne had already stepped into this thing. |
Chris smiled at professor Morgan. "Then that will be very exciting then. Because last year i got to help take care off a baby unicorn. I will definatly be attending your first lesson." he laughed |

Now that he didn't feel as if he'd completely fail History he relaxed a bit."I'm sorry for cutting my visit short professor, but I must be starting on my homework now. I look forward to your first lesson. " He said bowing slightly, his blue eyes tinkling brightly. Now that he knew where to begin, the rest would be easy. |

Sometimes people forgot that Cela was a Toussaint too. "Yes, saddles." Cela agreed, "Daphne and I were talking, because she has all these history books," Cela jabbed Daphne's pockets gently, "And one of her books talks about historical use of saddles on flying horses in the wizarding world as well as for other flying creatures for those witches and wizards that aren't comfortable flying bareback; which got us to talking about how the saddles here probably haven't been used for a while, so Daphne had a good idea about coming to see you and we thought we might ask if you would like us to condition the gear that is here." Cela paused, "I was kind of interested to see what kind of leathers and hides react to which kind of solutions too. As well as how the altitude effects different saddles. Kind of an experiment in Care of Magical Creatures, History of Magic and Potions all in one." Cela took a breath and smiled brightly at the Professor. |
Oh, yes, the ruddy books, thought the blond giving her robes' pockets a cautionary pat. Celandine had said she had an hour to get them out of there before they returned to their normal size and...basically, have her robes implode. Nodding repeatedly, Daphne did not allow her awe to be too evident. It was true. She knew Celandine to be a Ravenclaw but because her general hobbies seemed to be--uh--questionable, it made it difficult to remember that her IQ was above average. "Studying the classes in theory is all good," added Daphne with a small smile, sweeping Cel' with a questioning look before proceeding. "But it's always important to lean from tactile experiences. The information reaches us more directly," enthused Hopton, shaking one hand in the air to gesture just how directly the info would be absorbed. "Don't you think? So..that's...what I was thinking..." Or, supposedly anyways. |
Maddox was lingering outside, holding Asmara in her cage in his right hand, pondering what to say. He had never had a professor this gorgeous before, but his owl was sick and she was the person he was supposed to go to. 'What can i say? Hello hottie mchots professor my owl is sick can you fix her? and waggle the eyebrows? No i think not.' He shook that thought off and pondered some more. Finally, the words came to him. He smiled and continued on to the door of her hut. Once he got there he knocked three times, and waited, (rather impatiently), for her to allow him to enter. |

"Tell me ladies… have you had much experience with leather saddles?" she asked, scribbling down some notes in her perfect cursive writing. "Now, they've been oiled not too long ago so you won’t have to worry about that." She said, walking over towards the closet and flinging the door open. She reached inside and came out with a large wooden bucket. "You’ll need this. My glycerin soap and conditioner are all right here, as well as fresh, clean rags and some brushes. Let me show you where I keep the saddles." She said, leading the girls out the door and quite possibly to a chore that weren't aware they had volunteered for. Once outside, she pointed towards the tack room and handed over the bucket along with the note she'd prepared. "Alright, looks like you're all set. Good luck and thanks so much." Quote:
