Come up to the door of Professor Dumont’s office and knock, the professor is usually in and is happy to talk to you about whatever you may have in mind, especially if it involves muggle studies.

As you walk through the door of Professor Dumont’s office, you are struck by the fact that at least part of this room appears not to be that magical at all, but looking rather like an office you might see on muggle television (had you ever had the chance to see muggle television, that is!) The main feature of the room is a very large wood desk with a nice comfortable chair behind it, a purple, cushiony chair. There are a couple chairs in front of the desk, which appears as though it may be oak, both these chairs are a dark green velvet, padded, and appear very comfortable as well. The rug on the floor is a forest green color, imprinted with a variety of flowers in many different colors, it is very relaxing and lovely, one of the prettiest rugs you could ever find. Professor Dumont inherited this rug from his family, it is an heirloom.

On the right hand wall you notice many photos calling to mind muggle entertainers. There are photos of various muggle rock bands from the ‘60’s and ‘70’s including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin (it turns out that Professor Dumont loves this type of music). There are pictures of Elvis Presley as well, along with such muggle icons as Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Perry Como, and many others.

On.the wall immediately behind the desk are some photos that are obviously personal. There are pictures of a very old castle with high pirouetting towers, this is Castle Dumont, Antonio’s family home. You gather that it is located somewhere in France, and you would be correct. You will also find many of the pictures that move and talk, wizarding pictures, there is a man and a woman in their 50’s, Professor Dumont’s parents. There is a new picture added this year, one which has a special place right over the Professor's desk. This picture is of a very pretty little girl, no more than 2 years old, with curly dark hair and a somewhat familiar look about her. You would be guessing correctly if you guessed that this is a picture of Professor Dumont's daughter, Antonia Michelle, who he has just become reunited with during the term break. But that's a whole other story, one you may or may not be lucky enough to hear (probably not!)

Along the left wall there is a long table which goes the length of the room. On this table are many muggle items to look at and perhaps even play with, including computers, video monitors that might even pick up muggle television (who knows?), video game systems, cell phones, iPods, skateboards, yoyos, Playdough, Legos, various board games, and a huge variety of books on all subjects. Your eyes fall on this table longingly, perhaps you might have the chance to play with some of these items yourself if you are very good some time, you never know!

"Are you okay?", Antonio asked. It looked like Jack had hit his head again. "Do you want to go back to the hospital wing?"

"He must feel threatened in some way," Antonio answered Barry. "Why else would he be trying to pick us off one by one? Because I think you're absolutely right about that, that's exactly what he seems to be doing. We need to all stick together, but first, find the missing piece of that letter and break the curse."

"Well, as long as you're feeling okay," Antonio told Jack.

Johns owl Blinky fly into Professor Dumonts room. It looked around the room to see if it could see Professor Dumont. He fly to Dumont and landed on his left shoulder.

Tied to the owl was a rolled up parchment.

Barry looked over to the professer "Sticking togehter, that may be but thenw wouldn`t one of us two be next? Or Reese? Or even the Moisers?" he asked, then looking at a owl fly in he said "Owl"

Antonio looked at the letter. "This isn't good," he said. He then shared the contents of the letter with everyone:

He looked at Barry and then at Jack. Why would John do this? They had no chance of ever ending the curse if the letter was destroyed!

"But why would he do that? He was a complete mess earlier when he saw Jose destroying the letter. It doesn't make sense for him to be doing it!" Sakura said, she could see that Dumont was wondering the same thing.

"Sure I guess." Sakura gracefully stood and went to follow Jack out into the corridor. She agreed to go for two reasons, firstly to make sure that if anything should happen to him she would know and secondly because she was curious as to why John was doing what he was doing.

Jack smiled, he took her waist and headed out to the grounds, specifically, the lake, he felt drawn to it.

Antonio sighed and watched as Jack and Sakura left. He hoped no more problems were going to come about as a result of this owl he had received, but he knew it was something between Jack and John themselves this time. Again, it was out of his hands. At least Sakura was there with Jack. Maybe there was a chance the letter could still be found.

John ran quickly to the only place he felt like he could hide from Jack. He knocked on the door. He hoped the Professor would let him in and tell him why Jack seemed to hate his guts. He knocked on the door again, He wanted to find out if the Professor had seen any owls lattely also as his owl Blinky seemed to have decided to disappeared.

Jack walked dejectedly back to the office to tell Dumont he'd failed, then "John! Don't run" Jack told him "I promise I wont hurt you" Jack promised "I just need to know how to get rid of the curse" Jack pleaded.

Barry watched as Jack and the others left. He was about to leave when Jack and John were at the door once again. He smilled " This is never going to finish" he muttered and he waited for the professer to open the door for the boys

Antonio opened the door and let the group back inside. "So, is everything straightened out, then?", he asked. "Is the letter intact, or what?". He looked at John.

John looked at the Professor. "What letter is this?" He wanted to know what was going on. Suddenly his owl caught his eyes. "Blinky where have you been?" He asked. he looked at Professor Dumont. "What's going on and why do you have my owl?" He wanted to know, the last time he had seen the owl was went he sent in out with a letter after that he hadn't seen it until today. He went upto it and stroked it, he looked at the wing and was sad. "Professor, look at the wing." He pointed to a big cut on the owls wing.

Piper was still sitting in her curled up position on the chair that Jack had vacated when he had run out after his brother, she was deep in thought about the curse, and they obviously needed to search the castle. However she was jarred from her thoughts when everyone came racing back into the room. She looked up at the owl, and her brow furrowed a bit.
"What happened to it?" She asked softly, as she peered over at it from her spot on the couch.

Antonio looked at the owl. "How did this happen?", he asked. "John, this is the note I received just a little while ago, the thing that has gotten your brother so upset. What do you know about this?"

He handed John the note. "Didn't you write this?", he asked.

He glanced at John's owl Blinky again. "She needs to be healed," he said softly. "Do you want me to take care of her?"

Jack looked blankly at the wall. He still hadn't been told about everything. Jack moved into the office and sat on the floor, placing his head in his hands he took a deep breath, he had to keep it together for John, he was always having to keep it together, he wanted to just... hit out, especially at this Claxton guy. Jack bit his lip and gasped in pain, he'd cut it, he sat there sucking the blood thoughtfully.

Antonio saw Jack bite his lip and a little blood flow out, he was really tense, that was for sure. He wanted to get to the bottom of whatever was going on, and really felt that Claxy Claxton was the cause of the Moiser brothers being cursed. Right now he wanted to find out if it was John or someone else who had sent that owl delivery, and what had happened to John's owl, anyway, why was its wing hurt? There was something not quite right here and he couldn't figure out what it was.

Jack kept pacing in silence "I... ugh" he growled softly "I just" Jack stopped, his head was starting to hurt

Jack took a deep breath and kept breathing "I need to.." Jack stopped, he needed something to take his anger out on, he needed to find somewhere that didn't have loads of people there, he was probably going to hurt someone, he didn't want it to be here, he put his arm to his mouth and bit his robes. It helped, a little.

Antonio saw Jack was upset and was looking for a way to calm down. "I understand you're angry and upset, and that's perfectly normal. At least we now have a pretty good idea of who is behind all this, though, and that's more than we knew before. Before we didn't know anything, now we can work at getting this thing solved. We have a better chance, now that we know who was behind this."
