Even though Agie was now sad, Lyra's comment about the goat shampoo made her smile. It really did stink, but it worked wonders.

Agie hugged on to Lyra's linked arm, "Promise?" She smiled, knowing that their time would come. Her eyes looked at the Mirror and she saw herself. Standing with a guy. She blinked... It was.." OH! Agie blushed. It couldn't be. Hopefully no one saw. "Umm, what do you see Lyra?"

As soon as they walked up to the mirror, Lyra's eyes looked at the image. She was expecting to see herself of course but...there was more. Her eyes widened as the smile fainted, parting her lips slightly.

There were two people, both whom it had been years since she had seen them. She gasped for air as her lips parted. She couldn't take her eyes off the images in the mirror. One one side was a handsome, tall, blonde male who's smile brightened her life completely, but on the other side was the one person who she missed the most.

Her height, same color of hair with features that could simply pass as being her sister. Her eyes flickered back and forth as she let go of Agie's arm, reaching out her hand to touch. "Ara," she whispered as her eyes began to water. Years of forgetting only to bring back a pain that she thought she was over with completely, her aunt.

Agie watched Lyra's face quickly change as she looked into the mirror. She tried to look deeply into the mirror, hoping to see what Lyra was seeing. It was no use. The same image was still there.

It was only until Lyra whispered her Aunts name, that Agie finally understood what she saw. "Oh Lyra!" She gasped, pulling her away from the mirror and into a hug.

Lyra felt arms pulling her back and away from the mirror. "NOOOOOO!" she cried as at first she tried to push away, then realized that it was Agie who grabbed her into a hug. Her hands balled into a fist as she was ready to punch anything that messed with her at the moment, Agie was only an exception.

Her head met Agie's shoulder as she began to cry, realizing what the mirror was. "I thought this was only in books and not real," she cried onto her best friend's shoulder. It was a memory that she tried to push back and forget as much as she could, only to remember on days she wanted too. "Oh Agie! You mean so much to me, don't ever forget that."

Agie clutched on to her best friend more while she tried to resist being pulled back. She hated seeing Lyra like this. She hated her hurting and not being able to do anything. Agie stroked her her as she started to cry. Now she was going to cry. Silent tears dripped down her face.

She tried to hide them, but her nose started to run making her sniff. "It's ok Lyra. We don't ever have to come back here." Agie wanted to smash that mirror to pieces for making her best friend hurt. "I wont! As long as you never forget how much I love you."

Lyra giggled through her tears. Great! She made Agie cry too. "I know you do," she said as she sighed, pulling back to wipe her face. "If I didn't know that by now then I am a fool." She squeezed her best friend once more before letting go.

She was okay now. "I just didn't expect to see...others with me," she said giggling at her first thoughts. "I only expected to see myself. I mean it's a full length mirror and we have been walking around for a while. I have to be able to see how my hair is." But she could see the look in Agie's eyes. "I would want to come here every day just to see those faces smiling back at me."

Wrups... uh-ohhhh... that was Lyra... the one who ended up with nose issues after the confrontation with Jack... but hang on...

"Were you crying?" Jake asked softly, emerging from behind some people. He didn't know what the mirror was, didn't realise it was special. He hadn't even looked at it yet.

Hmmm... some people didn't like their crying pointed out, but Jake didn't quite know that.

Kayla looked at Lyra and Agie with her mouth slightly open at the whole drama of it. And she wasn't sure whether to laugh or not? Perhaps not, it seemed to be a rather emotional moment for the girls. "That was...that was...well that was just touching girls. It almost brought a tear to my eye." Oops now she sounded like a mean old ogre or something with a heart of stone...eh maybe she was more like her grandmother than she thought.

Agie giggled too. Great, now her eyes were puffy. How embarrassing. She wiped her face and smiled at Lyra. Hoping no one noticed their little moment or tears. Yeah right!

"Me either!" She admitted. "It was weird." But then Lyra said something that made her frown. "I don't think that is a good idea." No good could come from that. It would just upset her more. It wasn't real.

Agie gasped. They HAD been seen. "I was NOT crying.... Something was in my eye."

"Like tears?" Jake asked, sincerely. "Or something sharp? That'd make me cry..."

Jake got a little closer. They had been crying, and Jake knew that because he'd been watching, but he hadn't gathered why.

"Erm..." stopping out of the girls' reach, Jake suddenly noticed how much taller they were than him. "Why were you crying?" he looked at Lyra too, but just for a second.

Her foot tapping increased. What was he doing! MOVE! She was screaming in her head. Let me see! She wanted to get back in front of the mirror so bad she could almost taste it. It was like manna from heaven and she wanted more of it, she needed more of it. Please, she wanted to beg, but she was far to proud for that. MOVE! MOVE! She was two seconds away from shoving him face first into the floor and stomping up and down on him till he stopped moving so she could get to the mirror when Anna's voice pulled her out of her vicious beat down of the boy Hugo.

Paris rolled her eyes. "I wasn't going to slap her," She said waving her hand at the Slytherin girl she didn't know. She didn't understand what Anna was talking about but she saw the tears and she understood that. She as going to cry if she didn't get back in front of that mirror. "He wasn't here Anna. There were reporters and stuff and they were asking me questions. I didn't see Cale," she tried to explain. Why was no on believing her.

She was going to get hysterical in a minute if Anna kept questioning her like she was crazy. She pointed at the mirror. "Right there. Reporters taking my picture and asking me questions." She itched to reach out and touch the mirror and get it all back. "It was right there," She blinked as a few tears rolled down her face. She saw it, it was real. She could feel the flash of the camera on her face. She heard their questions in her head.

She wiped at her face before anyone could see her crying. She looked up as the hufflepuff she didn't know tried to explain what the mirror was. "That wasn't a fantasy," She told him viciously. How dare her claim anything Paris wanted to do with her life as fantasy!

She looked down at the tiny little hufflepuff. She liked anyone she was taller than, but she knew it wouldn't last long. "Yeah ok. Sounds like a daunting task," She said with a raised eyebrow. If he had time to learn all the portrait's name then how in god's name were the Hufflepuffs ahead in the points?

She rolled her eyes when Dominic opened his big, fat mouth and just totally killed the mood. "Well next time we are all gathered in one place I will be sure to take a poll and see how we all got here so I can report it to you," She snapped. She wanted to beaters bat and beat him till candy came out! He was a self righteous pompous....Deep breath...Deep breath. You are in control of your emotions, they do not control you...good girl...

She looked up, "Jake," she nearly squeaked out in relief. Finally someone she didn't outright hate. Well she really liked Kayla, but she was that awful Dominic and that was causing her to picture him dying 1001 different ways. She ran over to Jake and threw her arms around him and squished him to her chest. "What are you doing here?" She asked holding him.

She smirked at Kayla's words. "Well you are certainly slumming it today dahling, but you are still fabulous." She winked at her. Kayla was really cool. "What party?" she asked. There wasn't a party unless Paris was there and since she hadn't been to a party yet there possible couldn't be a party at Hogwarts.

She glanced at the doorway when someone else walked in. It was Lyra, and oh lord right behind her like a lap dog was that cow Agie! Just great! Oh all the people in the world to be in a small room with it had to be Dominic and Agie. She was being punished for some past crime. That confirmed it.

She couldn't take it...she was going to lose it...Agie was her own personal demon and the blasted thing was doing its job well.

Lyra's eyes looked up to meet Kayla's and rolled as tears rolled down her cheeks. "Sentimentally challenged," she spoke with a slight attitude as NO ONE made fun of her. "Touching, Kayla. Really touching." She sighed as everyone was making fun of the sappy moment she just had.

"Hey! The NUT here would like to ask the ones making a joke, have you looked in the mirror? Have you seen your hopes and dreams of your past?" That's what they were, at least not at first as she thought it was real. "And don't tell me that no one has read Hogwarts, A History?" Her eyes glanced back to Ann for a moment. "Hermione? Any thoughts?"

Barry saw Livvy enter "Hey, its the uh mirror of Erised" he said giving her a quick smile. He then looked back to the group. drama and people had moved his sheet! Darn well he wasn`t going to admit it was his. "I`ve read it" he said when asked abut hogwarts: a history. "This is its hiding place, it was hidden in various parts of the school and we havn`t discovered all the places. I wonder if we just have to find the right person to look into the mirror? Some one whos ultimate desire is to find out why the ghosts and the rest of it returned?"

Varius had to have a small chuckle to himself for a moment. Was a girl asking HIM for hair tips? That was just rich comedy right there! "Well, Miss Kayla, it's a mixture of the schools provided shampoo, some special conditioner my Gran makes up for me.... OH! and a bit of lemon juice for the shine," move over Nicky Clarke!

However, their conversation had been intercepted by none other than ExpelledGirl! "Oh heyyyy... ExpelledGirl," he really had forgotten her real name, or had he already fallen asleep in the Leaky Cauldron by the time we got round to discovering that? "I read in a magazine, goat's shampoo thickens your hair drastically... wouldn't want to look like a yeti!!!" granted it was probably one of his comics from when he was younger, but ExpelledGirl seemed very focused on her appearance... what was a little scare?

Drama ensued though between ExpelledGirl and her friend with whom she arrived. They were looking into the mirror and sobbing and being all emotional just like the others who stared at their greatest desire. Varius crossed his arms, still in belief that the thing was completely cheating self-discovery.

Varius turned to the Ravenclaw, "I think all of us have much more bigger desires than to find that out that i'm afraid. But it was a nice thought... you'd really need to find someone less self centered I would think," he laughed shortly before composing himself into seriousness once more.

Hugo frowned grumpily as Evolette denied his 'vision' and cast it off as a simple reflection. He tried desperately to wriggle out of her iron grip, but that girl was strong! Mirror of Erised...Mirror of Erised...why didn't it ring any bells? It was only when Anna mentioned 'wasting away' that it clicked. MIRROR OF ERISED. Why on earth hadn't he remembered it before? His gaze drifted back to the mirror, and sure enough, there was the infamous words inscripted backwards into the the gilt frame. I show not your face but your hearts desire. Now it alllll made sense. Wow.

"Mirror of Erised..." Hugo repeated, stepping closer to Evee. "How is that possible? I thought it was supposed to have disappeared. Been hidden. It hasn't been seen since..." He racked his brains, desperately wishing he'd paid more attention in History of Magic. "Harry Potter. Hey guys! Wasn't this mirror last around when Harry Potter faced He Who Must Not Be Named?" He asked, eyes widening in fright. Woah. That story was legend.

Kayla gave Paris, a small bow and giggled. "Why thank you sweetie, you and I are just two of a kind." She didn't miss the way Paris, looked at Dominic and she chuckled softly, obviously not much love there. Kayla must remember to ask the girl what had happened between the two and...oh she was asking about the party.

"Well actually it wasn't really that much of a party, I think it was more of an excuse for Myrtle, to be the centre of attention for once and to spill her little secret" she spread her hands wide gesturing to the room. "And here we are."

Oopsie...she had upset Lyra and oooh didn't she have a temper on her. Kayla thought she was one to reckoned with but me oh my, Lyra was looking rather scary. Kayla opened her mouth to say something but then thought better of it, she was likely to put her foot into it again. Oh but now she wanted to know about what people saw in the mirror.

"Well if you must know Lyra, I don't need to look into the mirror because I know exactly what I'll see when I do" she snapped. "It'll be me and my parents standing there because it's my heart's desire to have my parents back home with me instead of being in hiding because they have a contract out on their lives." CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! Kayla turned away from the older girl and mentally kicked herself for sharing that moment with everyone. A secret that no-one else knew about...until now.

Kayla gave a little giggle at Varius' answer. "Well it's nice to know a boy knows how to look after his hair" she gave him a wink. "Just don't come to obsessed with it, like some of the other pretty boys around here. Guys should never take longer on their hair then girls." But then she really wasn't giving the guys any hope there considering it took her all of two minutes to do hair, it's not hard to tie it into a ponytail all the time.

"That would be hard, impossible, wait do the ghosts see their desire in the mirror?" he asked

"It was last seen in Harry Potters time. It was moved to a new hiding place, which we have just discovered. This is huge. Do you guys know what possablilites this mirror has?" Barry asked. "No, no not yet. But what should we do with the mirror?"

John walked into the room and smiled. He looked around the room and saw something that he had heard in a storying but he thought it was fake, well it seemed like the legion was true, he smiled as he saw some people already in the room. John decided to wait and see what was going to happen and decides to wait for someone to speak to you.

"Paris," Jake grinned. Finally, someone else decidedly talking to him. She pulled him into a hug again (Paris seemed to do that alot) and squeeeeeeeezed. "I was just..." trying to get away from Jack "... ya know, going down each corridor, and I saw the portrait, and the handle. And darn it, I'm a curious kid," Jake smiled.

From what Jake could gather, this mirror showed one what they truly wanted, or desired. Jake knew one of his desires; not to get in front of that mirror (though it would show a paradox if he saw that). Jake had a horrible feeling he knew what he would see, and he didn't want to look.

Freya was walking along the corridor, but started hearing...voices? 'Huh?' She thought to herself and looked up at a painting. 'This place is even more haunted than I first thought...' Her pale eyes scanned the picture for a moment, before finding something of interest, her hands immediately seized the 'handle' and turned it. The portrait swung open and a room was revealed.
'Oh wonderful...now I HAVE to go inside.' Curiousity was such a pain sometimes. Freya stepped into the room and the voices became louder. After walking a little bit she came across a few other students, but another object caught her eye. It was an enormous mirror. 'What's so special about that?' Freya wondered as she came a bit closer, asking herself why a few individuals in particular seemed to be enjoying their time in front of the mirror. "What's up with that?" She wondered quietly, surely it was just a piece of glass...

"Don`t look into it" Barry advised as another girl approached " It could hypmitise you " he said to her. It was true and he wasn`t going to explain it all to her again.

"Hypnotized?" Freya repeated, slightly intrigued. 'No. Surely not....Wonder how it works...the others don't look that crazed, or lifeless...' Perhaps she would eavesdrop for a while to see what the story was behind this thing. Or better yet, find a book on it.

"It depends, what is your greatest desire?" asked Barry not wanting to give it all away at once, and really the more people who knew, the more likely the mirror would be moved again.

Freya's head tilted a little bit, 'Greatest desire?' She looked to the mirror. "I don't know." 'Do I even have one? Sure, everyone does...don't they?'

Barry listned to the girl "Well then stay away from the mirror, I`ll tell you what it is if you do" said Barry
