Barry just gave Kayla a nod before he crept over to Cela, he said in a low voice "Cela do you have your thing from the room?" and he waited unsure of if he should have mensioned it in frount of everyone, but he shook it off and waited.

Anna playfull rolled her eyes and then raised an eyebrow at Paris. "What's the matter, Paris? Not good enough yet to beat even those with a head start?" she teased. "I would have thought you to be the one that could. Pity." Anna smiled and then turned in the opposite directions. Things...interesting, unusual, and important things were starting to happen. Anna glanced down at Cela's small mountain of candy, wondering if she should assist Cela in duplicating it to make it worthy of being called 'a treasure.' She figured she better leave the wandwork up to the adults right now, though.

Anna's eyes traveled to the Grey Lady as she began to explain what had happened on that fateful night---the night that had transformed the professors into nothing more than eleven-year-olds. Anna was aware that she was holding her breath as the ghost spoke, but she was too lost in thought to let it out and resume normal breathing right now. So the ghosts...specifically the Grey Lady...had done this? It appeared there was a remedy, though, and that thought alone caused Anna to finally release the breath she'd been holding in. Mysteries, and lots of them, at that, were starting to unfold! Anna turned to the Grey Lady and said, "We suspect the professors might be along soon. As Cela explained, we convinced them that there was a candy treasure here, and that they needed to come quickly if they wanted any of it." Anna glanced down at the small mountain of candy once again. "This is all we've managed to gather, though."

Via stood there, perplexed as the Grey Lady told them the story. The mirror of Erised was hidden for years... and then it appears and those things happened. She watched the Grey Lady as a glowing light appeared before the mirror.

Its the remedy... The inflicted should touch it and they'll be alright again. She wondered if what was better. Via wans't mean but she loved the teachers acting like.... kids?... although she knew that was wrong and they have to be returned back to their normal self.

Anna spoke up about the pile of candy that Celandine had brought. "Hmmm... Anna, Do you still need some sweets?" Via bravely asked the Prefect.

OK! There was a party and Lyra was inviting herself to this one. The end of term brought too much homework on her and she had not been interactive with hardly anyone lately, unless you count the tree falling Mr. Groundskeeper man and the fun with the ice in the hallways. She walked into the room, slightly taller than her normal state as she was still wearing the PINK shoes of Bunbuns. Eventually she would have to give them back but she was going to make the most of playing adult in these suckers.

She click-clacked her way across the stone floor and noticed chaos. OH how she knew that meant...FUN! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee! She clacked her way over to Banana with her hands on her hips.

"Do tell what's going on," she asked no one in particular as she began twirling a piece of hair around her fingers. It was the end of another school year and she was looking forward to the summertime.

Paris saw the look on Anna's face. "Well if a race is what you want. Name the time and place, and I will beat you." she pointed out to her with a wink as she tossed a chocolate frog at her. She saw Cela digging into the mountain of candy. That girl was going to make herself sick if she didn't stop.

She grew quiet as the Grey Lady recounted her tale. Her eyes growing wider and wider by the second as the ghost spoke. So the professors really were affected by some spell. Well at least it was reversible and nothing permanent or dangerous. Her head we reeling as she watched the Grey Lady preform the counter spell, her eyes danced as she saw the pale glow. Paris looked at the Grey Lady. "Even though things didn't turn out as you had hoped. Thank you for trying to protect us and the treasures and secrets of Hogwarts."She told her softly with a respectful bow of her head. At least her intentions were good. Paris didn't know ghosts could still work magic. That was news to her and a good bit of news to know if nothing else.

He saw the wheels turning in Jake's head and said, "Professor Lainey was the History of Magic teacher here for a number of years. She was actually one of my professors when I was a student."

When they reached the sixth floor he was going to ask where this portrait was, but there really was no need. It was quite obvious by the group already gather. "Well, I suppose we're finally here," he said and then addressed the group. "What's going on?"

"Oh, okay then..." Jake nodded at the explanation. Made sense that she was a teacher.

Looking up, Jake noticed the large crowd and frowned a little. Was he too late? Had someone else worked it out and he was just going to stand here in the background. Merrrrrrr. "Yeah... I suppose," Jake mumbled, standing still next to the headmaster and eyeing the group.

Blah.

She looked up when the Headmaster walked in. Honestly, how many more people could they fit in this room. All they needed was a house elf and a nun and they had the start of good joke. She might want to write this down. The thought made her giggle a little bit, but she cleared her throat. "Um Professor sir. The Grey Lady just explained what was going on with the professors and she is reversing it we just have to get them all up here to look into the mirror. It was a protection spell and it just went a bit haywire or something." She explained to him.

She eyed Jake not sure if she even wanted to speak to him. She was still upset with him and it was best if she just ignored him. She was still really hurt about his snub at Hogsmead, and it might get ugly is she opened her mouth.

Hearing Paris' words, Jake looked up at Professor Bontecou. "That's, like, what I said to you... right? But with the reason... my thoughts were just based on logic..."

His eyes lingering on Paris for just a moment, Jake looked away and harshly over at the wall. Really, this. was. ridiculous. And it started here... it would end here. Reaching up to his neck, Jake undid the chain that had been there since Paris put it on him, the one with the miniature key on it. Staring at it and feeling sorely tempted to throw it back, Jake dangled the chain from his fingers and held it out for the girl to take, saying nothing. As far as he could tell, Jake had done nothing wrong that day... and if Paris couldn't see that, then... so be it.

Lyra looked at Paris in surprise when she spoke of what happened with the professors. Of all things to do to protect a mirror, it was the Grey Lady who caused all the problems and issues going on around the school?

But now they were waiting on everyone to show up. Well, Merlin's left toe! That meant if Bunbunz showed up, she would have to give the shoes back...if it really worked that is. So that explained why not everyone who looked in the mirror was not affected, only the adults. "Are they on their way here now?"

It was like he ripped her heat out of her chest when she saw him take off the necklace she had give him when they first met. It was a tiny thing, just a chain with a key dangling from the end. It was a gift from her grandfather, meaning she was the key to his heart, and she had given it to Jake. he had truly captured her heart. She loved him like he was her little brother.

The tears rolled down her as she looked at the necklace dangling from his little hand. She shook her head. She wasn't going to take it back from him. "I told you that you were the key to my heart. And I meant it." She told him as she wiped at her face.

His hand faltering a bit, Jake stared at it. Why couldn't people just think and act the same way? All straight forward, like. He blinked his eyes shut and twitched a few times in an apparently returning tic, and thought furiously. "You were acting like I wasn't," was all he managed to say, his brain working furiously to make sense of it all. Truth be told, after that breakdown he still wasn't totally back to normal.

But he didn't matter then... right now it was getting the teachers back to normal. "You guys know who the professors are though, right?" he asked the group at large. "I mean... we can all agree who needs to go back to the mirror because they... regressed?" Was that the word? Meh. "I counted 7..." he trailed off, wandering who would listen.

She aw him twitching and she wanted to hug him, but she didn't. It still hurt her feelings that he brushed her off like she wasn't there, but she wasn't ready to just cut him out of her life. She did love him, not the love that would turn into anything romantic. But she loved him like he was family to her. She didn't want to say anything to him that would turn into a fight or them arguing. She just shook her head and wiped her face with her robes. She hated crying in public.

Alessia stumbled into the room. "Ok... so where's the candy treasure mountain!" She asked as she arrived. "Let the sugar frenzy begin!"

Cela pointed at the ever dwindling pile right in front of the mirror, her mouth full. "You weren't first. But there is still some left and I don't mind sharing."

Kayla looked at Professor Lupa as she entered the room and an idea hit her as she remembered what the Grey Lady had said. "Oh just through there Professor, see it glowing? It's very special candy, it's going to make you feel all..."she trailed off for a moment she was about to say normal but she didn't want to scare her off..."warm and fuzzy" she finished off.

The only reason Less had beaten him here was because he was a gentleman. Yep. That's all. The only reason. Of course...he had slid down the banister to the 5th floor and had to run back up, but that was okay. Yup. Part of him letting her win. Totally.

He skidded to a stop, nearly knocking the woman over. His eyes darted about the room feverishly, looking for the mounds of candy and chocolate they had been promised.

Krissy had gotten off on the wrong staircase again. You'd think after all the years she'd spent at Hogwarts she would learn to mind the staircases. She walked down the corridor and saw a group of students near the portrait of the sleeping dragon. Slowing she smiled and said a polite "hello" to all the students she passed. Noticing Helios she smiled shyly and began walking away.

She pointed at the mountain of candy that Cela was slowing working on. "Yeah look into the mirror first and then you can have all the candy you want." She smiled at all of them. "Go on Professor Lupa." She prodded .

"I don't think you'll want to miss this." Pushing off from the wall, Helios got in Krissys' way, gently placing his hand on her arm. "This mirror has been giving everyone a lot of trouble, about time things got set right." He wasn't just talking about the professors. His own gaze into the mirror had a less obvious, but just as severe effect to which there was no cure.

Learning your hearts desire could cause a boy to push himself to become a man.

Professor Kazimeriz stepped in. "Headmaster Bontecou; I am glad to see you here. It seems that the Hogwarts ghosts have had some security concerns regarding a-- an item of some value to the history of the castle. They constructed a means of magical protection, utilizing an age line and the Mirror of Erised among their tools. Quite ingenious, really." He tipped the slightest nod to Lady Helena. "It seems that this magic is what has been causing some... irregularities... in the behavior of some professors. However, they have a solution if we can just get all the professors who are afflicted to return to this location. We of course defer to your leadership in this matter."

Krissy looked at Helios and sighed. He always did know when things were about to get interesting. "Oh aye? is this going to make things more normal with the professors then?" She was very confused, but interested.

Look in the mirror? That made no sense! Candy couldn't be in a mirror, could it? This was a school for MAGIC, after all.

He took a chance on it. "CANDY!" He screamed as he looked in the mirror. Not wanting anyone else to get more than him, he ran full-speed at the mound of candy inside the FAKE mirror. Of course it was fake! They had removed the real mirror in order to trick them, but he was too smart for that, yessir! He ran, and jumped.....

and smacked his head against the top of the mirror. He fell back onto the floor, a little dazed, and more than a little surprised that he had not broken the mirror when he felt a tickle....it began in his feet and went all the way up his body until he was squirming around on the floor.

Suddenly his eyes opened. Why was he.....and why did.....he looked around and stood up quickly, causing him to grow dizzy. He stumbled and fell back against the wall, holding his head, already forming a LOVELY goose-egg when his eyes caught sight of Less....and he blushed. Had he? Oh dear. Dear dear dear Merlin, tell him that was a dream! Surely they had not kissed! He quickly lost eye contact with her and found a seat on the floor.

"Hey! Watch it Eddie! I almost fell into the mirror!" She said smacking his shoulder.

"MY CANDY!!!" She screamed as she ran after the mountain, and laughing after seeing Eddie hit his head... She giggled at the tickling feeling she felt and then... her eyes widened. HOLY MOTHER OF MERLIN!!! What was going on!

"Professor Forrester!" she cried when he hit his head. She moved quickly to his side. "Sir are you alright," She looked at the bite mark on his arm, it wasn't bleeding anymore but he had a nice lump growing on his head. "Do you need me to get you anything?" She asked him with concern in her voice. She didn't like seeing him hurt. He was her head of house after all.
