No no, Anastasia had made her little mind up. "They hhurt my ttoes," she muttered to herself, paying not attention to the children around as she unbuckled her heels.

"We could trade?" Bunbury looked up at the Hufflepuff girl. Oh good, they were housemates at least.

She heard a Slytherin calling out to her and looked over at the girl absentmindedly. Ooh, she was pretty, but not as pretty at the Hufflepuff. And besides, it wasn't that far to the Huffie common room. Who cared about a little dirt? And why did they keep calling her Professor?

"Um, I'm going to go get some candy now," Anastasia announced to the room at large as she pulled herself up off the floor. She scratched her head which was really starting to hurt now - probably from a lack of sugar. Dur.

Bunbury started to edge out of the room, not liking the fact that people were looking at her. What, couldn't a girl NOT wear shoes in the castle? Was that so illegal? She needed to find some candy and find it fast. That mirror thing was disturbing - she kept seeing an old lady in it. Shudder.

She raised an eyebrow when Professor Bunbury started talking about candy like she was 10 years old or something. "Yes I think candy would help you with your shoe problem ma'am," She said with a wicked smile on her face. "I know sometimes older woman have trouble with the heels after a few years." She simpered sweetly.

Jake had to try not to snort at Professor BunBuns as she started acting all weird, like. It was quite unnerving, but still a tad hilarious. He watched her as she anounced the candy thing. Another sugar fiend.

"Professor?" he spoke, pulling a muggle lolly from his pocket and resist the urge to munch it down now. "Ya want one o' these?"

Jake had plenty, he often carried a spare few in case of an emergency... like slowing down or something.

To Ludo's surprise and relief, Professor Pierce was smiling. Automatic indicator that he wasn't digging his educational grave yet.
He smiled back as she reassured him that. "Thank you Professor." he said, shyly.

Ludo then noticed several other students standing about the room. The mirror had really drawn his attention away from everything else.
Other Professors from around the castle were entering as well. And each one went directly to the mirror and stared into the glass.

He turned back to Professor Pierce and stood next to her chair. He couldn't help but notice the Transfiguration Professor was drawing... "Professor? What?...What is this mirror exactly? Why does it draw so much attention to itself compared to any other mirror?"
Ludo had the sudden urge to do as the other witches and wizards were doing, and look into the mirror...but he needed to grasp the knowledge before the practical part came into play.

Alex dropped her parchment and pencil on the floor and flung her legs over one arm of her chair, sitting in it sideways, "Well ya see, when you look into the mirror, you see what makes you truely happy! And who wouldnt want to see themselves doing or having exactly what they want?" She blinked for a moment and took her legs off the arm of the chair, sitting properly once again, "If you have any more questions dear, please come to my office and ask."

Stretching her arms above her head, Alex thought about how nice and warm her office must be. Fireplace roaring, maybe she could get a house elf to bring her hot chocolate... Suddenly, she got to her feet, "Oh no, I have homework to grade." she said looking upset, "I just want to relax, stupid homework." she muttered to herself as she grabbed her drawing materials and headed out of the secret room and down the hall to her office.

Lyra watched as Professor Bunbury took off her shoes. SHE TOOK OFF HER SHOES? Her brows wrinkled together as she watched her lay her shoes to the side but she wanted to trade. She looked down to the flat shoes that she wore versus the nice beautiful PINK shoes. This was quite interesting but she was NOT about to wear heels around the castle and she didn't know how the professor could do so as well.

But then just as soon as the professor's shoes were off, she was heading out the door wanting...candy? She had candy up in her room but not with her. She shrugged her shoulders together as things were not making sense. The worst part about it, was that Bunbuns left her shoes and was now going to roam the hallways barefoot.

Her eyes shifted around the room. Back and forth. Back and forth. Then she reached down to pick up the beautiful heeled shoes. She was NOT about to leave those behind but maybe she could follow the professor and just leave them in her office.

"Agie, Anna, come," she whispered as she looked back to them. "Let's follow the professor and see what happens. Something is not right and...well, we are now on the quill staff so it would make for an interesting story."

Anna watched as her Herbology professor unbuckled her shoes and took them off. Well, that was an unusual site to see, if Anna did say so herself. No, no...not someone going around barefoot. That was actually quite common. Well, among the students at least. Did the professors ever wander the castle barefooted? Anna supposed they did. I mean, no one slept in shoes, right? The unusual site was specifically the Herbology professor being seen without her trademark heels. Anna had gotten used to the sound they made as they click-clacked throughout the castle. Once, when Anna had been out doing her prefect duties, she'd heard the professor approaching from an entire corridor away! Those heels and that woman pretty much went hand in hand---and now, she was taking them off? ...and giving them to Lyra Noir?!? Wait...Anna wanted those heels! She thought maybe they would help make her appear older and wiser beyond her years.

Candy? The professor was taking off her shoes to go and get candy? "Candy?" Anna repeated, not sure what was so important about candy right now. She shrugged, figuring that maybe professors got an urge for a nice chocolate frog every now and then, too. She really, really wanted a piece of that candy the professor was going to retrieve, though. Maybe if she stuck around a bit longer, Professor Bunbury would return with candy in hand! Anna watched the professor as she started to edge out of the room, turning her head only when she realized that the professor may not like students staring at her.

In an attempt to divert herself from her barefooted, candy-eating Herbology professor, Anna headed across the room to Professor Pierce. Anna blinked when she noticed the way her professor was seated. It wasn't unusual, of course. Anna had just never seen the professors do things like walk around barefooted and sit sideways in chairs. They were usually always so proper. Anna nodded at the professor's comment about wanting to see herself doing or having exactly what she'd always wanted. It was true. Anna did want a future with Cale and those babies.

Anna jumped back a bit as her professor bounced to her feet, declaring that she had homework to grade. Stupid homework, to be exact. Ewww. Homework. Anna wanted to speak up and say that she agreed, and that all homework assignments were stupid and evil. She didn't, though. Number one, that just wasn't the sort of thing you say to your professor. Number two, the professor was headed out the doorway and off to Merlin knew where.

Alessia was going to see professor Pierce about her Gryffindors, when her eyes caught a room she didn't remember... She walked in and looked in. "Ahhh Prefect Greingoth... what is this room?" She asked, curiously.

Theo was confused now. He was only little and was probably going to get trampled on now that all the professor's decided to join them. He quickly pressed himself against the wall. They couldn't hurt him there. He sighed. He was never going to be noticed at this size. Maybe the mirror was right and he did want to be bigger.

He frowned, confused when Bunbury wanted candy. She was a teacher. Teachers weren't allowed sweets. And had no shoes on. Something was wrong with her. But Theo was too small to follow, he would get squished trying to fight his way out.

Anna took a deep breath and stared around the room, wondering what she should do next. Students and professors were traveling in and out of the room, so Anna felt like she should stay put just in case something else happened. She didn't quite know what else could possibly happen, but if this many people were in and out, it had to mean something...right? Anna glanced at the mirror out of the corner of her eye, contemplating going over to it and sneaking a glance or two while not too many people were around. Just as she stepped forward and made way to the mirror, she heard her name being called. She turned around to see none other than Professor Lupa, her new Ancient Runes professor.

"Oh, hello, Professor Lupa," she greeted, stepping away from the mirror and approaching the professor. "I'm actually not too sure what this room is, but...well, have you heard of the Mirror of Erised? When this room was discovered not too long ago, the mirror was found inside. It's just over there." Anna raised her hand and pointed in the direction of the mirror. "No one seems to know how it got in here, though..."

"Oh... The Mirror! I heard the runes on it's frame are quite exquisite..." She made her way towards the mirror and as soon as she was before it she looked at the runes... but something was deterring her eye... if was her reflection in the mirror. You'd think a werewolf's greatest wish was being out in the garden with the full moon out... basically not being a werewolf anymore... but that's not what she was seeing at all... It was her, holding a child... a beautiful dark haired child, with brown eyes and the most precious little pair of glasses... she blushed and pulled away from the mirror.

"Thank you Anna," she said to the prefect. "That was... fun."

Anna smiled and nodded at the professor. "Yes, the mirror. It's quite interesting to look into, you see. At first, I wasn't aware that it was illusion, and..." Anna's voice trailed off. The professor had already approached the mirror and begun to see its magic all for herself. Anna stood by and watched, knowing the professor was seeing something she would truly love to see---whatever it is that may be. She didn't know the professor all that well to make any sort of guess. Anna smiled when she saw her professor's blush. She imagined the professor to be feeling quite similar to how she felt when she first looked into the mirror.

"You're welcome. It's amazing, isn't it? We've been warned not to appraoch the mirror too many times, though," she said. "I've been told that it's all too easy to lose touch with reality and waste away in front of this very mirror. I've tried not to look into it too much."

"What did you see?" The professor asked and smiled.

Anna blushed and then looked down to her feet. It had been tough telling Cale what she'd seen. It would probably be even tougher to tell someone else...a professor at that. Anna took a deep breath and then looked back up at Professor Lupa, staring into her eyes for a few moments before finally speaking up. "I saw my boyfriend carrying two babies," she said. The words had come out her mouth easier than she thought they would. It wasn't so scary talking to a professor about your boyfriend and future children after all. "At first, I thought Cale was standing in the room with me. As I looked into the mirror, I spoke to him, asking him whose children he was holding. Then, when I finally learned the story behind the mirror I was looking into, I knew that the babies were...were...mine...and his." Blushing once again, Anna softly laughed and then looked away. "What about you? What did you see?"

Ludo listened to Professor Pierce's explination of the Mirror. As he did he was only slightly surprised to see her so relaxed in the chair. She stopped talking and he contemplated over her words. He was still a bit confused.

So as the Transfiguration Professor stood up and left, Ludo thought. "Thank you Professor...see ya." he said a bit awkwardly.
"If all the Professors are looking into it, surely it can't be bad."
The only way he'd learn the mirror's secrets seemed to be to look into it.

Timidly, Ludo stepped up to the mirror. As he got closer...his relfection came into view. Ludo noticed that it was still the same, but suddenly..it changed. His eyes widened as he gazed at himself...
He was much older and wearing a coat worn by the Healers of St. Mungo's. The older Ludo sat at a desk, talking to a person out of the mirror's focus, in a sort of office. Books lined the walls and Ludo looked...truely happy.

"Woah..." he whispered. This was truely, incredibly, insanely, wonderful.

Elizabeth had been heading up to the common room, but had gotten sidetracked by the several professors and students coming out from behind a painting of a sleeping dragon. And, remembering when she had been able to access the prefect's lounge last term, which had been behind a painting, her curiosity had gotten piqued.

Catching the strange handle on the side of the frame, she slipped inside before it could swing shut behind Professors Pierce and Bunbury, along with Lyra, and the other students trailing them. Once inside, she saw Anna talking to the Runes professor, along with a small Slytherin boy. And Ludo staring into a mirror. Grinning, she crept over to him, wondering if she'd be able to sneak up to him again, what with the mirror and all. But as she got closer, she heard his whisper and realized he was mesmerized by whatever he was looking at, so she kept moving. Not really paying attention to the mirror at all.

Leaning around him, she looked up at him with another grin, poking him in the side. "What's so interesting?," she then asked him.

Constantine felt himself carefully watching the adults in the room; he didn't know why, but every time he noticed they'd come close, he'd hope they wouldn't pay attention to him...that they would just keep on going.

The pounding in his head wasn't helping him much, he was losing focus on what his mind wanted him to do. He wanted to get out of this room...he wanted to hide! He had NO clue why, just that he absolutely needed to hide.

Slowly, he slinked his way over to the door and then barreled out of it as fast as he could. He needed a place to hide...somewhere...actually, a place to lay down and rest his head would be nice too...

"Oh, WOW!" Vindictus exclaimed loudly as he entered the room. "Nooo . . . it can't be." He walked closer but there were too many students in the room and his progress was stopped after only taking three steps. "Back away from the mirror and let us adults examine the artifact," he said with an air of authority.

At the sound of a rather loud exclamation coming from over by the doorway, Anna jumped, startled at the sudden outburst. She turned from Professor Lupa to see Professor Vindictus, obviously quite excited to set his eyes upon the Mirror of Erised. Anna watched as her Flying instructor stepped closer and closer to the mirror, all the while battling a room full of students and professors alike. "Oh, excuse me, sir," Anna said, immediately stepping away from the mirror and giving him room to examine the mirror.

"Thank you, Anna," Vindictus said and noticed that the hot (but odd) Runes witch was in the room too. Hmm, Bunbury is definitely onto something but I really should check this out to make sure its safe. He confidently strode forward and approached the Mirror from the side. "It doesn't look like a prank so far . . . looks old, too." He got closer and touched the side of the Mirror's frame as he peered behind it. "Held up by magic, of course. I always read that Dumbledore was absolutely brilliant," he said in awe. Then he saw his reflection in the mirror and gasped.

She was still holding on to Jake when the flying playboy walked into the room. Why was he so pushy! She couldn't stop herself from growling at him. What right did he have to push people. He was there for the same reason as they were. He just wanted to look into the mirror. "You catch more flies with honey Professor," She said to him. This was the second time he pushed her around. She didn't care who he was. There wasn't going to be a third. She moved out of his way just in case he wanted to get crazy and try to push her like Professor Neo did Professor Pepto.

"You're welcome, sir," Anna remarked, biting her bottom lip to keep from giggling at the way Professor Vindictus seemed to notice Professor Lupa. She watched as he examined the mirror, obviously trying to figure out the mysteries it held deep down inside. If he could figure it, though, he'd be the first, as no one else seemed to know much about it, including how it got into this very room. Anna held her breath as her professor glanced into the mirror. It was always interesting to see the reactions of those looking into it for the very first time. "Professor?!?" Anna asked, stepping forward upon hearing his gasp. "Are you alright, sir?"

He ran his hand through his hair. "Yeah. It's time for a trim," Vindictus said as he glanced over at Anna. "It always looks better short. Kept it long when I started playing." His thoughts were interrupted by a Slytherin girl in the room. "Smart remarks like that is what makes House Points fall, young lady. Besides, this mirror is an historical relic and here all of you are simply drooling over it. Don't any of you know how to read these days?" His eyes were back on the mirror and his reflection. Something wasn't right about it.

She smiled at him as he tried to push her buttons. If he weren't the size of a tree trunk and his hair so full of hair gel it had the shape of a hard helmet she would take her wand and whack him on the head. Just wait till she was all grown up. She didn't trust herself not to say anything else smart and if she wasn't a top earner to would say screw the house points and say what she really wanted to say. But she wasn't giving up her spot on the top for nothing. Maybe she could give him some new hair shampoo with a few modifications added to it. That would serve him right.

"Erm, wha---oh, your hair, sir?" Anna asked, glancing over at the mirror and then back to the professor. She studied his hair for a moment---the same head of hair he'd just claimed needed a good trimming. "But sir, your hair is short. It doesn't look too long to me at all." Anna turned away from the professor when he started addressing Paris Greenwood, who'd apparently offended him with her prior comment about honey. Anna stepped a little closer to the mirror, wondering briefly if Professor Vindictus had seen a normal reflection of himself or an altered, magical reflection. Anna kept her eyes on the floor until she'd reached the front of the mirror. She then glanced up and stared into the mirror, watching Cale and those babies appear once again. She turned back to Professor Vindictus with a confused look on her face. "I wonder why it's here now...why it suddenly appeared from nowhere," she mumbled, addressing no one in particular.
