Copernicus Kettleburn took a seat in the middle of the room and quietly unpacked his bag. "Good day to you, Professor. I hope you're well."

"What's UP, Headman?!" Plymouth Morgan entered the classroom - and went to go hover around the front desk instead of taking a seat. "It's been a while, man."

"I am very well, thank you," the headmaster replied with his head almost literally IN his desk. It probably would have made more sense to summon his papers, but now that he was already doing things the hard way he might as well persevere. His hand wrapped around said elusive bit of parchment at the precise moment the next student came in and planted himself in front of the desk. "Ah... Mr. Morgan. How's the ear hair?"

"Shh..." the Grey Lady shushed Plymouth with a ghostly finger at her lips. She had appeared out of nowhere and was now hovering by his desk. "This is a place of learning."

Reese entered the potions classroom and smiled.She missed Potions.It was always a fun class to do. "Hello Professor Bontecou,"she said.She walked over to an empty table and sat all her stuff down. "How has your day been?" She looked back at the Professor and smiled.

"What ear hair are you talking about?" Plymouth grinned and leaned on the desk to show the Professor his very clear ears. "Clear as a bell. A CellBell." Plymouth 'hehe'd" and might have started (he did) sort of poking at the papers on the desk. "You need a hand? I happen to have two right here."


"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Plymouth screamed when the ghost said his name CREEEEEPERRRSS!!! "AHhhhhhhhh!"


He went straight to his seat and sat down after that. Clearly, he did what the not-so-dead told him. "Merlin's foot fungus... Ghosts, man.. Perni. You see that? GHOST."

As per her usual, Juniper paid no attention to her surroundings as she trod her way into the potions classroom. What was unusual, however, was the humming that came from the girl's mouth as she examined the white paper flower in her hand. She continued humming tunelessly as she took a seat, front and center, and continued staring at the paper flower, trying to decide what kind of flower it most closely resembled. The fourth year was so engrossed in her examination of the folded paper that she noticed neither the other people nor the ghost in the room.

Potions. Definitely not one of Willow's strongest subjects, but at least she was not completely dreadful at it. Unlike Herbology. . .

She shuddered at the thought of that subject.

"Hello, Professor," greeted the girl with a polite nodo f her head, as she claimed a seat around the middle of the classroom.

Professor Bontecou laughed openly at Mr. Morgan's antics and stood when the Grey Lady appeared, laughing again as Mr. Morgan ran off like a little girl. He bowed. "Grey Lady, to what do we owe this honor?"

The Grey Lady floated up to the professor's desk. "Headmaster Bontecou. I'm quite ashamed that I've not attended one of your illustrious lessons. Tell me, is it normal for children to scream whenever they see a ghost?" she asked politely.

"No, not usually, but I think that one might be... special..." he kindly replied. "We're going to be brewing the confounding concoction today if you'd like to stay and observe."

"Perhaps I'll return and watch the pupils test their potions," Helena politely replied. "But you may want to avoid having Mr. Morgan sample the potion since the poor lad is already confused."

He chuckled. "Certainly, Lady," he grinned and then glanced at the door. Hmm... where were all his students?

Dominic made his way down for the second potions lesson. This was a class that he actually didn't really mind so much, which was mostly due to the fact that Bontecou always seemed fair and everything. Never one to pick on a student and whatnot. Taking a seat near the front, the fifth year pulled out his parchment and quill, waiting for the lesson to begin. "Hello Headmaster," Dom uttered, as he waited. The class seemed sort of small today... odd.

Right, right there. At the front. Because she was having a bit of trouble with her hearing, and Kaika liked Potions, so...better to be near.

She smiled at Professor Bontecou and took her seat. Confounding concoction? Good. That was good. And they also had the visit of Ravenclaw ghost. She wondered where the Huffie one was, considering she hadn't seen it since the welcoming feast.

Plymouth sunk down in his desk. Not only was the Ghost scaring the shrieks out of him, but she was also insulting him. What did she KNOW? She didn't even have - tangibility!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH.


"You're confused," Plymouth murmured under his breath.

Oh good lord she was late, she just knew it. Kayla sprinted into the potions classroom and her feet skidded on the floor as she entered and there was that tiny moment of suspended animation as her arms flailed trying to keep herself upright but unfortunately gravity prevailed. She fell to the floor straight onto her behind and she looked up the Headmaster and gave him a sheepish look. "Not too late am I?"

"Naw, we haven't started yet," Copernicus glanced up at Kayla with a shy smile. "Have a seat."

Kayla struggled back to her feet and picked up her bag, trying to hide the redness of her face. She gave Cope a smile back and took a seat beside him, "Stupid watch, it stopped working" she slipped the watch off her wrist and threw it into her bag.

Emily hastily made her way into the potions classroom clutching her text book to her chest. She nodded at a couple of familiar faces, Willow... and that yellow Kayla girl... as she made her way to the back of the classroom.

She sat down, crossing one leg over the other and retrieved her muggle notebook and pen from her bag. She sat forward, her chin resting on her hand as a bored expression crept up her pale face while they waited for the class to begin.

Abby hurries into the class room and almost walks through the Grey Lady again. Excuse me Lady Ravenclaw, I'm surprised to see you here." Abby is happy Ray has the stone. It's in a safe place.

Ray hurried inside the classroom and walked directly towards Abby after she had passed by the Grey Lady. "Hello!" Ray greeted the ghost before sitting a bit further away from Abby, better not see us together! He said to himself but managed to get a look at Abby.

Rachel hurried in, panting heavily and looking like a complete mess. Her arms were full of books and her bag hung limply on her back, empty and completely torn. Making for the nearest seat she could fine, she dumped her books on the wooden table noisily. Wincing as she felt the sound vibrate through the room, she turned her eyes to the Headmaster and mumbled an apology and a greeting before sitting down. Tying her hair up in a ponytail, she grabbed her wand and repaired her bag, happy that she finally had the time to do it.
Looking up, her smile waned as she saw her house ghost hovering next to the professor. In her hurry, she hadn't noticed the pale serene figure. Great, how embarrassing...she thought, going a little red. "Hello, Miss," she said with an awkward, polite smile. She always felt weird when greeting the ghost, since she never knew how to properly call her. Do I say Grey Lady? Or just Lady? Or maybe I should call her by her real last name?

"Good afternoon," he greeted the wayward students as they finally started filing in... late. Well, he supposed he couldn't really blame them for being 5 minutes late when he'd set the example for them of being ten or fifteen minutes late. Why bother showing up on time for class if you knew the professor wouldn't be there on time?

"Alright class, as I've told the Grey Lady we'll be brewing the confounding concoction today. Can anyone explain the effects of this potion for the class?"
