After stirring for five minutes, Zeke moved on to the next step, adding the shrivelfig. And now... we wait. he thought to himself. Thirty minutes of... nothing. Waiting.
Hmm. Maybe he'd find someone to talk to or something.

Kayla got up from her chair and retrieved the required ingredients needed for the hair removal potion. She placed her cauldron into position and pointed her wand, "Incendio" she muttered. Now that there was a nice subtle flame under cauldron she turned to the ingredients. She quickly squeezed the flobberworms and found it somewhat satisfying and then she peeled and crushed the shrivelfig.

Placing the two tablespoons of beeswax into the cauldron, Kayla waited until it had completely melted before adding the flobberworm juice and then proceeded to stir for five minutes, alternating between clockwise and anti-clockwise every minute. She then added the shrivelfig and prodded the flame to reduce the heat. Now she had to wait for thirty minutes, perhaps she could use the time to find something that might make the potion smell nice.

Barry got out his wand to light the fire. "Incendio" he muttered and even though the couldrin was lit it also lit his robes. "Agumentti" he muttered and the robe went out. He then put the beewax in to melt, was it really from bees?

After a few minutes it had melted and he flobberworm juice in and he started stiring looking around to the others to see what they were doing.

Camira stirred her potion quickly counter-clockwise for the last time before quickly peeling her shrivelfig and crushing it with her pestle and mortar. She was so glad she’d thought to bring it to class today.

Beep. Beep. Beep. And the 5 minutes where up. She tossed in the shrivelfig and muttered a quick “mugioestus”, again placing her hand close to the flame to make sure it was going down. When she was satisfied the heat was low enough, she gave the potion a quick stir and set the timer for 30 minutes. She was done. Well, practically. But what did she do now? With a quick shrug, she got out her rare alchemy book she’d bought in Diagon Alley and started to read. Oh, how she really wanted to learn about alchemy.

She paused for a moment to stir her potion again and check to make sure she’d placed her lavender oil on the table. She had. And she had some calendula oil of course. As if she would get some for the class and not take some for herself. At any rate, she was definitely ready for when the time was up. Lovely. And only…26 and ½ minutes left. Goody.

Barry stired clockwise and anti-clockwise until the five minuites were up. He then added the shrivelfig and stew . He wasn`t quite sure what the shrivelfig was but it the only other ingreediant apart from the oil. He put it in and then adjusted the flame and waited , looking around and checking his potion every minuite or so.

Almost apprehensively, Terry swiped his required ingredients, immediately breaking for his desk and dropping the ingredients, flinging his arms into the air before glaring at the Flobberworms as though they had done him some personal injustice.

Pulling his wand out of his robes, he waved it efficiently at the cauldron, turning back to his ingredients once he could hear the soft crackling of a fire behind him. Eh, what were the instructions again?

Oh right. Spooning out the beeswax, he dolloped it into the cauldron, then paused. Stirring might help quicken the process? Stirring it around, he stood by idly, tapping one foot along the stoned floor as he waited.

In the mean while, he glanced about the room, taking in the other students. Eh, he recognised that curly-haired girl. Juni---perrr something? He certainly remembered her and Issy squishing the life out of each other on the train though. ...and Willow. How had he not noticed her entering? Catching sight of the Mr. My Hat Is Blatantly Cooler Than Yours sticking his face into his cauldron, Terry snorted. ...This was surely going to amusing. For him definitely.

A tiny crackle alerted him, and Terry hastily returned to his beeswax. EEEE. It was all melted already. Any longer, and all his caudron would be containing was a black, horrible congealed mess.

Lowering his flame for the meanwhile, he reluctantly turned to face his other ingredients. He swallowed at the sight of flobberworms, shuddering visibly as they stared up lifelessly at him. BLEURGH. OooOooh. He tried to sneak another glance around? Maybe someone had already juiced their flobberworms? Then he could just steal some of theirs without them seeing ask them all politely for some.

Copernicus peeled and crushed his shrivelfig between clockwise and counterclockwise stirring, and he was pleased with the consistency of the potion thus far. Sure, it smelled AWFUL, but that was pretty typical. Hopefully the calendula oil would help with the scent too.

Once the shrivelfig was tossed into the pot, he turned the heat down again to let the whole mess stew. Now he was free for 30 minutes to watch the flame and make sure Plymouth didn't kill anyone. He eyed a Slytherin girl a few tables away. Lavender? He had to ask. "Ahem. Miss? What do you intend the lavender oil to do?" Could it be a calming property?

Something that would be used as a vehicle and that would give a sweet odor and a calming effect to my little potion here? Ray asked himself as he searched in his book for any idea, before and from no where he remembered that peppermint oil or Lemon oil can do just that.
He stired his potion a bit noting that the potion was beginning to feel more pasty that aqueous as it was at first. He grabbed his bag and from it took out an old bottle on which a tag said:

Ray opened the bottle and smelled the amazing scent of peppermint that started to fill his lungs and slowly send a nerve impulse to his brain, leading to have a slight Euphoria. He closed the bottle and placed it just next to the calendula oil, he had brought earlier on. Now he needed to wait for the time to pass. 19 minutes and he would be over

Just because she was a Ravenclaw and supposedly intelligent and all; but then again it was him who had chosen to work with her, of which she agreed. So it was her fault then. Besides, didn't she just repeat what he had just said anyway? For someone with a cocky and know-it-all persona, she sure was foolish.

"Right. I said that," he murmured, reaching into his bag and pulling out gloves from his Magical Creatures class. If he was going to be squeezing flobberworms, then at least he'd keep his hands clean. Slipping a glove on, he winced as he picked up one of the five worms laid in front of him and began squeezing the juice into his cauldron.

Hmph. Not that hard.

Surely, Weird Boy would not refused to what she was about to ask him. They had a very cordial relationship, so there was no need for him to tell her no, yes? Right. She'd better not get her hopes up. He was a boy, after all--and a very weird one, at that.

Her forest green eyes rolled at his reply. Hilarious. Not. Weird Boy with all his Hufflepuff. . . Yellow-ness and pretty little prefect badge probably thought he could go all smart on her. Hmph. Nevertheless, this was not the time to snap something at him--not when she was about to ask him something, anyway. So, she simply acted as if she had not heard his comment. "Do you think that you could squeeze those things for me?" She asked, keeping her tone pleasant. No way she would be touching those things. Besiiiiiiides, he had been smart enough to bring gloves with him!

... Then if he already knew the answer, and he had already said it, why had he asked her in the first place? Hmph. Again, she kept her opinions to herself, not wanting upset him, for Willow was sure that if she did, he would not do that little favour for her.

While she waited for the boy's reply, Willow proceed to start the following step, which was peeling and crushing the shrivelfig. Eh. Potions was not fun anymore.

Reading the instructions carefully, she made sure that she had everything memorized and quickly took out her ingredients from her extensive potions kit that she had got as a mini present from her uncle over the summer. Firstly, she measured the exact amount of wax she needed and put it separate from the pile of raw ingredients so that she wouldn't get confused with the unmeasured pile. Next, she squeezed five flobberworms, making a face as they popped.

"Yuck," she muttered and put the fresh juice in it's container beside the beeswax, muttering a quick cleaning spell on her fingers to get rid of the remains of the flobberworms/the juice. Lastly, she peeled and crushed a single shrivelfig, massaging her arm as she put the finished result by the other ingredients, having worked hard to make it as fine as she could.

Checking once again that she had everything in place and set, she cast "Incendio," beneath her cauldron and popped the beeswax in, waiting for it to melt as she set aside the unwanted ingredients and dirty utensils, to be cleaned and packed later. After a few minutes, she saw that the wax had (finally!) melted and she added the disgusting juice to it. Making the fire stronger, she stirred the potion as the instructions said, careful to be exact.

Five minutes, Rachel added the last ingredient, lowered the heat and left the cauldron's contents to stew. Checking her watch, she calculated when 30 minutes would be over and began cleaning up her workspace, careful not to spill anything into the boiling cauldron or heaven forbid, knock it over. After packing the last of the ingredients, she set to cleaning the utensils the muggle way, seeing as she had over 25 minutes to wait.

Done, she checked her watch for the third time and sighed as she saw that she still had over 20 minutes to wait. Fiddling with the bottle of Calendula oil, she leaned over on the table and began studying the patterns of the wood and dirt on it, letting her mind wander freely. I have plenty of time anyway...

Looking up at the instructions for the Hair Removal Potion, Liz starts collecting her ingredients.

Setting her cauldron up, she places 2 tablespoons of beeswax in her cauldron, and starts a fire under it with Incendio

And then there was only five minuites left. He started cleaning up. He put things back in there right places and when he was done, all which was left was the oil.

And then finally a imaganary clock in his head went ding and he drew his wand "Agumentii" he murmered and the fire went out with a splash of water. And now he waited for it to cool now studying the wall behind the professer.

As the wax is melting in her cauldron, Liz takes a large dish from her bag, and places five flobberworms in it. Taking some gloves, her auntie had given her, out of her bag, she puts them on, and starts squeezing the flobberworms. Eww! I am so glad, my auntie gave me these this year! she thinks to herself.

Looking in her cauldron, she sees the wax has melted. After adding the flobberworm juice, she directs the heat to become hotter, and starts stirring. First she does clockwise for a minute and switches to counterclockwise.

Finally. The thirty minutes of stewing were up. Juniper quickly put out her fire and waited for the potion to cool. Then all she would have left to do would be adding the calendula oil. Simple enough, right?

Juniper hummed a tune she had heard over the summer and checked her potion every so often. Who would think that it would cool so slowly?

After 5 minutes of stirring one direction for a minute and then the other direction for a minute.

Liz adds the shrivelfig and lowers the flame so it's not as hot, and lets it stew for a half hour.

And then Barry,wanting to hurry up the process, cast agumentii on the cauldrin , not in it, and it was cooled, then to dry up the water he muttered a quick spell.

And that was it almost complete, he then carefully put in 10 drops of the oil, from his pocket he extracted an old bottle of mint oil, what was it doing in there? He decided to make the best of it and added 5 drops of it. Then to blend the oil in he stirred the potion a few times. And it was done. He just had to find a vial. And so he rummaged through his stuff....

Removing the heat from the cauldron, Liz finishes making notes, as it cools. Remembering that she needed to still put in the calendula oil, she places a jar of it next to her cauldron.

Raising her hand "Professor, does mine look okay," she asks, as she looks in her cauldron.

Barry then found the vial. It was slightly cracked, but a potion nontheless. He filled it up with potion and with a glance to ear-hair boy he asked "Professer, can we test it?"

Now that the thirty minutes was up Kayla took the cauldron off the flame and set it aside to allow it to cool. She made sure that the calendula oil and the vanilla she had decided to use as fragrance were ready to go.

Once the potion had cooled completely she added the oils and then peered at the potion. Hmm...better check with the professor before putting it on her legs. "Excuse me Professor, but does this look right to you?"

Ah! Finally! Zeke thought after thirty long minutes of waiting around. He removed the mixture from the heat to allow it to cool. Almost done, he thought to himself with a smile. He was proud of his work. He hadn't expected to be very good at potions, so it was a pleasant surprise that he'd done it right.

After the thirty minutes of waiting, Valentine took her cauldron off the flame, and smother the fire that was previously burning. She smiled to herself, happy with the final product of her potion.

Abby got some wax and calendula oil from Professor Bontescau's store. The first thing she does is cut up her shrivelfig. When she's finished, Abby starts a small fire under her cauldron and melts the wax. Abby then squeezes five flobberworms over her cauldron. Boy, they smell horrible. She then takes out her enchanted minute hour glass. Abby places it next to her cauldron and initiates the enchantment. She increases the heat under her cauldron and then starts stirring the wax/flobberworm clockwise for one minute and then counterclockwise for one minute. Vile fumes blow up into Abby's face. There must be some way to neutralize these fumes. Abby continues stirring while she looks in her potion book for an ingredient to eliminate the foul odor.

Fiiinally, her potion was cooled. Juniper added the ten drops of calendula oil and let the potion sit in her cauldron until Bontecou gave further instructions. After all, she was not sure that he wanted them to put it into a vial or flask or whatever.

After his potion had finally cooled, Zeke followed the last step in the instructions: adding the calendula oil. After he had done that, he waited for further instruction from the professor. He noticed a Ravenclaw who'd finished at about the same time he had. "Hi," he said to her. "I'm Zeke." He hoped she wouldn't get mad at him for talking in class. Sometimes Ravenclaws did that, it seemed. He didn't want a full-blown conversation, that would make the professor mad. But a little chit-chat?

Livvy read the directions carefully and got out her cauldron. She went to the cupboards to get her the supplies that she would be needing and began the potion. First she melted the wax and then added flobberworm juice -- poor flobberworms -- and began to stir for five minutes.

After a while of following the instructions, she noticed that she could add some essential oils. Then Livvy remembered the lotion Copernicus gave her. Huh. She wondered what would happen if she added it.
