Copernicus took a seat in the middle of the room and hoped Plymouth was as far from him as possible. Plymouth was good at getting attention, and less so at paying attention.

Plymouth Morgan was on a roll. He'd started off rocky with his five point loss, but after getting some extra points in Muggle Studies (He was clearly a muggleman), he had an extra bounce in his step.


"What's up, Headman?" Plymouth greeted the headman (indeed) as he entered. He sort of hovered near him, not yet taking his seat. "We're going to set some fires and stuff today?"

Camira quickly strolled into the classroom. She knew it was early, but she was excited. This was her favorite class, after all. "Good Day, Professor Bontecou", she said cheerfully, grabbing a seat in the front.

As she took out her potions textbook, quill and parchment, she remembered that she'd wanted to talk to the professor about something. "Professor, if it's not too much trouble, would I be able to have a word with you after class", she asked sweetly, flashing him a hopeful smile. This was, after all, important so she needed to secure a yes. "Oh, and will we be needing our cauldrons today?" She knew they probably would, but sometimes professors liked to start with theory and it never hurt to make sure.

"Good afternoon," he greeted the first student to come in and sit down. It wasn't too long before more were filing in. "Hello Mr. Morgan. How's the ear hair?" he grinned.

"Of course you can have a word, Miss Yaxley. And we will be needing our cauldrons, though as usual there will be some discussion first."

Camira beamed up at the Professor and quickly took out her cauldron, giving it a good scourgify to remove any possible trace of other potions, even though she'd already scrubbed it manually. "Thank you very much professor." Now she just needed to wait for class to start. Hopefully everyone would get here early and they could start soon.

Merlin. He'd went and said it. "Still growing, Sir. Don't suppose we're brewing a remedy today?" Poor Plymouth pulled his black pointy official Hogwarts hat down over his ears.

He looked ridiculous. The hat was for special occasions, but he'd been able to forget for it most of the day - his ridiculousness. Way to go Bontecou. Feeling a little deflated, Plymouth turned and went to go sit with Copernicus.

Not really paying attention to where she was going, for after five years, her feet had learned the way to the the potions classroon, Willow entered the the room, playing absentmindedly with the tip of her long ponytail.

"Good day, Professor Bontecou." Polite greeting delivered, the fifth year proceed to take seat around the middle of the classroom. There was absolutely no way she would take seat in the front; really, Willow was good at many things --or at least that's what she thought and told everyone that was willing to listen-- but being an expert at the art of brewing potions was definitely not one of them.

"Well, we can certainly talk about it," he hinted with a laugh. "Good afternoon, Miss Kovac. Seems everyone is taking their time today... or am I really that early?" he asked, looking at his watch.

Whistling cheerily to himself, Terry strolled into the classroom, pausing abruptly as he counted the ...three students in the room already. WHOA. He was on time? Scratch that, early? Well, this was a first then.

Attempting to recover, he beamed at the headmaster, flipping a hand away from his forehead in a mock-salute, 'Afternoon professor, I imagine you've had a good day so far?'

Letting his duffel bag fall to just above the floor, he moved towards a seat generally close to the others, unable to resist the oppurtunity of throwing a quick; 'Gorgeous hat, mate,' at the guy on his way, raising a dark eyebrow.

Sliding himself into a chair, he kicked his bag under the desk, clasping his arms behind his head as he waited for the other students to make their way in.

Kayla made her way into the potions classroom trying to remain a little optimistic, this was her worst subject after all. As she passed the Professor she gave him a smile. "Good afternoon Professor" she said as she looked for a table to sit at. She spotted Camira and made her way over to her. "Mind if I sit with you Camira?"

"No, sir, you're right on time," Copernicus spoke up from around his cauldron and text book and all his potion supplies... he was a bit eager.

Camira's smile brightened as Kayla walked in and made her way over to Camira. "Not at all. I'd be delighted, in fact", she said playfully. She was serious though. She hadn't seen Kayla as much this term and it kind of made her sad. "Oh, and I may need your help with something", she said mysteriously. What kind of term would it be if they didn't get themselves into some sort of trouble.

Giving a polite nod and an equally polite smile to the professor, the girl answered. "Perhaps a bit of both, sir?" Or, maybe people was late. Really, it would not surprise her if this was the case, considering that teenagers --boys, especially-- could be very irresponsible.

Livvy walked into the classroom and glanced at the clock. Whew. She wasn't late. She smiled at the professor. "Good afternoon Professor," Livvy said and glanced around for a familiar face. She smiled at Plymouth and Copernicus as she made her way towards them and sat down next to them. "You two very handsome and smart boys won't mind if I sit here will you?" Livvy asked, jokingly.

"You only wished you could rock the hat during the day, aye, man?" Plymouth grinned, gave the pointy hat a tug, and pretended to not be bothered how ridiculous he looked. And look, he had a GIRL wanting to sit with him! What did the annoying red team dude have? NOTHING. "Sure thing, missy ma'am pretty girl. " Plymouth patted the seat next to him.

Rachel walked in, surprised to see the Professor (or rather, Headmaster) already in the classroom. Am I really that late? she thought worriedly to herself as she looked down at her watch. Frowning as she saw that she was exactly on time, she made her way towards her usual seat and noticed Livvy not too far off. She was just about to change direction when her best friend went off and sat with two Ravenclaw boys unknown to her.

Looking away, she pretended like she hadn't noticed her and sat down, taking out her things quickly. "Hello Professor," she greeted him with a smile, putting all thoughts of her friends at the back of the head as she prepared herself for the lesson.

Barry walked into class. He was looking forward to potions. He`d practiced the basic ones at home so perhaps, perhaps it wouldn`t result in him failing again. He said "Good day is it not professer?" and took a seat next to their prefect Rachel perhaps she could help him. He got his stuff out and waited for class to begin

Emiliano walked in the classroom and greeted the professor with a nod. He quickly went to sit down to a seat nearby, just to not get distracted and looked around, took a long breath and started to look through his potions book.

Kayla chuckled at Camira. "Of course you would" she said flippantly and tossing Camira a wink. She eyed Camira for a moment at her mysterious look and wasn't quite sure how to react. "Well I guess if you help me out with potions, then I'll be happy to return the favour." She sincerely hoped that she wasn't going to regret those words but hey it couldn't be that bad could it?

"I've had a fantastic day, so far, thank you."

"I think we can wait for the practical portion of the lesson for that, thank you," he smiled.




After a few more minutes of waiting, he closed the door went to stand in front of the class again. "Alright, today we're going to be discussing the diversity of potions, but first I need your help. I'm not sure if you heard about my last lesson where a poltergeist showed up, but he caused quite a stir. Now, can help me come up with any ideas for how we can protect ourselves and our potions should he give a repeat performance?"

Kayla raised her hand. "Perhaps a shield charm of some sort to create a barrier to keep him out. Or you could give him five minutes alone with me and I'll sort him out" she added jokingly.

Juniper bit her lip, pondering the headmaster's question for a moment. Then she hesitantly raised her hand. She had an idea, but she was not sure if it would work. "Could we perhaps use an imperturbable charm to keep him out of our potions?" she suggested.

Barry put his hand up "Is`nt a poltergeist unlike a ghost? Could you not transfigurate something into a brick wall to stop him getting in " he said. It was lame but he might as well try

Rachel pondered the professor's words, remembering the fateful incident with Cale, his plants, Peeves and all in Vindictus's office. "We could make the door and the walls imperturbable, sir. That way, he can't possibly get in," she said, having thought this out the minute she had met Peeves.
