Kait walked into the classroom and said, "Hello, Professor." She picked up a copy of each of the papers and grabbed a cookie and made her way to an unoccupied seat. She looked around the classroom to see if there was anyone she knew and then sat down. She starting eating her cooking as she watched more students file in.

Miles turned to the girl he sat next to, whilst taking out some scrap parchement from his bag. "Hi, I'm Miles." He smiled, but said it quite quietly as he didn't really want to disturb the class.

He grinned, and began munching in his cookie. "Herrro." Miles said, trying to keep his mouth closed as he eat. Once he finished, he said hello properly and offere her the other half. Just like a little kiddie. Nyaaw.

Helena walked and took a seat as far back as she could. She didn't like sitting really close to the front. She opened her bag and took out one of her notebooks, a quill, and some ink and laid them all neatly on her desk - waiting for the lesson to begin. Helena's pale fingers drummed the side of her desk as she waited.

After dumping her bag on her desk, Qaz walked up to the front of the classroom, picked up a copy of each of the handouts, a cookie and pumpkin juice.

She returned to her seat and got prepared....out of her bag came the spiral bound notebook reserved for Muggle Studies, and her favorite purple gel pen. Then she pulled out her big surprise, and brought it up to the front....

'Professor, I brought a treat for the class....Bazooka Joe Bubble Gum...with your permission, of course.' Qaz said with a smile, as she placed the bag next to the cookies...then returned to her seat.

Jack leant back on his chair resting his feet on the desk and putting his hands behind his head, he liked this big room, sorta.

She smiled. "Hello Miles," she said softly to match his tone. She guessed he didn't want to get into trouble for talking and neither did she.

Vanessa giggled a little as he tried to say hello, whilst eating some cookie. "Cute," She smirked at him, as she pulled some parchment, and a quill out of her bag.
"Whos your friend?" She asked, motioning to Paris, who was sat the other side of Miles.

As Dominic was awaiting the start of the lesson, he shifted uncomfortably at noticing someone sit down next to him. Only a moment though as he then realized it was only the young first year pet of Kayla's, Jacob. Giving him a furtive he nod, he then turned back towards the front.

Not before sneaking a glance around the room to note all the young Hufflepuffs there. Excellent.

She smiled at her. "Hi, I'm Paris Greenwood," She noted the the girl wasn't much taller than she was. She liked her instantly. Short people had to band together.

Natka walked into the Muggle Studies classroom, looking around for an empty seat.

"Hello, Professor Dumont," she said with a smile.

Damian walked into the room search a free seat.

"Good morning Professor", sid he after he took a seat.

"Move over," Aggie said after weaving her way up to the desk that Tobi was seated at. Something had told her, after looking at the handouts that she was going to need Tobi’s help. Aggie wasn’t the greatest at this subject and partially didn’t understand why her grandfather insisted she take it. She didn’t plan on going into a field that required her to know what the function of a car horn was.

“Common,” she said nudging Tobi’s shoulder when he didn’t move fast enough. “I’ll give you my cookie.” Food, was always a good motivator for her fellow Gryffindor.

Antonio smiled at all the students who had shown up in the classroom, far more than he had ever remembered before. "How wonderful to see all of you," he said enthusiastically. "And thank you, Qaz, I'm sure everyone will enjoy the bubblegum. Feel free to give it a try, as well, students, you will find it most interesting."

"I hope you will all find today's lesson interesting as well, and valuable," Antonio continued. "First off, here is how it's going to work. I will give 3 points to the first person who answers correctly and one point for each person thereafter, and then give points accordingly for the problem solving part of the lesson, which we will get to. All your points will be posted in after the lesson, don't worry, I promise you will all get them. After the currency part is done, don't leave, as we have another subject to cover today, and you will be able to earn points for that, too. And there will be homework at the end of this lesson, of course, so you will all be able to earn more points. Homework is going to be based on both parts of today's lesson."

"I also want to let you all know that there is going to be a really fun adventure for all of you at the end of this term as part of your final exam, but that is all I will tell you now. This and my next two lessons will all lead into that." He smiled mysteriously at this point.

"One other thing. No one is allowed to enter the classroom late, I will deduct points for loud announcements such as, "Sorry I'm late, I had to stop off at the restroom", or that sort of thing. Just take a seat and start working."

"Now, I guess we will get started. Who can tell me what the standard currencies are which are used here in the wizarding world? There are three different types of money we use, who knows them?"

Allie raised her hand.
"We use Knuts, Galleons, and Sickles." she said.

Ana walked into the classroom. This should be easy...being a muggleborn should help. Cookies and juice... this is really different from muggle shcool... and i love it.. "Hello Professor!" She tried to find her friends when she saw Cadence. "Hi! Can i join you?"

That was easy. "Galleons, Sickles and Knuts, Professor." Clifford said, raising a hand.

Lasca glided into the classroom. Walking to the front she grabbed the two hand outs and helped herself to a cookie. Turning to the professor she gave him a curtsy. "Good day professor." Turning she went to find an empty seat.

This class is going to be interesting. Having spent a limited amount of time with muggles herself, she was apprehensive as to what the class would cover.

Tobi jumped a little, cracking his knees on the underside of his desk. "OW!" He muffled a cry in his sleeve. "Blast it woman! I thought you didn't want to take this class," he whispered petulantly as he rubbed his knees and scooted over. "Or did you hear a Muggle Stud was teaching it and have a change of heart?"

He yanked the cookie out of his best friend's hand and shoved it half in his mouth.

"Galleons, Sickles and Knuts" Jack called to Dumont with a grin

"Galleons, Sickles and knuts. Sir." Miles said with his hand raised.

Kaytee raised her hand. "In the wizarding world, we use galleons, knuts, and sickles."

Elizabeth raised her hand. "The standard wizarding currency is split into galleons, sickles and knuts." She should know, since Alyssa's cousin worked at Gringotts.

Theo raised his hand, "We use knuts and sickles and galleons."

Jake raised his hand. "Erm, galleons, sickles and Knuts, sir?" He hoped it was right...

Chris raised his hand "They are the Galleon, the sickle and the knut, sir."
