Shana stopped being quiet and raised her hand I'd wear anything aslong as it matched and the colors weren't to different I'd mostly wear jeans and a jacket though.

Chuckling out loud in the back of the class with the handout Chase looked at everyone else as they searched through the packet. It was funny to watch the expressions on some of the students faces. He smirked looking back at his handout

Miranda considered the pictures a moment before raising her hand. "I think I'd probably wear one of these flowy skirts? With a t-shirt. And...'tennis shoes'."

Jake stuck up his hand again. "I suppose it would also be something not too eye-catching, no? So people are there to focus on the learning, not each other," Jake explained. "Which, I suppose, is the reason for uniforms." Jake shrugged and tried to read on.

Cadence swallowed hard as she realized that the Prefect was giving her that look of death too. I didn't do anything. She thought to herself. I hope Jack and Melanie will stick up for me, tell him I was just trying to get Melanie to calm down. she silently prayed, but realized that to Jack, this wasn't so silent.

Anna raised her hand. "I think I would enjoy not wearing uniforms to school, sir," Anna replied. "I've read that while some muggle schools are required to wear school uniforms, there are other muggle schools that allow the students to wear whatever they please. Well, within reason, of course." Anna glanced at the many different styles the professor had shown them. There were men, women, and children wearing all sorts of different clothes. "I think it would be fun to wear some of these cute, stylish dresses to school," Anna continued. "There are a lot of cute heels available, but those probably wouldn't be too comfortable to wear all day long."

"I think it would nice to wear blue jeans to school sometimes, too," she added. "As for shirts, of course I like the pink ones I see here." Handbags weren't too unfamiliar to Anna. She usually carried a bag around with her wherever she went anyway. "I like the really big handbags," she finished.

Jack winked at her, he would stick up for her.

Set wispered to Cadence, "I'm sure he was talking to you"

Elan was quick on this one. He would wear what he normally wore in his previous school. "Sir, I would wear blue jeans and a light colored button up shirt. Nice loafers, perhaps brown and that would be about it."

Kaytee thought about that for a moment. She guessed if it depended on if there were school uniforms or not. "I would wear the school uniform... but if we got to wear casual clothes, I'd just wear jeans and a nice shirt." She wasn't one to go all out to impress the boys. Whatever was comfortable was good enough for her.

Cadence let out a sigh and relaxed as she saw Jack wink at her.

Cadence smiled at Set appreciatively. Then tore off a piece of parchment and scribbled a note on it and passed it to him.

Set looked as the Prefect gave HIM a look of death. "Ok, maybe he was?" said Set.

"I think the preferct is talking to us...all" she whispered

Jake shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He was glad he'd chosen to sit here, next to the Prefect, so we wasn't tempted to talk to the other first year Hufflepuffs, but it was tempting to tell them to shut up. Plus, he wouldn't feel pleased with sitting here if Dominic got mad. Gulping and trying to distract himself, Jake raised his hand.

"Sorry to be a pain, Professor. But why do some schools not require a uniform, but other schools go out of their way to make sure the pupils wear a uniform?" All this was confusing Jake, he was a little annoyed he hadn't stayed in muggle school, but not overly so.

Set then decided to answer the question. He raised his hand and said "I'd wear something popular. I lived in the muggle world and I always wore jeans and hoodies!"

After going through the handout about fashion, Lizzie started to draw on the backside of her notebook while thinking. How to dress..? with a smile she thought of how they'd dressed at her last school, then wondered if jeans would be considered as a proper school outfit..?

"Well if i had to wear a muggle uniform it would be jeans and a t-shirt sir." Chris said with his hand raised. 'And also if for everyday things i would wear hoodies."

Cadence exchanged nervous glances with both of them. Now Ana definitely hadn't done anything wrong. She had been paying attention and not talking, like, at all. Sure, maybe Set had talked a little, but the two of them had been talking about the text that the Professor had handed out. The only other talking Cadence had done was telling Melanie to let it go, and now they were all going to get in trouble.

Her stomach knotted up and she could feel her skin burning hot. She hated getting reprimanded, especially when she didn't think she did anything wrong, and she hated even more that her friends were going to get in trouble for no reason too.

She scribbled a note on her parchment, this time to Ana, and moved it to the edge of her desk so Ana could read it.

Cadence smiled and looked at her desk as she though of how cute Set would look in the popular sort of clothes Muggles wore.

Ana read the note and wrote something and gave it to Cadence.

Jack smiled at Cadence

Cadence looked at Ana and gave her a Really, it will be okay look. She continued listening to the rest of the class, dreading its end and what would await them in the common room.

"My old school had us wearing uniforms. The principal which is like the headmaster said that they were used to make everyone equal. You can't tell who is rich and who is poor by what they are wearing if everyone is wearing the same thing." Chalice explained.

Qaz raised her hand and offered, 'When I went to Muggle school, in warm weather we could wear shorts, but in the winter, it got so cold that we had to bundle up...big boots, heavy coats...we had these get-ups called snow-mobile suits, that were thick one-peice affairs...pants and jacket together..that zipped up the front. Not very attractive, but they kept you warm.'
