John got on the plane and wondered where Sarah was maybe she had got lost. He looked around the plane for his seat and soon found it. C12 it was a window seat, he was so happy maybe he could actual see flubber outside the window like in the film flubber or maybe he would see something so unbelievable like witches on their broomsticks, if not he knew it was going to be a boring trip. He looked up and realised that the plane was empty, it wasn't a good sign when you get on something and in appear deserted, he hoped that he had got on the right plane, well this was a boeing 747 and it was in the terminal he had to go on so he probably was the first person on it. He put his clothes he had brought in the clothes shop in the over head compartment and then sat down and waited for the time of the departer which was very soon, he hoped that Sarah would get on overwise it would be a very boring trip to american and no matter now many films where on he wouldn't help but get bored.

Suddenly a flight stewart went passed and he decided to ask her if they would be watching a film on the way to America she replied they would be and that the films where Flubber, Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets and finaly we would watch Spiderman. I was over the moon three of my favorate movies ever and I would be getting to watch them on the flight over to America. I sat down and thought to myself. "How do planes fly and how can we watch films on them. I could come up with no logical reason so I decided to go back to watching the door incase anyone decided to come into the plane.

Aerilyn pulled her ticket out of her over coat and read it upside down, then turning it right side again she saw that she was in the right place. She walked up to this lady who seemed to be taking the tickets, when it was her turn she said nothing and just gave that lady her ticket. Walking on the plat form to the plane she started to get scared. This was her first time on a plane, she was used to using the floo-network.

Aerilyn found her seat and for her good it was in the middle of the plane she wouldnt be able to handle being beside a window. She pulled all of her stuff onto her lap, trying to figure out where it goes. She looked over to other people putting their luggage over their heads in what looked like plastic cuboards so she followed what they were doing. After putting her stuff away she made sure that she kept out her blanket and pillow so she could hide. Plus some gum, she remembers reading somewhere that people chew gum on air planes.

Clutching her gum,pillow and blanket she put her feet up waiting for the rest of the people to board the plane.

Freya walked on board very carefully, this place was so insanely cramped! Ugh!
She walked down the narrow aisles dressed in her new clothes...of course now she was a towering 6' 5", because of three inch soles. Again, Freya adjusted her dark, short sleeved top and made sure that it was straight; her legs looked even longer than usual in jeans and the dark glasses made her look like a character from an action movie. 'Yeah, I'm subtle...a giraffe in a dress would be less obvious than me.'

Slowly she walked the narrow paths before finding her seat that was listed on the ticket. 'B18' Hm? That was odd, Freya was eighteen! Could this be good luck?
Freya saw that her assigned seat was located right next to the aisle, but that only meant more leg room for her. 'Thank goodness.' She stretched her overly long legs out from directly behind the chair in front of her. Muggles could stand to travel like this? All packed in like sardines in a metal tin? Geepers.

She glanced around the interior of the plane for a moment before removing her sunglasses, she hadn't spotted anyone that she really knew yet, and doubted that she would. 'Houston, Texas. I've never been there before...let's hope it's no too dreadfully hot.'
Looking up there were a whole lot of buttons. So Freya reached up and pressed one; a light came on. 'Hmm...' She hit another one and a pair of headphones came down from a small compartment above. 'Eek!' Freya forced them back in. Finally, she hit another one...nothing happened. 'Must be broken.' Freya couldn't resist but hit the button a few more times, stopping when a voice was heard. 'Oops.'

"Sorry, um, I thought it was broken. Sorry." Freya sighed as one of the 'plane waitresses' walked away with a sour face. "I should probably not touch anything else right now."

Leeroy got on the plane and shook his head in dismay. He was terrified of heights. This would not be good. He sayt down next to a window, pulled the plastic thing over it and leaned against it, trying to fall asleep. He had never been so scared in his life, and he didn't trust this muggle technology.

Sneeze smiled as he got on the airplane. He had been traveling in them for years, so he was used to it. He sat down at his seat, and looked down the asile. "Where's Rian?" He whisperd. His robes and everything was now in his backpack, his muggle clothes on. Sneeze took out a book and started reading it. Then he looked up. Rian was supposed to have the window seat, so just to be sure he put his bag in her seat.
Sneeze then looked down the plane again, a frown on his face.

"This is a test, James, so don't even think about it!"
"Think about what?"
"About trying to get Rian to be, you know, your girlfriend. Again."
"What?!? I wasn't thinking about that! But wait a second..."
"Oh, no. Don't get any ideas!"
"Now that you talk about it..."
"NO! Ahh, my bloody tongue!"
"Can I atleast talk to her about it."
"No, that might frighten her."
"How about just talking about plans for summer?"
"Yeah, that's alright. But wait, don't you like that Hufflepuff girl?
"Yeah, but..."
"Hey, no buts! So you like both of them?"
"Well..."
"I thought so!"

Sneeze then thought for a second. What were those voices in his head and why were they fighting?

Rian hurried onto the plane, and looked around widely. She had taken a little bit longer getting into these clothes then expected. But now she was fully in muggle clothes. She rolled her eyes at herself as she searched the plane with her eyes, looking for Sneeze.

Finally, she found him. And she also found, to her slight horror, that he had given her the window seat. Now normally, this would be a nice gesture. But since Rian could hardly stand on a chair without getting scared, perhaps a window seat in an airplane wasn't a smart idea...

Despite that, she sat down after setting Sneeze's bag on the ground. "Hey," she said cheerfully, relaxing back into the seat. She expected this to be a long ride.

Running onto the plane,Sarah tried not to step on anyones toes as she walked down the aisle,ticket in hand,looking for John and her seat.
They were supposed to be next to each other in C12 & C13.It was a while before she found him.
"John! Sorry I'm late,traffic on the way to the airport." she waved to him,bag in hand.Oh poop how am I going to reach the overhead locker to put this away?! God I hate being short.
Turning round to see if she could find a steward,Sarah bumped right into the one that had just been talking to John. "Oh would you mind placing this up there for me please? Thank you so much." she finished with her best polite smile,watching the woman do it.This was going to be a long flight,best to get on the good side of the staff.

Just then she looked at the numbered seats...great an aisle seat.I'm gonna get hit with the trolley all flight now!
"Hey John," she smiled,squeezing in next to him. "You looking forward to this? Been on a plane before? I wonder if they will have those little cans of drink....or the tiny packets of peanuts.They are REALLY hard to open!" she giggled. "I had some once on a flight to Canada.Took me ages to rip them open and when I did they flew everywhere.The guy in front got one in the back of the head!"
Waffling,Sarah,you are waffling.
She couldn't help it,though.She had never been to a concert before or on any sort of adventure without her parents.
This was going to be fun.

John looked at Sarah and smiled. "It's okay, I would have done anything to stop the plane, well I would have tried to do anything." He laughed as he looked at her. "I wonder how these thing fly, I have never been on one before, I haven't even been out of the country before so this could be fun, saying that I hadn't even left my town until I came to hogwarts unless it was with my school." He laughed as he realised that he must have been going on. He hoped that Sarah didn't mind and was going to say something when the captain said put your seatbelts on as the plane is about to take off.

John did as he was asked and then turn to Sarah as he listerned to everything Sarah said. "What's a peanut?" He had never heard of anything with that name so it was weird. "And doesn't this defy the laws of physics, how does something so big fly?" He wished there was another way to get there he wished he was watching F1 in his house or he was safe at Hogwarts. "Well I hope we are going to the right place." He laughed there was no going back now, the plane was about to take off.

Sneeze looked up and smiled. "Hey, Rian. You ready for a nice long trip?" He looked at her and his heart just jumped. He looked at her and out the window.

"Ok, I like her. You happy?"
"Yeah, sorta. Now, move your hand."
"What?"
“Move your hand. Can’t you follow directions!”
"Well, yeah, but didn't you say I shouldn't try..."
"I know but, well atleast talk to her!"

Sneeze smiled at Rian. "So, since we have a few hours, lets talk. Anything new with you?" He then, slowly, his hand touched and held Rians.

"You did it! I had noting to do with it!
"Alright, I'm sorry. I just have to see if she likes us."
"Us!!!! Who's us?"

Rian, who had been looking out the window, quickly turned away. She was off the ground! Come on, people, this was scary! She barely heard the question Sneeze asked her, because she was trying to get herself confortable in a position where she was no longer able to look out the window. Her back was now to it.

"Anything new?" she repeated. "Well, I - " She looked down at her hand, which was now held by Sneeze's. He had done it this time, not her! After a split second's decision, she resolved to leave her hand there.

Okay...back to the conversation... "Nothin's new," she answered a bit hesitantly, trying not to show any emotion she hadn't been showing a few minutes earlier. "Except for all the finals! I mean, they all happen at once. I swear my bag weighs more than I do." Classic Ravenclaw. Talk about school when your ex-boyfriend is actually holding your hand for the first time since you broke up. Nice, Rian.

Sneeze smiled at Rian. "So much work right? Becareful, you don't want to damage your back." He laughed a bit.

"Idiot."
"Who you calling an idiot?!?!"
"You. You just told her that her back would hurt!"
"Who are you anyways?"
"Well, I'm your conscience. But call me Joe."
"Well, Joe, she seems to have kept her hand there. You think she likes me?"
"Well, by how she's acting, maybe. Ask her."
"Ask her! What?!?!"
"Alright, not now but you will do it. Follow my lead."

Sneeze smiled. "So, let's see. I think we have this final ready. It's awesome! And, I still have feelings for you. How about you?"

"Smooth, James, smooth."
"YOU said to follow YOUR lead. I did what you told me to do!
"I'm a voice in your head! Think about it! Are you just going to trust a voice in your head! Idiot!"

Rian chuckled and nodded. "Well, the term's almost over. I suppose I can deal with it for a little bit longer-" The term's almost over?! The term was almost over, Rian wasn't coming back to school, and Sneeze was holding her hand?! And she was also on a plane for the first time in her fourteen years. Suddenly, Rian felt a bit dizzy.

And, to make it even worse, she was hearing things.

I still have feelings for you. Her stupid stressed-out mind, making up stupid things that were just going to get her in trouble. There was no way that Sneeze still had feelings for her. No way at all.

Right?

Focus on the final! Ask a question about America! she demanded to herself. But she found herself saying, "Did you just say you had feelings for me?" That is not about the final! the smart part of her brain scolded. But the not-so-smart part of her brain was focused on the current conversation. She was looking at Sneeze with a mixture of surprise and hope on her face, but she didn't say anything else yet.

Qaz got on board and walked down the aisle to her seat. She always got an aisle seat. Maybe she was a bit paranoid, be she wanted to be able to move in a hurry.

All she hand with her was one carryon bag. She'd flown enough to know how much of a pain it was to check luggage. Besides, she normally traveled light. She was glad that her wand made it through security. The hollowed out curling iron was perfect for the job.

Besides, she was heading to LA. The dress code there was very minimalistic, which suited her just fine. Jeans, shorts, T-Shirts were her staples. She did bring her tunes, though. After all that time at Hogwarts, listening to Muggle music was going to be fantastic.

Sneeze began to worry. He frowned.

"Did you hear that!?!? She asked me the if I just asked..."
"Hey, don't worry, man. She must be thinking of something else. You know, you aren't the most intresting person in the world."
"Oh, yeah, that makes me feel sooo much better. I hate you, Joe.
"Hate ya right back. Now, talk."
"Alright, what should I say?"

Sneeze looked at Rian. "Yeah, I did say I still had feelings for you. I'm sorry." He looked down.

"That sounded good."
"Hey, who are you?"
"I'm your heart, but call me Linda."
"Hey, Linda. Nice seeing you again.
"Hey, Joe. Your doing a good job up here. We might actually have a chance."
"Hey, he's not doing anything! I'm the one saying and doing everything here. I'm the one that actually exsists."
"That's what you think..."

Sarah laughed as John said he would have tried to stop the plane leaving.
"That's sweet,but I think it would have taken alot to make them stay!"
Turning her head towards the voice of the Captain,Sarah,too,heard him say to fasten the seatbelts.This was it,they were really going to America.Really going to see a concert...To have fun!
Looking round again at John,she listened as he said he'd never been abroad before. "Really you haven't?," she asked. "Well it's going to be interesting and your ears might pop as we take off..something to do with the change in air pressure I think."

Peanuts? How to explain peanuts.Hmmm.
"Well you know Mr Masterson,the groundskeeper,loves acorns? They are sort of like that but smaller and you can eat them and they don't have the little casing on the bottom...." Yeah way to go Sarah,that was a very good description...NOT.
"They taste lovely though,if you can manage to open them..."

Sarah sat with a puzzled expression on her face when John started mentioning physics and how did the plane fly.In truth she had no idea.It had been something she remembered asking her father once...and he didn't know either.As he had told her...as long as it stays up who cares how it's done? She wasn't sure that was a good thing to say to a first time flyer,however.So she opted for more waffling... "I think it's something to do with vacuums and air currents,plus the moving things on the wings," she said,pointing out the window at the large bird-like structure attached to the side of the plane.

Ooooh change of subject.Were they going to the right place? I hope so,but either way I like the sound of a concert more than a movie premiere or wrestling match.
"I think we are," she responded,smiling at him. "The clues seem to point that way."

Just as she spoke the plane started to roar into life and taxi to the runway.A sudden thought hit her...did they have enough money left to last them?
"John," she began,leaning forward to pick up the handbag her mum had leant her, "how much money do you have left? We could pool our resources to buy food,drinks and souvenirs...what do ya think? I've got about $130."

"No." He said as he looked out of the window. "I liked it where I lived so why would I ever want to go anywhere else?" He laughed as he looked at Sarah. "what the?" He cried. "I don't want my ears to pop I like them the way they are and I need my ears." He cried as he felt like getting off the plane but knew it was to late now.

He looked at Sarah as she told him what peanuts are. "Well I'll try anything once." He laughed. "But if they taste disguisting they will go straight into the bin."

He looked outside. "I hope the plane doesn't crash." He said still unsure of how safe it was, it was like what that man on star trek said. "You can not defy the laws of physics captain." He laughed as he remembered watching the programme. In his most funniest voice he said to Sarah. "You can not defy the laws of physics Sarah." He hoped she wouldn't mind. "I don't want to end up somewhere on a desert island with nothing to do." He still couldn't see how this thing flew. "Well if it stay up in the air I'll be happy."

"I've always wanted to go to a concert." He smiled as he thought about the first consert they were going to. "I am glad I am going to the concert with you Sarah, it wouldn't have been fun if I went on my own." He smiled as he looked out of the window as the plane went down the runway. "I've seen wrestling so much on t.v and this years Wrestlemania doesn't seem to be as good as the other, plus with being at Hogwarts I haven't been able to follow it." He smiled as he turned to look at Sarah again.

He was about to tell her how much money he had when the plane went into the air and "POP" went his ears. "Are my ears still there?" He asked as he couldn't hear a thing for a bit. "I have $135 dollers left I didn't buy a map." He smiled. "I think we should buy Professor Dumont something for letting us go on this trip, what do you think?" He asked her.

Good point.If you like where you are,why go anywhere else? Sarah felt like that when she first got her Hogwarts letter.She liked being able to stay at home while still going to school..now she had to live away during term.It had been scary,but it had also broadened her horizons and she was glad it had happened.
She giggled as he panicked about his ears. "Don't worry you won't lose them,just your hearing for a few minutes.Gulp several times and it should come back."

"Oh noes!" she gasped at the peanut comment. "You can't throw them away! I'm sure you won't want to anyway.But if you don't like them I'll eat them.The human dust bin my dad calls me.." she laughed,pushing herself back in her seat.

Sarah followed John's gaze out the window.Crash? She hadn't thought of that.No it didn't happen at all often..they'd be safe,she was sure of it...
"No I don't think I'd like being on a desert island either.I burn very easily in the sun and sunblock was one thing I didn't buy in the shop," she winked.

"Me too! But they don't tend to happen around where I live and my parents don't have a car to take me to any." She sighed and started fiddling with her hair.
Awww John was being so sweet.Up until now she was of the impression that all boys were useless and had cooties...turns out it's not true.
"I'm glad I'm going with you too," she smiled. "Certainly makes it more interesting going with someone.This is our little Huffie adventure! WoooHooo!!" she shouted,a little too loudly.Looking around to see if anyone had noticed she then sunk back into her seat as the plane took off...and her ears popped.

"What?!," she shouted to John. "Your ears? Hehe yes they're still there.It'll be fine in a few minutes I promise!"
She had to lip read what he said next as engine roar and ear popping didn't really mix.
"$135? Oh cool,we should get by on that.And I needed that map,thank you," she said nudging him on the arm. "I have a terrible sense of direction!"
Hmmm a present for Professor Dumont? That would be a great idea.Hopefully they would pick something he liked.
"Sounds great..the gift idea I mean.Something related to the concert maybe?"

Sorry? He was sorry for saying that he still had feelings for her?! Rian frowned, and looked down at her hands...and Sneeze's hand. She didn't know what to say to him, because she had to sit here for hours while she waited to get to America. Then she had to go to the wrestling thing with him. And if she said something awkward, she'd have to deal with the consequences for a very long time.

But what could she say? It's a good thing you're sorry, because I don't like you anymore. Well, she could, but that'd be a lie. A HUGE lie. And Rian didn't lie very well.

Once again she was screaming at herself to say something about the final. What do you think the wrestling match will be like? Have you ever been to America? My dad told me that Texas was a great place. Have you heard anything about it? But once again, she found that she couldn't listen to herself, even if she wanted to. "You don't have to be sorry," she said in a voice barely above a whisper.

"Look, Rian. All this year I missed you being my girlfriend. Everyday I woke up and went to class just to try to see you. It sounds stalkerish, I know but it's true. I like you so much." Sneeze said this all pretty fast. He then thought of what he said.

"Smooth. That sounded good. Your doing fine."
"Well, thank you. Linda, what do you think?"
"It all came from the heart, well me to be exact. I love it."
"Thank you. So you think she'll buy it?"
"Oh, yeah,"

Sneeze saw the drink cart come and asked for a butterbeer. Then he remembered they wouldn't have that so he asked for a Coke.

Rian could hardly believe her ears. Had Sneeze just said that he missed her being his girlfriend? Really? She looked up to him, and smiled slighlty. "I..." she didn't know what to say. It sounded cheesy just to say 'me too', but that was how she felt.

"Melanie..." was what came from her mouth. She only knew this girl by her name and looks, and she'd never talked to her. But she'd seen Sneeze with her before...

She had no clue why she said her name. Maybe just to get Sneeze to say that he liked her again? She didn't know the answer to that, but she knew what she had meant to say in the first place. "I miss being your girlfriend," she said quietly, still looking at Sneeze.

"So where do we go from that, people?"
"We? Whose this we? You said you could do this all by yourself."
"I was wrong. Forgive me?"
"Yeah, we forgive you. Now, Linda, since you are his heart, tell us, what should we do?"
"Well, recap. You said you missed her, she said she missed you. So now you... wait a second. Let me find the manual."
"What manual?"
"It's the Life Manual. Tells us what we should do in some situations."
"It says here to... doesn't say anything about it."
"Kiss her."
"Here! Now? No!"
"Do something."

"Rian, I know your leaving in two years, right? But can't we enjoy being together until that last day..." Sneeze said. He then kissed her. He did it maybe to fast but so no one on the airplane would notice. He looked forward.

"Good job! Bravo!"
"Hey, we haven't finished yet, Joe. She hasn't said anything..."
"Never count the chicks before they hatch..."

"Sneeze, I'm leaving after this-" Rian couldn't finish before Sneeze kissed her. Thankfully it was quick, so he wouldn't be able to tell that she froze as soon as he did. He really had to stop doing that. Get her all confused and then go off and not talk to her for months on end...

"Sneeze, I'm leaving after this term." this came out in a rush, and she didn't know how he'd take to it. Last time she'd talked to him about it, she hadn't been leaving until after her fifth year. But...take a deep breath, she reminded herself, realizing that she'd been holding her breath, waiting for Sneeze's reaction.

"This term. After. What?!? Why haven't you told me? I know I haven't talked to you in a while but I need time to think, you know. Oh, no." At this time Sneeze put his head in his hands.

"Why does this happen to me! Really?"
"How about we leave you alone. Come on Linda."
"No, don't leave!"
A door somewhere closed.

"Alright. I understand. But, Rian. I don't care if we're away, I just want to know that we are together." Sneeze said this, his head still in his hands. His hair was becoming wet from the little plastic cup of Coke on his open table thing.

Freya sat in her designated seat while the plane soared over the water. The girl shivered slightly and gave an awkward smile to the man sitting next to her, after realizing that she had leaned over a little too far to peek out of the window. "Sorry, Sir." Freya sat back again in her own chair and allowed the man to read his newspaper in peace.

She yawned slightly and pulled out the map of Texas that she had purchased before leaving. Opening the large paper folds, Freya quickly spotted where she would need to go after the plane landed. 'That'll take ages to get there by foot...though I could run. Naw...I could just take a shuttle, or a taxi. Yes, taxi might be better. But there are probably ways of getting there with other patrons.' Freya closed up the map and glanced towards the window again. Hopefully they would be over land soon; the ocean was too freaky.

It took a while for Freya to get settled in, and she got a bit cramped due to the fact that she needed to pull her legs in from the aisle in order for other people to get through. So, with her knees crunched up behind another person's chair, a fear of the ocean below, a grumpy middle aged man next to her, and now a grumbling stomach, Freya prepared herself for a dreadfully long flight. 'If I had apparated there I wouldn't have to suffer through this.' The girl closed her eyes and tried to think of happy thoughts...preferably where her knees weren't uncomfortable. 'I wonder how muggles behave during things like a wrestling match...?'
