"Sounds good to me." Freya said with a smile, and took what was handed to her by the younger boy. He had responded first after all, and even though Freya felt bad for the tall guy after cracking his skull open (nearly), first come first serve...or take...whatever.

"Thank you both, I hope your head feels better." Freya finished kindly looking to poor Tobi and went over to where she needed to go next. It had been ages since Freya was new to her height, but guys did tend to sprout up a little after the girls did usually.

Sarah wandered into the Money Exchange station,100 Galleons clutched firmly in her hands.It was more wizard money than she had ever had in her short witch life and now she was going to change it for more Muggle money than she had ever seen!
Walking up to the counter Sarah put on her best smile for the boys behind it. "Can I please exchange this for American Dollars..." she said reaching out and giving them what she had.

Supposed to work as a team too? She thought while waiting for the exchange.How can I find anyone to work with?!

Tobi smiled, I'm gonna beatchu! he thought in the general direction of Ross and Jake.

He checked Sarah's money and found that it was all there. "Here you go then, 500 US Dollars," he announced counting out the bills and handing them back to her.

"Good luck!" he wished.

"Thank you very much kind Sir!" Sarah said cheerily as she took the money offered to her by the older Gryffindor.
"Oh and thanks for the good luck.I have a terrible feeling I will do badly in this!" she giggled,before waving to them and leaving for the next stop: Transportation Center.

Turning to the other two, Jake tilted his head. "Maybe we should split it up a tad..." he suggested. "I take first years and fifth years... Ross can take 3rd years and... sixth years... and Tobi can take seventh years and 4th years..." Jake mused over that for a while. It seemed random, but he liked the 5th years, they were mostly nice. "And we can all pounce for the 2nd years..."

He looked up at the two older boys. "What do you think?"

Jake had a point, there was so much wrong with this "jumping for every person who came near them" practice...

Tobi shrugged, "It works for me, man, cool." He raised a hand for high fives. "Good idea Jake."

Beaming, Jake stretched up on his tip-toes, before jumping and giving himself some extra height before giving Tobi a high five. Woot! Now they were a tad more organised. Yip yip. "Thanks!"

Tally ho, and travel forth, young Hogwartians... GIMME DA MONEY!

William blinked as he nearly stumbled into the currency exchange store, the money burning a hole in his pocket. Looking around he had no idea where to go, so he stood in a line and waited, not knowing what to do. When it was his turn he walked up and smiled as he held the money out, "I need this one hundred galleons exchanged for Muggle money please." He said politely as he grinned.

Nia looked at the money in her hand. One hundred galleons. And she'd counted and checked it just to be sure. And according to the final, she had to get it changed for US dollars. She'd never been to America, but had seen enough American television programmes to know it was a decimal system just like the English muggles, but with dollars and cents as opposed to pounds and pence. Sounded simple enough. After that, who knew? It all seemed a bit mysterious really.

Approaching the people that seemed to be doing the exchanging, Nia looked for an exchange rate. She couldn't see one, and was sure exchange rates changed so what they used before wouldn't be right. She'd have to trust that they would get it right. On the plus side, there was no sign about taking commission (at least she thought that was was the cut the banks took was called), so she wouldn't have to worry about that.

"Hi," she said softly, to a money-exchanger that was free. "I'd like this changed to US dollars please." She counted what she had onto the counter. "100 galleons." She flicked her blonde hair back. "I'm assuming there's no commission charged?" she asked. She knew it was best to check -some places charged horrendous commission for foreign currency, and it could be worth an extra mark...

Ross decided that he wanted to stick to jumping at people to get to them first. So jumping over to the first year he took his 100 galleons and took $500 from a neat pile that had been made and handed them over to him. "Here you go, $500" He said happy with himself

Handing Jake the 100 galleons, Liz smiles, and waits.

Frowning, Jake stared over at Ross. "C'mon, we should be doing this as a team," he pointed out. "This is people's grades we're talking about..."

Geez, there's plenty of people he could exchange for, Jake thought slightly bitterly.

Haha, a second year, time to pounce like the lion he wasn't. "Hey," he grinned. "Nope, we just exchange it," he explained, pulling out a $500 dollar bundle and handing it over, taking in the wizarding currency. "Five hundred dollars there... Use it well, good luck!"

Smiling, Jake passed the five hundred dollars to the girl and nodded as he took the galleons in. "Five hundred American dollars," he explained, looking back up. "Good luck."

William smiled taking the money and putting it into his robe pocket. "Thanks so much." he said grinning as he turned and got out of the way for the next person, curious as to what he would be doing.

"Awesome," Nia said with a smile as the boy replied to her question. Taking the dollars, she quickly flicked through and counted to check. You couldn't be too careful, especially in a final. She wanted to do well, and it was all the little details that counted, she was sure. Certain all five hundred dollar there, Nia nodded.

"Many thanks," she said to the guy, "I hope I do." She safely tucked the money away in her bag. She didn't want loose any. That would be a total failure. "Have a good time changing money!" And with that, she headed for her next stop - she needed to get to America!

Rian smiled and nodded to the boy. "Yep, it's Rian," she answered cheerfully. She reached into the pocket of her robes and got out the money Dumont had given her.

"Here ya go," she murmured, handing the coins to Jake.

Okay, now this was scary.

Caleb Markus Newell and Anna Bella Greingoth knew many things, but acting all "adult-ish" was not one of them. Judging by the way they acted at school, you'd think they'd be your top-of-the-line wiz kids no matter what they set their mind to. You'd think they'd be able to take a simple trip across the world and land themselves in America without an inkling of a problem.

Not so.

As it was, Anna stood outside some Currency Exchange Store busying herself with her chipped nail polish while she waited on Cale to make a decision on what to do. "Caleb," she said, finally speaking up after having been silent for quite some time. "I...think...this is where we begin. I mean, without a currency exchange, we really can't do anything American-ish, right? We each have 100 galleons, so we'll just put all of it together and then just...go to America. It can't be that hard..."

Cale walked up behind Anna, pulling out his coin bag as he went, pouring out some of the galleons. Psssh, he had no idea what to do! This was more than just a final--this was a test to see if they could actually survive outside of school.

FAIL. He could feel it already.

"Right, yeah, it can't be too bad," he said with a small chuckle. "We just go up to the counter, say 'I need this changed to American money' and we're on our way, yes?" he asked. "That seems simple enough." He dropped the coins back into his bag and walked forward. "Come on, follow me--I'm the MAN here, I'll figure out where to go!" he assured her with a grin.

As he walked forward, however, he was walking a bit TOO fast and not paying attention to where he was going, and he felt his feet start to slip from underneath him--the front of his shoe skid across the floor with a loud SQUEAK! and all he saw was a shimmer of gold in the air as the bag flew out of his hand. It opened slightly, letting out one, two...12 galleons which went rolling every direction.

"ANNA GRAB THEM!" he cried, jumping up quickly and stepping on three that were nearby, causing them to fall flat in their tracks. He dropped them in his bag and looked around in panic, hoping she'd be able to locate them all...

ZOMG THERE WAS ANOTHER ONE! He jumped forward and grabbed another one of the escaped coins--four down, eight to go!

"Here ya go," Jake smiled, tossing over a bundle of ten dollar notes to Rian, and took the galleons to give back to Dumont. "Five hundred there... Use it well... Good luck!" he added, a grin on his face.

A slight commotion caught Jake's attention nearby, and he looked up.

"AHAHAHAHAAA!!!!!"

"Right...not too bad," Anna agreed, although she wasn't exactly sure she believed what she and Cale were saying. First of all, neither Cale nor Anna had every really done anything this big without the help of their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Greingoth and...well, Mrs. Newell...had always been right beside Cale and Anna to correctly and safely lead the way. Now it seemed as if the had been thrown head first into a sea of adulthood and not given a clue one to help them.

Oh, wait. They'd actually been given a few clues from Professor Dumont. They only helped slightly, though. It wasn't like either one of them knew who Dionne War...War...Warzone was. "Okay, okay. So we walk up there and just say, "Hey...erm, yo, can I get some American money? That sounds easy, but Cale, what if they're like...a convict or something? What if they only give us hlalf of what we're supposed to get? I mean, do you know how much we should get? 'Cause I hate to tell ya, Romeo, but I don't," Anna said, glancing down at her chipped nail polish again.

She eyed Cale out of the corner of her eyes. What a cutie pie he was. An arrogant cutie pie, but a cutie pie, nonetheless. ...and now he was claiming to be "THE MAN." Whatever. Rolling her eyes and shaking her head, Anna followed Cale up towards where she only hoped they needed to be. "What if we're in the wrong building? I mean, what if this is where we're supposed to buy train tickets at or something?" Anna asked. She didn't think she'd get an answer, though. "THE MAN" had apparently lost a good chunk of his money.

"CALEB!" she squealed, running forward and diving for the money. "Two hundred galleons! Two hundred! That's all we have, and then KABOOM, it's all gone. Do you think you might be able to refrain from losing any of it?" Anna scooped up the last of the eight coins and then dropped them back into Cale's bag, frowning at him as she did. "For someone who is supposedly THE MAN, you surely have a funny way of showing it..."

"Now, follow me before you get us both killed...or worse---lost."

Tobi had to bite down HARD on the side of his cheek not to laugh at Anna And Cale...

But it presented with a dilemma, Anna being a sixth year and Cale being in his seventh, oh well, Ross seemed busy, Tobi just took them both.

"Okay," said Tobi, plunking down a wad of cash in front of Anna. "If you pool your money it comes out to 1000 US dollars; 500 each."

He counted out the bills and handed them to Anna, who seemed to be in charge of their expedition.

Cale grumbled and rolled his eyes. "I'm not gonna lose them! Look, we got them all back, didn't we?" he asked with a small chuckle. They were off to a very interesting start, that was for sure.

He looked over and chuckled again. "Look Anna, it's not a convict, it's Tobi!" he told her. "You have to trust the people who run this otherwise you won't get anywhere in life," he told her, importing his wisdom upon her.

"Thanks dude," he said, taking the money before Anna could grab it and giving her her share. "That should be more than enough to get to America and get some clothes...right?" he asked her, raising an eyebrow. He had no idea how expensive clothes were in America.

Copernicus pulled out his little sack of galleons and plunked them down on the desk top in front of him. "Good day to you. I am in need of an exchange. Can you tell me the going exchange right at this fine establishment?"

Noticing that a fifth year had entered, Jake hurried over and approached him. Coperniconeycus...? Oh... Plymouth's brother... wasn't Plymouth a fifth year?

"Erm..." Jake looked down at the money and whipped the sunvisor round his head so it was facing the right way. "Yes I can..."

But I won't...

"I think I'm just supposed to... Here," he mumbled, counting out the galleons into piles of ten. "That's one hundred galleons you got there... I'm just meant to give you this..." he said, reaching for a bundle of the dollars. "Want it?" he asked... planning to reveal the amount if he agreed or not.

Bwahahahaaa... five hundred dollars... deal or no deal?

No-one outsmarts Jake Upstead, intentionally or unintentionally... Dumont had only told him how much to give out...

Slowly, Emiliano walked up to the counter with the sack of 100 galleons. It was just a lot of money to be handled by a kid, but he knew exactly...he thought, what to do with it. "Could I please, get exchanged this one hundred galleons to...American dollars?" He said, voice a little bit down.

That was not the greatest day of his life...but he had to do his final exams.

Chris walked up to the counter. He felt around in his pocket for the sack with a 100 galleons in it. He placed it down. "Can I have these 100 galleons enchanged for American money please?" He said.

But then he also saw Emiliano next to him. "Hey Em." He said to him.
