NO! His worst nightmare had come to reality! Surely CLifford wasn't saying this to him? Miles made a whisper which sounded a lot like "Noooooo." Except really quietly. He quickly turned to Vannie, hoping she wasn't agreeing. He needed anwers!

"Oh Blue!" That would have to do, he didn't care if it looked like he was sporting Ravenclaw, as long as he wasn't wearing the hideous colour that was pink. Ewwwww. "We would like blue pleeease." Miles turned back to Clifford casually.

Ruby walked into the clothing store finally and needed to get her clothes for her destination she looked around and walked up to the nearest volenteer and asked "i need some clothes that would be suitable for going to San Jose and for a concert please" she smiled and tried to stay paitent but after what had happened in the Transportaition center she was unsure she was going to.

Quite amused, Clifford watched the deciding between Vanessa and Miles. Miles CLEARLY wasn't up to wearing a pink shirt, and quite honestly Clifford didn't blame him.

Hmmm. Blue? He could probably manage that. Well, for Miles' shirt maybe, he'd just show Vanessa where the dresses were and SHE could pick. Right. "What about something like this?" He asked, holding up a smart looking shirt, "throw on a blazer over it, smart trousers and shoes and BOOM!" Looked pretty fancy. "And Vanessa, the dresses are on the rack over there," he pointed, "you probably don't want me picking out one for you.. I'm uh.. not an expert when it comes to dresses."

Ooooh, and someone else wanted help toooooo! "A lot of girls have been choosing dresses for the concert," Clifford told the Slytherin girl, pointing her in the direction he'd just pointed Vanessa.

"Yes...Blue would be better," Vanessa nodded, smiling at Miles. Although she would like to wear a pink dress, she wasn't going to put him through having to wear pink.
"Ooh...Thats pretty," Vanessa nodded as Clifford showed them a shirt. It would suit Miles very nicely. "Do you like it Miles?" She asked as she absentmindely began to look at the dresses on the rack that Clifford had pointed out to her.

"Ooh...This is pretty isn't it?" She pulled a dress, off the rack and showed Miles. And it kind of matched Miles' shirt

Lyra walked into the store as she was in a hurry, but so was everyone else. She looked through the clothing and decided to have someone help her. "I want something like....this but minus the dog," she giggled as it was PINK PINK PINK! "I'm going to a concert in San Jose, thought it would be appropriate."

"Oooooooh!" Miles beamed as Clifford handed over a nice shirt wich WASN'T pink, so that made it nice. "I like it." He said, putting it against him, even if he did look like he was enjoying clothes shopping. He didn't usually. "Cheers! How much is it?" Miles had totally forgot about buying the shirt. Haha!

Miles stared at the dress that Vannie held up, and grinned at it. "Woooah. Thazz really nice." He touched the dress to feel the dress, it was nice and soft too! "You should definitely get that one." He nodded, and looked back at his shirt and her dress. Pwetty.

Ruby smirked at the older Slytherin boy and replied "yeah but i don't want a dress i want something a bit more......................" she put her finger to her chin and thought "Rock" with a glint in her eyes she looked at him and said "something like this?" she asked getting out a piece of paper and handing it to him.

Well, they'd liked the shirt he'd picked out for Miles! That was definately a good sign.. perhaps he wasn't so bad at this after all. "Yeah, I think it'll look good with the dress," he commented with a nod, like he knew all about fashion. SNORT! "And the shirt'll be thirty dollars," he said, checking out the price list Professor Dumont had left them, "and the dress, Vanessa.. that'll be sixty dollars." WOOO! Grinning, Clifford turned and checked out how many more customers were waiting.. he had to pik out his OWN outfit soon! EEEK!

Pink!? EWW! Where was Paris when you needed her? Wrinkling his nose at the girl's request, Clifford peered around in search of Paris the fashion goddess.

... nope couldn't see her. Great.

"Well, what do you think of this?" He asked innocently, picking out the shirt merely for the colour. "I mean.. it's pink."

"Ah, I see," Clifford mumbled, eyeing the picture Ruby showed him and rubbing the back of his neck nervously. Oh dear. Erm. "Well then, I think a pair of these would be pretty cool," he suggested, showing her some boots. "And we've got skirts and girls shirts right over there," he told her pointing her in the right direction.

Ruby looked at the boots and grinned "the boots are cool but have you any in black i wanna stay as near to the picture as possible" she couldn't help but stiffle a laugh at Cliffords nerves who wouldn't be especally the girls and this wasn't the usual get-up she would be seen in but she was one of the ones who wanted what she wanted.
"do you have any black tights like the picture? i think muggles call them fishnets??????" she said with a slight smirk

"Black? Yeah, I think we have them in black," Clifford nodded, pulling out a pair and showing them to her, "These okay?" Gah, he hoped so. He was rubbish at this.

Fishnets?

What on EARTH? Why would people wear tights that were made to catch fish? How.. weird! And kinda gross too. Ew. "Hmmm. These.. things?" He asked, wrinkling his nose and holding up a pair of the fish things like they were contaminated.

Ruby smiled and squeeled "EEEEEEEEEEEE they are perfect," she clapped her hands and picked them up and then looked at the picture and said "i need a top and a skirt like this picture" she flashed a cheeky grin at the older Slytherin and smiled she was so excited she wanted to get her clothes and go..................

Well, things were going okay so far. Slow.. but okay. She'd liked what he'd picked out for her at least! The picture was helping, and he glanced at it again before picking out a skirt. Hmmm. "What do you think of this?" He tried, holding it up for her to see and chewing at his lower lip. "And for on top ... this?"

"Soft isn't it?" Vannie asked, as she admired the dress. It was really pretty. They were going to look really awesome. "I think I will..." Vannie nodded, smiling at him. She just hoped that it wouldn't cost that much. "Is this all we need?" She asked, they surely didn't need shoes or anything. They already had them!

Vannie grinned at Clifford, like he knew what he was talking about. "Ermm...Sure?" She smiled though, he was trying his best, it must be hard for him, having to sell all these clothes. But why was he calling her Vanessa? Even Miles didn't call her Vanessa. "Oooh...60 dollars" She nodded, it wasn't that much. Yey. "Lemme find it," She held the dress over her arm, as she counted out three 20 dollar notes, and handed them to Clifford. "Thanks Clifford," She added with a smile.

Ruby smiled "perfect" she grinned "i think thats all i need don't you?" she thought for a moment and wondered

30? Was that it? Really? BARGAIN! Miles smiled at how quite cheap it was, and dug down in his pockets to find the $500. He counted out the appropriate money and gave the shineh green stuff to Clifford. "Thankyouuuuuuu!" He said, he'd put it on later.

"Yeeeey!" They'd finally got their clothes. "Where to next?" Miles liked arms with Vannie and looked over at her dress again. "Aww. It's so pretty." He said randomly. It would be fun when they arrived at their destination all colour coded and classy. Hehe.

"Hmm...." Vanessa thought, as she linked arms with him. "The transportation thingy ma bob I think," She nodded, as she thought about it. They needed transport to get to their destination. "Glad it's got you're approval," She grinned at him. She had to admit thought. It was a nice dress.

"Thanks, guys," Clifford smiled, taking the dollars from his friends. EEEE!! They were happy! He'd actually managed to do a good job! "And you're welcome, have fuuuuun!" He wanted all these people to hurry up and find their clothes so he could go tooooo!

"I reckon that's just about it," Clifford nodded at Ruby. Skirt, top, shoes and fish things. Yup, yup! "And if that's it.. then that'll be a hundred dollars, please!"

Ruby reached into her pocket and got her American money out and handed over $100 to Clifford and smiled "thanks now i can go to San Jose" she chuckled as she left she counted her money and mumbled to herself i only have $175 left EEP she hurried to get to her destination and shouted over her shoulder "Thanks Clifford"

Lyra turned her head back around and GASPED! "CLIFFORD!" She couldn't believe the nerve of making her look like...like...THAT! "I want something cute not tacky! I have to keep up a fashion style here!" Anything please!

Uh oh. Lyra didn't look at all happy about his suggestion. Something cute and not tacky!? That was a bit uncalled for, wasn't it? Hmpf! "Well, I actually happen to think it might suit you!" Clifford tried again, holding the pink grannified top infront of her, ".. just your style!"

"Clifford," Lyra whined while shaking her head. "That is not me and I will NOT wear that grannified top. It may be PINK but it is just....old!" Okay! Maybe she was a tad harsh on the Slytherin but she had a flight to catch and he was being too much like her uncle, Fabian! That was just something he would do to her.

"Please! Don't you have anything...cute? Everyone seems to be leaving here with an outfit they like..." she paused and inhaled deeply for a nice, juicy sigh of giving up. "...even if it's not PINK."

Clifford hung the ... not so nice pink top back on the rack. Lyra clearly wasn't pleased with he picked out for her. Bleh. She was just fussy.. that was the problem.

... not that he'd tell her that though. She was kinda scary.

Okay, so he just had to try again. "What about this one then?" The sixth year eyed the second outfit revealed and simply sighed. "Y'know what? I think maybe it's best if you just ... look around and choose yourself. I don't think I've got the 'eye'." Clearly.

As Clifford held up the next outfit, that was IT! The boy was clearly in the wrong place. Couldn't he tell that she needed something with SPUNK? Her face was motionless as she eyed Clifford and NOT the outfit. "I think I'll do that," she began but then thought about her words and added, "FIND an outfit for myself."

She went around the shop as they had to have something like she wanted. If the muggle princess could wear it, so could she! "Ah HA!" The boy was just in the wrong section! She found exactly what she was looking for, tried the clothing on and kept it on.

"Here are the tags, and I will pay for it all now...as I wear them out of the shop." She was not going to stop and change anywhere, she was running out of time.

When she went off to look for an outfit herself, Clifford pulled a face at Lyra's back. GRRR. Girl's were such pains in the butt sometimes! Meh, meh, meh.. yada, yada, yada.. that's what they were.

He quickly rearranged his expression when she returned to the counter. "I personally liked that second outfit I picked out," he commented casually, taking the price tags from her after taking in her new clothes. "But that'll be ninety dollars, please!"

Lyra could not believe this boy was for real! She didn't know him and he OBVIOUSLY thought he knew her taste. "Yes I liked it too," she began as she pulled the money from her pocket and laid it up on the counter. "But I'm afraid that my grandmother has plenty of clothing and..." she paused that DRAMATIC pause with a smirk on her face. "She's not very fond of PINK. Thank you." She grabbed a bag, stuff her other clothing inside and ran out the door to the plane.
