It was the first Hgsmeade weekend of the term and Profess... Headmaster Bontecou decided he wanted to head down to the village for a bit of a break from all the ghosts and stresses of headmastership.

Truebridge walked up next to the headmaster quietly, sunglasses on and expression bland.

"No ghosts here. And... hmmm. I smell butterbeer."

Trey walked down Main Street hoping to catch someone he knew. He was one of the first to arrive, so this was very unlikely. While meandering down the street daydreaming as usual, he caught glimpse of someone just ahead. Trey jogged to catch up, noting that they were not student robes as he got near. Oh my, it was the Headmaster. Not wanting to be rude after running up beside him, Trey turned to him.

"Hello Headmaster, I don't think we've met, which is probably a good thing, but I'm Trey, Trey Kingston. How's your term been going so far sir?" He asked, actually pretty interested in his answer, considering all the goings on in the school with the ghost and all.

Freya walked along the main street of Hogsmeade. It had been ages since her last visit and fortunately the weather was nice and cool. She glanced around at the shops in the area, secretly wishing that she was able to go inside a few restricted ones...but that was life. And Freya couldn't always do whatever she wanted, she had to get used to it...for now anyway. She pulled her long, fitted jacket closer to her face, as her skin was becoming raw, and continued her trek to wherever she wanted to visit first.

Via strolled the Hogsmeade street alone. October, already, she thought. The time passed so fast. And she would have to write a letter to her sister and her muggle parents again. The street of hogsmeade wasn't yet crowdy. She'd love to hang out with her friends in here... she just sighed. She would just hang around for a little time for she's alone and head back again to the castle to do some homeworks.

Elizabeth walked slowly down the street into Hogsmeade, her royal blue sweater and jeans set off by a pair of heeled boots that her cousin had given her for her birthday. She knew if Ludo saw her, he'd probably bug her about not being in uniform again, but it was a Hogsmeade weekend. And she still figured she was wearing blue, so she wasn't completely ignoring her house and everything. And her shoes gave her at least another couple of inches in height, so she felt like she wasn't quite so short. She could pretend she was of average height.

Glancing around at the few people out in the street, she shrugged slightly as she realized none of them were people she had met before. But she also didn't feel the urge to approach anyone. So she kept wandering, not really feeling like going into any of the shops by herself.

Via spotted a girl dressed in blue. A ravenclaw probably, she thought. She had seen her around yet she still don't know her name. Will she approach her.. or not? Via stood there for a moment.

And as soon as she had decided she started walking towards the direction of the girl. She's a higher student. "Hello," Via greeted. "Lovely day...She just hoped the girl won't get mad at her... Via just couldn't help it... she really wanted to have more friends.

She pocketed her hands as she looked around. Probably she would have to run because of embarassment.

Elizabeth stopped in her wandering as she ehard someone speak to her, turning to see a girl who looked a few years younger than her. Smiling, she said, "Hi. And yes, it is a beautiful day. Cool, but not as cold as it could be." She was still a little spoiled by California weather, even though she'd now spent two terms at Hogwarts, and so gone through at least one winter over here. She still got cold fairly easily, and it was bearable right now.

Smiling again, trying to reassure the girl, who looked a little embarassed, she added, "I'm Elizabeth Andrews. Um, nice to meet you . . ." She trailed off, waiting to see if she'd get a name from the girl.

Kayla walked slowly up the street of Hogsmeade with every intention of going to the pub for a nice warm drink. She spotted Elizabeth, just up ahead talking to a younger student and she raised her hand to wave at the older girl and then decided that she might go an speak to her instead.

She was curious to know why the girl always seemed unsettled around her? Okay there was the whole Mari, thing but Kayla never had any problems with Elizabeth. Oh well only one way to find out. She made her way over to her and making sure that she was wearing a smile on her face, she stood beside her. "Hello Elizabeth. Um...how are you?"

Elizabeth turned from the other girl, who still hadn't spoken, as she heard Kayla address her, kind of awkwardly. That was interesting. But then, they hadn't technically spoken since that incident in Diagon Alley with Robert, since they hadn't really talked when they had seen each other in the HoM gallery. "Hi Kayla," she said with a grin. "I'm really good. Term's been kind of interesting so far, don't you think?" She wasn't exactly sure how to start a conversation in this case. Not that she started conversations most of the time.

"Oh well that's good to hear" Kayla replied and then shrugged at Elizabeth's comment about how interesting the term has been. "I guess it has but I think I really suck as a Prefect" she admitted and then bit her lip, surprised that she had confessed something to a stranger.

She decided it might be best to change the subject but she had no idea on what to talk about. This was Mari's, friend that she was standing here trying to talk to and although she and Mari had decided to put their differences behind them...it was still rather awkward.

"So are you meeting someone or are you just shopping on your own?" Yes it was rather lame but it was something at least.

The first weekend in Hogsmeade, finally! Jessica hadn't been there since the beginning of the summer, so it felt good to see it again. However, the girl didn't know what to do first.
Therefore, she just walked along the main road, trying to decide what shop to enter.

Elizabeth smiled as Kayla spoke, still thinking about how weird this was. "Why do you say you suck as a prefect? I mean, you're talking to the girl who abandoned being one after one term. So if anyone should think they sucked, it should be me."

She stood awkwardly, slipping her hands into her jeans pockets while the silence stretched on, wondering what was going through the Huffie's head. And then Kayla spoke again, and Elizabeth's green eyes went back to the other girl's face in surprise. "No. At least, I wasn't planning on meeting anyone. I don't exactly know if anyone I know planned on coming to Hogsmeade this weekend anyway." She had hoped they would, but she hadn't been about to ask any of them. So she'd ventured off on her own, not even really planning on doing anything once she had gotten here. It really was kind of strange, if she thought about it.

Cadence and Set walked down the path to Hogsmeade holding hands. Cadence had been here once before with her mum. As the shops became visible, she smiled a little. She was very excited to visit all the shops she hadn't had time to visit the last time she was here, particularly Honeydukes. How about we go to the Three Broomsticks first and get a drink? she asked Set.

Mariska walked down the main street of Hogsmeade, again hand in hand with Cayden. That by itself put a smile on her face. " So where do you think we should go today?" She asked, turning to regard him for a moment as they walked together. She looked ahead again, shivering lightly as a slight gust of wind blew up. " It's still a bit cool here, I notice. Some things never change," She said, pulling the sleeve of her dark green lightweight sweater over her hand.

Where should they go...question of the hour.Not to any clothing store that was for sure. "its not really that cold. Go to Antarctica." he gave her a smile as he removed his jacket and put it around her. He grabbed her hand again as they were both still deciding where to go."You want to get a few snacks and then get something to eat? I need some sweet for my homework. Unless their is some place you would like to go first."

Mari playfully rolled her eyes as Cayden teased her. " I don't really want to. I'd get so bored, being alone all the time." She said, looking up at him as he put his jacket around her. She smiled to herself, the smile widening as Cayden took her hand again. " We can go get a few snacks. I'm fine as it is right now." She said, moving a bit closer to him as they walked.

"Because I seem to be upsetting a lot of people" she shrugged but that's usually what she did anyway regardless of whether she wore a badge or not.

"Oh I see" Kayla replied really not knowing what else to say to Elizabeth, she couldn't understand why she felt so awkward around the girl. Sighing deeply she turned and looked up the street to who else was around.

Her mouth fell open when she spotted none other than Cayden Blood and was that Mari? OMG...yes it was and they were holding hands. Were Mari and Kayla forever going to have the same interest in guys? Not that she was into Cayden that way but he was her friend and guy she really quite enjoyed flirting with. Oh Merlin and they were headed this way and she had nowhere to escape to.

"Alone? what are you talking about? Their is polar bears, penguins of many varies, seals, fish, dolphins with horns, their is plenty to keep you busy. Let alone the northern lights." he stopped for a second as he then asked, " Or would it be the southern lights?" he wasnt quite sure. More like the south pole. It depended on how you looked at it."that would be an awesome show." he smiled a little as she came towards him and decided that candy shop was good."This way then." he said as he leaned over and kissed her head.

Cayden was walking with mari as he turned his head to look at the other shops when he caught a certain prefect. He was sure she was putting daggers and lighting storms over his head for this. He knew what she thought of Mari. He enjoyed kayla's company. he stopped walking for a second as he stared in her direction. should he go over there or act like he never saw her. well it was obvious he saw her, but he could save the conversation for another time. He couldnt quite decide. he let out a small sigh as he was still thinking about this. if a few of her other friends could do what they liked he shouldnt get mauled over very much for this.

"Erm... ok. Didn't we see that tree a second ago," Jake asked, wandering towards the village. "Oh yeeeeeaaahhh... that was when it was further away. My b- Cameron?" Jake looked around. "Cameron?" this was a tad louder, as Jake was feeling a tad unnerved. Raising his voice as loud as he could, Jake shouted back up the way he'd just come.

"Cameron!!!!!"

Sigh... As he waited for the oh-so-slightly older boy to show up, Jake shoved his hands into his pockets and inched a little further onwards. And then he saw the village.

"Ooh... niiiiiice..."

It was just a visit and he was NOT expecting to come back to this place ever again until maybe his 3rd or 4th year because there were so many older students. Younger people and tons of older people didn't go well, he barely knew any of them! So it was only this one time that he was visiting, that he eyed Jake and ran up to him and gave a thumbs up just to signal to him that he really was there. Freaky but it was his nature to do freaky stuff, since he was an insane boy with weird poking abilities! "Yes, I am here Jake-a-tron!" Oh, that was his new nickname. It sounded so cool and awesome, he should be happy for it.

"Where to first Jake-a-tron?"

Mariska looked ahead for a moment as Cayden spoke to her and her gaze settled on none other than Kayla Winters. Seriously, could she go one day without seeing the Hufflepuff Prefect? And today, of all days, she thought with a slight sigh. She took a deep breath as they came closer, and she gave Kayla a slightly awkward smile as she got closer still.
Mari smiled as Cayden explained all the lovely things one could do in Antarctica, her smile only getting bigger as he kissed the top of her head. " So...we're still getting candies, right?" she said as he stopped and sighed, but she figured this moment was already gone for the time being.

Jake turned slooooooowly away from the village and looked at Cameron. Just looked at him.

"What," he said, trying not to grit his teeth. "did you just call me?"

Jake eyed Cameron, looking right at him, obviously. Unless you could eye someone without looking at them. Hmmm... that was a project Jake had to attempt at some point. But nuuuuu!!!!! Focus.

"I have my... ideas..." Jake grinned, mischieviously. He had heard of the sweetshop around this place, and he could not WAIT to get in there. Sugar. Sugarsugarsugarsugarsugar. Mmmmmmm-mmm.

Jake had never had all that much sugar in his life, but the little he occasionally had turned him absolutely wacko. He knew Cameron was a sugar fiend too.

How did he know?

Erm... look at the guy!

Kayla watched as they got closer to her and she could see Cayden hesitate for a moment when he spotted her. Although she had absolutely no claims on Cayden whatsoever it still irked her that he was with Mari.

She returned Mari's awkward smile with one of her own and her eyes shifted to the left and right trying to find some excuse to leave but just her luck there was no-one around.

Now that they were almost upon her she could not ignore them any longer. "Hey there Cayden" she said giving him a small smile. "Hello Mari" she said a little awkwardly trying to keep her composure.
