Ana walked into the nursery feeling nostalgic. The term was almost over and she would have to wait 3 months to be back.

She moved to Padfoot's cage and took him out.

"How's the cutest thing in tha world?" she said hugging him till the point he meowed.

"Today is probably my last visit but the good thing is that you will came with me!" she started "I just need... to... find the parchment to sign."

"Come!" and Padfoot followed her while she searched for the parchment. Ana walked to a table that was there and fount it, she took one and returned to the cage with Padfoot always behind.

"So... I bla bla bla...Padfoot, bla bla bla.... will come with me bla bla bla. Done! You are almost officially adopted" she smiled and he meowed again. Ana put the parchment in the bag so she didn't lose it.

"Now let's playyy !!" and they played for a couple of hours.

After that Ana sat down by the window and Padfoot jumped to her lap. Both stayed there for another two hours. Ana looking through the window and petting him and Padfoot sleeping.

Then she remembered.
"Oh! I almost forgot!" she said waking up Padfoot, which left her lap with the shock. "I made you a drawing!" Ana ran to the cage, grabbed her bad and took out a parchment.

"Do you like it?" she asked him showing the drawing.



He meowed and Ana hugged him again.

"Well now I'm going to take care of your food and stuff and you can go play while i do it, k? Yeah you're a beautiful good boy!" in 30 min Ana had finished filling the dishes and cleaning the cage.

"I got to go but we will see again in the Hogwarts Express" she smiled "And you will meet Hedwig!" Ana petted him in the head "Bye. Love youuuuu !!" and she left the nursery towards the castle.

"Thank you, Professor. That sounds perfect," Copernicus offered her a shy grin before turning back to Tiberius. "I'm going to get Tiberius cleaned up and back in his stall, but I really appreciate all you did today."

He led the Abraxan back into the nursery and into his stall. Tiberius needed a quick curry and a refill of water and mash, but other than that the little Abraxan just needed to rest after his flight. Cope slipped out and back to the school.

She guessed Chanel was getting a bit lonely cooped up on her cage all day long. She would take her outside and let her roam for a bit. She walked into the nursery and over to her cage. "Hello poppit," she cooed. The Imp jumped into her hand and scampered up her arm and sat on her shoulder. Paris giggled and squirmed. "That tickles." she giggled. She walked outside to the little pen that allowed the students with bigger animals to play with them. She sat down on the bench and Chanel climbed up into her hair and plopped down. Her hair was going to be sticky. Oh great, she thought.

She let Chanel eat and just bask in the sun for almost an hour, she felt like her arms had baked. She looked down and saw that she had indeed tanned a bit. "Ok Chanel time to go." The Imp climbed down and back onto Paris' shoulder as she walked back into the hut. She patted her head as she scampered back into her cage. She added some crickets and ants to her food bowl along with some fresh water. "See you later," She told her before she closed up her cage and walked back up the castle.

Aaaaaaaah!! Evangeline was pratically out of breath when she got to the nursery. Being sick sucked big time - especially since Clifford wouldn't let her out of the common room. Now she was sure Greenie didnt even remember her!! Boohoo.

"Greenie, love?!" Evangeline softly cooed, approaching the cage very slowly and eyeing the Clabbert's pustule. She didnt want him to be scared, after all. But thankfully, Greenie simply bounced at the sight of her and his pustule didn't go scary flashy red. Phew. "I miiissed you! I'm so sorry I was away .. but I was ill. Too much rain, y'know.." She informed her pet as she opened the cage and allowed Greenie to bounce into her arms. Weeeeeeeee!!

Wow. Talk about getting heavier!!

"You're a big boy now, love! No more beetles for you." Hehehehe. Almost as if he had understood, Greenie seemed to let out a sound resembling a whimper and Evangeline chuckled once more, sitting on a nearby bench and taking a bag away from her pocket. Collecting beetles was gross, but Greenie loooooved them soo ... Evangeline had to do it. "Kidding, kidding. Here we go. Yummy beetles for my big boy.." Hehe.

After all the beetles were eaten, the Slytherin Prefect returned her Clabbert to his cage, promising she'd get back sooner than he was expecting. She couldnt let him starve, after all! He needed his beetles. Yup, yup.

Almost an entire school year had passed, and Anna had managed to visit Blaze just about every day. She couldn't believe how much he'd grown since she started visiting with him way back in September. Blaze had transformed into a beautiful, fully-grown Phoenix in the course of one year, and Anna knew what that meant for both herself and the bird. The first thing Anna knew was that Blaze would soon lose the body he'd so quickly grown into. His Burning Day was approaching, and Anna only hoped she'd still be at school when it happened. In a way, Blaze burning into nothing more than a pile of ashes scared her, but she'd made sure to tell herself over and over again that the situation was only temporary. As soon as Blaze fell into the ashes, he'd rise again with a brand new body. The second thing Anna knew was that as the Burning Day got closer and closer, Blaze would begin to lose all his beautiful, richly-colored feathers. He wouldn't be as pretty as he was now, but Anna would still love him all the same. She'd make sure Blaze knew that she still thought he was the most beautiful creature in the entire world!

"Blaazzzeeee! Guess who's here for a visit?!?!" she called out, popping out from behind a corner and flashing a smile towards the bird. Anna took her usual seat on the ground next to the cage and pulled out the food and treats she usually brought along. However, this time, Anna also pulled out an extra water bottle, some shampoo, and a tiny, black comb. "You, my dear Blaze, are getting a human-type bath today!" Anna frowned at her bird as it squawked in protest. She didn't think he could understand her, but he probably knew that something unusual would soon happen. "Okay, I'm going to unlatch the cage, but I need to you to stay very, very still. Please? For me?" she asked, raising her hand and unlatching the cage. Anna held her breath as the bird stepped from the cage---and stayed put on the ground.

"Whoa. That was...nice of you," she said, giving him the thumbs up sign. "Onto my lap you go, but no touching me with that piping hot tail of yours..." As soon as Blaze was safetly on her lap, Anna drenched him with the water from the water bottle. Anna giggled at Blaze's expression as the water trickled down his body, sizzling as it reached his tail. Anna poured a bit of shampoo on Blaze's back and then began to lather it in. As she scrubbed, Anna told Blaze all about her day---from the meal she ate at breakfast to the difficult question she answered in class. When she was sure Blaze was nice and spiffy and clean, Anna poured more water on the bird, continuing to do so until all the soap bubbles had ran off his back. When that was done, Anna took the comb and ran it down Blaze's back a few times. "There. You're all fantabulous now," she said. "I have to go now, but I'll make you a bowl of food and treats before I leave." Anna placed Blaze back into the cage, latched the door, and then gathered all her materials. When she was done, she made Blaze a bowl of his favorite vegetables and treats. "Love you, Blaze!" Anna smiled, blew the bird a kiss, and then left the nursery for the night.

Cela's face lit up and she nodded, "Oh that would ne wonderful. The idea of riding Cassiopeia again outweighed the fact that she'd just managed to earn points. "Tomorrow?" She asked eagerly.


Cela nodded and waved after Copernicus. Before she followed, Cela intended to ask one more thing. "Professor, should I get Cassiopeia used to saddles now? Or is it better not to worry since she clearly doesn't mind being ridden bareback?" Cela let out a little squee of excitement and darted forward to give Professor Morgan a hug. "Thank you so much for this opportunity, Professor!" Cela told her and whistled to Cassiopeia who was already wanting to follow her friend into the stable.

"I'll see you later, Professor! Tomorrow, right?" Cela grinned at her and took Cassiopeia back to the stable.

Elizabeth ran down to the nursery a while after leaving the celebratory party in the common room. Yeah, they had won the Quidditch Cup, and as a member of the team, she probably should have stayed there, but she had other responsibilities, too. Besides, she knew half the team wasn't still at the party, and few people probably had even noticed her departure.

Arriving at the stone building, she slipped inside and toward the area housing the kneazles. Once she turned the corner, she saw Macavity sitting on the floor, his cage door hanging open as he sat there looking at her curiously. "I know, I know. You're a little esape artist," she said to the kneazle with a grin. "We won our Quidditch match, so we kept the Cup in Ravenclaw," she informed him, even though she knew he could care less. She was still excited.

Moving nearer, she crouched down and scratched his head for a few seconds before standing up. "Okay, you can wander for a while and I'll check on your food and water," she said then. "And no stalking the other creatures." She knew the odds of Macavity listening were slim to none, but at least she gave the warning out.

As he wandered off, she approached the cage, keeping an eye on the gingery fur of the kneazle as she took the food and water bowls out. First things first, the cage could use a bit of cleaning. So she took the blanket and everything else out, got some water and cleaned the bottom of the cage. Then she shook the dust and everything out of the blanket, arranging it inside the cage again before turning to finally refill his food and water.

It was vaguely entertaining how Macavity didn't seem to want to go outside again, and she had the sneaking suspicion the Abraxans still scared him. But it helped her out immensely since he stayed reasonably close to her, at least her line of sight. So after refilling the food and water bowls, she replaced them in the corner of the cage and then went over to scoop him up. Bringing him back to the cage, she lightly placed him inside, then measured him for her journal. "Okay. I guess I should head back to the castle. But I'll be back soon," she said quietly, leaning her head close to the creature. She really was getting fond of him, even though he was a little troublemaker. Lightly kissing the top of his furry little head, she then stood back up to latch the door. "Stay close," she said with a smile. She knew better than to tell him to stay out of trouble. Then she turned and left, not quite sure what she wanted to do next.

Just as she had expected, as soon as the sixth year had found some free time, she had made her way into the Nursery. Greenie was now in a critical phase of his growing process and needed lots and lots of beetles. Beetles and other goodies, like the coconut treats Evangeline had bought for herself but that Greenie had someone found in her pocket. Hmmm. At least Evangeline wasn't the selfish type - at least not when it came to people ... things ... eh, she liked.

"You're just very greedy, aint you?" Evangeline giggled as she scratched the spot behind Greenie's ear, looking at the grinning animal. Awww. She loved the fact he was always grinning. He was always happy. YAY! Hehe. It made her happy. Yup, yup. Suddenly, Greenie leaped off her lap and landed gracefully on the floor. Hmm. Evangeline wished she had his limbs .. then she'd never ever ever trip again!

As Greenie walked about the nursery, messing about with the other clabberts (Evangeline wondered if he had a girlfriend), the Slytherin Prefect let her Clabbert know about the homework that was piling up, the Quidditch fiasco, even the Ministry elections! It was good to be informed of everything, right?

After she saw the time - and realised she was late for her next class - Evangeline stood up and cooed Greenie back to his cage. "Come on now, baby. You know I can't let you outside! You might get hurt.." And Evangeline certainly didn't want that. She nuzzled his green's nose before closing the door to the cage. Sniffle. "I'll be back soo sooon you won't even notice Im gone, okay?" And with that - making sure to leave all the beetles and coconut treats she had - Evangeline left the nursery. Poor Greenie.

Iliana hugged Cela close to her and said, "Aww Cela honey, it was my pleasure." before releasing her. "As for saddles..." She looked over at Cassiopeia, standing so straight and tall and looking very strong. "Well the primary consideration when deciding the best age to break an abraxan is bone development. Starting them under a saddle before their bones have fused properly can cause injury. But after seeing the way she handled herself here today, I think we could start her out with a special lightweight saddle that would be perfect for her size. I will bring them with me tonight when I come back to trim their hooves."

"Tomorrow." She nodded, walking backwards to the fence. Iliana threw on her robes, pausing to enjoy the lovely spring weather a moment longer before heading back to her office. The sun was just too wonderful not to notice.

Bath; check. Food; check. Water; checked and double checked! Soooo; what fun would he get up to with his babeh clabbert today then?!

Hugo Woods stood, hands on hips and rubber gloves on hands, in front of his pet's cage. There was a soft smile on his lips, his face radiating the affection that he felt for the (now rather large) creature. She was just too adorable. "Geoooooorgie?" He cooed happily, crouching down to let her out. He blinked once and then twice as she did not stir. "Gee?" His tone was urgent now; she always came when she was called! AHHH!

Getting down onto hands and knees and reaching into the cage, Hugo retrieved his limp clabbert. She peeked up at him with red eyes and croaked. "Nawww, Georgie baby!" He mumured quietly, stroking her forehead which was hot. "You've got a temperature! Awww, are you ill baby? No worries. Hugie will look after youuu." Settling her down in the soft hay, he reached into his backpack and pulled out a flask of warm milk and honey. He quickly ran over to the shelves and rumaged around, before finding the correct medicine that would make her better.

Returning to Georgie, Hugo mixed the medicine with the scrummy drink and placed it in a bowl. The clabbert lifted her head and lapped it up quickly. In mere minutes, she looked a tad better. "Get some rest," he said softly, petting her gently. "I'll check on you soon, I promise."

Maddox excitedly pushed the door open and tossed his bag on the ground. He was so happy. He had to tell Serefina the good news. He opened her cage and let her fly to his shoulder, like every other day, and grinned. "Professor Morgan handed out adoptions slips today. You will be mine at the end of term, and you will come home with me." She coo'ed a happy melody and nuzzled the top of his head.

He had a lot of time today, and thought he would take her outside so he could really see her shine in the light. But first...he needed to get her fed. He walked over to the bag of feed and sat down, while she fluttered to his knee. He silently fed her one leaf at a time until she was full.


"Lets go outside for a bit I want to see you in the sunlight." He placed his hand out and waited until she cluched on with her talons. Once she was securly in place, he stood up and walked towards the door. "I trust you, Serefina, to not fly until I tell you. I know you wont but, just remember to wait, please." He scratched at her neck, and she coo'ed gently in agreement.

He opened the door and walked out into a patch of the field out by the nursery. Maddox smiled. Once he was ready he let go of her talons and whispered, "Fly my love. But do come back swiftly."

Maddox watched as the beautiful phoenix glimmered in the sun. She was definatly something everyone needed to see. He watched as she burst into flames, disappeared, and reappeared, flying over a mile away. It was the most amazing thing he had ever seen.

About 20 minutes later, she disappeared in flames again, and the next thing he new she was just above him. He smiled as she slowly fluttered down to him, and her warm feet landed on his shoulder. "You are the most beautiful thing in the world." He scratched her neck and walked back into the nursery.

It was time for him to go. He placed her back into the cage and said, "When you are officially mine, you wont be so cooped up all the time. See you soon my love." He walked to the door, grabbed his bag and left, excited for the future.

"Haaaaiiii, Seven!" she greeted the Crup as soon as he was on her hands, the golden ribbon still attached to his neck. He was a good boy for not taking it off. So, he liked Hufflepuff, then.

Now, where was his water? He seemed to have drink it all, but no problem, nothing an 'aguamenti' spell wouldn't take care of.

Alright. That was done. She checked on her list, and he already knew how to sit, he knew that he had to stay in place whenever she commanded him to do so...Yes! Roll over! This wasn't going to be easy...maybe, maybe if she taught him the 'Play dead' thing, then he'll catch up the Roll over way easier.

"Do you remember the Stay thing?" she asked, at which point the creature sort of barked and she took it as a yes. "Now, I want you to lay on the ground..." and she push him softly towards the ground, "...and stay like that for a few moments, without moving the tails, alright?" it was a long shot, but she still explained the things verbally, maybe he did understand that way.

Right. Many failed attempts, but she managed to have the crup laying on the ground, which was good. "That 'Roll over' thing is going to be far more troublesome" she said, speaking to herself. "See? You can lay down...why don't you 'Stay' like that for a few seconds...try that" she nodded and commanded again.

Yeah, the crup was still moving the tails, "Do NOT move" she said, her index finger pointing at Seven, and the movement of his tails stopped. Yes! It was only for a few seconds, but it was all amazing, the crup did seem dead, which was something she didn't enjoy, so, let's not try that again.

"What a good boy, you are!" she said, yet he was placed back in the cage, because she had to get going, "I'll be seeing you soon, very soon" which probably meant tomorrow. Right now she needed to discuss something with Miss Morgan.

Whistling happily, Clifford made his way to the magical creatures nursery to visit Thing. It was hard finding the time what with finals coming up, but even Clifford wasn't mean enough to simply let him starve! He'd actually come to grow quite fond of the kneazle. Eh.

"Alright there, mate?" He smiled, letting Thing out of his cage but wrinkling his nose at the smell that greeted him. "DUDE! You really need to quite the pooping!" UGH! His cage was filled with poop. Even Clifford who actually wuite liked disgusting things felt his stomach turning. Ewwww.

Rolling up his sleeves, Clifford moved to retrieve a shovel. He still hadn't mastered that cleaning spell and was paying for it now. Hmpf. "You stay here and don't poop any more, alright?" He said, making sure Thing was busy munching on some chicken before turning to the cage. Oh gosh.

It was a good day and she needed to see how much Chanel was growing. She brought a tape measure with her as she walked over to her cage. She opened it and she had to be quick to the catch the little imp before she ran into her hair again. She caught and had to tickle her before she took a swipe at her hand. She held her as the tape measure did its thing. "Just be still," She told her softly.

"There that wasn't so bad now why is?" She asked her as she made note of how tall she was and how long her ears had gotten. Chanel climbed up her arm toward her shoulder and sat down contently. Paris handed her a jelly slug and walked back over to her cage.

She let Chanel scurry back into her cage. She made sure she refilled her water bowl and added a few more insects to her food bowl. "See you later poppit," She cooed.

Still having her puffapod flower hairband tied around her head, Vanessa wandered down towards the nursery, excited to be seeing Maxxie again. Although she'd seen him only yesterday, she was missing him a little. She didn't know how she'd cope if she decided not to take him home with her during the summer.
"Haaiii sweetie," She grinned as she came up to Maxxie cage, and dropped her bag to the floor. Opening the cage, she smiled and picked up Maxxie gently, and scratched him behind the ears. "You look a little restless. Let's go and have a play." She nodded at him, whilst shutting his cage with one hand. She glanced outside, it was nice and sunny today. Yeey.
Grabbing her bag on the floor, she made her way over to the little pen that was outside, but decided not to put Maxxie in their. She wanted to play with him.

Sitting on the floor, she put Maxxie down gently, and he snugged against her leg. "Aww...cute." She smiled, looking in her bag, and finding a little ball she'd brought. "Lookie!" She giggled, rolling the ball towards him. Maxxie nudged it with his nose, pushing it back towards her. "Good boy," She smiled, giving his back a nice rub. She rolled the ball towards him a few times, before checking the time on her watch.
"oooh I has to make sure that you're cage it clean mate." She nodded, quickly picking Maxxie up before he could run away.
Walking back into the Nursery, she put him on top of her cage, whilst she quickly cleaned it, and filled up the two bowls in their.

"Here we go chuck," She smiled, placing him back inside gently, and making sure that he was comfortable. "Goodbye lovvie. I shall see you later."

This was foul. No doubt one of the grossest things Clifford had done.. EVAH! He really needed to learn hat cleaning charm. Kneazle poop was DISGUSTING! "Man, how can something so small be so bloody STINKY!?" Trying not to puke, the sixth year shovelled all the poop into a bag read to dispose of later. Maybe he'd be able to use it as fertilizer like people did with dragon poop?

He thought it was gross.. but maybe Puffy and Fluttery would think its scrummy? Gross.

"Yeah, you having fun eating over there?" Clifford huffed, shaking his head as he shot a glance toward Thing who was happily munching. "You little poop machine." Hmpf.

William wandered back to his Crup cage, looking at Ziella and frowning. She still didn't look well at all. "What's wrong girl?" He asked softly, the cage door still open from when he ran off looking for the professor but couldn't find her. He didn't know what to do; if she was sick and he couldn't heal her then what else was there. Not wanting to leave her he crawled into her cage and lifted her head onto his lap, feeling her more warm than normal.

Looking around her cage he spotted something blue, a shred of something he knew wasn't there before. Frowning he picked it up, looking at it carefully before sudden realization hit him. "Did you eat this?" He asked her, his hand on her head, petting gently. "You know you shouldn't eat anything that I don't personally give you girl." he said in a condescending voice. Pulling her water bowl close to her he took out his wand and filled it with water, "Try to drink something." he said, nudging the bowl towards her. He put his hand on her belly and sure enough it didn't feel right either, especially when she whined. "Okay, I won't touch it again." he murmured, petting her as he watched her eye the bowl.

He took out a blanket and put it around her body, knowing that when he was feeling ill at home that's what his mum did. It was the only thing he could do right now, besides making her drink.

"Now, next time you go pooping so much.. I want you to clean it up yourself, okay? You're a big boy now." Picking Thing up in his arms, Clifford gave him a scratch behind the ears before setting him back in his nice clean cage. There, that was better. It couldn't of been nice living in poop. Poor little dude.

"Aguamenti." The prefect murmured, pointing his wand at the little water bowl inside the cage and filling it up to the top. "That's it, drink up buddy." Closing the cage door, Clifford stood and watched Thing lap up the fresh water.

He sorta wished he could adopt him.. but he had Orion! Sniffle.

"You be a good boy, alright?" He said, poking his finger through the bars and touching Thing's fluffy fur. Picking up the bag of poop, Clifford made his way out of the nursery.

Ziella seemed to not want to drink anything, her eyes pleading with him. He sighed, scooping up some water in his hand and holding it out to her. "You need to drink girl. Please, for me?" He asked, his other hand stroking her head softly. She sighed, nudging his hand with her muzzle as her tongue darted out taking a bit of the liquid. "Good girl, that's it." He said softly, his voice concerned.

Perhaps if he rubbed her belly gently that would help he thought, reaching down to her underside and rubbing gently. It always worked for him he figured when he was sick. William was nervous about her being sick on him though he knew she'd feel much better if she did. "You're going to be fine girl, I swear." he said, "I'm not leaving until you get better. If I miss a class so what. You're more important right now." he said, adjusting the blanket around her.

Becca did indeed return, and she was carrying a shiny happy bright blue bouncy ball. It had sparkles and even lit up when bounced! She was sure Daisy would enjoy her new toy. Completely sure of it.

So, she went to test this theory out. Becca narrowly slipped past other students caring for their creatures and hurried to her niffler. Quickly unlocking the cage, Becca stood to full height and held the bouncy ball up in the air. "Ball!" she spoke clearly, watching Daisy come out of the cage with curiosity. Sometimes Becca treated her pet more like a baby than an animal, talking to it as if it was supposed to repeat the words back to her.

"Wanna play catch the RIGHT way this time?" She grinned and wiggled the bouncy ball high above Daisy's head. The niffler was very intrigued. "I'll take that as a yes. Okay so here's the rules. I throw the ball... and you go run all cutesy-like and get it! Don't swallow it though, okay?" It really wasn't small enough for Daisy to swallow, and it would be skillful if she would even be able to put it in her mouth.

Instead of pulling her arm back and launching it as she wanted to, she simply flicked her wrist and released the ball down the dirt path between rows of cages. It bounced and lit up even in the daylight, quiet thumps on the ground as it went. Becca let out a laugh as Daisy went as fast as she could - which wasn't very quick, she learned, but maybe nifflers weren't supposed to be speedy creatures - and chased after the ball.

It hit the far wall and began to roll back towards Becca. Daisy snatched it in her mouth halfway and tried chewing on it. "That was good, Daisy!" Becca encouraged, going and picking up the niffler gently and taking the ball from her. She pocketed the bouncy ball and placed Daisy back in her cage. "Okay, so we know you like that. There's a good sign. I'm glad I didn't get stuck with something stupid like a flobberworm. You're way cooler than that." She grinned and exited through the door, her intentions to attempt to complete some homework. Maybe.

Maddox slowly walked into the Nursery. Finals were in session and he was tired, but he wanted to see Serefina. He walked over to the cage with a smile on his face and opened it.

He waited as she fluttered to his shoulder. "You will be going home with me when term is over. I cant wait. I hope you like Asmara, my owl. It will be interesting carrying two cages and my trunk when that happens." He chuckled and walked over to the bag of feed, and sat down, as she fluttered down to his knee.


He slowly started feeding her one leaf at a time, taking in all the amazing differences in her since the begining of the term. She was completely full grown now. The first time he saw her, she still had a bit of ashes covering what little feathers she had. Now, she was fully grown, with crimson and gold feathers. Her tail feathers draped around them on the floor. Any peacock would be jealous.


Maddox grinned as she refused the last leaf. She was full. She looked up at him and coo'ed a soft melody. It calmed him down. He didnt even realize how tense he was until she started coo'ing her song. She would definatly help his nightmares thats for sure. He gently started rubbing her neck feathers.


They sat there for a good long while. But he knew it was time to go. He smiled and looked down at her. She looked back up at him in curiousity:


He smiled and said, "It's time to go, but dont worry. I will come back in a couple days to get you, and you will be mine forever." She coo'ed happily. He chuckled and stood up. She silently flew back to her cage, and he closed it.

He walked to the door, grabbed his bag, and left.

Cale hadn't been down to the nursery since his horrible encounter with Plymouth and the attack of the Clabberts, but he had left a good amount of time for Zippy to calm down before coming back. Sure enough, as he approached the cage this time, Zippy came to the door cautiously, but made no move to attack him. YES! Success!

"Come here Zippy, Daddy is sorry about what happened last time," he said, patting the Clabbert on the head. After a few minutes, the Clabbert was more comfortable around him, especially when he gave him another piece of raw chicken. Finally Zippy fell asleep, and Cale decided to cut this trip short.

He put the Clabbery back into the cage, trying not to wake him up, before heading back to the castle.

Elizabeth ran down to the nursery a little while before she had to go in to take one of her finals. It was getting close to the end of term, and she didn't want everything to distract her from visiting Macavity. As she got to the building, she slowed down, not wanting to startle any of the creatures by running headlong into the nursery.

Walking down toward her kneazle's cage, she thought about the possibility of adopting him. At least, as far as she knew, she could keep him here this summer, giving her time to figure out how to take care of both him and Bella. Since she still wasn't entirely sure what she was going to do after graduating next term. When she turned the corner and saw him, once again, sitting on the floor outside his cage like he was waiting for her, she knew she wasn't going to be able to let him go, even if he was another little troublemaker. Maybe he could distract Bella, and weirdly end up keeping them both out of trouble.

"Hey Macavity," she greeted the kneazle, crouching down and scratching between his ears for a few minutes. "I don't have long, but at least I found a little bit of time to come see you again. And it wasn't even as long as usual between visits this time." Granted, the impending end of term was speeding things up, but she didn't have to tell him that. Standing up again, she glanced in his cage. "Your food and water look good for now," she idly said, before examining the rest of the cage. It all looked good and clean, so she leaned over again and scooped Macavity up. "You be good for Professor Morgan," she said as she cuddled him a little. "And I'll try to get back to visit again between classes" Dropping a light kiss on his head, near the big black splotch that gave him character, she set him inside the cage again. Half-smiling as she then latched the door, she thought about how it was apparent the latch didn't actually work with him, but it wasn't going to stop her. "I'll see you later," she then said as she watched Macavity go over to his water dish and take a drink. After watching for a second, she turned and headed back up to the castle. Finals awaited.

"Haii Sweetie," Vanessa smiled, as she came to stop outside of Maxxie's cage, carrying a little box of fruit. Putting it on the top of his cage, before opening it, and picking him up gently. "ooh...Good boy, you're cage isn't messy," She smiled, whilst stroking her fur gently. It was a nice colour of gingery bronze now. It suited him well.
"I brought you some more fruit. But I better feed you properly first," She nodded, placing him back in his cage, and fetching some food for him. "Here we are" She nodded, placing a few bits in her hand, and letting Maxxie eat it of her palm. She giggled a little, because it tickled. But at least he was eating it.
As he finished, she watched him move for the tub of fruit and she shook her head. "Nope. Not yet." She grinned at him, picking him back up. "Time for a little wash mate." She held onto him, as she tried to escape from her arms. "Now behave," She nodded at him. Before she cleaned him.

After drying him carefully, she ran a brush through his fur, making sure that it was neat and tidy. "There we go. Wasn't that bad." She smiled, placing him back into the cage, and reaching for the tub. Opening it up, she placed a few slices infront of Maxxie. "Greedy!" She shook her head, as he ate them quickly. "No more today. I can't spoil you. Tomorrow okay." She smiled whilst, closing the cage. "Bye dear."

Evangeline half-wondered if she could possibly be a Clabbert. Greenie was happily playing around with the green rubber ball she had given him and Evangeline was kneeling down on the floor, evanesco-ing all the poop he had done over the night. It was ALOT. Ooooh, maybe coconut sweets weren't that good to him after all.

"That's it, Greenie. No more coconut sweets to you unless you plan on cleaning your own cage from now on.." The Prefect joked lightly, crinkling her nose at the smell. Ewwww. Thank Merlin she had managed to master the spell or she'd have to do it all manually. Eww! After the last poop disappeared, Evangeline filled Greenie's water bowl and turned to look at him playing with the ball.

He was definitely bigger than he used to be, his limbs were now longer but yet, he was somehow more graceful than he used to be. Even his red pustule was now bigger and the red was somewhat brighter! Hehe.

After a while, she managed to get Greenie back into his cage and he immediatelly went to have a drink from his freshly filled water bowl. "Awww. You're thirsty, aint you?" Cute! "See you soon, dear!" She nuzzled his face before closing the cage door and leaving.
