Celandine clapped when Copernicus got on alright and Tiberius stood up, seemingly eager to help as much as he could. She took a deep breath and leaned back, pressing her heels against Cassiopeia's sides and leaning slightly backwards. Cassiopeia reacted instantly, the abraxan quivered with excitement for a moment before launching into the air and Cela leaned forward a bit to indicate the abraxan shouldn't go toooooo high.

She looked down at Copernicus, her eyes bright and excited. She was gonna wait right there until he joined her.

Copernicus worked hard not to hyperventilate as he pressed his heels very lightly against Tiberius's side. Just... fly. Just fly. Justflyalittleplease. The Abraxan seemed to tense and then the wings went out and they were airborne. WHOA. Copernicus grabbed the top of the wings for a moment before realizing that was probably NOT in his best interest. He let go and wrapped his fingers in Tiberius's mane before looking for Cela.

"Not dead yet."

"Of course not! Tiberius will look after you!" Cela looked down at Professor Morgan, checking if they could go higher and let the abraxans have their head a bit. Cassiopeia was quivering with excitement, clearly eager to go fast and high. Cela wouldn't let her go toooooo high though. Eeeeeee!

OWLs, plus...no...Quidditch was over for her this term, which reminded her...there was a Quidditch match she had to attend to...well, the Stands, but she had to attend nonetheless, because it was...it was the Championship one, and she had to support Gryffindor. Yup.

And, Seven was not getting away from it, either. Kaika arrived carrying a red bow, which was immediately untied to get around the Crup's neck. "Awww, you look cute" she said, looking the red string around its neck and setting it a bit loose, we wouldn't want to cut the poor thing's circulation, now.

"I'm getting a golden one when the game's over...until then, you're supporting whichever team I support" talk about freedom.

She knew she was late for the game, but she managed to play a bit with Seven, watching him chase after his two tails was simply hilarious. But seeing him sitting after Kaika saying the word 'Sit' was simply great. She felt proud of Seven, and mostly proud of herself for teaching him to sit properly.

Next time, 'Roll over', because she knew her muggle cousins did the same with the dog they have back at their home. But now..."Quidditch time, Seven" she said, as she placed the creature inside its cage and waved goodbye again.

Her long brunette hair swishing behind her, Vanessa wandered towards the Nursery, her nearly full sketchboard under her arm. She needed to draw a final picture of Maxxie, so that she could then make notes on how he had grown.
"Hey Sweetie," She smiled as she got to Maxxie's cage. He had grown a lot over the few months and she had been looking after him. "Ready to have another drawing gone? She giggled, knowing that Maxxie wouldn't be able to reply to her.
Dropping her pad, and bag onto the floor, she unlocked his cage, and pulled Maxxie out gently.

"Ooh..Look!" She pointed back into the cage, Maxxie had eaten the pieces of fruit that she'd left him last time. He had obviously like them. Picking up her sketch pad, she took Maxxie out to the little pen thingy that was outside, so that he could have a little run around why she sketched him. He'd probably be able to have a little sunbathe to, if he thought that it was warm enough.
Placing him down in the pen, she began to sketch him, giggling a little as she watched him run around. He looked pretty cute.
"i'm donee matey," She grinned, closing her sketch pad, and watching him, run back over to her. Smiling she rubbed his ears. "Time to go back....and to feed you." She nodded, picking him up, and going back inside.

Placing him in the cage, she smiled at him, before filling up the bowl in his cage. "I better go now. Goodbye Maxxie." She nodded, locking his cage, and smiling at him, before leaving.

Miles skipped down the hill which would lead to the glorious magical creature nursery. He was so excited to see young Alan again. He hadn't been here in a while, and he wondered if he would have to clean out his cage, and possibly make the cage bigger too. Bless the little Augurey. Miles thought he was quite lucky to be given such a cute little fella. He also thought about adopting him, he wondered if Alan would like that. Bwaha.

He finally arrived, and blinked once, maybe twice in a row as he stared at what now seemed to be a TOOOOO tiny cage for Alan. "Oh dear." Miles sighed, before quickly unlocking it and taking Alan out carefully. "You've grown loads dude!" No wonder the cage was way too small for him. "I'll see to you in a minute." He said whilst placing Alan in the pen with some other wondering animals.

Miles found some cleaning products on a shelf close by and began cleaning out Alan's icky cage out. He also enlarged it with a quick charm, and it grew only slightly. He sighed again, before looking at Alan, he looked much happier than he did last time. So, that was going to be wrote down on his piece of scrap parchement. "And longer legs and wiings." He mumbled to himself, before lifting himself up from the crouch position. "Come on then dude." Miles smiled, picking up the little Augurey.

"Riiiiight, I'm going to leave to lock unlocked, so if you want to roam around, you can." Miles said throught the little netted window. He thought Alan was now old enough to let himself in and out of his home now.

Becca was back again, and this time she had something like a plastic stick in her hand. It resembled a wand probably more than a stick, though, since there were no little branches sticking out. But she had doused it in apple juice, so it smelled and would probably taste fruity. Hopefully her pet would have an attraction to it, and they could play some games.

"Today, Daisy," she began, opening the cage and letting her prance out, "we'll see if you like playing catch." She got down on her knees and held the stick up to Daisy's nose to smell. "Stick. Stick. Okay, now... go get it!" And she tossed the stick a few feet away. As expected, Daisy sort of just sat next to her knee and looked at the stick. "Go on, you can do it!" Becca encouraged. But the niffler didn't move.

"Hm. Well... okay. Fine. You don't like sticks. Next time I'll get a ball or something. What pet doesn't like to play fetch, really?" she asked theoretically. Of course, a goldfish came to mind. But that totally didn't count.

She stroked Daisy's fur and looked around the nursery. She had watched Daisy grow up in here, and now the adorable niffler was growing up. It was a very curious thing, age. And being a parent. When the students first started taking care of their animals, the creatures were so small. Now their sizes were much different.

Becca gently placed Daisy back in her cage. "Tomorrow I'll bring you something you can really play with, okay? Be good," she told the niffler. She gave her pet a small smile, then pulled the door open and left.

Yes, Kaika was not happy. And the crup probably sensed that too.

There was sadness in her eyes, "Yes, Gryffindor lost, Seven" she said, as she took the not-too-little but not-big crup in her arms. Of course, he still had that red ribbon around his neck.

"Stay here for a moment" she said, as she placed him in the ground and took her wand out. A simple color-change spell will be enough to change the color of the ribbon, and it did! It was now a golden tone, "Fair enough, because I'm a Hufflepuff" she explained as if the creature was asking her.

But he didn't stay put easily, which got her to think that maybe she needed to teach him to stay, right? Because he already knew how to sit. "What if...I say 'Stay' and you don't move from the place you are?" simple enough, not sure if Seven got it, "Like 'Sit'..." but as she said the words, the crup sat, "...no, listen, I say 'Stay' and you don't move" she was pointing her finger to him. But, he didn't seem to understand, because he followed her whenever she went, "Stay" she said, placing him a few feet away. And moving to the other side, "Stay" she said again, when she noticed Seven trying to move towards her.

She smiled, the creature didn't move, "That's what 'Stay' means" she said, feeding him a treat.

But OWLs were calling for her, "I'll come back, tomorrow, there's something else I want to teach you" she said, as she placed him inside. He'll be sure to have a good night's sleep. And probably she will as well.

Professor Morgan's eyes followed Tiberius as he lifted up into the air. "That's it Cope, Way to go!" She cheered. "Alright guys, whatever feels natural. I'll be here if you need me so HAVE FUN!"

William was back again, this time with a special treat for Ziella. His eyes sparkled as he stepped in and looked around, walking towards the supplies and picking up some treats and a bucket. Nodding to himself he did a one-turn and walked over to Ziellas' cage, noticing her sleeping. He smiled, setting his stuff down and sat down in front of the cage, frowning slightly. Her furr seems to be plastered to her body, beads of sweat on her face. He scoots closer, "Zie, you okay?" He asks, opening her cage and running a hand through her fur.

She opens her eyes and looks at him. Her eyes are dull. "Oh Zie, you're not feeling well are you?" He asks, getting up and taking out the book he got on Crups. He opens it up and looks through it, frowning when he can't find the page. Closing the book he looks around for Professor Morgan and spots her. Looking back to Ziella he sighs, not wanting to leave her but knowing he should go and get the professor lest something bad is wrong.

"Professor Morgan, can you help me please?" He calls out, practically running up to her with a sad look on his face.

"So... a bit higher?" Cope gave Cela a wide eyed look. He would follow her anywhere, but if he fell off and died... that would stink. He leaned forward just slightly and Tiberius pushed forward, leaving Cela and Cassiopea behind. "Keep up, Miss Toussaint!"

"Okay, Professor!" Cela called down.

"Yeah!" Celandine agreed and it was her turn to look at him with wide eyes as he took off. She nudged Cassiopeia into action and it wasn't all that long before they were coming up just behind Tiberius and Copernicus. "Oooh! not tooo close Cassiopeia!" Celandine eyed the wing spans of the two abraxans in concern and nudged her over a bit so they wouldn't interfere with each other. "I can keep up! Can you?" Cela shot him a look and raised both hands in the air, joy obvious on her face as she closed her eyes and felt the air brush her fingertips.

Qaz wandered in, still nursing a headache from the party in the common room. She made her way over to her Jarvey cage, and when she looked in, was very surprised to see that Chaos was awake.

'Well, hello there, This is the first time that I've visited you at night. You must be some kind of night owl.' Qaz opened the cage and started stroking his back. 'I didn't bring the palypen....how about a walk?' Qaz asked as she gently picked him up.

She started to wander arund the large room with her jarvey tucked inside her T-Shirt (he looked so cute with just his head popping out)

She could tell that some of the critters were scary to him...sharp little claws made that painfully clear....

Some were smaller that he was...and he gave them a preditory stare....

Some looked like nothing he could comprehend...so he didn't register them at all.

It took almost an hour to walk by all the cages. When they where done, Qaz was tired. She deposited Chaos back in his cage, feeling guilty that she hadn't brought him a treat. 'I'll be back soo..with nummies, I promise.'

As she walked away, she could hear, 'titch, tut tak, titch, tutty, tutty'

"Blaze! Blaze! Blaze!" Anna exclaimed, running into the nursery and straight back to the area her little bird stayed in when she wasn't around. Skidding to a stop near the bird's cage and landing on the ground beside it, Anna began talking as fast as she could get the words to leave her mouth. "Okay, so the Gryffindor Quidditch team made it to the championship game, which was held today. Before I go any further, I have to tell you that we didn't win the match. Too bad, huh?" Anna repositioned herself to where she was seated indian-style on the ground and then she began her little story once again. "Actually, though, it wasn't that bad of a lose! We actually nearly won the match. I'm so excited that we made it that far and put up a good fight, though!"

Anna grew quiet and pulled out some more lettuce and celery sticks for Blaze. She quietly, but quickly, worked on chopping them up into little bits and pieces. She knew Blaze must be starving! As soon as the meal was finely chopped and ready for the bird to consume, Anna dropped all the little pieces into a bowl and then slid the bowl into Blaze's cage. She wasn't ready to let him out just yet. If she did, he'd fly far, far away and forget to eat. She'd let him out as soon as he finished eating, though. As Blaze ate, Anna cleaned and refilled the water bottle she'd attached to the cage the last time she'd visited. She smiled as she watched Blaze eat and drink happily.

As soon as Blaze was done with his meal, Anna opened the cage and let her bird fly free. In a mere second, Blaze was out of her sight, just as Anna imagined he would have been. While Blaze was gone, Anna cleaned his cage just a bit. She replaced the dirty blankets with two clean ones, hoping to give Blaze a little more of a clean environment to live in. The metal bars of the cage seemed to still be clean, so Anna didn't worry with those at the moment. Besides, Blaze was returning, sooner than Anna thought he would, though. "You okay, boy?" she asked. To her surprise, the bird landed in her lap and cuddled in her arms. Anna ran her fingers up and down the bird's back, being careful not to touch its piping hot tail. Anna held Blaze until the sky started to turn a darker color, then she placed him gently back into his little cage. "Night, night! Sleep tight, baby bird!" said, latching the cage. As soon as she'd picked up all her belongings and cleaned the area she'd been in, Anna headed out the nursery and back to the Common Room.

Copernicus let Tiberius follow Cassiopea. There was no way he could do the lead, and Tiberius was going anywhere his best mate was going regardless of the directions Cope gave regardless. He wasn't brave enough to unwrap his fingers from the mane, but he did close his eyes and enjoy the wind rushing at him. Whoa.

After a few minutes, he felt a sort of stutter in the up swing of Tiberius's wings, which reminded him that the Abraxan was still VERY young and probably getting tired. "CELA!" He gestured at the ground and directed Tiberius to head down. The Abraxan did so rather quickly.

Cela lowered her hands slowly and leaned to direct Cassiopeia down. She touched her heals against the abraxan's sides and she landed a little sloppily. "Going to have to work on that huh?" Cela leaned forward to nuzzle Cassiopeia for a moment before turning her head to face Cope, her cheek resting on the abraxan.

She let out a shuddering little sigh of happiness and smiled at him without saying anything. What was she supposed to say? They had just flown on their abraxans! After a moment, Cela sat up and gently stroked Cassiopeia between her eyes, the abraxan knelt and Cela slid off gracefully, only slightly unsteady on her feet considering her stomach was still giddy from the experience.

Copernicus was already off Tiberius and he offered a hand to Cela. "Careful there. The ground moves all sideways on you when you aren't looking," he grinned at her. "So that was a successful first flight, in spite of me being crazy earlier."

Cela took his hand tightly, grinning up at him. That had been amazing. Wonderful! She sighed again and took a shaky step, stopping almost immediately because she hadn't quite gotten her balance back yet. "My legs are shaking!" She announced, looking down at her knees and giggling a little, the euphoria still not having worn off.

"That happens, I guess. We'll be better used to it next time," he put his arm around her to steady her shaking. That was dangerous, because it put her little blond head right below his chin, but he ignored the closeness as he helped her toward the Professor.

"Thank you for your help, Professor Morgan. I think that was probably about all they could handle for today, but it was... amazing!"

"Oh it was wonderful! I get excited every time but this time it was different because it was Cassiopeia and Tiberius and you!" Cela couldn't get rid of the grin on her face and she tilted her head up to look at Cope. She poked her tongue out at him and nodded at his words, looking at Professor Morgan with her eyes shining. She leaned against Copernicus a little bit as her legs steadied and she looked over her shoulder at the abraxans. They looked so proud. And tired.

Iliana gracefully hopped down from the fence and ran over to her students. She was elated by how well they had all done. Both the kids and their Abraxans. "That was truly exceptional to watch! I couldn't have hoped for it to have gone any better than that." She reached up and patted Cassiopeia's neck. "Good girl!" She said, rubbing her nose against the winged horse's own. "And you too, Tiberius." She said, giving him the same treatment that followed most daily feedings. They certainly seemed to like the attention more than any of Ili's other animals in the Nursery. She beamed down at Celandine. "Young lady, that was wonderful. I think you're both just about ready to ride them on your own." She turned her brilliant smile on Copernicus and added, "I'm so glad you enjoyed that. I couldn't be more proud of you both."

Copernicus smiled broadly, but he was also savvy enough to remove his arm from around Cela. "Thank you, Professor. I'm sure I couldn't have gotten up there without both you AND Miss Toussaint's assistance. Tiberius certainly seemed to know what to do, even if I had no clue." He glanced at Cela to be sure she was steady on her feet before putting his hand back on Tiberius's neck.

"I'm looking forward to trying that again."

Cela beamed back happily, this had been the best day! "Thank you so much Professor Morgan! Oh and I forgot to give you this." Cela reached into her pocket and handed over the note Professor Truebridge had written.

Cela surprised herself with the brief thought that maybe she should pretend she was still a little unsteady. She blinked and to hide her confusion, she put her arms around Cassiopeia and gave the abraxan a nuzzle. "You always look like you know what you are doing." Cela told Copernicus, without looking at him. She looked at Professor Morgan expectantly.

"When can we try it again?"

Still in an extremely good mood, Mariel wandered into the Magical Creatures Nursery on her walk on the grounds. She had figured she might as well visit Felix while she was out seeing that it was nearly the end of term and she was soon running out of opportunity. Besides, she had brought some leftover fruit from breakfast that she was sure her Jarvey would enjoy as a treat.

Immediately locating his cage, Mariel walked over and noticed that her Jarvey was curled up, asleep. Not wanting to disturb him, the second year quietly pulled out the parchment wrapped packet of fruit from her pocket and slowly opened the cage door as she dropped the pieces of apples and strawberries in his food dish. His food and water otherwise full, she closed the door and whispered, "Bye Felix, I'll come again soon." She was slightly crestfallen that she couldn't share her news with him, then thought she was being ridiculous as he would not be able to understand what she was talking about and would probably just try to insult her anyway, not that anything could ruin her good mood just now. Shrugging, she turned on her heel and left to enjoy the rest of the Spring day before she had to go back in to prepare for exams.

"You're welcome Copernicus, but I beg to differ. You looked like a natural up there. I'm sure you would have figured it out on your own eventually. I'm just lucky to have been here to help." Taking the letter from Cela's hand, Iliana shoved it in her back pocket without opening it and smiled. "I had almost forgot all about that, Cela. Thank you, 5 points for your help."

Iliana laughed quietly at Cela's question of when. The eagerness in her voice was adorable. "I think its best to come again as soon as possible. Short rides like today, on a regular basis are just what the Abraxans need. I'm here everyday about this time... Why don't you just meet me down here whenever you'd like."
