*Gabben walked down the line of books looking for a new one. He saw Cayden and gave him a small wave as he walked by.*

Lasca entered the library and gasped at the sheer size of the place. Had she died and gone to heaven? Or at least a Ravenclaw's version, although if it were heaven their would be brooms zooming around. Shaking her head at her sillyness, the young girl scanned the area for the Librarian. When she didn't see her, Lasca decided to look for the book herself.

Making her way through the shelves, following them alphabetically she came to the isle containing the M's and came upon several other students. She searched the shelves but didn't find one that looked like it held the information she needed. Seeing that their was a rather tall boy standing in front of the M's she decided to ask. She was tall for her age but her was still a bit taller and could no doubt reach higher.

Clearing her throat she tried to catch their attention. "Excuse me. Can any of you see a book about metamorphmagus? I would look myself but I am not wanting to be rude." She glanced around and gave herself a mental kick at her rudeness. She dipped into a neat curtsy. "I am Lasca by the way." She ran her hand through her hair as she noticed that there was a ghost floating not three feet in front of her.

The woman was quite lovely. Lasca gave her a curtsy as she was no doubt her elder, ghost or not she deserved respect.

"That is advanced magic for a young lady," the Grey Lady replied as she floated through a bookcase and out of sight.

Lasca gave the Lady a nod. "I am curious. It seems that I am a metamorphmagus, however in my country we label it differently. I simply wish to learn how to control this ability. At present it coincides with my moods." She was a tad disgruntled as she watched the Lady float through a bookcase. Sighing, she waited. Either for some help or to be given access to that particular shelf.

Oy! Another boy/student she didn't know and he was Ravenclaw. She looked back to the ghost to see if she could tell what the Grey Lady was reading, but she was floating too high for her to tell.

Lyra giggled when she figured out that the ghost seemed to be speaking to Cayden instead of her but then she quickly frowned once again. "I have a brain," she mumbled but yet he did get something right. She was craft.

Lyra was then startled by another student that walked up to them and began to speak about a book. "Oh I'm sorry," she said as she began looking through the M's for the book the girl asked for but then stopped short. "You are a little young to know anything about that. That is sixth year magic and you will not find information here on it. You need to speak to the Librarian, Miss Kohan." The ghost seemed to speak the same as her and then disappeared. Well that was great! Lyra rolled her eyes and moved to get out of the library as it was becoming too crowded at the moment.

Cayden smiled at Gabben as he returned a wave. he wondered what he was looking for. Maybe something interesting. he watched him for a moment as he went behind some book cases. Oh well.

Metamorphmagus? Why would you want to change into things when someone was perfect just they way they were. made no sense to him."Cayden blood. Nice too meet you Lasca." he said as he gave her a smile." I have no idea, sorry." he said as he had no idea where anything was around here.


He looked at lyra as she was frowning. What did he do this time?"I Know. Thats what i said. You had a brain. How else would you be crafty if you didnt have a brain? I was just trying to point it out to her seeing as she wasnt seeing it." Gesh. She was hard to please. Maybe he would just carry popcorn with him all the time."And how do you know its too advanced for her. she could be like...amazingly smart."

Struggling to keep her emtions under control, Lasca took two deep breaths. All she wanted to do was look at a book, a simple harmless book and the Lady and one of the other girls was telling her she was too young. She just wanted answers, it wasn't like she was trying to learn how to cast a big spell or anything. She was quickly becoming frustrated, causing her eyes to turn from emerald green to murky grey.

She smiled however as the boy introduced himself. He was unable to help her as well but not because he thought her too young. She gave him a polite nod. "It is nice meeting you, Cayden."

Ludo shrugged as the Grey Lady floated out of sight. Chances were he'd see her or some other Hogwarts ghost soon enough. He pulled a book down and found that it was entitled Vined Plants Most Violent.

"Good enough..." he muttered and headed over to a table to skim it.

Theo's little head peeked around Lyra. "B...b...but she might float through me. Or do nasty things, like they do in stories." He had only read about ghosts, never seen them. So his vision was rather impaired on that one.

"Peeves?" he didn't like the sound of that name, "Is he horrible? Does he take things?" He couldn't think what a ghost could do to him, his imagination wasn't that good.

Lyra began to smile again as her head bopped from one side to the next. "I knew I liked you, Cayden," she said as she was now happy that she just misunderstood what he was saying. "I'm glad someone sees me with a brain and the Grey Lady, well she is Ravenclaw. Need I say more?"

She turned back to Theo and placed her arm around him. "It will be okay, Theo. Trust me, she is harmless," she sighed as he then asked about Peeves. "Peeves on the other hand, he is one that you will have to watch out for. I haven't met him yet but...well, how about we get out of here and go roam the castle? Sound fair enough? I can try to tell you anything you want to know."

"You're a day late and a galleon short," Anna replied. "Peeves and I have already met. I was walking along the second floor corridor earlier when I came upon Peeves, Reese from Slytherin, and Rose from Gryffindor. Peeves had just dropped dungbombs onto both Reese and Rose's head." Anna thought back to that horrible incident. Peeves had been so out of control that he didn't even bother to follow Professor Shackleton's orders. Anna couldn't imagine what other types of chaos the Poltergeist was capable of. "That's actually why I'm here. I'm trying to get more information on Poltergeists and ghosts," she added.

Anna watched the ghost until it had floated completely out of sight. Getting used to the beings floating in and out hadn't been too hard, but their presence never seemed to fail to capture Anna's full attention. She wondered where they came from and why they chose to show up at this point and time. She had her ideas, but nothing was proved yet, of course. "Come on, Lyra. Let's go see what we find throughout the rest of the school," Anna said.

"Well, you don't have to worry about that now, do you?" Anna asked, pointing in the direction the ghost had vanished in. "She's gone now, and she didn't even hurt a single one of us. I've met a few of the ghosts so far, and neither of them harmed a student." Anna turned and headed towards the door. "Anyway, I'm heading out now. I'll see you around," Anna added.

Theo looked rather pathetic standing behind Lyra, a whimperish look on his face. At least he wasn't crying. Yet. He would've clung onto her if he could. But now she had an arm around him. She was looking after him. She liked him. If he asked her, he reckoned she would be his girlfriend. And then she asked him to walk with him. He nodded, "Ok. Where do you want to go?" He smiled, rather happy that she wanted to be with him.

"Nice meeting you too." he told her as he went back to the rest of the group that he was talking with. Really he had gotten what he had needed on vampires. At least enough to believe he thought what he thought. Or he could of thought what he thought and then told her what he thought and acutally be told that he had thought wrong. either way it was too much thought.

He wished he hadnt felt like she liked him due to the fact he was sucking up a little. Which he wasnt. More like pointing a simple fact out."Thanks." he told her as he gave her a smile as his hand went behind his head to mess with his hair."Just because someone in an house doesnt necessarily mean they are better then anyone else. Or smarter." yeah maybe he should just shut up before he got himself into trouble.

"I have a galleon." he said as she told him he was a galleon short. he heard her small story about peeves as it didnt sound as much fun as it did a few minutes ago. Though if you were peeves he was sure it was fun. Its not like they could really do anything."Im sure i could ask around with our ghost if you like." he offered her as he gave her a smile. he saw that she was headed towards the door as she was probably off to continue her search." I'll talk to you later then. Have fun with your searching."


he looked at the little kid that was with lyra as he gave him a smile." Hey. Cayden Blood." he said as he put his hand out for him to shake. he was in his own house so it wouldnt hurt him to know his class mates. Even if they were younger and shorter. At least he wasnt going to ramble on like a earthquake.

Lyra turned her head towards Anna. "You have seen PEEVES?" She began in a strong voice but then when she got to the little man's name she whispered it in a loud whisper of course. "Let's do go and see if we can find something else and maybe we can chat about what happened last year because I know nothing." She looked back to Theo to make sure he would be okay with that. If one thing, she wanted to toughen him up a bit, he was Slytherin after all. Still a little young but he could handle it. She believed in him and knew he could.

Lyra began to move from the bookshelves towards the forth floor corridor. At least they could all talk there and find something to...investigate. She wanted to see more ghosts.
Before she took another step, there was one thing she needed to let the new student in on. "Hey, Cayden, you might want to read up on Hogwarts, A History. It will tell you about the differences in the Houses." That boy needed to figure out what he was speaking about before opening his mouth.

Lasca sighed as she was thoroughly dismissed. The other students were so engrossed in their conversations, and they thought her too young for the information she sought. Shaking her head in frustration she decided to leave. Maybe, she could come back later and search the shelves herself. When they weren't over run by people who didn't want to help.

Turning on her heel she exited the library, with a flourish. Streaks of silver began darting through her hair, evidence of her obvious frustration.

Theo's little hand appeared around the side of Lyra, "Theodore Newtington the Forth," he muttered, shaking Cayden's hand. "Nice to meet you Cayden."

Theo nodded, "I want to meet Peeves," he muttered. He wanted to look big infront of Lyra. She was going to be his girlfriend after all. And he had to look tough. "Will you hold my hand Lyra? So I don't get lost, please."

Reese entered to Library for the first time...since she started Hogwarts 4 years ago.She walked over to one of the bookshelves and started scanning the rows of books.She needed to book.One that can get her mind of things and carry her into a different world.

he winched a little as she yelled Peeves. she was rather excited. He focused on her as she said his name." Yeah." he stared at her as she told him that he needed to read hogwarts of history. He had read some of it, but obviously he had fallen asleep during some points."Erh thanks Lyra." he paused for a second as he looked around."Hey would that be at?" he asked as he gave her a small nervious laugh.

He smiled at the kid as he asked if she would hold his hand. It was funny. he was sure he was like that when he was younger, but he couldnt remember himself at that age."Nice meeting you Theodore." he smiled again as he started to look around the shelves for this book. Did they have a history section.

Lasca had turned the corner when a rather interesting book caught her attention. Gliding over to it she took it from the shelf and opened to a page. So engrossed was she in the book, that the sudden silence of the area was deafening. Peeking around the corner she saw that the crowd had gone.

Placing the book back on the shelf she made her way over to the M's and began searching for the topic she wanted. There was a rather large book that had Metamorphmagus-An Informational Guide emblazoned on the spine. Lasca reached up and snagged it from the shelf. Making her way over to a table she sat down and began reading.

Christine walked towards the bookshelves quickly. The idea of being able to find the answer that she has been looking for made her heart beat quickly. She started skiming through the books, looking for the title she needed. After three minutes of looking she finally found it. A Psychological look at Magic was sitting on the third shelf from the top covered in dust. She pulled the book off the shelf and starred at the cover. Now that the answer was sitting in her hands, she was afraid of what it would say. What it would mean about her.

Skylar walked into the library to find a quiet place in the book shelves to sit and read her book. She walked to the far end and found a quiet dark place that looked comfortable enough. She sat down and opened her book. She just hoped no one would think to come back here.

Mackenzie walked through the bookshelves, looking for something new to read. She had already finished the books she brought with her, seeing as all she did was read. Mackenzie looked through some of the books and pulled out one that sparked her interest. She started to thumb through the pages absentmindedly.

*Gabben walked down the books looking for a new one. He had just gotten back to school and already missed home. He pulled down a book on magical tree's and sat down starting to read.*

Skylar noticed someone nearby, and closed her book. She noticed a guy who looked kinda home sick with a book about what looked to be tree's. "Magical Tree's?" She asked the boy.

"Yep. I heard you can find a tree that spits jam at you if you get to close." *That wasn't true, he was really reading up on them for fun. Gabben was a big nerd but would never show it.*
"I'm Gabben by the way."
