Well. That was SOME progress, although the vines were still tight around him. Copernicus tugged his arms clear and traced yet another rune on a square of paper. Intently, he whispered the name of the rune, followed by the blessing.

"Here's hoping," he laughed to himself, drawing the rune and bringing it to his lips. To freedom.

Paris grunted in response. This was like a hostage situation. They were being held captive but a crazy plant and its giggling ring master. She hastily tore off another piece of paper and carefully traced the rune being careful not to mix up the Anglo runes with the Futhark runes. She once again brought the paper up to her lips and chanted the name. She closed her eyes and whispered the blessing and then kissed the parchment. "Please let this one work," She whispered.

The leaves on Abby vines burst and shower her with water everywhere. Abby is soaked to the bone and mad as a wet him. This exercise ceases to be a friendly game. It's war. Abby manages to get her hands on her wand and uses a drought charm to clean up the water. She then uses a summoning charm to steal a piece of dry parchment off of Copernicus's desk. Abby cuts out an oval this time. She lightly pencils another rune while chanting its name over and over in her mind. She decides on a god to chant to, and starts chanting, "Hammer in the North, East, South, West above and below hallow and hold this holy stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr!" Abby then writes the rune on the paper. She leans over and kisses the paper. No easy task considering she's wrapped head to toe in ivy vines.

Ana saw the ivy. Ok, let's try again!

She drew the rune in the parchement saying the name.
Then focus really hard she said the bless

"'Hammer in the North, East, South, West, above and below hallow and hold this holy-stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr!'"

And kissed trying to pass her energy to the rune. Hope it works!

William grinned as the vines around him began dancing around him. Well it was a start he mused, trying to figure out which runes to use next. Cutting out another hexagonal shaped piece of paper, he chanted the chant while thinking of his Runes. "Hammer in the North, East, South, West above and below hallow and hold this holy stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr!" he chanted softly, his eyes closed, legs crossed. When he felt that he had chanted enough he kissed the rune on his piece of hexagonal-shaped paper and waited, his eyes still closed.

Oh, for the love of Merlin! If anything, the rune she'd just used made the situation even worse. Great. She winced as the vines tightened around her. She needed to think fast and choose another rune! For the third time, Anna gathered her cards and thought even more carefully about a rune that could help her. Her top two choices were obviously wrong, so it was time to use her third choice and hope that it was, as superstition said, a charm. When she'd decided, Anna began the blessing, thinking of Thor as the God she'd like to assist her. "Hammer in the North, East, South, West, above and below hallow and hold this holy-stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr!" she said. She quickly wrote the rune she'd chosen on a piece of paper, kissed it, and then hoped for the very best.

Sunbathe? Evangeline didn't sunbathe! Her perfect pale complexion was .. well, pale for some reason! Ack, she needed to get away from the suuunlight! Smiling a bit nervously at Paris, Evangeline then tried to figure out what other rune to use. Hmmm. After deciding which rune she'd use, Evangeline decided she'd want Thor to help her. Yes, yes. "Hammer in the North, East, South, West, above and below hallow and hold this holy-stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr!" she said before quickly writing the rune she'd chosen on a square piece of paper and kissing it.

This better be iiit.

"Oh yeah?" Clifford huffed, flexing his own muscles at the ivy. "I'll show you.. GRR! I am the man!" Oh yesh! He was gonna get outta here.

Drawing yet another rune, Clifford whispered under his breath, giving it his blessing and finally giving it a nice smooch.

The ivy around Qaz pulled to join Paris and Evangeline in the sunlight. "Ok, now I'm jealous!"

The ivy around Tobi froze around his legs holding him down and chilling him to the bone.

A bud sprouted into a pretty flower and landed it in her hair. "Paris! You got a present!"

"Hey! No stealing from Pernicula!" She said, but more buds sprouted and pretty spring flowers blossomed all around Abby. "Ooo Pretty…" (ADHD much?!)

The ivy leaves turned into gallions, and put themselves into Ana's pocket. "Don't get use to it, it vanishes after you leave this room." She said.

The ivy leaves grabbed a hold of William and spun him around as if he was on a rollercoaster. "Woo!!! That's Awesome!"

Anna's ivy cupped her face and forced her to look at a spider what was perched on a leaf. "EEEEEP!!!! KILL IT KILL IT!!!!" Evil Spider!" She cried and hid behind the manly Plymouth.

The ivy became thicker, stronger, and held Evangeline very tight.

Clifford's ivy now grew wider and covered him compleately with it's leaves.

The ivy let go of Copernicus and grew to grab the students around him, "Oooo! You got the right rune! And earlier than I expected! 50 points. Dagaz was the correct rune to release you from the ivy!" She then made all the Ivy disappear. "More fun?" She asked sweetly.

Copernicus's jaw dropped as the rune worked and the vines peeled away from him. Wow, that was... awesome! And unexpected. And was she really asking if they wanted more fun? Was this fun so far? "Um... sure, professor."

"Ow, ow, ow, ow!" Squealed Evangeline a bit louder than she would've wanted as the ivy held her so tight it was a little big difficult to breathe. Goodness. Lupa was so going to end up killing her one of these days! She forgot all about Lupa killing her when the woman awarded Ravenclaw 50 points. Aaaah. They didnt neeed those 50 points!

But, at least, she was free.

Huffing at the Professor, Evangeline straightened up her clothes and went back to her seat. More fun?! Hah. "...yes ... Professor." Lately, Evangeline had learnt to be careful with what Lupa thought of 'fun'.

One second William was safe on the ground, the next he was spinning wildly, his eyes trying to see everything before he grew a bit more sickly than before. He wanted it to stop, his face going green as the spinning continued. He kept his mouth closed, just as the ivy dissapeared and he found himself on the ground, his head spinning wildly. "Ah man." he muttered, the room still spinning.

"THAT WAS FUN!" he exclaimed, the grin on his face something that hadn't appeared since the day he arrived. "I want more!" he added grinning wildly at the professor.

WOW! Celandine shot an impressed look at Copernicus and blinked a few times as the ivy pulled away from her. Professor Lupa's classes were the best.

AAHHH!!1 When the ivy covered him completely, Clifford began to panic.. but then Professor Lupa made it all disappear. So Ravenclaw had won 50 points.. he figured he better be grateful that he hadn't been throttled to death though. Heh.

"WoOooOoo." He nodded half-heartedly, punching the air lazily. "More fun!" Yaaaay. Bleh.

Anna continued to hide behind Plymouth as she watched the spider from afar. Of all people, why did she have to choose Plymouth to hide behind? Oh, yeah...because she was supposedly "in loooove with him or something. Psh. Yeah, right. Hopefully the boy wouldn't have heart failure or anything of the sort. Peeking out from behind Plymouth, Anna watched as the ivy vines finally released Cope. Oh, yay! Cope had received fifty points! Too bad he wasn't in Gryffindor...

Anna slid from the ivy as it began to disappear. She rubs her arms a bit where the vines had been particularly tight. The professor wanted...more fun now? Yikes! "Erm, sure, Professor," she said, wondering just what in the world she was agreeing to.

Tobi's teeth started chattering when the ivy started to freeze. WRONG MOVE WRONG MOVE!

and then he was free! who was it? Who was it? Was it Clifford? Was it Evangeline? Please not a Slytherin, Gryffindor was barely hanging on to 3rd place!

It was Kettleburn. Well, that wasn't so bad. Not like Ravenclaw needed the points, but it could have been worse.

Oh Dagaz! He knew he should have chosen that. Oh well. No one would ever accuse him of being good at Runes. He sure did try hard tho.

Qaz didn't mind Ivy, as long as it wasn't Poison Ivy, but she was glad to be released....and up for more fun, so she raised her hand and voted for 'More Fun....YES!'

She felt the bud drop in her hair and she quickly fished it out of her hair. She didn't want anything sprouting up in her hair. She looked up in shock as That Kettlebum boy got the 50 points. "Oh thats just great," she grumbled. First the kid tries to kill her in that flying lesson, she still hadn't forgot that either, and now he gets 50 flipping points.

"Bring it on Professor Lupa," She said with as much enthusiasm as she could muster after losing 50 points.

Cedric raised his hand,the ivy around him grows tighter and stronger..."professor...Luuupppaa...How can I managed this ivy?"Cedric asked desperately

"Ok..." she said, "Everyone saw what the ivy did to everyone. Lets play GUESS THE RUNE! Pick ONE person, and ONE round. We had round one, two and three, and guess which rune they chose. Do not pick the same one, there are plenty of rounds and people." She said excited.

Cedric was happy and comfortable now because Professor Lupa took th ivy away.."thanks!professor..",Professor Lupa announced something..maybe they're playing a game..."wow,professor,are we gonna play?"Cedric asked

She raised her hand, "Did Ana pick the Fehu rune?" She guessed.

Cela raised her hand to guess, "Did Tobi choose Isa?" He froze and stuff so it was Cela's best guess.

Copernicus raised his hand. "Did Qaz pick Sowilo during the last round?"

"Did evangeline pick Algiz?.."Cedric asked desperately
