Alessia bounced into her classroom, excited to teach her last class. She laid on the floor and took her wand, waving it about. She cast a few spells causing ivy to crawl up the walls and desks around her. She then gave a flourish with her wand, and little pink buds sprouted from some of the vines. "Ooo Pretty!" She said to herself. Now she just needed to wait for the students.

He went through the whole process again, whispering and blessing and kissing, AFTER he had lightly drawn his rune on the cardboard.

Herminnny jumped a little as the ivory wrapped around her legs and she thought man this professor is crazy, she is holding us to the classroom.
Then Herminny thought if I am stuck here I might as well do the task at hand so she drew her runes, one per peice of paper, and hesitantly kissed the paper thinking ewe yuck as she put down her rune set one by one hoping professor Lupa would release her and the rest of the students from the ivory soon.

Celandine rounded her cards off into egg shapes and thought about it for a bit before selecting a rune. She cleared her throat and thinking of Freya, began the blessing, "Hammer in the North, East, South, West, above and below hallow and hold this holy-stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr..." Cela drew the rune and kissed the paper, hoping she'd chosen the right one to get herself out of the ivy. Or actually... hoping that Tobi had.

Oh, wow. This was certainly an...interesting class, indeed. Even though she was currently tangled in a mess of vines, Anna was still having a really awesome time. She loved when her professors came up with really exciting ideas to help the students learn the concepts. Anna gathered her cards and thought carefully about which of the runes could assist her in getting out of the situation she was currently in. When she'd decided, Anna began the blessing, thinking of Freya as the Goddess she'd like to assist her. "Hammer in the North, East, South, West, above and below hallow and hold this holy-stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr!" she said. She quickly wrote the rune she'd chosen on a piece of paper, kissed it, and then hoped for the very best.

Abby squirms as the English Ivy crawls up her legs. It feels like a dozen tarantula's crawling up her legs. Abby crabs a piece of parchment and cuts it into a diamond shape. She looks in her Ancient Runes textbook and finds an intresting Rune. Abby thinks of the goddess Freya while she chants: "Hammer in the North, East, South, West, above and below hallow and hold this holy-stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr!" Abby writes the rune she's selected on the paper diamond. She neans over and kisses the paper. Then she scratches her legs. This ivy is full of bugs! eeeee!

Daniel was starting to get the tingling feel as the ivy starts to creep from his feet. He is a very ticklish boy and will laugh very hard to say the least.

He cuts a piece of paper and writes on it and mumbles the incantations, Hammer in the North, East, South, West, above and below hallow and hold this holy-stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr!. He closes his eyes and kissed the rune that he had made.

Barry wondered if he could do it he cut the paper and drew a rune on it and quitly chanted the name then he did the blessing and kissed the rune and waited hoping he was free at last.

Plymouth didn't mind the ivy pants. They were using him to grow and he wanted them to grow! But he also wanted to do what crazy ole Lupa wanted, so he drew his Rune with his red crayon. He said the incantation (or at least tried to) and then he nuzzled his paper with his nose and gave it a loud, smacking kiss.

Jane giggled as Plymouth made the smacking sound. She turned to her paper and cut it rather squarish and dipped her quill in green ink. She thought about Thor since he was so powerful..and made crops grow..uh well, the idea was to kill the ivy wasn't it?

No, no...not Thor. Baldr. Yeeeaaassss. He was so bright and good looking, I bet the brightness of his skin will kill the Ivy like Devil's Snare.Yes, yes. Baldr. Plus, he was good looking.

Jane thought of Baldr and chanted: "Hammer in the North, East, South, West, above and below hallow and hold this holy-stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr!" and kissed the paper like Plymouth did. It was funny.

The ivy around Copernicus and Cedric grew wider and covered them with it's leaves, but not letting go of them.

He then began to trace the rune onto the parchment he'd cut out in a light sketch, whilst chanting it more to himself. He didn't need the embarrassment of loud chanting on top of everything else that was happening.

Once done with his tracings, the fifth year bent his head low to the paper and whispered the blessing and the rune name. Though subconsciously doubting this would work, he was still confident in his selection of the rune and pressed his lips lightly to the fiber.

Dominic's Ivy cupped his little face and then showed him it's scariest leaf.

While around Daniel and Celandine the ivy became thicker, stronger, and tightened around them.

This was weird and Clifford didn't like this ivy stuff one ickle bit. He thought this was meant to be an Ancient Runes lesson! Not Herbology! Herbology sucked. Bleh!

After drawing a rune on a piece of paper he'd cut out ready, Clifford did the whole whispering, blessing, kissing thing. Eh.

He tried again, appealing to the plan he was so afraid of, and with good reason, look what it did to his robes! He drew his rune carefully, and whispered its name and the blessing. He just wanted out of there.

This was indeed rather weird, but to Evangeline, being held down onto her chair and desk by a vine was much, much better than actually losing an arm. Yup. So far, this lesson was being pretty good. As long as the silly plant didnt rip her feet off. Hmm.

After deciding which rune she'd use, Evangeline decided she'd want Baldr to help her. "Hammer in the North, East, South, West, above and below hallow and hold this holy-stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr!" she said before quickly writing the rune she'd chosen on a square piece of paper and kissing it.

Oh. Oh no! It was getting closer to him! Copernicus quickly pulled out another square of paper and traced the image on it before whispering the blessing on it. He was putting his hopes on Tyr this time. Once he was done whispering the blessing, he carefully drew the rune on the tile and kissed it exuberantly. He really REALLY hoped it worked this time!

Miles wriggled at the ivy as it twisted around his legs and around his middle. EEEEP! Nuuuu! He wanted to be free! Only one way to do that then, draw the ruuuune.

He started to cut up his paper and pick up the crayon to scribble down the rune in which he thought was appropriate to let him go. And please, PLEASE hope it did!

William tried not to wiggle like a mad man as the ivy tried eating him up. He knew it couldn't hurt him and it was very much fun to have something try to swallow him up. He felt around for a piece of paper, cutting it into a weird hexagonal shape and lightly drew a rune onto it, chanting the blessing he knew off by heart. This was his favorite rune to use, often drawing it in the dorm alone. He kissed the Rune in his hand then relaxed as he hoped it would somehow work.

Ana cut a piece of parchment in a diamond shape. Then she drew the rune on the parchment and chanted the name of the rune.

Barry did the whole thing over using a different rune and ended with a little kiss , this was absolutly annoying and he had stuff around his legs that might eat him.

Abby feels the ivy grow tighter around her legs. It slowly works its way up her body covering her chest and tightly winding around her arms. The ivy continues up around her head covering it with a little house. Abby squirms and struggles trying to break free of this non magical menance. She manages to get her hands free, so she can cut another diamond out of the parchment. She writes an easy rune on it. Abby prays to Thor not only to bless her rune, but also break the ivy vines for her. In a strong clear voice she says, "Hammer in the North, East, South, West, above and below hallow and hold this holy-stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr! One more thing Thor would you please break the binds this ivy has on me and return Professor Lupa to her normal self. Amen!" Abby not sure if it's proper to use a Christian ending to a pagan prayer, but she figures it couldn't hut. She finishes by kissing the parchment three times-one for each request.

"Oi!" Paris shouted when the vines started dragging her towards the windows. She tried to wiggle out of its grip but it wasn't letting go. The ivy leaves around Copernicus wilted, but the vines held him firm

He started to cut up his paper and pick up the crayon to scribble down the rune in which he thought was appropriate to let him go. And please, PLEASE hope it did!

The ivy leaves around Abby burst into water and showered her.

Qaz very carefully made another Rune, whispering its name, then blessed it.

'Hammer in the North, East, South, West, above and below hallow and hold this holy-stead! Around me and in me Asgardhr and Midgardhr!'

Qaz then kissed her Rune and hoped for the best.

He focused again, this time on another rune that might serve him better. He drew, he blessed, he kissed.

Of bloody course he kissed. He could use 50 points. Couldn't you?
