Jenn was just about to turn around when all of a sudden a ball came out of no where! Having about no time at all, Jenn did what you do in desperate times. She fell to where she was hanging upside down. "Haha! You missed."Jenn yelled at the girl that had thrown it at her. Then the blood flowed to her brain and she felt dizzy. Quickly getting upright she smiled as the world spinned and she saw piggmy puffs roll around.

Jenn covered her mouth as she burst out laughing. "Sorry Tobi! I meant somewhere else! Just think! You'll be so used to having your bum hit, you won't even feel it when something hits you there!"she said, chuckling. "I really am sorry!!"she said, but she couldn't help but keep on laughing.

For the most part, Dominic was usually ecstatic about Flying period. And now they were playing dodgeball, in the air, which in most cases should have been super exciting way to get rid of the lunchtime energy rush. Vaguely, Willow thought he heard Vindictus shouting something that sounding like he was. . . cheering on her. Good. But that it was not time to be all smug about that--she had a goal. And it was getting one of those balls.

. . . Was it just her or everyone was aiming at Tobi? "HEY! There are OTHER Gryffindors." And Hufflepuffs, too, she added mentally, "Don't focus in just one." Shaking her head and thinking that if they aimed another ball at Tobi she would go and grab and use it to hit someone else, Willow continued to zone around the place, looking for another ball--and what was that? Something yellow, someone that look rather familiar. . .

"Not again!" Growled Willow under her breath, as she saw Dominic coming closer to him, rememebering last term's championship. Not allowing herself to think about -if she did, there was a huge chance she would not end up doing it- the girl quickly stirred to the right, and flew past the boy, that, in her opinion, seemed completely distracted. "I will get you, Dominic Denton!" Riiiight.

Still feeling a bit startled, Willow looked to her left just in time to see Tobi sending her one big ball at her direction. Nevermind about not throwing more balls at him. . . the kid wanted to take her down! Pursing her lips, Willow caught the ball before it could hit her, and thinking that this was the only chance she would most likely get to back at Pretty Boy Denton, the girl threw it straight him, before getting as far as she could from him.

"Natur--GOODWIN! You are back!" ordered the girl yelling, not even looking at Juniper as she did so. Surely she would know it was her.

Sitting down on the grass, still waiting to be called back up, Liz waits.

Tobi went and sat with Liz. "I think I'm the one who put you here, so the least I can do is apologize. Sorry, 'bout that." he put out his hand to shake, "I'm Tobi, oh excuse me a moment."

He turned and yelled up at Dominic, "LOOK OUT DOMINIC, We need every man - er- PLAYER we can get!!!"

Smiling at Toby, she says "Nah, it's ok. This is an awesome game, I'm glad I was able to play at least for awhile."

"It's also nice knowing things, like that...ouch!" Liz says pointing to someone getting bumped out of the way, "are not happening to me right now." smiling even more.

Why couldn't Ravenclaws and Slytherins catch the balls, for Merlin's sake? Well, for her sake actually. Juniper was horrible at standing still when others were flying above her. The fourth year winced as Kovac collided with the Hufflepuff prefect. That looked painful. Hopefully the older girl could still catch a dodgeball, though. That was her job, right?

YES!

Juniper pumped her fist victoriously and mounted her broom, kicking off the ground quickly and flying up to join her teammates. "Thaaank you, Kovac!" Juniper shouted to her captain as she flew around, keeping an eye out for dodgeballs to either dodge or catch.

Vindictus happened to glance at his watch and his eyes widened. Time was almost up. "GET LIZ IN! TAKE OUT DENTON! VICTORY IS ON THE LINE!" he shouted and pulled out his whistle.

Right. Denton was the Hufflepuff prefect who had just collided or almost collided with anti-nature girl. And Willow had just hurled a ball in his direction. But he would see it coming and dodge it, Juniper was certain. They had to distract him!

"Becca, let's get the Hufflepuff prefect!" Juniper shouted at her friend. Taking a deep breath, the girl made sure her path to divebomb him would be clear. It was.

Now or never.

Juniper did not even bother to glance to see if Becca was going to help her distract the boy. She just began to race toward him, trying her hardest to get his attention. How did she do so? Well, first she let out a warcry. She was getting pretty good at those. Then, on impulse, she began shouting at him.

"DENTON! You have pretty haaiiirrrrr! But not for long--ARRRGGGH!!!"

Not that she actually cared about his hair. In fact, she doubted it was pretty at all. But that would surely get his attention. She continued her divebombing, and really hoped that the prefect would not notice Willow's dodgeball.

The Gryffiepuffs were NOT going to lose. "Let's get them guys!" Agie called, flying into the centre of the field. She caught a ball and threw it hard at Juniper's back. "Ha! Take that." She called, not waiting to see if it hit, before she caught another ball.

Becca, hearing orders called out to her, followed Juniper without hesitation. "Aye aye, captain!" She gradually increased in speed, careful to glance around for potential dodgeballs flying in her path. "Yo Mister Huff-n-puff prefect! Look over here! It's the Quidditch Cup that you'll never get!" She snorted to herself and zipped right past him a few moments later, sure her close encounter would disorient him at least long enough for someone to surprise him. She felt no guilt.

"Yeah it is nice to not get hit in the bum all the time," Tobi had to agree, "I don't know what it is, some kind of magnetic attraction or something?" Tobi suggested.

"Don't forget about meeee!" Tobi howled from the ground. Watching Agie, Dominic, Paris, Lyra, and others Dodge, but no catches were happening.

With the game almost over, Liz figures she's done. The only Raven left on the ground...

Lyra nodded her head and stood on the sidelines waiting for the action to begin again.

She playfully growled at Robert then began giggling again. If anything, she needed to stop laughing, but she was having way to much fun to stop doing that.

"EEEEEKKKKKKKK!" She began brushing her hands through her hair as fast as she could. Darnit! She needed to pin the hair back. OH YES! Something she completely forgot about, she pulled her wand out from her robes, twisted her hair around the stick and then, magically, her hair was being held up by her wand.

Her eyes flashed up to the Gryffindor and..yes! She began to giggle once more. Now that gave her even more confidence.

"WOOOOT! Go Dominic!!!" she yelled from the sidelines until.....

"WOOOTTT! Thanks Tobi!!!!!!" Lyra was back in the game and she zoomed back up in the air with a twist on her broom. But she had to watch herself, just because she was back, didn't mean that she wouldn't get hit by a flying ball.

TWEEEEEEEET!

Just as the sound of the whistle pierced the air, Vindictus pulled out his wand and the two red balls exploded into a thousand pieces that floated down to the grass of the Pitch.


"Game over!" he called out and grinned. His team had won.

"Who won? Who won?" Tobi asked frantically, kicking off from the ground and rising to meet the players, "do I get an honourable mention because I got hit in the bum THREE times? Because girls are WEIRD I tell you. It's because GIRLS ARE WEIRD!!"

Dominic cringed at the thought of another broom accident. His last one had broken in the same way, except during the championship game, and there was no way he could get to London if this one broke before the games even started. But then, Willow seemed to have been paying more attention as she swerved away from him, leaving his path free and clear for him to pull out of what could have been a fatal experience.

"Over my dead body, Willow Kovac!" The fifth year called back to her, as he did a one-eighty and searched the pitch for that ball and/or some Gryffinpuffs. But his response was a tad belated as his golden eyes scanned for some familiarity and safety on the pitch. In his searching though, he had failed to notice something being tossed at him -- the thing that he had been searching for managed to get tossed just right and with his change in direction, bounded off his foot!

Glaring down for the culprit, Dominic then heard Vindictus bellowing to take him out!? Oh so apparently the Flying Professor thought he had a high chance to take victory out from his house . . . . well, he was quite correct on that one. Dominic Denton would do anything in his power to ensure a win for his side; even if this was just a "fun" game.

Before he could put his plan into effect though, someone was calling for him about his hair!? "Yes, I know I do," he tossed it briefly in the air. "It's called shampoo... you should invest in some!" The fifth year called towards the hair admirer, Juniper.

Though it wasn't Juniper's comment that got to him so much as another Ravenclaw girl, whom he didn't know too well (Becca). Blinking though about her quidditch cup comment, he sighed. That was just harsh! Ugh, not even worth answering, Dominic turned a blind eye to her and dove for that ball that had bounded towards the ground . . . those claws were going to get it, if it were the last thing he did!

And of course, as he was going towards the red balls, he heard the sound of the whistle and a loud explosion. Game over!? Already?! Well this was just . . . unfair!!

The game was over, awww. It was just getting good! Agie flew over to where Tobi was and asked the same question. "Yeah, who won?"

Vindictus looked at the three on the ground with him. It was obvious in his mind who won. "Slytherclaw is victorious! Can I have a hiss and a hoot from the winning team? Fangs and claws, yeah baby yeah!"

Jumping up Liz whoops! "Yeah!"

Tobi rolled his eyes, only a little, "hiss, hoot," he said dully. Good sportsmanship is as important as skill, but blast it all!

"Oh, come on! More excitement is needed!" Vindictus grinned and a box appeared by his feet. "I have a gift for all of you - autographed pictures of me!"

"A little excited there," Lyra giggled at the professor as she brought her broom down to the ground and propped up her broom to lean on it. "Good game to everyone." She then turned to Tobi and had to ask. "Tobi, are you on the quidditch team?"
And then..."I know just where to put that picture," Lyra snickered then looked to Agie.

Autographed pictures of him? Okay... Walking over to Professor Vindictus, she gives him a smile, and says "Good Game!"

At the sound of a whistle, Juniper braked sharply. So sharply, in fact, that she nearly flew off her broom. Cursing herself for not holding on tightly enough, Juniper regained her bearings and slowly circled toward the ground. She and Becca had almost distracted Dominic long enough for him to get hit. She was certain that he would have gotten hit in the next two minutes and thirty-six seconds. He had it coming to him.

Her team had won! Juniper gave a cheer. Her warcries and sacrifice had paid off, it seemed! And autographed pictures? Even better! "Hooray for the Slytherins and Ravenclaws!" the fourth year shouted happily.

But really. Had Denton thought she was serious about him having pretty hair? Because she had not been. And shampoo did not make hair pretty. But if Dominic thought so... that was his problem. And she might as well contribute to it.

"Professor, I think Dominic Denton should get MVP because of his pretty hair's dodging powers," the fourth year said as seriously as she could, carefully gazing at the grass.

"How did they win?" Agie pouted. And she was not giving them a hiss or a hoot. There was no way she'd be giving them a hiss or a hoot. "No thanks. I prefer roaring..... Rawrrrrr." She snickers.

Autographed pictures of Max? "Why would we want th..." Agie started to say. "Oh, professor V, I'd love an autograph!" Agie pulled out a piece of parchment from her pocket and flew right next to him. "Sign please?" She asked sweetly, with pure innocence.

Agie looked at Lyra and had a huge smile on her face, she triend not to snicker, but she couls feel the giggles coming.
