"What in Merlin's name?!!?" Anna called out, glaring at the two Ravenclaws who'd gained in on her. You just wait. I'll get you...and your little housemates, too... At the sound of Juniper Goodwin's bloodcurdling war cry, Anna sat up straight and tall on her broom, preparing herself for the angered, determined Ravenclaw that was currently flying right at her. Anna needed a ball---right now. If she could just get her hands on one, she'd slaughter one of the many opponents currently trying to "distract and attack" her. Was she the only Gryffindor or Hufflepuff around? Couldn't they go swarm around someone else? That was when Anna noticed a third Ravenclaw chunking a ball in her direction. "Oh, forget it!" Anna yelled, holding her right arm up in a half mock-surrender pose. She was just going to let the blasted ball hit her...that way she could return to the nice, calm ground and take a much needed break. Anna closed her eyes, preparing for the ball to clobber her right in the face or something. A good many seconds later, when the ball still had yet to clobber her, Anna slowly opened her eyes and stared in disbelief at the ball tucked neatly in her arm. She'd caught the ball? How'd that happen? Could it be that after all those years of playing keeper for Gryffindor she'd developed a habit of catching the ball by pure instinct? Ahh, well. No time for analyzing. She had a Ravenclaw to hit. Anna growled lightly and then chunked the ball right at Juniper Goodwin, the girl who'd started the ambush in the first place.

Juniper pulled away from her direct flightpath at Anna barely a moment before she would have collided with the girl. Oops, she had meant to pull out before then. Juniper did not bother to look to see if Anna had gotten hit with a ball. She was far more interested in the ball that flew past a Slytherin girl (Reese). Mouth firmly shut to avoid eating any stray bugs, Juniper raced to grab the dodgeball that had missed Reese. Now. Who should she hit?

Juniper spotted the Hufflepuff captain. Simply throwing it at her would not work. It had not worked on many other people, but it definitely would not work on someone as good at Quidditch as that girl probably was. Juniper bit her lip and made a quick decision.

Flying at Kaika, Juniper could not help but let out another warcry. It made her feel less guilty for divebombing older students. When she was flying rather quickly and gaining on the Hufflepuff captain, Juniper hurled the ball at the girl. Pulling out of her dive, Juniper slowed down enough to watch and see if the ball would hit the girl.

Juniper was so intent on her attack of the Hufflepuff that she did not see the ball coming from Anna, and it hit her squarely in the knee. Knocked off balance, Juniper rolled over on her broom. Hmph. Well, at least she had thrown the ball at the Hufflepuff before becoming a casualty. Still, the Ravenclaw could not help but pout slightly as she flew back to the ground and landed.

Jenn couldn't believe it! Right when she had thought they had finally gotton the lioness out, and with the ball she had thrown, the prefect caught it! And she hadn't even tried to! She had simply closed her eyes and was about to admit defeat it seemed, and she had caught it anyway! "Wha-tha-GRR!"Jenn exclaimed, glaring daggers at the prefect. It wasn't that she wasn't impressed, she was really impressed, just very, VERY, frustrated! That was, (counts on fingers) the fifth million time Jenn had tried to get Anna out. Well that was it, it meant war. Jenn was offically going to get her out, even if she had to die (not literly) to do it. Or even break a bone....or two....or three....anyway!

Mariel stared in disbelief at Miss Gryffie Prefect she didn't know her name as she managed to evade the Ravenclaw attack. Regaining her composure, she spun around and grabbed one of the balls that she managed to dodge and whipped it right at Anna just as she threw the ball at Juniper. She couldn't possibly dodge a ball at the same time she was throwing one, could she?

"Woot!" Tobi flew back into the game, "Thanks Kaika! The name is Tobi, by the way." he ofcourse knew her name because he obsessively knew the names of all the Quidditch captains.

And he sure wished Alexis were there right now. Paris, Allie, Jillian and Winnie wouldn't hurt things either.

No time to worry about that, time to get Cale back in the game, he sped around the pitch not wanting to stay in one place too long, and he definitely needed to spot a ball to catch.

Jenn grinned. "Time to get someone out.....and not Anna, for now."she muttered, giggling. Grabing an on coming ball, she chucked it at the kinda annoying Gryffindor boy, Tobi. Crossing her fingers again, and hoping with all her lucky gallons that it hit him. (Perferbly on the head)

If Juniper would've kept quiet, then Kaika might not have noticed the fourth year coming right at her.

But she was somehow better than the others. That was all she could think of. And she was fast. Too bad she was a Ravvie, actually, too bad on the Huffies that she was so fast, but they could take her.

And Kaika could grab the ball. Which was something she did, "Ha!" she said as Juniper was taken out of the game and then Kaika looked at her next target....and, of course, there was that girl that took her out (Jenn), and the ball was released with more strength than before...

Tobi made a one handed catch of Jenn's head shot.

"Hey!" he yelled. "Is that good sportsmanship?" He looped around and came up to REESE from behind hurled the ball at her back, hoping if he hit her that it didn't hurt too much.

He didn't stick around to find out, instead he sped toward the stands, "I caught one! You're back in Cale!"

"LYRA! YOUR HAIR IS A MESS AND A BUG JUST HIT YOUR SHOE!" Vindictus hollered. Hopefully his team of ravenous Slytherclaws would take out the Gryffinpuffs.

Reese kept her eyes on Anna,who just threw a ball at Juniper.Great.Her team was narrowing down.She quickly glanced around for a ball.Where was one?Grrrr.She circled around the statium,her eyes scanning her surrounds.She needed a ball!

BAM.

Reese felt a ball hit her back.She turned around and noticed Tobi had hit her.Yup.She was out of the game now.She smiled at Tobi then lowered her self to the ground.

Oh. Whoa. So wait...she'd caught the ball without even intending to, and then she'd thrown the ball at Juniper and actually hit the Ravenclaw girl? Merlin was so on her side right now! At least someone was on her side, though, even if if it was just in a "technically speaking" sort of way. It seemed that most other Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs were either already out, or they'd retreated to an entirely different area of the pitch. "Sorry, Juni!" Anna called out, zooming forward to make sure her friend's knee was alright. It was a good thing she'd moved, too. One of the other Ravenclaws, one who'd been a part of the ambush earlier, had tossed a second ball right at her. Had she not moved, it would have hit her! Anna blinked, startled at another near-hit, and then zoomed off down the pitch.

Jenn was about to turn around when all of sudden a ball came whizzing toward her. Should she catch it or dodge it? Um, hm, maybe, no, oh what the heck. Quickly sticking her hands out, she caught the ball. Giggling at actually catching a ball, she yelled down to the stands. "Who ever is next up in line on the Slytherclaws you better get your butt up here!"she yelled grinning at Kaika. "You only thought you could get me!"she said, chucking the ball back at Kaika.

Jenn shrugged at Tobi's question. "I don't know. I'm only following the rules. Like a good student."she said, giggling.

SHE AIMED FOR HER FACEEEEEEEEEE! YOU DON'T AIM FOR THE FACE! Lyra grabbed the top of her broom and twirled it around so that the ball missed her. NO ONE was going to aim for the face! She needed that face!

"I'M GOING TO GET YOU VINDICTUS IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO," she yelled at the top of her lungs then stopped in mid air. She was in search of a ball, any ball because that ball has MAX's name written alllllll over it.

Copernicus spurted forward and grabbed up the ball that had just missed Anna. Glancing around, he waited for the right person to look... distracted or something. Tobi. That kid was fierce, and Copernicus lobbed his ball as hard as possible toward the boy's midsection.

"CALL HER BACK IN! YOU CAUGHT IT!" Vindictus shouted.

Cale grinned as Tobi caught a ball. Yes! "Thanks!" he called as he soared back into the game. Hmmm, who should be pick out next? Reese was already down darn so instead he aimed at the Ravvie girl (Jenn) flying nearby, taking aim at her arm and hoping she would get out so they could finish this game already.

Qaz made another dive, buzzing a couple of Griffies. Hopefully, it would provide enough distraction...then she headed back up to wait for her next opportunity.

"BALL!" Lyra flew down as quickly as she could and scooped up a ball in her hands. She was after...whoever at the moment. Her eyes scanned back and forth as she found QAZ.

And this girl (Jenn) was going to last if not one single ball was going to hit her.

Kaika only chuckled at the words the girl spoke, and suddenly a ball was coming her way. And she was going to catch the ball, but didn't have enough time to do that, so, she dodged instead, flying away from it.

Jenn was paying so close attention to the ball she had just thrown at Kaika that she barly heard the sound of a ball flying it's way at her. Turning slightly, her eyes widdened and she tried dodging it, only to grazed slightly on the arm by it. Looking around angirly tp pin-point the person who had thrown it at her, her eyes narrowed slightly as she glared at the boy prefect. Flying down to the stands, she huffed slightly. "Get CALE out! Get him out! Or catch a ball!!"she yelled, wanting dearly to get back into the action. Apparintly merlin's lost pinky toe, and the lucky gallons weren't with her right now. She sighed as she waited to get back in.

Lyra flew up and caught the ball that missed the Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain as she was in the mood to chase Vindictus this time but she didn't know if it was time just yet. She then decided to go for another Ravie and once again, she picked Copernicus. She reached back with her arm and aimed right for his side.

There is a ball coming! There is ball coming!! The Kettleburn kid! What did I ever do to him?

Tobi stopped short, veered a little and scooped the ball out of the air.

"Haha! You have to get up earlier than that to best Tobi Av-ACK! Lyraa!" Tobi had to dive suddenly to avoid crashing into his Gryffinpuff Teammate.

Tobi shot back up in the air, and came up about 4 feet behind RIAN, he fired a his hard won ball at her back. Sneaky Sneaky.

Ohmigosh, Cale had gotten her out! He had gotten someone out. Now that he had a newfound sense of importance in this game, he grabbed another ball. Lyra was going nuts along the pitch, and she was on his team! WOOO! Who else was there to get? He looked over and saw that one girl he had partnered with in charms, Mariel, and took aim before firing at the Ravenclaw.

Jenn watched with her chin resting on her palms, while her arms rested on her knees, and her broom rested on her lap. (Now that's a lot of resting) She sighed, then she raised her head and her eyes widdened. "LOOK OUT RIAN, COPERNICUS, AND MARIEL. DOGDE AND WEAVE! JUST DOGDE AND WEAVE!"she screamed, not wanting either one of them to get out. (Cause she wanted to get back in).

Robert flew around the pitch watching the ball fly back and forth with a smirk on his face. His eyes found Lyra as he heard Vindictus shout and he grinned as she threw the ball at one of his house mates. Flying over to her he smirked, "Come on I know you can throw better then that!" With a wink he sped off and waited for her inevitable retaliation.
