Intermediate Flying Class The Quidditch Stadium has been unlocked for the exclusive use of the Intermediate Flying Class. The only students allowed in here are those second year and older. Any first years will be tossed out. |
Qaz hurried out to the stadium eager to get in the air. |
Nancy cheerfully walked out of the Spare Locker Room with her broom tightly clutched in her hands to wander down to the Quidditch Stadium. Wee! Finally they were going to fly! She stopped as soon as she'd reached her destination before turning around to see where the others, especially Mariel, were and especially when the professor was going to allow them to take off. |
Cale walked out onto the pitch, broom in hand and practically bouncing with excitement. Today looked like a rather nice day for flying, and he had his new broom with him...yes, this lesson was going to be a success, he could feel it in his gut. He stood off to the side and polished the handle with his sleeve cuff as he waited for Vindictus to give them orders to fly. |
Excited to be flying again, for a class and for fun. Not just quidditch, Liz runs out into the stadium, with her sturdy firebolt in her hand. |
"Well, what are you waiting for? Everyone take off and get some warm-up laps in!" Vindictus called out as he entered the stadium. |
Bounding out onto the pitch, Terry fought hard to stand still in one place. His feet resumed bouncing about in excitement and he swiftly stood his broomstick to his side, waiting for their orders to soar into the sky. ......and there they came. Swinging a leg over the handle, left hand firmly wrapped around the shiny wood before his left, he kicked gently off the ground. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. He continued to hover above the ground for several moment then whizzed off higher into the air to warm up. |
Vanessa walked out onto the pitch, carrying her broom in her right hand. She was looking forward to flying again. Standing by her fellow students the mdiget hufflepuff waited for furthur instructions. After Professor Vindictus had given them the instructions, Vanessa moved a few steps away from the other students, and took off on her broom. She hovered in the air a little, to see how the wind was, before doing a few warm up laps. |
She skipped out of the locker room toward the stadium with her broom tucked under harm still in its case. She hadn't been on a broom in a long time and this was going to fun. She stepped out into the stadium, and it took her breathe away. It was awesome and she would be playing there in a few weeks as the new Seeker for her house. She walked around taking in the prefect flying weather. Thats all she needed to hear. She quickly pulled out her pale pink broom. She ran her hands over the initials on the handle as she let go of the broom. It hovered at the perfect height for her to mount it. She swung her leg over the broom and kicked off gently from the ground and took some time climbing to a nice cruising height. |
Reese walked down to the stadium, holding her broom with her left hand. She noticed Cale polishing his broom with his sleeve and she smiled. For some reason,it always seemed Cale wanted every little thing to be perfect.Even his hair. She slighlty rolled her eyes and walked over to the side of the stadium. She saw the Professor walk in and smiled when he said they could make a few laps. She put her goggles on and then got on her broom. It felt good to be back on a broom, again. She floated into the air and zoomed off. |
Qaz mounted her broom and kicked off. She hadn't been in the air since Quidditch tryouts. She loved soaring through the air. |
Cale grinned. Warm up time! He mounted his broom and slowly took off, remembering that this broom took off faster than his old one and he didn't need to go crashing into another tree today. He lifted himself off the ground and did a few laps around the pitch like Vindictus instructed them to do, flying at a nice steady pace as he admired the nice weather they were having today. |
Mariel walked out onto the pitch still clutching her broom and stood next to Nancy. Her eyes darted around as the other students filed in and they landed on the professor, anxious to see when he'd give them the ok to get in the air. She glanced back at Nancy and gave her a small grin as she wondered what Vindictus had in store for the lesson and if she could possibly relate to Quidditch in anyway - other than the obvious flying part of course. Finally he gave them the go-ahead and Mariel threw one leg over her broom and took off, climbing higher into the air. |
Well, what are you waiting for? Haha, very funny. On the professor's permission to take off of course. Shaking her head slightly Nancy gave Mariel a grin before mounting her broom with a huge beam plastered across her face. After the third year had inhaled deeply once she pushed herself off the ground and immediately accelerated until she was high above the ground. It was just such an amazing feeling when the wind was swishing through her hair as Nancy started to fly around the Quidditch Stadium. |
"We're going to practice some control on our broomsticks before we get to the fun part of the lesson," Vindictus called out as the students zoomed overhead. "When you hear my whistle I want you to stop on your broomstick and then take off in the opposite direction." |
Maddox silently walked into class. Professor Vindictus had taken to many points from him in past classes for talking, and he didnt want to get more points taken from him this term. 5 was enough. He silently found a spot to sti and sat down waiting for class to begin. Quote:
Maddox grabbed his broom and waited for the professor to blow his whistle. He was exited to finally be back on a broom after a summer of nothingness. |
FLYyyyyyinnnnng! With his sporty new goggles affixed firmly to his face, his blond curls sticking out even more oddly, and his grey green eyes magnified by the goggles, Tobi really did look like a flying insect as he mounted his broom and kicked off from the ground. *zoooom!* His new Silver Arrow was his pride and joy and he was almost used to it. As such he shot across the pitch once before getting proper control and doing the assigned warm up laps. He dimly heard Professor V's instructions so he braced himself for the sound of the whistle, hoping he could turn fast enough. |
As she leveled off, Mariel leaned forward to accelerate slightly as she caught sight of Nancy ahead of her. She leaned forward even more to go a bit faster, leaning to the side as well as she rounded the end of the pitch. Mariel wondered momentarily if she'd be allowed to practice flying one-handed as that was a skill she'd need to catch quaffles. Well, she certainly wasn't going to do that without permission. She didn't need to lose the points she had just earned and would just die if her head of house yelled at her. The Ravenclaw girl decided to ask once she saw Vindictus in the air, although she was fairly certain he'd tell her that that was why the team held practices. Catching up to Nancy, Mariel sat back slightly to fly alongside her for a bit until they were given specific instructions on what to do next. |
Theo frowned as he flew in the air. He couldn't switch direction that quickly. |
Nancy zoomed through the air with her beam still plastered across her face next to Mariel who seemed just as excited as herself as she suddenly heard Professor Vindictus' voice coming from below her. Immediately stopping her broom until she was only hovering in the air the third year nodded at the professor's instruction before taking off again, this time a little more slowly to be able to stop her broomstick as soon as the professor was going to blow his whistle. |
TWEEEET! The shrill sound of the whistle pierced through the air and Vindictus chuckled at the reactions overhead. |
Jenn zipped around, with everyone else, grinning and doing what the professor had told them to do, as she flew around the arena. She waved quickly as she passed Mariel, who was flying with someone, then flew again, just enjoying having the wind fly around her and make her long hair whip out behind her like a long dark cape. Then when she heard the whistle, she quickly turned and went the other way, her eyes wide because she had just about fallen off from the startle of hearing the whistle. |
Theo tried to pull to a stop to switch direction. He must've pulled a little too hard, because his broom flicked upwards, and he was stuck dangling underneath it. He whimpered slightly unsure of how to get back up on his broom. He didn't know how long he could stay there. |
And just a few seconds after Nancy'd accelerated again she heard Professor Vindictus blowing his whistle which meant only one thing: Stop and take off into the opposite direction. Which wasn't exactly as easy as it sounded. The third year immediately leaned back on her broom to decelerate until she'd almost come to a standstill before whirling her broomstick around to head off into the opposite direction. Well, almost opposite direction but whatever, she hadn't done too bad. She wasn't, for instance, dangling underneath her broom as her fellow teammate Theo currently was. |
Kayla had been happily flying through the air at a leisurely pace when she heard the Professor's whistle and she immediately pulled up on her handle and swerved to the right doing a complete about face and headed back into the opposite direction. |
As she heard the sound of the whistle sound underneath her, Vanessa pulled at her broom to get it to slow down, so that she could change direction, this would probably have been easier if she was a little bigger. After a few seconds, or maybe minutes more like she was able to change the direction the broom was heading, and zoomed of in that direction. |
Quote:
He found himself almost directly in the face of Maddox with 10 feet to go before a collision. on a racing broom, that is a BAD thing! AAAH! He swerved! He avoided! Phew! |
Maddox was zooming through the air on his Firebolt 500. It was the best thing ever in existance of brooms! When he heard the professor's whistle he halted his broom, which stopped perfectly in mid air, then whipped around and flew in the opposite direction, dodging the other students, and whipping so quickly past them that he was just a blur. |
Cale heard the whistle and stopped so abruptly, he nearly flew off his broom. This broom braked a LOT faster than his previous one! Darn, he couldn't believe he had forgotten to check that when he was practicing at home! Turning as fast as he possibly could without giving himself whiplash, he managed to turn himself around and started heading in the opposite direction. |
Anna didn't need to be told twice that she needed to take off and begin warming up. At the sound of Professor Vindictus' directions, Anna mounted her broom and took off into the air. She began to fly around and around the pitch, trying to warm up the best she could before the next portion of the lesson began. As she continued warming up, Anna listened to Professor Vindictus give additional directions. At the sound of his whistle, the students were to stop, turn around, and take off into the opposite direction. That shouldn't be too difficult to do. Anna continued flying in the direction she'd started out in, all the while waiting and listening for the whistle to blow. Finally, the whistle sounded. Anna immediately pulled back on her broom, causing it to stop in mid-air. She then steered her broom to where it would turn in the opposite direction. Soon enough, she was flying around the pitch in the opposite direction than the one she'd started in. |

"Theo! Quit showing off that Starfish on a Stick move!" Vindictus shouted and brought the whistle to his lips. TWEET! |
Theo tried to turn around to look at the Professor, "Ok. I won't Sir." At least that was better than him falling off. He tried to swing back up the right way, but couldn't, "Erm Professor can you help me? I only have little arms. I can't right myself." |
Mariel had slowed somewhat as she heard the professor's instructions. The last thing she needed was to be startled by a whistle when she was flying 50 feet above the ground, so she flew a bit slower in anticipation. As she listened for it, she saw a figure flying past her and waving. Was that Jenn? She hadn't seen her in ages, but she didn't have time to give it much thought as the young Ravenclaw then heard the shrill whistle. Leaning back and taking use of the braking charm, Mariel came to a complete stop, hovering in the air. Taking a deep breath, she leaned hard to the side, turning in the opposite direction but brushing Nancy's foot with the tail of her broom in the process. "Sorry," she called to the girl next to her, hoping the little bump wouldn't mess the girl up. She sped up slightly as she leaned forward, glancing over her shoulder to make sure Nancy was still alright, then she noticed Vindictus reprimanding a Slytherin boy. Darn, they weren't allowed to practice any Keeper moves. No sooner did she have that thought when she heard the whistle again. Slowing to a stop, she managed to turn her broom without bumping into anyone this time. Although it did help that there was no one next to her. |
Nancy's eyes were fixated on Theo who was still sort of dangerously dangling from his broom while contemplating over whether or not to go help him. Her decision was made by some young Ravenclaw girl who halted next to Theo and immediately called for help, which meant for Nancy that there was no need for her to help the little boy anymore. But gee!, screaming for the professor! It wasn't that bad but whatever. Rolling her eyes Nancy continued to glance at Theo and the girl due to the fact that she wanted to know what they were going to do which resulted in a belated reaction to Professor Vindictus' whistling, though. Eep! As quickly as possibly Nancy drew her attention away from the two and threw her broom around to be able to fly off into the other direction. |

Tobi Stopped. Looked, Where's Theo? Hehehe! There he is! Oh Yikes!!! People coming at me! People coming at me! Tobi turned his broom frantically but over did it. he headed back into the pack of thee students coming at him in something of a haphazard Hawkshead Attacking Formation. EEEE! Tobi dived under the first student, and flew around the second, and over the third. Exhilarating! |
Stopping abruptly once again, but not as hard as the last time, he came to a complete halt when he heard the whistle. He turned once more, a lot smoother than the last time now that he had warmed up, and started flying in the opposite direction once more. This was EASY. Woot! |
As the whistle blew again, Vanessa pulled at her broom handle, hoping to get the broom to stop more faster this time, which would allow her to change directions quicker. Unfortunatly, her lack in height was still against her, and although the duration it took to for the broom to stop was quicker, it still could be improved. After quickly switching directions she zoomed off again. |
The whistle blew again. Maddox stopped, extremely smoothly, and then wizzed off into the opposite direction. If he went any faster he might be considered a rocket. |
Qaz pulled up quick at the sound of the whistle and banked sharply to the left. All of the Quidditch practice was really paying off. She did a fairly good job at manuevering, but decided that it was still wise to try to keep some distance between herself and the others. |
Jenn just shook her head and jumped back onto her broom and flew in the direction everyone else was flying. Her thoughts where on other things and she almost bumbed into the female gryffindor prefect. More like perfect. Jenn thought, smiling slightly. "Sorry about that!"she yelled as she passed the prefect she almost ran into. |
Hearing the whistle, Terry braked to a momentary pause, hastily checking around him that there WASN'T another student right behind him. How painful would a faceplant right into another student be? Eh, he didn't even want to think about it. WOOT. All paths clear. Flicking his wrists, he spun around in the air, then continued zooming along in the opposite direction. |
After getting on her broom, she takes off. After doing a lap around the stadium, she hears a sharp whistle, and turns around to start flying the opposite direction around the stadium. |
She changed directions so fast it made her wobble little bit on her broom and she gripped her handle tighter. "Come on Greenwood." She chided her self. She was a little rusty on a the broom. She was used to riding carpets. She put on some more speed as she zoomed around Cale and Tobi. |
TWEEEEEEEET! Vindictus blew the whistle again. |
Half way through the 2nd lap around, Liz hears another whistle. Doing a quick turn she zooms off again. |
Jenn groaned slightly as she heard the whistle again. Turning around quickly on her broom she turned in the other direction, luckly missing other students. She grumbled silently to herself. When where they doing other stuff? she wondered. I mean going around in circles is very fun, and dogding other students like bludgers is even better but....she trailed off from her thoughts as she dodged another student who hadn't turned yet. |
Gritting her teeth Nancy frowned slightly at her last turn which had been reaaaallly late due to her not concentrating properly. But next time was going to be loads better! Duh. And there was the whistle again! With a determined look on her face the third year threw her broom around, trying to make it just perfect this time, apparently without decerating enough, though, which resulted in her losing control over her broom. "Whoaaaa!" She shouted as she gripped the broom even tighter in one last desperate try to regain control over where she was going, without much success, though. Nancy quickly closed her eyes as she saw a figure coming closer and closer and rapid speed which was definitely going to collide with her. Help!!! |
Qaz heard the whistle blow and pulled up hard. This time she made her turn to the right. She still wasn't going extremely fast, but fast enough to know that she'd do herself serious injury if her hands slipped. |
Vanessa smirked to herself as she heard the whistle blow again, she was determined this time, to change direction quicker. Leaning in closer to her broom, she pulled on the handle, successfully slowing down the broom to a pace where she was able to switch around direction. Smiling triumphantly, she quickly zoomed off, in the new direction. She quite liked this exercise, it would make her reflexes quicker for quidditch. |

This train of thought referred to how Tobi actually managed to stop cleanly when Professor V. whistled. (Go him) His time Flying was mellowing the high strung Gryffie right out. With a little pressure, he turned his broom to face the way from which he came, and set off again. Kayla was coming up on him so he made a wide veer around her. No sweat. |
Marcus felt the rush as he kicked off, his feet leaving the ground. He zoomed away, happily laughing with joy. This was wonderful. He hadn't been able to fly since the middle of summer since grounded included no flying. After flying around for a few minutes, just remembering the rush and the wonderful feeling, Marcus stopped in mid-air and curiously watched the other flyers. No one he knew, too bad. He heard a whistle and saw that some students were starting to fly the other way around. A bit curious yet somewhat confused he followed their example. |
Maddox quickly stopped his broom. A little to quickly this time. He almost fell off. Once he was stable again, and decided he should slow down a bit, he flipped his broom into the opposite direction, and dodged all the other students. Flying helped him think, and these drills were fun. |

TWEEEEEEET! A chuckle escaped from Vindictus. This is so much more theraputic after dealing with those idiotic Hufflepuff and Gryffindor first years. |
Stopping midair, Liz turns a nice sweep to her left, and takes off, to round the stadium again. |
As she was zooming along in one direction, Vanessa was ready for the next change of direction, so when she heard the whistle, the petite hufflepuff pulled on her broom again. Maybe she pulled it a little too hard this time, for she went rolling over before coming to stop. Well wasn't that exciting. After catching her breath back, she changed direction before zooming off again, this time being little more careful. |
Jenn glanced at the girl again. Then she heard the lovely whistle again, and turned to go the other way, flying up next to the girl she had almost ran into. |
Quote:
He did a quick turn and started off in opposite direction. The turning at least was getting to be no problem. maybe he could do something more cool to change direction next time. |

The third year gripped her broomstick tightly with both hands before pulling it upwards as hard as she could until she'd somehow managed to almost come to a standstill. Now it was time to change direction! The determined look returning to her face she smoothly whirled her broom around until it pointed straight at the opposite direction before zooming off into that direction. Hah! Who'd said she couldn't do this?! She still didn't know who'd just so perfectly dodged her but whatever. |
Hannah Leigh smiled at the annoying whistle. It was going to be squeaking for a long time. She decided to make this turn a bit more interesting. She turned upside down and switched sides. She smirked and brushed the dark hair out of her face. She looked around for anyone she knew, and saw... Marcus. She flew up to him as quickly as possible. "Hey Marcus! What's up?" |
Maddox stopped with a bit more ease then the last time. He grinned at the amazing abilities his broom had. Once he was completly stopped, he then turned in the opposite direction, racing around the pitch again. |
For all his fancy book learning, Copernicus wasn't super skilled on his broom. His laps had gone well enough, but this turning on a dime stuff was way beyond his skill level. Merlin, this was sort of embarrassing! He felt like one of those big Muggle buses trying to turn a corner, and if the words "three point turn" had meant anything to him... that would have been appropriate. Each time the whistle blew, he worked harder to turn and it DID seem to be getting better each time. A bit. |
Qaz was going faster this time, so when she heard the whistle and tried to pull up, she slid forward and started tilting to the right. She corrected by tilting forward enough to get her balance back, the pulled up to a stop. After rearranging her grip, she turned to the left and picked up speed again. |

"Good, good!" Vindictus called out. "When you hear my next whistle, I want you to stop in mid-air, hover and listen!" |
This was awesome! Finally she could be let loose on a broom. Too bad there wasn't an advanced class. She was a seeker. Ha! She already had control. She was not complaining however. She was flying, finally! Agie raced around the arena, she heard the whistle and easily changed directions. She lowered herself on the broom so she could go as fast as possible. |
Cale grinned as he heard Vindictus blow the whistle again, and he stopped easily this time and turned almost effortlessly. All he had needed was to loosen up a little, he thought to himself. He sped off in the opposite direction, ears listening intently for another whistle or instruction from Vindictus. |
At the sound of the whistle, Anna once again pulled back on her broom. As soon as she'd stopped, Anna steered thr broom until she was facing the exact opposite direction. She then took off, soaring around and around the pitch while enjoying the fairly nice weather. As the wind blew through her hair, Anna briefly wondered what Professor Vindictus had in store for them next. They sure were doing quite a bit of warming up. Her mind wandered back to the Flying final exam she'd taken last school year. That single exam had turned out to be one of the most exciting classes she'd ever attended. Hopefully this lesson would prove to be just as fun. Anna continue to listen carefully for the sound of the whistle blowing, the cue that would tell her to once again change the direction she was currently flying in. |
Listening to what the professor said, she nods and turns the other way for the last lap. |
Ah, hovering. Tobi wondered how well that would work on his new broom. Mind over matter though, if he could protect himself from Professor Kazimeriz, he could hover a racing broom. Tobi continued his laps, listening for the whistle. |
Copernicus lifted his hand and gave a jerky half-wave to Jenn before holding on for dear life again. He turned at the whistle, feeling... less ashamed about this latest turn and listened for the next whistle. |
Jenn grinned at what the proffessor had said. So stop the next time and listen? So that meant they where going to start doing something besides warming up then, right? Jenn thought excitedly. With that she turned quickly around and started going around the other way, leaning down so that she would go faster. She was a black, brown, and blue blur as she zoomed around, dodging students. Smiling happily when she saw Copernicus wave, she waved back again, watching him turn around. He did pretty good, and Jenn was almost impressed. Chuckling slightly, she went back to zooming around the stadium, her hair flying out behind her. |
Maddox heard the professor's instructions, and decided that since this was his last lap he was going to go all out. He hugged his body so close to the broom, that even a piece of parchment couldnt get between them. This action made his broom go so extremely fast that he flashed past everyone, and he sounded like a jet flying through the air. His grin was so huge, it was hurting his face. |
Vindictus had disappeared for a few minutes and returned to the pitch carrying two medium sized red balls. Satisfied that the class was warmed up, he blew the whistle. TWEET! "Today, we're playing a game. A game that will help you fine-tune your flying instincts. If you can dodge a Quaffle and a Bludger or even a person flying directly at you, then you can handle this game - Flying Dodgeball." He grinned and held up the two red balls. "Who here has ever played the Muggle game of Dodgeball? If you have, please share the rules with the class." |
Stopping midair, she looks toward the professor. Smiling she remembered some of the quidditch practices last year with the dodgeballs. |
Agie was going soo fast that most people may have crashed, or not been able to stop. Hover she managed it, with a smug smile on her face too. While she was hovering, she turned her attention to Professor V. Agie raised her hand. "You have to, dodge the balls and not get hit. You play with two teams and you cant cross the dividing line of your team. If you get hit, you are out and if someone catches a ball you have thrown, you are also out. And no hitting someone in the head, because you will also be out for that round." |
Copernicus stopped right when he was supposed to, but... he knew this game! He was going to die. |
Jenn stopped quickly and listened happily, eyeing the red balls in Vindictus's hands. Flying Dodgeball? Sounded like fun. Jenn raised her hand happily. "Dodgeball is where you have about, um, twelve balls in a line in the middle of the floor. There is two teams. When the person in charge blows the whistle, everyone runs to the middle of the floor to grab a ball. The goal is to throw the balls at your opponent and get them out. The team with the most players still on the field is the winner!"Jenn said, taking a deep breath. She was surprised she remembered that much. |
Qaz stopped and hovered as requested. Dodgeball? She may have been brought up Muggle, but she'd never played the game. This would be quite interesting...and perhaps painful. |
Flying dodge ball! This was going to be so sweet. |
Maddox stopped as the whistle blew. Flying Dodge ball. He grinned wickedly. This was going to be fun. He raised his hand and said, "Dodge ball is a game with 2 teams. Each player ahs their own ball, and you have to throw them at the oppostie team. If you are hit with the ball you are out of the game. The team with the most players left wins." |
Abby stops her broom on a dime and hovers. She listens to what Professor Vindictus is saying. Abby's never played muggle dodge ball, so she has no idea how you play it or what the rules are. This new game sounds like fun. |

he listened to the question and then raised his hand, holdning very tight with the other. "Sir the point of Dodge ball is much the same as first rule - don't get hit if you are, you're eliminated. others are: - there is usually a pitch, divided into sides with two teams, one team to a side, stay on your side, crossing your boundaries often means elimination, depending on the rules preestablished. - don't drop the ball, if you do you're eliminated, though you can pass it to a team member. - no head shots, it's a penalty offense - this can mean elimination or time out. - last man standing/ not eliminated wins the whole game for his/her team" |

Hearing that they were gonna play dodgeball, and heard the other students discuss the rules, he smirked, saying Man this is gonna be fun! Muggle games in wizard ways rock |

He looked at them and grinned. "It's Ravenclaw and Slytherin versus Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. Game on!" He blew his whistle and tossed both of the balls into the air. Let the chaos begin. |
Rian stopped flying, making herself not groan. It had taken a miracle to get her in the air, and now she just had to hover? This professor was obviously trying to kill her. She held steadily to the broom, willing herself not to look down. Her eyes widened when she heard the proffessor's words. Flying DODGEBALL? Well, that comfirmed her theory. He was at least going to give her a free ticket to the Hospital wing, that was for sure. Whether it be for falling off her broom, or getting a horrible stomache ache - or both - she was surely going to see the nurse today. She shook her head slightly. She knew the rules to dodgeball, but she didn't want to open her mouth, for fear she would scream, or maybe even throw up. No, she kept her jaws shut firmly, and her eyes never got lower than her elbow. Umph. Let the game begin. She swallowed, and flew forward slowly, wanting to get out of the middle of the action. |
She zoomed forward and reached for he ball and it fell right into her hands. she looked around and spotted TOBI She aimed the ball right at his back and launched it. |
"Yeah!" Liz whoops. Swerving to avoid Jen, she hopes to grab a ball, when they both were taken she took off. |
Oh this was going to go pretty good. Tobi was a Chaser after all. And he'd pretty much gotten used to his Silver Arrow. Yes, And Anna, and Cale were there, Agie, Kayla and Maddox looked sturdy too, this might turn out in their favour. He looked quickly to see Paris take a shot at him, no time to be fancy or catch it he shot straight up in the air like a cork out of a bottle to avoid it. "HA!" |
Spotting a ball that was falling from missing a Gryffindor by inches, she zooms toward it, after grabbing it she tosses it at Marcus |
She watched Tobi dodge her ball and then a Ravenclaw took aim at someone. She looked around for the other ball. She spotted it falling and she took off to go get it. |
Cale grabbed the ball Tobi had just avoided and grinned as the chaos began. Hmm, Slytherin and Ravenclaw, eh? He immediately spotted Paris, who had just taken a shot at Tobi, and aimed. Sure, he was hitting a girl and technically that went against his moral code, but not today! He wound up and threw the ball at the side of arm, hoping it would hit |
Jenn grinned happily. Three points! Yes! Jenn listened as Vindictus explained how they where going to play it on brooms. It sounded like a lot of fun, and the winner got five extra points....EACH! Jenn was super excited. Ravenclaw and Slytherin huh? Sounded fine with her. Jenn manuvered her broom over, and waited with the rest of her team. Jenn watched as the balls where quickly taken by a person. She dodged quickly, not wanting to get out. |
Agie was excited. How awesome was this? She was used to being under attack when she was seeker, and it was only two balls. Just like in Quidditch. Only these balls were softer and probably slower. She flew around the pitch, winking at her team mates and dodging all balls. She was looking for Lyra. Oh where oh where was that girl hiding? |
Barry was going to die, he had no experiance in flying. He had signed up but only so he wouldn`t look unfit. He flew up away from the rest eyes out for a ball. |
As soon as the whistle blew, Anna flew off down the pitch, determined not to get hit by one of the balls. She flew around the pitch, trying to figure out the best strategy to help her get the ball but not get hit in the process. It'd be nice to be able to catch the ball and get one of her opponents out of the game. Anna turned her head and glanced behind her, trying to figure out just where all those Ravenclaws and Slytherins had flown of to. Those were the players she wanted to stay away from. Now...where were those balls? |
ummm, who posts outcome, if intended player disappears... Zooming off when Marcus got hit in the foot, Liz takes off to the other end of the pitch. Kay: I'm leaving this lesson open so that we can have fun, so if someone disappears then say that the ball missed them. |
Rian shook her head again. This was going to be bad. BAD I tell you. She turned slowly and flew to join her team, hovering in the air besides Jenn. She scanned the air in front of her, looking for a stray - or on-coming - ball. |
