Christine shooked her head at Kyle. She leanded over to grab a spoon and scooped some mashed potatos on her plate. She grabbed two pieces of chicken and put them on her plate too. She didn't realized how hungry she was until she smelled the food.

Christine heard Kyle invite a girl, who was much older then she was, to sit with them. Christine put a smile on her face to make her feel welcomed.

Kyle, are you gonna eat some food or hog all my delicious jelly beans? she asked pushing a plate towards him. Christine always felt weird eating when other people weren't, and she was ready to chow down so she hoped Kyle was as hungry as she was.

Kyle was still munching on the beans but ddecided some good elf cooking would taste better. He grabbed the plate and stuffed a little bit of everything on the plate. He looked back at Christine and smiled. "Happy?" he asked biting a chicken leg and smiling showing bits of food. "I think that i match Cams description of a guy now." he said swallowing trying not to laugh

Christine almost choked on what she was chewing. I guess you do she said while coughing. She grabbed her goblet and took a swig to clear her throat. I dont really like guys who are like that, but if thats you then Christine said without finishing. She looked at him in mock horror and tried to scoot away on the bench, but since she was sitting next to someone all she moved was two inches.

Laughing Kyle shook his head and swallowed. "Come back!" he said wiping his hands off and giving her a puppy dog look. He stuck out his bottom lip

Your sad puppy eyes wont work on me she said while trying to keep a stern look on her face. She looked away from him knowing if she looked at him she would laugh. After about a minute to starring at the staff table, she turned and looked at Kyle to see he still had the same look on his face. Christine scooting the two inches back over towards him, rolled her eyes, and picked up her fork to eat some mashed potatos.

So I see that you were sorted into Gryffindor she said as she chewed. They are not as good as hufflepuff but I guess they aren't the worse. Christine had hoped he would be sorted into her house. She didn't really have any friend in hufflepuff and it would have been nice to have someone to hand out with in the common room.

Kyle looked at Christine closely. She wasnt her fun loving usual self. He furrowed his eyebrows and put a hand gently on her knee. "Hey everything alright/" he asked in concern. She was always smiling but now she looked tired or something.

"Yeah I got into Gryfindor but I dont know anyone there." hesaid sighging. "See it would be ALOT better if we were in the same house. Then you know we could hang otu and have fun and I wouldnt haveto miss you." he said smiling.

Kiki looked at the boy and the girl, and decided it wouldn't be too bad.
"What year are you guys?"

No nothing is wrong she said while putting down her fork. I just dont have many friends in my own house and it gets pretty lonely in the common room. It would have been nice if you were in hufflepuff. She said chewing on he lower lip. But I guess that means that I'm just going to have to spend more time away from the common room, since you can't get in.

Christine turned to the girl Kyle invited to sit with them. I'm a third year. Names Christine she said answering her question.

Kyle smiled at the girl. "Im Kyle Montgomery fifth year gryfindor." he said pointing to the girl.

he looked back at Chrstine. "Of course your goign to stay away from your common room cause me and you are going to be hanging out!" he said trying to perk her up. There seemed to be something else wrong. "So dont worry about not knowing anyone. Cuz I dont know anyone in Gryfindor."

Christine, who was picked bits off of a bisket smiled, shook her head, and tossed a peice of the bisket at Kyle. Well if you spend all your time with me then you wont know anyone in your house Christine said while putting another peice of the bisket in her mouth. She really liked Kyle, but she was waiting for him to get tired of her and leave, just like everyone else did.

Kyle made a pfttt sound and stared at Christine shaking his head. "Your no getting rid of me that easily hun." he said taking the piece of brisket and throwing it back at her. He smiled at her playfully and wiggled his eyebrows. "Smile already! Im not going anywhere." he said giving her a small nudgee.

Christine looked at Kyle, then gave him the biggest smile she could manage, showing her dimples. She then picked up a peice of chicken and took a bit out of it. After swallowing her food so turned to Kyle. So you never told me why you had to leave Durmstrang. she said hoping to get him talking

Kyle laughed and slid further away from him so he could eat . "WEll... you know Gabben?" heasked not remembering if she did or not. "Wellme and him are best buds and we are.. trouble makers. We set the headmasters pants on fire." he said remembering the moment. It was priceless. "It was hiarious you should have been there." he said and bit into his food.

Christine spit the food she was eating out her mouth in shock. Um, no I dont personally know Gabben. You said he likes to chase girls around. But why did you light his pants on fire? Christine asked him. She closed her eyes trying to imagine someone running around with their pants on fire, but she couldn't. She had never seen or heard of anything like that. When muggles caught on fire it caused them a lot of pain, and possibly death. Maybe that wasn't true for wizards, althought she wasn't going to find that out for herself.

Twilight softly walked after the sorting to the Hufflepuff table. 'Strange', she thought, 'they said my name was Twilight Mcdonahue. It is as if that is the important last name not Hodges. I wonder did Dad and mum use the Hodges as a cover? Dad was right i would be in Hufflepuff like he was and not Ravenclaw like mum. They look all nice... I like the Professor though... and that must be the Fat friar. He does look nice just like Dad said he would'

She slipped into one of the remaining empty seats, looked shyly around the table and then at her lap. The others started t eat so she filled up her plate and slowly ate too. She just quietly listened to the conversation around her. Sometimes she wished her hearing wasn't so good.

John walked into the great hall, and he sat down at the hufflepuff house table. He wondered if there was anyone he had seen sat around but unfortuntly there wasn't.

Ruby spotted John and walked over "hello" she said nervously

Even after the long journey in Hogwarts Express, the young Hufflepuff didn't feel tired. She was ready to party. Glacing around, Eva Longwood saw the boy she had met earlier on the Express, Reed, but she chose to sat down alone with her own thoughts. Reed sounded busy and she sure didn't want to interrupt the fourth year boy.
She chuckled as she watched the young firsties. The little ones were always so funny. That thought reminded her she had to do something for a new-comer in Slytherin, Kevin.

John smiled as he saw Ruby, "Hello Ruby, So you got sorted into Slytherin, Congratulation." John was a bit upset with the result as it ment that they would not be seeing each other that much, but John was sure that when they did he would try to make it the best time of her life. He looked at her and wondered what to say next.

John sat still for a few minutes trying to think what to say or do next. In the end he decided to continue to talk to her "So how do you feel about being in Slytherin?" He couldn't believe how much he was falling for her, he would have to ask Jack for some advice. He looked around the room, he could feel his face going red. He turned quickly away from her whilest his face went back to the normal colour. Once it had gone back to the normal colour he turned back to her.

"So have you made any new friends?" He wondered if she had any other friends that might be falling for her, if there was he would be so upset. He looked around the room again and then upto the staff table to see if there was any sight of anyone that might be the head, but he wouldn't know which one to look for, He knew that they would sit in the centre of the table.

John turned his attention back to Ruby, he smiled at her. What was he suppost to say now he just didn't know maybe he should asked her where Jack and Sakura where. "have you seen Jack?" He was worried he hadn't seen his twin since the train and he wanted to know what Jack was doing.

Ahh, He'd certainly missed Hogwarts.

The smell especially.

Wait... The smell? He was going mad. Pushing the random thought to the back of his mind, Sebastian fought his way through a gaggle of overly excited first years to an empty place on the benches. Plonking himself down, he couldn't help the crazy grin that slipped onto his mouth. He felt like he was home.

And it did smell good, no matter how much his inner sanity tried to deny it. A sort of, woody, warm smell that his home seemed to refuse to take on.

It smelt a bit like Eva's house really.

Ruby nodded "yes as soon as i can i am sending Apolla a note home to Grandfather he will be pleased" she looked at John and sighed he was in Hufflepuff she would have to try and make arrangements to meet him after classes as she couldn't bear to be apart from him she continued to talk "congratulations on Hufflepuff, i see Jack made it in that house aswell?" she noticed he turned away and she felt her eyes swell up he must think im horrible now she thought,

Ruby answered his next question "i have met a few freinds yes a couple of boys Kevin who is in Slytherin and Kaio who is a 2nd year Gryffindor" she wondered what was going through his mind she thought maybe he didn't feel the same way as her, she was really going to have to talk to Saku when she wasn't all over Jack.

"Jack?" she asked "i thought he had told you he is sitting with Saku over at the Slytherin table he has befriended Kevin as well i think" she smiled at John and thought her heart was breaking she didn't know what to do.

Glad Eva hadn't the ability to read to minds. She'd certainly tease Sebastian for the rest of his life because of his last thought. No, and Eva wasn't even aware Sebastian was there already.
She was filling her glass with more pumpkin juice when she saw him. She shook her head, although there was a wide smile playing on her lips.
"Well, well, well..." she whispered more to herself. She winked at him and waited to see if he'd come around. She wasn't in the mood to stand up.

Halfway through attempting to find someone he knew on the table, Sebastian almost fell off his seat.

He hated it when people winked at him. It made him blush like mad. And it made him blush more when it was a specific 'puff who winked at him. Standing up, if a little shakily, he made his way around the table to her, and after almost being attacked by another group of first years, he made it to the spare space on her right.

"Hai." He muttered, fully aware that the red was still tinting his pale cheeks a little.

"Hey there." she greeted him back with a slight smirk. Just a slight one. She loved to see him blushing, and she was even happier because she was the reason why he was blushing. Eheh. She cleared some space at her right for Sebastian to sit in. "How are you?" she asked, this time grinning. She took a bite of a cookie while she kept staring at him, enjoying and admiring how much he had changed over the summer.

John smiled at Ruby "As soon as I can I will send one to dad telling him, though I don't expect him to reply quickly as he will be busy, he is head of the Gobstone division in the ministry, so he is always busy." He smiled at Ruby before he continued "So Ruby does anyone in your family work for the ministry?" He hoped that she was the kind of girl his dad would approve, saying that he was sure that he would.

He looked into her eyes and could see the prittyness in them, he would have to ask Jack for some advice, even if she didn't fancy him he would have to try and ask her out some how. Then it happened by mistake "You look pritt.." He thought he was just thinking it but his lips where moving. "I ment look at the sky, It looks pritty" He hoped he had coved up the slip of his tounge if she rejected him before he could prepare himself for the rejection, it would scar him for life, he would never love a girl again.

He was hardly listerning to what She said about Jack and Sakura, his face was still red with embarrassment "Okay so Jack is at the Slytherin Table, then maybe you would like to sitdown and spend the rest of the feast talking to me?" He hoped that she would as he wanted to get to know her and to find out what the thing she liked were.
