Ella stopped eating and rushed over to the spot where a boy was lying on the ground. "Ohmygosh," she said to who appeared to be his girlfriend (ooc:Sakura). "Is he all right?"

"Good, you?...My name is Jim.

Vanessa looked up as one of the female students present suddenly started to cry, she must be a close friend to the dude who'd fallen unconsious. She smiled at the Slytherin girl. "He'll be okay," She assured her, with a friendly smile. Surely with the teachers present now, everything would be fine.

"Looking at the newcomer Sakura took a few deep breaths so that she wouldn't yell at her. "I'm not sure, he's breathing again so that's a plus, but other than that..." She trailed off, not knowing what to say.

Turning to an older student she said, "You don't know that, no one knows that, he was knocked out the muggle way so anything could be wrong, especially since we don't know how hard he hit his head and the fact that he stopped breathing doesn't help." Sakura said before breaking down again.

Spence groaned at the new girl. No. He is not alright. She then saw Jack's eyes flutter. Jack. Come on. Get up. Saku needs you.

Christine backed up a step when the boy started coughing again. She wasn't sure he was going to throw up again, and she was on the verge of losing her food also. Christine started to chew on her bottom lip, concentrating on keeping her food down, but not leaving the boy's side. She wanted to make sure he was ok.

Upon hearing that Sak needed him, Jack rolled onto his hands and knees and slipped in own sick, he was too weak to get up

Ella turned to the now-conscious boy. "Are you allright?" she asked him.

Spence nudged Saku. Saku, he's alright. Look.

Ian was completely confused. By the behavior he had seen, the boy appeared to be choking, however, he had apparently just over eaten? Ian had never done that.

"Thank you professor," he said. The pun had not gone unnoticed. "Students, please stand back. Food may come flying." He waved his arms around to attempt to clear the area around the young man before pointing his wand at the boy's throat and shouting "Anapneo!" He sure hoped this would work...

Luckily, there was no need. The boy seemed to awake and was generally healthy, other than being covered in nasty and slipping in it too. Ian held back a gag as he scourgified the ground underneath the boy and the boy himself. "Please do try to limit yourself in the future," he said.

The boy seemed to be better, since he was trying to stand up. As he got up he slipped and almost hit the floor again. Christine put out a hand to catch him so he wouldn't land in his own pile of sick. Whoa, watch out there.

Dominic looked back over his shoulder, pleased to see that Kaika had joined them in making sure a fellow puff was doing okay. He nodded back in return before turning his attention back to look at the annoying, but nonetheless a badger.


Dominic shrugged his shoulder at Vanessa, unsure of her questions. Oh Professor Dumont really was a lifesaver, hopefully anyway. It was quite honorable for what he was doing, but nonetheless, Dominic just hoped the feast would end soon. There had been enough trouble for one welcoming feast.


Another professor - this one rather large - decided to come by as well. Dominic winced though as he saw the kid coughing more grossness from his mouth, as he felt his stomach turn upside down. Oh dear, he was not cut out for medical stuff.

Holding his breath, he reached up from the table and grabbed a few cleanish napkins. Handing them towards the Muggle Studies Professor, he said politely, "Here professor, these might help."

Antonio set the boy back down for a moment. "Take a deep breath for a minute and you'll be fine. You're going to be all right. Just please, for the love of Merlin, get yourself cleaned up as soon as you feel better!"

Looking up again Sakura saw Jack attempting to stand and quickly put a hand on his arm. "Not so fast, you were just knocked out, you should stay down a little longer." She said hoarsely before positioning him so that he was leaning on her slightly, ignoring the fact that her robes were probably going to be stained with his vomit.

Glaring up at Professor Dumont Sakura said "Well you were a lot of help, I see why his family doesn't think too highly of you. You leave a student to help him start breathing again, instead of acting yourself. Oh and professor get your reports right, we said he fell and got knocked out, not that he had too much to eat." Sakura spat.

Saku. It will be alright. Calm down. Spence tried to help Jack to.

"Well, miss, the best thing for him right now is for him to breathe on his own, otherwise he may not make it at all," Antonio said. "I'm right here watching to make sure that he's okay. And as far as what his family thinks, I've never had the pleasure. Any opinion they may have of me was formed strictly from third hand information, I'm afraid. Now, how well do you know this boy? Do you know of any medical conditions which he suffers from which would cause him to have such an attack?"

Jake shook his head.

If I had a galleon for everyone that's passed out or needed medical attention today, I'd have... I dunno... 'bout... 7 or 8 galleons?

Shrugging at his internal thoughts, Jake pointed at the now awake boy. "He's one of them... you shoulda heard him on the train," Jake grinned. "Going on about trouble... and there was an incident with a mouldy tuna sandwich... but don't tell anyone," Jake fixed his statement immediately. "There's some kids in the other houses like that too... but I don't plan on doing anything too bad."

If Jake had been hungry before, he'd have been put way off his food by now. This was disgusting, and Jake did his best to ignore Jack and the whole commotion, though he was a little concerned about Jack.

"Doofie" Jack mumbled thinking he'd said 'great'

Jack looked at the professor "Whuzzah?"

"Funkeh" Jack smiled, he thought he'd said 'thank you'

Jack stared at the only clear shape in his vision, why did it have to be Denton? he wondered

"Ngah" Jack grinned thinking he'd said 'Okay'

Jack smiled "ksa!" he exclaimed happily, he was getting closer to proper english, at least he was using the right letters now.

"Oh you've met him before, he's Jose younger brother." Sakura glared. "Yes I know why he had an attack, he hit his head, like we said in the first place, obviously you can't listen too well though. And I know him enough, he's my boyfriend but as for medical conditions well I didn't exactly ask." Sakura was angry and Professor Dumont was taking the brunt of that anger.

She looked down again and smiled when she heard Jack attempting to speak. "Hey, everything will be fine now." Sakura said in what she hoped would be a soothing tone.

If it wasn't for Curt's appearance, Kaika would've still be seating at her spot and would've ate something, instead of only drinking her pumpkin juice. She was officially glad that she'd walked over to where Curt was seating a few minutes ago, otherwise, she wouldn't be able to remain in place after the current events.

However, she'll have to grab a muffin and take it to the Common Room, since she had not eaten anything, and was certainly not in the mood for eating anything else.

Good. The boy was sort of waking up, now. She was oh-so-relieved by this. Thanks to Professor Dumont, the boy named Jack was alright.

The little Slytherin girl spoke at Professor Dumont, and Kaika's face turned to a confused expression. "What is she talking about?" she thought, knowing that the girl should be thanking the Professor for all his help and nothing else.

Kaika turned as she heard Jake speak again. Oh, so this boy Jack was looking for trouble, huh? Her eyes narrowed a bit, she'd have to keep track of him and make sure he didn't make Hufflepuff lose any points. But, that was more Dominic and Kayla's obligations. She'll be sure to let Dominic know. And Kayla, too, just in case.

She laughed when he mentioned something that was clearly not meant to be mentioned. "Oh, don't worry...I've already forgotten about the what...chicken sandwich?" she winked at him, surely she wasn't going to mention that to anyone. First, well, because it was a Huffie that has told her not to, and second of all, she was not involved in that incident, therefore, it wasn't hers to tell.

Oh, she caught something. "Nothing too bad?" she eyed him, "Yeah, I guess that's okay" it's not like the boy was going to behave at his best at all times. He was still a kid. And trouble was bound to catch him eventually.

And then she laughed, he was already having problems with first years? "He should pick at least same ages if he wants to argue with someone" she commented, still laughing. That was amusing.

Yes! Miranda understood it all. "Yes! It is awesome! If only Rapunzel was still in Hogwarts...I'm going to miss her very much..." however, all that Kaika knew was that her former Captain wasn't coming this year, but she didn't even know why or where she went. The only thing Kaika knew was that she had to do her best...for Rapunzel and for Amelia. "Thank you, Miranda" she said, with a smile on the brunette's face.

But Miranda didn't have to answer Emalyn's question, "Yep..." Kaika said, showing the badge a bit this time, "Thanks!" she added, hopefully they'll win the Cup this year, and then a thought came to mind. A thought not entirely related to Quidditch, which was something weird coming from Kaika. "And practices will be harder this year" a sort-of-evil grin spread across her face.

Turning back to look at Kaika, they continued talking about Dominic.
"Well I can see what you mean..." Miranda trailed off, holding a fork that had just pierced a cherry tomato. She thought back on how the new Prefect was last term and Miranda couldnt say she really liked his attitude much. But he had seemed to change a bit, atleast he didn't seem that annoying back in Diagon Alley... "Professor Shackleton chose him for a reason, Im sure. Besides," she paused stuffing the tomato in her mouth, "Maybe this will be a good learining experience for him ya know?"
Miranda raised her eyebrows, chewing. Huh, since when was she so philosophic?

Just as Emalyn asked about Kaika being captain, Miranda had just taken more food into her mouth, this time it was some sallad with something salty she had no idea what it was, although it tasted very nice. She could only nod as Kaika explained the situation.

"What!?" Miranda wheezed for she had choked on some fries. What did she mean about Rapunzel?
Frowning, she asked confused, "Wha... What do you mean she's not in Hogwarts?"

Oh no... Was her lower lip trembling?

The boy that Christine caught had said something to her, but it was not in english. I wasn't in any language Christine had ever heard. I think you hit you head pretty hard because you're not making any sense Christine told the boy with concern in her voice. She hoped he didn't do any permanent damage.

Turning to the girl Sakura said, "I think he meant thank-you."

"Well, that's very nice, thank you for your information," Antonio replied, just as sarcastically It appears your boyfriend here is going to be fine, just as I said, in fact, he appears to be coming around now. Have a good day, do, and here's a little gift - 10 points from Slytherin!" He looked at the other professor. "That's just from me personally. Do you wish to add anything, Professor?"

"Yes, it could be annoying. Unless they went after Dominic, and in that case he wouldn't kill us during tryouts." Emalyn stuck her tongue out. "But yes I suppose it's annoying. I don't like getting hurt, so there you have it." Emalyn looked down at her lap. She smoothed out her skirt, which she noticed had bread crumbs all over it, and looked back up at Kaika.

"My family is fine, I suppose. It was so great to see them again. My brother tried to steal my wand on numerous occasions and it stinks not being able to tell some of my muggle friends about it all, but they're all good." Emalyn smiled. "I'll definitely have an easier time this year, without them."

Emalyn looked down at her plate. "I'm sorry that I brought the subject up. I don't want you to leave, either." Emalyn wrung her hands in her lap. She always said and did the wrong things. "No, no, we wouldn't dream of trying to get rid of you!" Emalyn laughed. "Getting together some summer would be wicked awesome. Yes, we'll have Kaitlynnh, hopefully. Cross your fingers she's a Hufflepuff!"

And there I go again. Another line that shouldn't have been crossed. Of course her sister would be in Hufflepuff...it was a horrible idea to say something like that, and having Vannah worry. Especially because she wouldn't be there to witness her sister's sorting - Oh! Stop it you! Stop being negative... Emalyn thought. She shook her head quickly and smiled at Vannah.

Emalyn spotted a young boy sitting fairly close to her. He looked somewhat confused, looking around curiously but not too anxiously.
"Hello," Emalyn smiled at him. "You're a first year, aren't you? I'm Emalyn Daniels, second year. Welcome to Hufflepuff!"


"Well, I know the name from somewhere. Someone is Stephanie or someone has mentioned a Stephanie around me...I don't know." she laughed quietly to herself. "Oh, you don't know that. You're very supportive and helpful! But anyway," Emalyn sighed. "I'm getting quite full, aren't you?"

"It's been a looonggg day." Emalyn yawned and stretched her arms out in front of her. She drew them back quickly, as someone was reaching for the potatoes, and she accidentally knocked her goblet of pumpkin juice over. It splashed over her skirt, seaping in and making her cringe with the sudden cold sensation. "Urgh," she murmured, taking her wand out. She scrunched up her face, trying to remember the spell. She muttered a word or two under her breath and a look of relief swept over her face. "There. I'm so clumsy!" she grabbed the nearest jug of pumpkin juice and poured more into her goblet. She should have known not to fill it up too much, but the juice was so precious to her that she didn't want to listen to her conscience. She smiled at Ella and rolled her eyes, as if it were the juice's fault. "So, where were we?"
