Thinking back a little Jake realised there really was a large amount of J names going round... he turned o Kaika to share with her the thing that may make things comlicated. "I have a friend called Jack..." Jake pointed down the table. "And he has a twin brother John. Plus I know louds of people with short J names... they're common."

Ok... really random topic... prepare to steer away.

Then, Jake facepalmed. That was the second time he'd done this within a few days. Like when he called Dominic Donnymick, Jake attempted to laugh it off slightly. "Sorry," he said. "Probably just the nerves of all this," Jake indicated the Hall around him. But those classes, I can't wait till I get a shot."

Twilight had been listening to the conversation between them and had to smile to herself. She so understood how that felt. Often she had just felt like she didn't fit in where people had said she should fit in.

"Excuse m Shana," she said. "I couldn't help listening, I know how you feel. I mean look my dad is a Hufflepuff, my mom is Ravenclaw and my grandma is Slytherin, and I am not sure abut grandpa I never asked him. I couldn't figure out how i could belong anywhere. SO we can grow and learn together. By the way you are both vry pretty, you know."

Shana turned around and smiled at the girl Ermm thanks.She didn't really know what to say.

She beamed now as Shana told her that she felt better. "It's nothing but the truth. Just don't forget it." She winked at her knowingly. "So where you want to explore first? There are so many places that I can show you around" She oved giving tours of Hogwarts.

Shana Looked around which is what she did when she was thinking I wont forget.She thought again Ermm Anywhere you can choose.Shana Decided that she had to tell Lima about her parents today!

In less than a millisecond Lima exclaimed, "Let's go to the lake first!" She knew that she was a bit hyper, but she really wanted to show Shana her tree.

Emalyn nodded. "I suppose that's true. Things didn't start happening around me until I was like, nine or older. He's only six." Emalyn pondered this thought for a moment. "Yeah, something must trigger it somehow."
She bit into a biscut and chewed for a few moments. "So," she said, swallowing. "You're a seventh year! I won't see you next term."


Emalyn laughed too. "Oh ok. As much as they were interesting, it was a bit odd." Kaika blushed, and Emalyn winked. "Oh don't worry, you don't have to hope so. You will be a great captain."

Emalyn clearly couldn't wait for quidditch to begin. It was one of the many highlights at Hogwarts! She had saved up with her birthday money and rare allowances and converted it to wizarding money in Diagon Alley. Her mother had agreed to pay for her books and robes as long as she would buy her own broom. As it was, her parents didn't like her up in the sky at all, but Emalyn insisted on it and got her way. She now had a good broom (or at least it was in her eyes), unlike the year before. Sure, it got the job done but Emalyn enjoyed things she could pick out for herself. She smiled, remembering her broom in her luggage, probably in her dormitory by now.

Shana was shocked at Lima's excitment.It starteled her.Ok Shana got up and followed Lima out of the door.

Was it so hard to spot a girl that has been on your mind for what feels like forever? Travis walked alongside the Hufflepuff table, scanning the seats for one girl in particular. It seemed like he'd been trying to locate Caitlin for a very long time. Where could you possibly be? Maybe she left to see Irial...

Suddenly he was jealous. Certainly Caitlin would have told him something if she had left. Travis would have gone with her without a second thought. He frowned as he got closer to the Gryffindor table.

He spotted Kayla, whom he hadn't seen in a while, talking with her fellow students. Travis was about to make his way over to her before he thought better of it. He didn't want to interrupt her conversation.

Yes. Short 'J' names were slightly common, but she was sure she could find one that wasn't, just not right now. "It's alright...I don't I'll forget 'Jake'" yes, she probably won't.

She smiled, "You don't have to be nervous, but I guess it's common to forget the name of a class when you've never heard of it" a shrug came to her shoulders. It was true. If you've never heard of it, then it was normal to forget about it, right?

"You'll do great, don't worry" however, she might just be telling that to herself, considering the amount of new Professors in the staff table.

"Interesting, yes" she said, "but also a bit annoying, don't you agree?" she chuckled, of course, Emalyn had to think that the 'flutterbys' could be annoying since they only seemed to notice the poor girl's nose.

Kaika simply grinned at her next comment. There was no need to say more. By now she only wanted for the school term to start properly, there was still so much to get done.

"So, how's the family?" she asked, the last time they'd been at school Emalyn was missing them a lot, maybe this year she'll get used to not having them around as often.

Savannah nodded, to show she understood the whole 'regular' usual summer break thing. That's about the same as hers went, for.. well, her family. That is. No big trips, just time with her family. Usual summer BBQs at Grandma Angelina's, and OH- Tobey. Once little Tobias came to mind, she shrugged slightly. Best keep that adventure out, it was a long and complicated story. "About the same for me. Family.. friends; Went to Hawaii for a week or two with my Grandma, sister, neice and nephew and our friends to my Grandma's friends house who also happens to be the grandfather of my sister and neices friends." What a mouth full. Savannah laughed, wondering if that made any sense at all or if it was just a confusion mess of words.
Yes, Seventh year. The girl was both very excited, and very scared of this fact. She was now an adult, as far as being a witch went. But living in a muggle neighborhood, it only felt half-true; Her eighteenth birthday would change that. "I know." Her smile slipped away, fading a little at the reminder that this was her final year attending Hogwarts. She would not be returning next fall. It was hard to wrap her mind around, the idea hadn't fully sunk in. "I'll miss the castle, the professors.." Vannah trailed off, looking up at the enchanted ceiling. She forced a small smile, as her gaze shifted back to Ema.

"And most importantly, you guys. You won't be able to get rid of me that easily though, we can write letters. And during the summer we can get together if your parents wouldn't mind," Maybe she and Lex could plan a summer to have all of their friends over, not the one coming mext, since they all had lives to start, but the one after that. Savannah made a mental note to discuss this with the Lion Captain later on. "If all goes well, you'll have my little sister, Kaitlynnh, here too." She added.

Miles shurgged, it was nothing to him. He wasn't a pig, he could stop eating when he wanted, and Vannie was more inportant. "It doesn't matter. I came to the Huffie table to talk to you, not steal your house's food." He laughed, and wrapped his arm around her.

"Naaah .. well, a little bit. But I'm sure they're fine without me." Miles imagined them all looking at him longingly and crying his name. "So, Vannie. Aren't you going to eat?" He smiled at her.

As a boy walked up to the end of the Hufflepuff table, he wondered if he would make any friends, although he was pureblood, he didn't know anybody, he just hoped to have a good term.

"Nice to meet you Ray. I'm not sure. I'll have to ask the headmaster. I would imagine I would qualify to take OWLS. My credits from Barrow were accepted here with no problems. Hufflepuff? Are you related to the Hufflepuff that the house was named after?"

Lima saw Shana get up and giggled. "Not just yet, babe. I want to finish my food first." She winked. Lima never stopped eating until her plate was empty.

Sakura jumped slightly when she felt someone next to her, and then heard laughter, she had been daydreaming about Jack. Looking up she looked around guiltily, that is until she saw that Jack was the person next to her. "Hi." She smiled shyly, and if Spence dare make fun of this she'd kick her, then maybe hex her.

Sakura was just glad that he hadn't caught her snuggling into his jacket. "Yes Ruby got past his shyness now if he would just have the guts to ask her, everything would be great. Although at least he hasn't made her cry." Sakura said with a teasing grin.

Shana Felt a bit emmbarresed Oooh Im sorry.Shana Sat back down and got some more pumpkin juice and a little bit of food.Ermm Lima could i tell you somethink ?

"Aww. Your cute," Vanessa smirked as she looked up at him. "And it isn't stealing.....isn't the food the same?" She shrugged, surely each house had the same. But she wanted to make sure that he had eaten enough, she didn't want him to go hungry in the middle of the night, because that wouldn't be good.

"Are you sure?" She asked, with a grin. They also seemed to sit at the slytherin table, would they be able to cope without him. Not that she really cared she wouldn't be giving him back to them any way. "Yes....what do you think Im going to do Miles," She grinned at him, before eating some more potato.

Jack blushed "I didn't make you cry on purpose" he told her "Ruby, you should be honoured, John doesn't let just anyone see his normal, un-shy side" Jack told her with a grin.

Sakura smiled slightly at Jack, "Oh I know you didn't mean too. Just like you didn't mean to knock me over in Diagon Alley." She said with a raised eyebrow, before leaning against him slightly, not noticable to people watching but enough for a slight pressure to be present.

Spence turned to Saku. He made you cry. she said tensly. She tried to take a deep breath but it was hard.

Jack stopped blushing "You taking the mick?" Jack asked her, he stroked her hair as she leant on him.

Looking at Spence Sakura suddenly wished that she hadn't of been joking around with him. "Maybe." She replied with a smirk, "But he then made it up to me."

Looking up at Jack she grinned slightly, that was exactly what she was doing.

"It's okay," she said kindly, noticing the girl's slight embarrassment. She then perked up. "Ooh, what do you want to tell me?"
