Sakura just smiled a little embarrassed before she spotted some Honeydew. She loved Honeydew. Quick as lightening she grabbed a whole heap of the fruit and set it down on a plate before picking up a single piece and chewing on it slightly. Finally they had a healthy food that she loved. Slightly shy she held a piece out to Jack, wondering whether or not he would try it.

Jack laughed at her, first, she was not going to eat, now she was eating loads "Nah, I'm good thanks" Jack pushed it away "You eat it" he smiled

Sakura suddenly felt self conscious again. This was why she was uncomfortable eating around other people. If she found something she liked when she was hungry even if it was healthy she always felt like a pig. She dropped the piece of fruit back to her plate before pushing it away. Starvation was the better option.

Jack noticed her drop it "Hey, no, I'm sorry" he said quickly "C'mon, please" he pushed the fruit back towards her

When the plate was pushed back towards her Sakura did pick up a piece of fruit but she didn't go to eat it, merely playing with it. If her mother saw her she would be yelling at her right now. Then again she'd probably be telling her off for sitting with a boy and stealing his food. Her mother always seemed to be critisizing her when no-one else was around though so she was used to it. Looking down dejectedly she asked "So is there anything you'd like to know?"

Jack smiled a little as she picked it up "Hey, she's not here now, is she?" he told her with a wink "hmm... like?"

"Like anything really. I'll answer as honestly as I can." Smiling she actually placed the Honeydew in her mouth and chewed delicately before answering his rhetorical question, "No she isn't which is refreshing but I can't seem to break the habits I learnt off her."

Jack smiled "Don't worry about it, anyway, I wanted to ask, you said that I nearly died, how did that happen?" he asked curiously.

"Oh." Her expression fell drastically and pain filled her eyes. This was a touchy subject, one she really didn't want to talk about but she had said she'd answer any questions he had. Suddenly she started fiddling with the ties on her robes, revealing the clothes she wore underneath, a boys jacket with a light pink minnie skirt.

Sakura looked down for a fraction of a second before looking back up at him, "We were sitting at this table, it was the Welcoming Feast. I'm not sure what happened exactly. One minute we were talking and laughing the next you were on the floor with vomit all around you. I do know that you fell though and hit your head. You were unconscious and Merlin I was so worried. I told my friend Spence to go get a teacher, no-one was helping, seemingly they didn't know what to do. I performed what CPR I could, clearing your airways and all that as well as cleaning up the vomit. It seemed that you'd be okay but then you just stopped breathing. Dumont arrived sometime before that, however he was talking to someone and when you stopped breathing he didn't notice straight away. I had started to perform mouth to mouth before he noticed something was drastically wrong. I don't know if it would have worked but he saved your life with magic before we got a chance to find out." Sakura intoned emotionlessly, her voice broke when she said how he stopped breathing however and she had to take several deep breaths.

"The next time was the lake, you've heard about that however and I really would prefer not to talk about it more." When she said any question she had been hoping for something easier to answer, or at least something that wouldn't require her to think of times that she didn't like to look back on.

Jack's face became concerned "Sorry, I didn't realise you didn't want to talk about it" He'd done it! He'd said it! The word actually came out of his mouth! It rolled of the tongue so easily when she was around "Thanks sweetness" he hugged her "For saving my life" he stared straight into her eyes and tried to think of another thing to ask "So, what've I been up to this term?" he asked

"Besides detention you mean?" Sakura joked, trying to get back to her earlier disposition. "Well we've been conversing with Professor Dumont quite a bit to try and get to the bottom of this letter thing and attending classes obviously. You really do look adorable when you are totally lost in a class. We've also been spending time together alone when we can, unfortunately that isn't often and normally it is interrupted by others." Sakura frowned slightly trying to think of what else he'd been doing. "Oh yes you decided it'd be great fun to team up with Peeves and to antagonise a few other students. All in all not much." She was still fiddling but this time with the zipper of the jacket.

Jack nodded with a small smile "Detention, ok, Dumont, all this time?" he was surprised "I look adorable?" he asked nervously "Well, I'd blow up Mars to spend time with you" Jack smiled "Ahh... Peeves..." Jack repeated in a fake clever voice, then returning to his normal voice he raised an eyebrow "Peeves is back?" he asked a grin momentarily appearing on his face "Oh, who did I antagonise?" he asked with a small laugh at Sak's comment.

"Yeah all this time although technically I suppose it hasn't been a very long time." Smiling slightly she nodded. "But don't worry I wont tell anyone else that you do." Sakura blushed when he said he'd blow up Mars to spend time with her. "Yea all the ghosts just turned back up, it's really strange, no-one knows why they came back but it's interesting. Umm you've antagonised many people I suppose, not limited to my cousin."

Jack smiled "Thanks" he laughed a little "I annoyed your cousin??" he asked a little surprisedly.

"Yeah, although I don't think she was too fond of you from the beginning anyway. She got very mad that you wrecked my 500 Galleon Robes, which I would never have worn again anyway. She was more upset than I was." Sakura laughed slightly. "However she did warm up to you then you kinda annoyed her in Potions, oh and she really doesn't like the whole mind reading thing, and she found some things out that don't exactly endear you to her." She told him with a dismissive shrug.

Herminny spotted Jack at the Hufflepuff tablein the great hall and hit her with an effective knee reversing hex and then ran for it

Turning Sakura quickly hit the other girl with a bat boogie hex before turning back to Jack looking innocent, firstly however she placed Protego on herself to make sure she wouldn't be hit by the other girl in case of retaliation.

Jack took another bite of his toast and shrugged as Sak did

Jack frowned as he realised someone was behind him "Don't try it" he pulled out his wand "Protego" he cast before the spell hit

Jack laughed at Sak, so innocent, at times, this was not one of them Jack sighed, his 'gift' was kinda helpful at times

"What?" Sakura asked with a smirk and raised one perfectly shaped eyebrow. "He did say everyone with a badge on was an open target and I have to practice on others and help Slytherin anyway I can."

Jack sniggered "Good shot" he complemented her

"Thanks." Realising the girl was back again she turned to her and said, "Do you want to be a target again, I'd like to practise more than my Bat-Boogie Hex you know and since you're interrupting my alone time you can be the perfect target. You are wearing a badge after all." She gave the girl a sickly sweet smile as she said it.

Jack smirked "If I was you, I'd run" he advised the girl

Guh. He was smirking. He looked so evil. If the girl didn't heed her warning she should definitely heed his. After all she doubted the girl would like to be double teamed. Then again that idea had definite possibilities. Sakura started to smirk as well.
