Oh! I wish I could come watch. Maybe... maybe I should give you something for good luck? Cadence said, trying to think of something she could give him.

"Like what?" he asked.

Cadence thought for a moment and then spotted the simple silver ring that she always wore on her left index finger, a plain band with two words engraved on it: Love was written on the outer visible side of the ring, and Magic on the inside of it. It held no emotional significance, she had just always worn it. She slipped it off of her finger and showed it to Set. How about this? You could wear it on a necklace or something...

"Ahhh.... I love it!" said Set, as he conjured an thin silver chain out of thin air. "it's amazing!" He put on the necklace and felt stupendous!

Cadence beamed at him, glad he loved it, and watched wide-eyed as he conjured the silver chain. How did you do that? she asked.

"I learned it in transfiguration!" said Set.

Oh! Cadence said, still slightly amazed. Well, I'm glad you like it.

Set grabbed Cadence's hand. "What do ya wanna do now?" Set asked.

Hmm... I dunno... What do YOU want to do? Cadence asked him playfully.

"Let's go snuggle!" Set suggested.

Where at? In the common room? oo! Or we could go to the Room of Requirement again! Cadence suggested.

"That sounds amazing! let's go!" Set said as he got up.

Okay! Cadence said, getting up and throwing her backpack over her shoulder and grabbing Set's hand as they walked out of the Great Hall.

Kayla made her way into the great hall and over to the Hufflepuff table. She needed food and lots of it. So many classes, homework, looking after out of control first years took a lot out of a girl. She plopped down onto a vacant seat and sighed deeply before grabbing a plate and putting everything her hands could reach onto it.

Cayden headed to the great hall as he was going to grab something to drink before headed back to his commons. Look at that...it was his favorite hufflepuff. he headed over to her table as he sat down with his back against the table. he looked over at her as he simply smiled at her and gave her a wink.

Kayla looked up with her mouth wide open as she was about to devour her food when someone sat down at the table. She quickly closed her mouth and smiled back at Cayden. "What? No hello or some flirty remark" Kayla gave herself a once over. "Hmm...must be losing my touch" she gave him a wink back. "So what do I owe the pleasure of your fine company?"

he looked at her as he tapped his finger on his lip for a second as he then moved to sit at the table like a normal person." I should of taken a picture of you with your mouth open. It would of been an awesome christmas card." he smiled at her as she asked about a hello." Well if your begging for it. Hello Kayla. How are you today?" he asked her as he moved to pour himself something to drink." Im just here for the drink really, but i spotted you. Thought i would come and enjoy some company of normal people. Did i tell you that i missed you lately?" he chuckled a little as he took a drink.

"Oh yes an extremely amusing Christmas card no doubt" she replied dryly and then chuckled at his little greeting. "I'm just splendid now Cayden, maybe it has something to do with the company." Kayla burst out laughing at that. "You think I'm normal...well you would have to be the only one" she raised an eyebrow at him. "No you didn't. Tell me again Cayden" she teased as she poured herself a drink.

"indeed. Im glad you thought so as well." ha of course she was splendid now. he was here."You do know splendid is like some sort of sugar somewhere in another country."or something like that." Well...it is true." he added when she knew she enjoyed his company. he snickered as she talked about her not being normal." Hey. you werent stuck in a library study with Elizabeth, lyra, mari and robert. You...are amazing. Besides the obvious." he sighed as their wasnt any funk in the air with kayla. he shook his head as she told him to tell her again." You look Hot today. better?" he asked her as he took his drink with a small chuckle. she loved her praise.

"I think you'll find it's called Splender" she said laughing. Kayla listened as he spoke of his study session. "Ah...I see, now I understand what you mean. Elizabeth is okay, I've never had a problem with her although she does seem a little scared of me. She seems to freeze and wears a horrified a look everytime she sees me. Lyra, is just plain crazy." There were no more words for Lyra then that. "You know how I feel about Robert, the guy is a jerk and Mari...well Mari and I have come to a little understanding" she shrugged, she wasn't going to say anymore than that. Kayla blushed slightly at Cayden's compliment, "Oh I don't know about amazing" she whispered, she definitely preferred the flirting. "Of course, don't I always" she replied giving her hair a flip.

he smiled as she said it was splender." I knew that. You are laughing at my joke. Good thing you knew what it was, otherwise it would of been a poor joke." he listen to her as she talked about each person." i dont know much about elizabeth but she does seem to talk a lot." when she talked about lyra he looked over at her as he then asked her." You know she gives me dirty looks for saying things about robert. Maybe you could use your inner house magic and make her stop." it was worth a shot. that was about the end of that bit. He wasnt going to say anything about robert seeing as they both knew how the other felt about him. Mari was a different story for him, but no need to spring that on her. he chuckled as she started to speak in a whisper." Im sure...Why are we whispering?" he asked her as he was whispering as well." And no one always looks good. Im pretty sure you dont wake up looking like that."

"Like I said Lyra, is plain crazy" Kayla sighed, she too had seen the way the two of them behaved around each other. "I don't think she'll listen, I've already had my say about Robert in front of her and the girl seems to have her blinders on when it comes to him." Well each to their own she supposed but seriously she thought Lyra, had more taste than that.

"Because I'm not used to compliments like that" she admitted. "I know where I stand when I'm flirting or being flirted with" she chuckled again. "That is true I don't, but I do try my best though" she gave him a wink. "So you obviously didn't need my help getting around the castle" she gave him a small pout. "And I was so looking forward to it to."

"Yeah." he smiled a little as she seemed to think it was also a poor choice. at least someone else shared his feeling as well. He knew he liked her for a reason."Blinders...Yeah if you want to call them that." more like she had blinders at the size of plates. he stared at her as he raised an eye brow at her as she said she had never been complimented like that."Wait...So you've never had anyone tell you that you were hot?" Man...France and here was completely different. when she talked about the castle he smiled a little." what? I only went to the library. Im waiting for you to show me around. If you werent so slow you could of shown me the library. I'll wait for you to finish eating and then you can show me around." he added as he nodded a little." i was too. I mean you know the ins and outs. You and your flashy badge." he snickered a little as he knew she loved her badge.

Kayla had to laugh. "Well of course Nicholai compliments me but I don't think he's ever called me 'hot' actually I think you are the first guy to say that to me" she continued to giggle. Nico, had a more refined way of complimenting her. She picked up a chicken drumstick and took a bit out of it. "We might be here awhile" she pointed to her plate. "I'm rather hungry today" she giggled. "So what would you like to see first? The bamboo forest is pretty cool and stop going on about the badge" she groaned and rolling her eyes.

Hmm.."Must be a culture difference thing. Or just a Cayden thing." he gave her a small shrug as he was pretty much always straight forward when he decided he was going to say it. he looked down at her plate as she stared a little." I think you eat more then i do..." he smiled a little as he moved to grab an apple."yeah i can see that." he added when she talked about being hungry. he turned his attention to her as she asked what he wanted to see first. " Hey. Dont start." he told her when she talked about her badge." It could be worse. You could look like this." he moved to make a fish face as he crossed his eyes. Just being goofy. he smiled at her as he added," You know the ladies go crazy for that face." he smiled as he moved to take a bite of the apple." Bamboo forest thing sounds great, but isnt china the only place bamboo is suppose to grow? Its their thing isnt it? it like stealing their mojo."
