Cadence and Melanie walked into the Great Hall, arms still linked, and took seats together at the Hufflepuff table. Do you mind if I call you Lanie? Cadence asked, realizing that she had never asked Melanie if she approved of this nickname.

Do you have any nicknames?" she asked curiously. She could think of some like Caddie or something along those lines, but she wanted to see if Cadence had any before Hogwarts... or that she just made up off the top of her head. | |

"Ohhh. Got it!" she picked a napkin off the tale thatseemed to have appeared out of no where and wiped her face off, looking down at the chocolate on the napkin she blushed a bit. "Oops..." She grinned sheepishly at Cadence, glad that she had been the only one to see that. "My bad. Sooo What do you wanna do after this?" she asked, digging into some chocolate pudding. MMM Chocolate! | |

Keefer sat quietly alone at the Hufflepuff table. He was a bit of an awkward person, so sometimes people avoided him. But that was just fine in his opinion. Today's eccentricity was that it looked like his neck kept twitching at irregular intervals. He was enjoying a semi-solitary dinner while working on his Astronomy homework. He glanced out the window yet again to check the distance between two stars, which served to explain the random twitches to careful observers. Making a note on his parchment, he carefully drew a constellation.
