Understanding what Spence was saying Harley purely nodded then replied "Trust me you will love it, Its all the fun off muggle snowball fights but sooo much warmer on the hands"

Melanie bounded into the common room, wiped out from the race there. Her cat apparently had somehow escaped from her dorm and was currently trying it's best to.... mutilate a chair. "Momo!" she shouted, running over to the cat. He ran from her as all cats do when you yell. After much chasing around the common room she managed to scoop him up in her arms, scolding him. The soft black cat fur was covering her robes but it didn't really matter since her robe was also black. She almost tripped over her own feet, the weight of the cat also weighing her down. Melanie let out a sigh of relief she was glad to find Momo before he discovered someone's rat. Melanie petted it fondly and started toward the door she had just seen another girl enter. "Hey Ema!" she said, waving to the girl she had talked to at the feast. Melanie opened the door to the dorms and simply followed the tunnel.

Yes! Their Common Room! And just as Kaika suspected, she wasn't tired anymore. There was something about the first day that when she entered the Common Room the sleep simply went away. An interesting reaction, indeed.

Or it was probably the fact that being already in here meant that they'd truly started school. And she was back for real.

Her eyes widened as soon as she saw someone she didn't see back in the Hall. "Evaaaaaa!" she exclaimed, and started to walk towards the fellow Huffie before giving her a hug. "It's been so long....how have you been? How was your summer?!" she started to ask, as she took a seat in the room.

Emalyn nodded. "Yeah...woah wait, you're easy to relate to?" Emalyn laughed. "Just kidding. I can see why you would love her so much. And yes, I know exactly what you mean!"

Emalyn smiled broadly at Melanie, the girl she had had a very nice discussion with at the start of term feast. She waved at her as the girl was heading to the dormitory. "Hi Melanie! Your cat is adorable!" While she was on the subject of cats with Ella, she figured it was a quite decent thing to say. Emalyn doubted that her guinea pig would be allowed at Hogwarts, but if it would've been, it wouldn't have lasted long.

Kayla entered the common room and looked around to see who was here. She saw Eva and Kaika and she gave them a smile and a wave before heading over and sitting down next to Penny. "Hey girl, how's it going?" she asked quietly as the older girl seemed to be lost in thought. "Sorry I didn't get to talk to you during the feast. But how was your summer?"

Eva stod up as someone screamed her name. With exciment and smiles, she saw who was it.
"Kaika!!" she exclaimed in the same tone. She hugged Kaika and chuckled with the questions.
"Bah. Normal I guess. Lonely." she replied. "How about you, Miss Captain?" she winked. "How have you been?" it was her turn to ask. "This year you'll be the one to lead the badgers to victory. How does that feel like?"

Aw, it felt good to be back.

The girl waved back at Kayla and smiled. They'd have a lot of time to catch up later.

Jessica smiled, being quite surprised, but nevertheless content that Harley remembered meeting her.
"Yes, I'm disappointed by the points too. Do you know why we had so many deducted? What happened?" the girl inquired.
"So have you wandered in the castle yet?" she asked.

Set was still in his armchair waiing for Cadnce. He stared into the fire day dreaming about Quiditch. "Wait", he said! "I still need to check the notice board for Quidditch tryouts!" Set ran over to the notice board to check.

Cadence walked around the common room looking for Set and worrying about John. She felt bad for leaving him there, but she didn't have a story to tell the prefect, so she thought it would be best for her to return to the common room. She found Set sitting in an arm chair by the fire. Walking over to the chair next to me, she sat down and said, Hey Set. Guess what. Something bad already happened...

Pulling her long brunette hair into a messy ponytail, Vanessa Corbette wandered into the common room. She had to admit now, that she was a little bit happy to be back here, she'd missed it. And thanks to Miles her bad mood had lifted a little, but she still felt rather sad, not that she was going to tell anyone why. She wasn't even going to tell Miles, and that took a lot.
She managed to smile a little as she looked at the familar common room, okay so made she was a little more than a little happy to be here. Sighing, she approached a empty couch and sat down.

Abby is delighted Ray offered to walk her to the Hufflepuff Common Room. She didn't realize how detailed the layout if the castle is. "Thank you for walking me to the common room. I don't think I could have found it on my own. You said you are the last of the Hufflepuff line, so you don't have any brothers and sisters either?"

Jim walked into the common room and sat down on the sofa.

Oh, the new Prefect! How amazing it was for Kayla to become such an authority. Amazing, indeed. Who would have thought that she would become a Prefect?

Kaika waved back and smiled as she came in. About the same time as she did, just a few seconds away. She'll be talking to her soon, considering she haven't heard from her since last year.

Huh. This answer actually confused Kaika, "Lonely, how come?" lonely at Hogwarts? How was such a thing even possible? Well, it could be possible, but slightly odd.

Oh, she knew already! Though, it was obvious that people had to know, since it was sort of announced by Miranda during the welcoming feast. "You know, I'm simply happy to be back" she nodded and her smile widened, "Oh, I certainly hope so...but each Captain is soooo talented, that I bet the teams are going to fight back" she commented, and it was true, the Captains will be choosing the best players, therefore it will be a great team, "Umm, well, it feels both good and bad...but mostly good" of course, the pressure was entirely different when you were Captain and not just a player...but she'll get over that when the tryouts are over.

"Hey, how's Sebastian doing?" that was the boy's name, right?

"Hey!" said Ella, laughing. "Yeah I love her a whole lot." She kissed the top of Cleo's furry head. "Want to hold her?" she asked Ema.

"What, what's wrong?" Set said getting up. "Is everything OK" he looked around expecting to see someone on fire or something. Then he looked at Cadence at knew that they were not in any immediate danger. "What happened?" he asked.

Lyra yawned as she walked into the common room. It was time to do something, meet new people and perhaps visit some of the new professors. If she was going to be on The Quill, she needed to know at least all professors in order to know exactly what everyone was speaking of.

She paused at a table and took out a piece of parchment and a new quill from her bag and began to writing a letter. This time it was too Banana as she needed to speak to her and inform her of the good news, along with everyone else of course. Once she was finished, she folded the paper in an airplane and sent it off. She then launched her bookbag over her shoulder and headed out of the common room for a new adventure.

Well, it's John. Cadence began warily. He's not hurt or anything, just really shaken. He was up on the second floor with a couple of people, both first years as well, I think. And Peeves, a poltergeist who used to live inside Hogwarts years ago and then left and has now come back, threw dung bombs at them. She teared up at the thought of leaving John behind so scared. Professor Shackleton and one of the Gryffindor prefects showed up and wanted to hear what happened and then we were all to go back to our common rooms. Well, I didn't really have a story to tell so... so I had to leave and come back here. I hope he's okay. I told him I'd wait on him...

*Gabben walked into the common room with a big smile on his face. He grabbed a high back chair by the fire and pulled out a book and started to read. After a good hour he frowned and finished his book.*

"Better see if they got in new books this year in the library." *He got up and walked out of the common room.*

"Do you think we should go to the hospital wing to see him?" asked Set.

No.... I think we better wait for him here. I don't want to get in trouble wandering the school... Cadence replied with a worried glance at the common room door.

Ana walked into the common room and the first thing she heard was Cadence telling Set that John, that she had briefly met had some problems with a poltergeist. Ana walked near them and said. "Is everything alright with John. What really happened?" she asked looking at Cadence and Set.

Peeves, the poltergeist who used to terrorize Hogwarts, has come back now. He threw dung bombs at John, a first year Gryffindor named... Rose I believer her name was, and I didn't catch the other person's name. He's really shaken up. Cadence recounted the story to Ana, all the while being disturbed by the lack of John's entrance into the common room.

"Oh... i read about Peeves... You'll see John is fine... and the girl too" she smiled noticing that Cadence was a little nervous.

Thanks Ana. She said genuinely, appreciating Ana's reassuring smile and confidence that John would be okay. Ana, will you come with me to the dormitory? I want to tell you something?
