Adrianna shivered as she felt another gust from the door. Suddenly, she heard someone talking to her and she turned to see a taller Ravenclaw. "These?" she asked, looking at the Cochroach clusters. "I wouldn't dare..." she said with a shudder. "Have you ever tried them?" she asked, suddenly curious. She looked back at the row of candy, her eyes tracing over the strange candy. "In fact, is any of this edible?" she asked, a smile spreading on her lips. "For us at least... I mean, blood pops for vampires maybe?" she added, not wanting to offend the shop keepers.

There was a sudden flash, and she waited for the spots to clear from her eyes. "What was that?" she asked, putting her hand to her forehead. She looked around and saw a girl with a camera. "That was some flash," she said as the dots began to fade.

Smiling at the girl's slight shudder, she replied with a grimace, "Yes, once. It wasn't by choice though - my friends thought it would be funny. To put it politely, they taste disgusting. They couldn't stop laughing at the expression on my face after I put the sweet in my mouth." She cracked a smile as she remembered the incident, "I can imagine I looked pretty hilarious." Looking at the sweets again, she shuddered a little herself, feeling the taste of them on her tongue again and trying to get rid of it.
"But some people like them you know," she said, trying to look at it from someone else's perspective, "I mean, people have different preferences; who knows, maybe you'd like them too," she added with an encouraging smile, though I doubt it.
Opening her mouth to say something, her vision was suddenly blinded by a camera flash. "Whoa!" she exclaimed, rubbing her eyes to get rid of the residue of the unexpected flash. Groaning, she heard the girl say something and nodded her head in agreement, not really knowing what she had said but guessing the general point.
Eyesight back to normal, she scanned the shop a couple of times, finally spotting a camera behind the chocolate fountain and grimaced. "Great... My picture for the yearbook this year will depict me looking like a fish. Brilliant!" she said as she waved at the girl with the camera, knowing it would be useless to try to get her to delete the picture.

Miranda had tried to crouch behind the table, but the camera sort of banged against the surface and she almost toppled backwards. And then her cover was blown. Yeah, she knew because Miranda merrily waved back at the prefect before realising what she had done. Oh...hmmm...

Shrugging and grinning, Miranda walked over to the girl, seeing another girl there too and then at the candy they were looking at. Making a face, she turned back to the students.
"You know, I think the chocolate frogs would taste alot better" she nodded matter-of-factly. She cocked an eyebrow as something came to mind, "Unless you are a vampire or something..." Miranda grinned at the girl.

Turning and looking up at the prefect now, she raised the camera. "Im taking a picture for the yearbook!" she paused. Sort of waiting for her reaction even though she knew it would have been good to continue saying why she was doing what she was doing. "Of the Prefects! For the yearbook!" Miranda added after a moment, almost staring at the Prefect.

Her thoughts drifted away to why she had come in here in the first place. Chocolate frogs...mmmmm...Wait...The Prefect! - "Can I take another picture? You know, to be sure, incase the first one was all blurry or something." Miranda smiled.

Rachel smiled back at the girl with the camera, she nodded at the first year girl, agreeing. "And since you don't seem to be a vampire..." she trailed off with another kind smile before turning to face the camera girl. "So I figured," she replied drily, eyeing the camera with distate and nodding as camera girl further explained her reason for taking the photo. She waited for the girl to continue and grew slightly self concious as she kept silent and sort of stared at her.
"Do I have something on my face?" she asked worriedly with a confused expression, lifting her hands to try and feel the dirt. How embarassing... Now on top of me looking like a fish, I apparently look like one who has been rolling in the sand or whatever.
Her hands dropped as the girl continued and Rachel nodded feverently, happy that she could take another picture to replace the previous one. "Yeah sure - but please, do I or do I not have something on my face?" she repeated apprehensively with a small smile at both girls. "And I'm Rachel, by the way," she added as an afterthought, her manners - as always - kicking in late, holding out her hand.

Oooh, that would be so awesome, meeting a vampire! Miranda's eyes glazed over as she started to imagine meeting a vampire. Maybe the girl was one. Although a frown appeared on her face as the fantasy started to become scary. Eh, hmmm... No.
Her head snapped up as a voice broke her concentration.
"Ummm..." Squinting her eyes, Miranda started to search for any abnormalities in the Prefect's face. "Nope, clean as a duck after dipping its feet in water!" She grinned. Whyyy had she said that? It sounded right in her head. No wait, Miranda hadn't even thought of what to say...

"Nice to meet you Rachel! Im Miranda," she still grinned and gladly shook the Prefect's hand. Usually she would just take a picture and run away, Miranda wasn't sure people cared who she was. But this was nice.
"Get ready to say Butterbeer!" Miranda hopped in a goofy way and shook the camera infront of her.

Miranda started to walk backwards, looking through the lens, not really caring if she toppled over something, trying to get the whole of Rachel. Almost...Oops her hair dissapeared there...ok, ready!

Rachel chuckled at camera girl's response, amused by her antics. "Well, I suppose that means I'm clean," she said with a beaming smile at the girl, liking her almost instantly. "It's lovely to meet you Miranda!" she replied quite enthusiastically, feeling very childish for a minute and wondered whether camera girl spread her happiness around or whether she was just feeling odd today. She decided to go for the first option.
"Ok, I'm ready," she said with another laugh at camera gi- Miranda as she backed off, almost knocking over the display of cockroach clusters. "Careful there," she warned her, gesturing towards individual displays with her hands, smilng an encouraging though slightly worried smile as the girl continued walking backwards. Sighing in relief as she reached a spot where she apparently looked satisfied, Rachel got into a comfortable position in front of the camera and prepared herself for the blinding flash that was soon to come.

"Oops..." Miranda's muffled voice was heard as she kept walking backwards. She could see Rachel slightly worried about witnessing the candy all over the floor, but Miranda was ever so...Who's she kidding, she didn't care if the 'vampire candy' was destroyed.

She had one thing in mind, and that was the chocolate frogs. No wait, the picture! Ofcourse!

Raising her hand above her head, Miranda showed Rachel a thumbs up,
"Say Butterbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!" aaaaaaaaand
*clickshhh*

"Uh..." What in the world? Where did the flash go? The camera had not taken a picture! Frowning, Miranda lowered the camera to look at it. "Did you see a flash?" she asked the girls, wondering if maybe the over exposure of flashes had made her iris go kaputt. She shook it, as if almost expecting to hear some sloshing sounds inside, or...maybe...something loose tinkling.

Oh no! Had it gone bad when I accidentaly slammed it against the table?
Shaking it again, Miranda pressed her finger on the button again...
*ffffffffffffLASH!*

"Arrgh!" This seriously has to stop! My eyeees! Blinking away the bright light and tears that had formed while the eyes stinged, Miranda looked at the camera. Here eyes grew wide in confusion. There was another button right beside the...first button.
"What does this button do?" was it there before? Hmmm... "Uh, sorry about that! I've found the correct button now!" she grinned, hoping the Prefect wasn't annoyed at her lack of... photoshopping.

Rachel smiled cheerfully instead of saying butterbeer. She never said cheese either... Waiting for the blinding flash to go off, she blinked as she heard a click but no flash. "Er... No, I don't think you had the flash turned on," she said, walking forward so that she could lend a hand with the camera if camera girl - Miranda - needed help. I have to stop calling her camera girl...
She almost made it to Miranda when the girl clicked the button again and Rachel could see white then absolute darkness. "I think that flash worked this time," she said dryly, rubbing her pained eyes to get them to see again. "Do you want help?" she asked as he eyes came back into focus, rubbing away the tears that had formed in the corners. "It's ok..." she replied tiredly, going back to her previous position. This girl is quite a character! she thought as she got into position, grinning at the dreaded camera and it's flash again.

"This shop is awesome!" Vindictus exclaimed loudly as he walked into the shop and made a direct beeline to a display of boxed chocolates. Bon-bons to be exact. He grabbed three boxes and headed over to the register where it was obvious that the clerk knew him. "These and the usual," he grinned and plunked down the coins for the sweets. "Delivery? Of course! Same location as always." And of course, left his customary large tip for the shop owner. "Cherrio, mate!"

The Ravenclaw Head of House was completely oblivious to the fact that students were in the store and whistled cheerfully on the way out. More shopping had to be done....

"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeh" Miranda wheezed as she saw Rachel's expression at being flashed. This wasn't a good start. But it was a start!
"I think I got it now, its this button... Not that one..." she trailed off showing the Prefect what Miranda meant. "Thanks!"

Ok, now she has it. Raising the camera again, Miranda squeezed shut her left eye and looked through the apparatus with her right. There's Rachel... Right. There. One... Two... Thr-
*FLASH*

"Wooo!" Miranda cheered with wide eyes, blinking. I have no idea where she's standing, but it was awesome!

Cedric entered the honeydukes-candy shop and he want to spread the gossip event between kayla and plymouth..as he entered he saw a couple of students and talk to them.."hey!there..do you know Plymouth and Kayla...I saw them kissed"...Cedric said

Emalyn entered Honeydukes, looking around. In her first year, she did not go to Hogsmeade, because she was so caught up in Hogwarts. She was already amazed by all the little shops and what they all held! Especially this candy store...Emalyn's favorite kind of shop.
She looked around at all it's contents, but couldn't seem to make a decision. She had hardly eaten any type of wizarding candy, besides chocolate frogs and Bertie Botts.

Tony bounced into the candy shop and proceeded to order a little of everything in the store - literally everything. He grabbed his bag and skipped up to the counter, fumbling with his money as he paid the cashier. He began to skip out the door of the store, stuffing a chocolate frog in his mouth as he did so. Those were his favorite - no wait! He loved sugar quills and crystallized pineapple, too. With that thought, he jammed a piece of crystallized pineapple in his mouth to compliment the chocolate.

Lima walked into the candy store and headed right to the chocolate. She had a bad craving and wanted a huge slab of it. Though there were a few other treats that she wanted as well. Everything looked so good. Well, not the Cockroach Clusters. Shudder. She bit her lip, grabbed a chocolate bar and continued to look around.

Whit walked through the door and looked around. She'd never been to Honeydukes but she was loving it already. No child should have access to that much candy. It wouldn't be good for her. Strolling through the store she passed every section,just to look around when she spotted a blonde haired girl not too much taller than her. She knew that hair from a mile or two away. Whit sneaked up and tackle hugged her from behind. "Limaaaaa!!!" She'd been wanting to talk to her.

She started as she was suddenly grabbed from behind in a hug. Then she realized it was Whit. "Whitttt," she exclaimed turning around to face the girl while still hugging her. Then she suddenly let go. "Did you talk to Mads yet?" she then blurted out excitedly, giving the girl a hopeful look.

How did Whit know that Lima would automatically ask her that? It wasn't that she knew her too well,that was for sure. "I did actually. And...I lived!" That was one thing she still couldn't believe. He had seemed so mean and he'd obviously gotten upset more than once,and yet....he hadn't eaten her! "Can you believe it Lima?" She just wanted to do a little jig. But Lima would want to know everything first. 'Just remember to sugar coat it.'

She squealed. "Tell me what he said! Does he hate me? Please say he doesn't hate me! I can't live with him hating me." She was getting a bit worked up, but she wanted to know so badly. She didn't want to face him hating her on top of everything else. "And I told you that he wouldn't eat you! He's really nice."

Lima was way too excited now. It was cute though. "Okay what he said was......" Maybe Whit could have a little fun first. "Oh my gosh did you know that his middle name is Ryder? So his first, middle and last names are all two syllables; that's crazy! Madd-ox Ry-der Dar-cy." She still loved how that sounded. If only her name was all two syllables,even if she didn't have a middle name. 'Oh wait...it is.' Trying to hide her cheeks turning a light pink she said, "He may be nice but he can be a huge kill joy,I'll admit to that much." She still wasn't happy that he'd killed the fun she was supposed to have with her own questions.

She snorted at the first comment. "Yeah, I know. His father's name was Ryder." She smiled, but was secretly wanting the girl to just say if he hated her or not already. Then she called him a kill joy. Her face fell. "He hates me?" She suddenly wanted to cry.

"I found that out too" she replied with a big smile. It was so "Ryder" like....almost like "rider" only.....with a y. That was when she heard Lima assume he hated her. Where had that come from? "What?!?! No Lima! He doesn't hate you. I was getting there. I just meant he didn't let me have fun with my own questions. I'm sorry." She hadn't meant to scare her. And now she looked like she wanted to cry. "Don't cry!!!" So much commotion for one question.

"He told you about his father?" She was slightly surprised. But then, hey, he always found it so much easier telling other people things about himself than he ever did with her. Then she said that he didn't hate her. "Don't do, that, Whit! You scared me!" She sniffled and wiped her tears. "So he doesn't hate me... Does he miss me then?"

Had he told her about his father? "Umm...not not really. I mentioned the two syllables in his name and he said that his middle name and last name were the same." With that she tilted her head and tried to remember how his name had com about. "Oh! And then I told him that his name wasn't going to be Maddox Bob Darcy." Now she was laughing again. Just the thought of that being his name was funny. Calming down she continued with, "And he told me his middle name was Ryder. Which,obviously,proved not me that his middle name wasn't Bob or Bill and it was two syllables." That sounded about right. She gave a half smile as she saw that she hadn't messed up yet."Right....what he said was....." And now,unsurprisingly,she was struggling to remember his words. "Okay no. Basically......he doesn't not think about you." 'I didn't even have to lie!!!' What she said wasn't a lie it just wasn't exactly what he said.

She nodded. "Okay, for a second I thought he told you what happened to his father. That makes more sense. And Bob?" She laughed. Then she said that he doesn't not think about her. What does that mean?!?! "So... he like thinks about me at times? I dunno if that's a good thing or not." She frowned.

"Umm...nope. I figured something had happened though so...I just....moved away from the subject." Using past term verbs couldn't be good unless it was something like...ran. Then it could be "My dad ran to the market" and she would just think it was something that happened during the Summer break. Lima's next comment made Whit think more. Why did she have to make it so hard for her? Surely saying "he doesn't think about you as much as he used to," wasn't good. She just figured she'd try something else. "So...you don't know if Maddox thinking about you is good?"
