Copernicus was more than willing to finish answered the questions, although he wasn't too clear on... environmental impacts. He'd do the best he could. Time Period: 2051-2061 Question 1 (asked to specialist from the Ministry?): What is the environmental impact of these attacks? Ministry employee Ima Gardner: The spells that were cast during the fierce duels with the Hogwarts staff and Lord Voldemortist left some impact on the grounds. Some of the trees on the grounds and edge of the forest sustained damage and many of the creatures who frequent the grounds were traumatized by the event. It took them many years to truly trust that Hogwarts was safe for them. Question 2 (asked to former Headmistress Rae or Board of Governors): What increased security measures have come about because of Voldemortist's attacks? Headmistress Rae: After each attack of Lord Voldemortist, we were able to ascertain different weaknesses to the security of the school and make changes accordingly. When his people infiltrated our grounds, we became much better about double and triple checking references and staying in contact with the other schools responsible for guarding the Book of Mysteria with us. In addition, we tightened the wards and spells safe-guarding the school. Question 3 (Asked to Hogsmeade shopkeeper/ home owner): And what impact did these attacks have on the residents of Hogsmeade? Hogsmeade Resident Bob Somebody: Because Voldemortist's attacks were not focused on Hogsmeade, many residents did not discover what had happened until after the fact. They felt unsafe, and some felt guilt for not being able to help prevent student deaths, but the deep psychological scars and PTSD or survivor's guilt were not wide spread in the village. They were more deeply effected by the mob attacks that happened more recently. Copernicus polished the draft and read it over several times before he went up and turned it in. |
Maddox quickly jotted down the notes before he answered his questions. He wanted to make sure he had all the information that Professor Truebridge wrote on the board before he finished up. Once he was done, he then turned to his questions. He grabbed his phoenix feather quill, and started to write. 1935-1945 Story theme: The Death of Myrtle Interviewee: People of the wizarding community Questions: Do you think the Professor's searched the School thoroughly enough for the chamber of secrets? Interviewee Persona: Normal Everyday Kind hearted wizard: Personally I believe that they have done the best they could with the knowledge they have of the castle. It is not their fault that Salazar Slytherin decided to hide a secret chamber with no map to find it. How do you think this will affect the reputation of Hogwarts School of witch craft and wizardry? Interviewee Persona: Snoby, upperclass, older witch: I believe that Hogwarts will maintain its good reputation as long as there is no more trouble from this supposed 'Chamber of Secrets.' Hogwarts is a prestigious school and should be thus treated. What kind of beast do you think was in the chamber of secrets that killed this poor girl? Interviewee Persona: Crazy, excitable, witch: Hmm well now that you mention it, it could be a giant Huffimorphugas. They are kinda like extremely large butterflies, but with fangs instead of those sucker things. Yeah..I've seen them... up close! I'm lucky to be alive. Yep. Maddox read over his answers again and chuckled. He liked them. Though he hated his hand writting. But there wasnt much he could do about that. He quietly placed his paper on the professor's desk, and walked back to his seat. |
Kayla finally finished writing her questions and answers and picked up her parchment to give it a final proof read. Quote:

finishing assignment :P As they were told to finish answering the questions and turn their papers in before the end of class, Elizabeth jumped a little. At some point she had completely zoned out, so, quickly scribbling down the notes from the class discussion on a separate parchment, she then glanced at Mari. "So, do you want to answer any of the questions, or should I just write something down and then have you look at it?," she asked her friend quietly. Especially since she'd feel guilty if she had done all the work, but also felt like she needed to get Mari some credit too. "Um, I guess I'll at least answer the first question. Then you can look at it, and see what you want to answer," she then said to her friend, before glancing down at her parchment again. Quote:

Anna listened as the professor discussed several different types of questons with the class. She jotted down a few notes and then hurried to complete her questions for Rubeus Hagrid before the class was over. Time Period: 1935-1945 Focus: Rubeus Hagrid and the Chamber of Secrets Interviewer: Anna Bella Greingoth Interviewee: Rubeus Hagrid 1. What were your initial thoughts and feelings when you found that you, an innocent, young Gryffindor, were the one being accused of opening the Chamber of Secrets? Did you ever feel as if you were being betrayed by the school that meant so much to you? How did you deal with the pressures of being accused of this? My initial thought was that someone was playing an extremely cruel trick on me. I thought some of the older students had gotten together and decided to get a good laugh at my expense. As the hours ticked by, and I was still being held for questioning, I began to realize that what I was being accused of was no trick. The school I'd come to love so much honestly believed I had found the Chamber of Secrets and opened it. At that point, I began to get scared. I was scared that I would never be proven innocent, and that I was going to die at only fourteen-years-old. I wanted desperately to find a way to prove I was innocent, but I didn't even know where to begin. I didn't necessarily feel betrayed by the school, because they were only acting upon what they'd been told. I did feel betrayed by the one who'd lied to them, though. After all was said and done, I dealt with my fate by holding my head high and trying to make the best life for myself that I could. 2. Of course we all know that you were innocent when it came to opening that dreadful chamber. Putting aside the fact that you were wrongly accused of opening it, how did you, as a young student, feel when you learned the Chamber of Secrets was opened? What did it mean to you to know that such a horrible place with a horrible purpose had been opened? From the beginning, even before I found out that I was the one being blamed for the chamber's opening, I was angered that someone---someone amongst us in our happy home at Hogwart's---had enough hatred inside of them to do such a dreadful deed. I wanted to become the hero and help the school find the one who'd opened it, so that he or she couldn't harm any of the innocent students or faculty in the school. I also wanted to figure out a way to destroy the Chamber, so that it would never have a chance at opening again. 3. Years later, in your adult life, you became part of the staff at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In some way, did you feel as if being hired in this position made up for the fact that you were once expelled from the very school you were now employed at? Hogwarts has always been my home. It was my home as a student, and it was my home as groundskeeper. When I was removed from the school due to the opening of the Chamber of Secrets, I was heartbroken and homesick. The school life that I'd always dreamt about had been stolen from me. So yes, in many, many ways did I feel that coming home to Hogwarts once again made up for the years I'd lost. I know I'll never be able to completely gain back my years as a student, but at least I'm able to have some part in the place that I've come to hold so close to my heart. |
Abby finishes her questions. She reads over them, and then takes them to Professor Trubridge's desk. Abby turns them in. Time Period: 2051-2061 Question 1 (asked to Lord Voldemortist) how were you able to obtain access to the castle six times? I attended school at Drumstrung, but I have always been fascinated with Albus Dumbledore and Hogwarts. I studied every book I could get my hands on about them. I memorized the floor plans of Hogwarts. I know that castle like the back of my hand. It only seemed natural when the DADA position became available I applied for it. I taught at Hogwarts for five years (2042-2047) using the name Anton Durskurk. I used my spare time to explore the castle and grounds. I know where all the secret rooms and secret passageways are. I also became friendly with my fellow staff members. I learned their strengths and weaknesses. That information proved useful in my early attempts to steal the Book of Mysteria. I used other sources of information to plan my other attempts to steal the book. Question 2 (asked to Niamh Nostal, nurse at Hogwarts (2053-2056) what effect did the Draught of Ephemera have on the former ghosts? Initially the former ghost showed no adverse effect from the draught. They were all exhausted of course, but, other than that, they looked the same as they had when they were ghosts. Then they started to change. You see, when the draught created their bodies, it created bodies that were the same age as when the professors died. A while after their spirits inhabited the new bodies, they started aging at a rabid rate. The aging process stopped once the new bodies at reached the age the professors should have been in 2054. This rapid aging process affected Professor Airlia, being the oldest former ghost, the worse. She had to stay in the hopital wing for several weeks. A fourth ghost. Sir Theodore Puppington did not survive the transformation. He attempted to perform the transformation on his own using Professor Rae as his host. Professor Rae had been critically wounded in a duel with Lord Voldemotrist. Sir Puppington was the first person to find her. He apparently hoped he could create a new body and then would be able to transport Professor Rae to the hospital Wing. Professor Rae had suffered a large blood lose and could not handle the transformation process. Sir Puppington realized this and went on to the next life. Professor Lainey and the Hufflepuff and Slytherin prefects found Professor Rae and got her to the hospital wing in time to save her life. Question 3 (asked to Professor Kris Airlia, Potion Master, Howarts, 2051-1022) Since Professor Airlia died on 19 March 2055, Miss Wright asked Professor Kapoor to contact Professor Airlia via a séance. The Draught of Ephermera is a very ancient form of magic. It in cooperates both potion and charms. A special potion is brewed. A witch or wizard drinks it. This witch or wizard will be the host for the ghost. The ghost will inhabit the host body and use it stem cells to create a new body for herself. The incantation is performed. It and a special branch draw the ghost’s spirit into the host’s body. The potion uses the host’s stem cell to help the spirit grow a new body. The spirit exists the body, and their new body materializes. The former ghost starts breathing on her own. The process is complete. |
Five minutes!? That really was such a short amount of time. Varius felt very under pressure now to hurry up and be Voldie and answer that last bloomin' question. "Okay Jake, make sure to get this down," Varius ordered, rather rudely actually, before clearing his throat in order to prepare for his next, much eviler, part. "What do you mean why did I kill that wretched little, acne ridden, Ravenclaw scum? I did no such thing... I think you will find it was the Basilisk roaming round the castle that commited the murder... if Hogwarts was a bit more careful with what they kept in their castle there would be no need to question me with such ridiculous questions! Now get outta mah face, before I curse you to oblivion! *hisssssssssssssssssssss*" "How was that?" Varius asked, hoping that this would be the end of this torturous assignment. His feet were so sore... despite having to sit down the entire time... but he could BLAME it on HOM, right? RIGHT? |
Agie had finally finished her questions: Time Period: 1990-2000ish Interviewer: Agie Brandywine Interviewee: Oliver Wood Question 1: How did if feel, winning the Quidditch cup in your final year? It was the best feeling of my life. It was my final year and we had worked so hard for it. It takes a lot of effort, you know? And we were the dream team. We so deserved it. We would have won, in the last 3 years of my schooling if it weren't for certain circumstances. Question 2: By certain circumstances, you mean by Harry Potter getting injured and not being able to play... right? Do you blame Harry? Noooo, of course not. That kid was amazing. I knew it from the moment I saw him fly. He just had a special talent. To be honest, I don't think we could have done it without him. It wasn't his fault that he missed the game. He was off being Harry Potter. I couldn't change that about him. The point that matters is that we pulled together on the final game and won! Gooo Gryffindor! Question 3: Was it an honour to be signed up for Puddlemere United Reserve Team or were you disappointed not to make the top team? I was not disappointed at all. Yes, I only made the reserves, but it eventually led to playing with the championship team. I was lucky to get signed up right away and I loved playing for the best team ever. It was all I ever wanted. |
Cale scribbled his answers down really quickly. Hmmm, who should he interview? Quickly, he picked someone randomly and jotted down a few questions and answers. Time was ticking! Time Period: 1987-1997 Focus: The Final Battle at Hogwarts - Hogwarts under the Reign of Severus Snape Interviewer: Cale Newell Interviewee: Neville Longbottom 1. Why did you decide to reform Dumbledore's Army after Harry Potter left the school? What motivated you to take a stand? Well, I knew that if Harry was gone, something had to be wrong. Harry wouldn't abandon us for no reason. Everyone had their own theories about where he was, and although I had no sure idea what exactly he was doing, I knew it had to be something to do with fighting You-Know-Who. So, I thought about what I could do as well...things were getting so bad with the Carrows teaching that I decided it was time that the students stood up to them and did our part at the school. No one else was going to stand up and try and take Harry's spot, so I did. Don't take this the wrong way, cause I obviously didn't think I was the new Harry or anything, but if no one else was going to do anything about it...well, I figured I would! 2. What thoughts were going through your head when you ran up to Voldemort, and then later chopped the head off of his pet snake? Honestly--not many thoughts. I really wasn't thinking when I did that! But I was so enraged with him, since we all thought that Harry was lying dead there on the grass, so I guess you could say I felt like everything had been lost. That drove me to go insane, I suppose. When they put the hat on my head and I felt it burst into flames, I wasn't exactly afraid of what the fire would do to me--all my thoughts were still consumed on that snake. Harry said I needed to kill the snake, so I was going to find a way to do that. Once I broke free, I just noticed the sword lying there and knew that this was my chance, and I just swung, hoping I hit something and hoping I didn't injure anyone! Once the snake was dead, I felt completely frozen with fear, since I was sure that You-Know-Who was gonna kill me, but once the battle got underway and he didn't get a shot at me, I was motivated to fight the rest of the Death Eaters since I had a newfound feeling of hope. 3. What was your initial feeling once you realized that Voldemort was dead and it was all over with? Once we saw the spell rebound to You-Know-Who, it was completely silent. I just remember I was sitting there, expecting him to jump back up and start fighting Harry again. But when he didn't, and it slowly started to sink in--well, there were no words. Everything was over with and this huge feeling of relief swept over me, and then after a few moments of just being in total shock, I got ecstatic and screaming...it was a great moment, it really was. |

"Erm..." he muttered, listening to Varius. He grinned a bit as he was ordered to write it down, glad at least that it hadn't been a vague order. "Ok..." His hand was starting to ache from the writing, and it was starting to appear all messy, so Jake was pleased when he only had a large amount of S's to write from the hisssssssssssssssss. "I think, Ruby, that the Hagrid man had his wand taken away after the girl was found dead. I think she was found, then the school was threatened to close, then Riddle 'discovered' Hagrid..." Jake finished up writing the notes and held them out for his whole group. "If something needs adding or contradicting, just tell me, and we'll change it," he explained. "Or you can change it in your own notes." Yeah, you didn't need to be older than a third year to whoop butt in acting. Quote:

"No, no," Varius assured him, "You've done a lovely job." He copied down the third and final part of their assignment, completing all three questions and successfully surviving. "Well done guys," he said as he rested back on his chair and relaxed. He felt all stiff... maybe Truebridge could give him a massage after class? Or BunBun : D. |
almost a one liner >_< pheww Jake quickly shoved his name on his work and headed up to hand it in at the front before sitting back down. "Haha, me? You did the last two..." he said to Varius, but glad they'd managed to get it in. |

Crystal :) Elizabeth grinned as Mari agreed to at least answer one of the questions, but then flushed a little at the faint compliment. "Did I? I wasn't sure. But I bet you could do better than you think at getting his personality down. Since Hagrid shows up a lot more in Wizarding history than Harry's uncle does," she said, then waited as her friend wrote something down on the parchment. And when Mari then asked what they wanted to do about the last question, she laughed again at the expression on her friend;s face. "No, I think we should at least put something down for the last question. But I can try, if you want. Then we can get it turned in." Glancing at the parchment again, she thought for a few minutes before scribbling on it again. Quote:

Ethan straightened the pile of handed in work and cleared his throat just as the record on the gramophone came to an end, "I hope you all took notes, you will need them for your homework. The homework is in two parts but should be submitted together." Professor Truebridge tapped the board and the homework appeared under the notes. Quote:

Jake was close to falling over in shock. "Heeeeeehuuuuuheeeeeehuuuuuheeeeee..." he wheezed, quietly. Nuuuuuu!!!!! Too much thinking involved... can't we just draw?! Jake thumped his head on his desk and began to write, making sure he got it all done. Soon enough, there it was. Checking his notes again, Jake piled everything up at put it into his bag. "Laters, Professor," he nodded, before he left. Stupid accent... |
