"Harry Potter was related to his much older years, I think we're focusing on his teenaged years and how this could have shaped him into what he became during the Potter's time... I think. But Dumbledore is a good suggestion, what would you ask him though Ruby?"

Varius pondered in thought for a moment. They could only ask three questions which is a incredibly small amount considering even this ten year period of Voldemort's history. He had his followers in school, his admiring teachers, fellow classmates, the orphanage: There was a ton of people who could be asked a ton of questions.

"I think, one of the matrons in the orphanage would be a good place to start. It would help us explain the start of our chosen time period. A question could be his strange, peculiar behaviours and whether or not she would have categorised him as evil at the time? Or eviler than the rest. I suppose she could help with the explanation of the psychological implications of how Voldemort turned out... she surely would have seen a lot of messed up kids working in an orphanage. Thoughts?"

"Yeah," Jake nodded, his London accent coming back again, as it only seemed to do when his voice raised. "Erm, I agree with asking Dumbledore, but Potter and his family weren't around right then..."

Jake wrote something down. "So, we're doing Voldemort and the Myrtle incident, and I personally would ask Dumbledore if he noticed that Tom Riddle was acting strangely at the time, assuming we know it was Tom and that this is done in retrospect."

"Good point Jake, is this done in retrospect? Do we get to make that call? I guess we do, since we're being historians right? We'll just pretend then," he smiled. DEFIANCE TOWARD TRUEBRIDGE MWHAHAHA *COUGHCHOKE*

"Well, I think Dumbledore is most definitely our number one person to question. I would suggest Myrtle, but is that maybe a little too obvious? She did spend most of her time in that bathroom where the Chamber's entrance is... surely she was bound to have noticed... 'unpeculiar' traffic... which eventually led to her... you know, spilling out secrets about strange rooms with mirrors in them over 60 years later"

"Well, sometimes they are truly the owner. I mean, if like the person under pays them like they used to." Melanie pointed out, carefully taking the side of the goblins. "And they really only say that if they're the ones that made it or if another goblin made it. I mean they don't say anything if it's dwarf made. That would just be weird."

Melanie scrawled down what Truebridge said about questions and tried to think up some. "Thanks." she said kindly to the teacher. "So..." she began, sticking her pencil behind her ear absentmindedly. "Who do you think lead the goblins to rebellion? It could have been another goblin, a person... or maybe even when they all just got really mad? Annnnd... When did they begin working at Gringotts: before or after the rebellions?" Melanie started shooting of questions directing them at Ana. She knew that since they were first years the other Hufflepuff probably wouldn't know all this stuff so Melanie pulled a textbook from her bag and started flipping through it. "Let's make our ten year period when the goblin rebellion first started, unless you want to do the Harry, Ron, Hermione era first. We could do both." she suggested, shrugging. Melanie let out a breath of relief, her shoulders relaxing. That. was. alot. to. say.

"Well if it isn't done in retrospect, then it wouldn't be History, would it?" Jake mused to himself. "Onward we march through the trepid adventures of... my history book..." he announced clearly, hearing his Lon-Don-ish accent again, and resolving to either control it, or shut up.

He was a sly one, was Varius. "And of course," he added, in a kinda cryptic way. "Whether the other ghosts would be pleased with her revealing topics about... the Chamber place-a-ma-bob..."

But seriously, Jake went on for a different approach. "What about a student... maybe a Ravenclaw or a Slytherin. Because House unity was kinda deaded back then, and with regards to Riddle, they'd know a tad more than a Huffie or a Lion... But, I think Myrtle is good... what would you ask?"

Ruby thought for a moment and replied "we could ask her what Tom Riddle was like when she was alive and at school with him?" she said casualy

Ruby placed a piece of hair behind her ear and said "if thats what you wanted to know of course" she said with a sly smile

"Well i'd probably ask her, like what Ruby said, what she thought of Riddle... I mean, she may not have known he was her killer at the time, but now she does and i'm sure she has had plenty of time to... reflect (all these mirror innuendoes :P). Or maybe it would be better to question the purpose of the chamber? Get to know what Riddle's true intentions were: was it really to try and get rid of all the muggleborns or something bigger?" Varius hated this assignment, he felt as if they were going round in circles but completely unaware of it. What would you ask someone all those years back... I mean, really? Who had ever thought of this stuff...

Ruby looked at Varius and said "but Myrtle might not want to talk about the chamber again acording to the books she did for Harry Potter......" Ruby sighed "plus what would the other ghosts do the Bloody Barron would have a feild day......"

Ruby had a thought and said Jake, Varius do you think the Bloody Barron would ever speak of Tom Riddle" she was thinking maybe he could be a good source.......

"We should ask if she fancied him," Jake murmured. "She fancies every other bloke in this castle."

Speaking in his usual volume again, Jake replied. "Uhm, maybe she wouldn't be the best source for information, it's like dealing with smoke and mirrors with her, she never reveals the whole story... Erm, someone else... maybe Horrid Horace Slughorn? We could ask him if Riddle seemed capable of being so dang evil, because he knew how talented he was, right?"

Urgh... this seemed alot harder than last lesson. Maybe they had the wrong idea?

"Or maybe, he seemed the exact opposite... a mirror image..."

"No, no problem, we start with the goblins!" she said "Some of the rebellions start with a small amount of people, in this case goblins and then it just grown, it could have been like that. Or maybe some last act from the wizards that made the goblins really mad" she said "And i think they just start working in the bank after the rebellions, that would make more sense right? What do you think" she finished and taking notes.

Ruby nodded at Jakes thoughts and tried not to laugh at his first statement "yes she did seem too," she agreed she thought about Horace Slughorn and said "was Professor McGonagall wasn't she around at the time of Tom?" Ruby was thinking really hard about what to ask she looked at Jake and said quietly

"i could always ask my Grandfather?"

Vanessa looked up when somebody nudged her, and she smirked when she noticed it was Miles. "Oh. Why would I want to work with you Parker," She raised her head, in a way a pompous way. "Of course I will," She smiled at him, as she turned to face him.

"What do you want to discuss?" She asked, as she thought about some things. "Do you about the Order of the Phoenix?" She thought aloud, whilst twizzling her quill in her fingers.

Varius chuckled at the mention of Myrtle being slightly lenient when it came to flirting with guys, but let it pass without comment. "Wait, wait," he indicated for the two to stop for a moment, "Who is Slughorn? I'm unaware of this person... is he a relative of Riddles?"

Jake shook his head. "Nah, Slughorn used to be a teacher here," he replied. "Head of Slytherin... Tom's house, at that time... and founder of something called the Slug Club... ew..."

Jake looked at Ruby. "We aren't actually doing it though, are we?" he asked, a tad alarmed. "I hope not..."

Miles frowned at her attempt at her little joke. "I don't really want to work with you, but you're all that's left." He said in the same tone as her, and then his face softened. "Yey! He beamed.

"Ooooh!" Miles' face lightened up. "That's was what I was thinking!" It was weird how they had thought of the same thing. Telapathicness perhaps? "How they recruited people, specifically."

Vanessa pretended to glare at him. "Why don't you go join another group." She scowled at him before smiling. "Yup," She grinned, they were too awessomee.

"You were? Awesome," She grinned, whilst writing that down on her piece of parchment. "They did it outside of the Ministry I think...like with posters....and word of mouth." She nodded, whilst looking back up at Miles. "Didn't they like keep it on the low down"

"EEEE! I could never be mean to youuuuu!" Miles beamed and wrapped his arms around her quickly. He let go of her and got a spare parchement out and titled it with 'The Order of the Phoenix'.

"Yeah. To make sure the death eaters couldn't find out." He grinned and scribbled it down. "I'm guessing they wouldn't advertise with posters or anything, that would be silly of them." He laughed.

"Great!" Melanie said. She was glad Ana was her partener... some other people probably wouldn't have agreed with that. "Yeah, like with Voldemort. It started with his group of death eaters and then the mayhem grew and people got scared and joined him. It's different though because Voldemort wanted to cause mayhem. The goblins just wanted better treatment. Yeah, maybe some sort of change in minister or they tried to get the goblins to pick sides on a fight they didn't want to be in..." Melanie stated. "I don't think they would do it afterward because it would sort of be a lost cause right. Rebelling and then deciding to go work for humans... Maybe some of the rebellions were because goblins wanted more pay for their hard work" Melanie protested.

Vanessa felt her cheeks blush as she listened to him. "Cutee," She smiled at him, She was glad that he wouldn't be mean to her. But they needed to get on with this work!

"Exactly," She nodded, whilst writing down what Miles had said on her piece of parchment. "Im sure that a few of the members had to conceal their membership to....because they worked for the Ministry."

"That would make sense too" she smiled "Or that or the jobs at Gringotts was an agreement. Maybe the professor knows..." she said

"If not we can just ask next time we go to Gringotts, of course the goblins may not like that much." Melanie said, thoughtfully, tapping her quill on the next. "What kind of agreement do you mean? Like a treaty for peace?" Melanie asked. She couldn't exactly see the goblins make in a treaty with wizards...

Ana laughed "Yeah I don't think the Goblins would like it" Ana said "Yes, it could be a treaty for peace, maybe with really effort from both parts." she smiled.

"What has the Ministry done to help the goblins though...unless of course what they did in return was giving the goblins jobs. That doesn't seem quite right though. If I was one of the goblins that were helping with a treaty i would bargain for something much better, for instance owning the bank and running it themselves, but it's humans running it now. We're not even sure there is a treaty, though." Melanie said, taking a deep breath when she was done. "I really have to stop rambling like that..." she muttered under her breath, exasperatedly. She wrote down some of their questions and a few answers or possibility's.

Ana heard Lenie and took some notes too. "So... shall we go to Harry, Ron and Hermione? Do you remember any question?" she asked

"Sure, why not?" Melanie said, shrugging. "Remember any questions? What do you mean?" she asked, utterly bamboozled. Haha bamboozled is a funny word. Melanie giggled, thinking of this then looked back at her friend. "Oh yes, right, well, back to work...What do you want to talk about, about them?"
